Not far. Most I figured out is a deal is struck day one and purple team night one go their separate ways so they don't kill each other due to each other pushing the others buttons. The only two that remain are Hagen and Kublai who are perfectly reasonable. Gilgamesh even leaves though less out of anger and more to make sure Naram-sin doesn't go off the deep end. Then Hera starts up her matchmaking all aphrodite style. To everyone's dismay.

Thats as far as I got because the amount of divergences... well they're too many and too precise. For example if she does Masakdo first he pops Byatis and rampages. If she does Naram he pops his final NP and dooms Alexandria. If she, god forbid, round robins it that's basically Naram-Sin, Deiara, and Masakado at least rampaging. Maybe even Hera if she gets made enough at people rejecting her ideas. She is having that Aphrodite Brain Smoothing Treatment after all. of course Nohoipli is the secret final superboss. He is stupidly strong and also not an idiot so he can definitely make plays. God knows what he does in the background. Then I went and forgot gargantuan and have to wonder how she affects things.

So yeah. a bit too much going on for me to account for.

That said... well like I said. Hagen and Kublai make it to final two I think.... and I think Kublai wins it.

Especially is Kublai takes Nohoilpi’s phantasm. If she does that, then EVERYONE is fucked

You know, it's funny that at large, the Gold team's relationship is on a much friendlier note compare to the purple team other than, I guess, Archer and maybe Caster, who are the bad apples; the rest seem to get along just fine, or at least amicably

Archer actually doesn’t act like the piece of shit he is until he actually starts gambling. That may prevent everyone from gangin up on him immediately.

Also, archers win con is hide in the woods, no one cares too much about him since they see him as a gambling fool. Then, hope that the survivor isn’t Kublai, proc his phantasm and then fuck that guy over. Might work. Maybe. Rule of cool doesn’t allow it though.

Gil vs Vegas would be a pretty badass fight. Vegas would have to constantly be burning away his winnings to keep the Marble going while he blasts Gil. I'd say Gil is Vegas's second worst matchup after Kublai.

Hegel isn't too much of a threat to him.

Kublai, due to rule of cool, will probably out gamble him and screw him up. But, assuming Vegas plays smart, he'd refuse to play with Kublai on basis of "Why the hell is she so confident? She can't be that dumb. Right?"

However, Vegas will probably fulfill his role as a mid to late boss. Thus is the narrative.

Vegas is basically banking his victory chances on not one but multiple people, who already clearly know how dangerous he is, taking pity on him against their interest for no reason while he're acting like a smug asshole the whole time. Also, when a new guy enters the casino knowing nothing about how the casino works, or Nohoilpi's own abilities, it's pretty normal for them to appear confident. "Why is this person so confident" doesn't seem like a good enough justification for a dealer who already has a massive ego and sheer confidence that he (supposedly) can never lose.

I'd assumed that in the Kublai route, he's already beaten several other people, so Kublai has seen what he's capable of.

True once again. However, betting your entire Saint Graph against a man who hasn't lost a single game and who has been laughing about said fact still seems a bit funny. Especially to the man who invented gambling.

Potentially. I still can see a few problems with that scenario, but it works well enough and is thematically cool enough to happen.

Once it happens, I can see two things happening.

1. Vegas, seeing he's lost, commits suicide rather than give up his phantasms to a filthy human.

2. Kublai succesfully takes his Saint Graph and then steamrolls everyone else in the war.

Which do you think works better?

Man, I just hope anyone comes up with something great for Gajah Merik to do. I have been busy with college, so I have much time to put my thoughts on paper about his role in the war. I imagine a sweet kickass swordfight scene with him but still a bit fuzzy on the details
