Looking through everyone's comps so far, these seem to be the most common places of origins, for ease of making teams:
    - Britain
    - America
    - France
    - Japan
    - China
    - Rome (and its territories, which I guess would technically cover Gaul, Byzantine Empire, Jerusalem, Egypt, Britain, and a bunch of other places? Would that still count when dividing the teams? Probably not, as that would muddy the territories too much)
    - Greece (mostly AoG)
    - Arabia/Middle East (thanks Ismail!)

Do you like jazz short stories? Do you want something to distract from making Servants? Do you wish the idea of Shirou Kotomine didn't immediately bring edgelords to mind? Well, I can't promise it's good, but some would disagree with me.

Hey, for when I roll later today, should servantverse be considered a different era, or should that be a nationality?

It's more like a setting. afaik. Servantverse counterparts don't necessarily come from the same era that their Proper Human History selves come from, nor are they necessarily materially born in the same nations. So, because of that, you can't really roll two Servantverse characters from different eras. Also, if you roll, say, a character from Country A and a Servantverse character based on a figure from Country A, there's no guarantee that the latter will know about Country A or feel a connection to its history. As far as I can tell, at least.

So yeah I'd probably just trash those rolls for this HSW if it were me lol

I've started rolling, and just wanted to give everyone a heads up that if you submitted your nationality list (And Royd since he said he was working on it), you're guaranteed a slot- I'll freeball the rest

After an academic leave for a short vacation period, the lads, ladies, lovelies outside and in-between, whoever the hell they are in the Atlas Summoning Department, are back in action! Without further delving into any narrative paragraphs, having a Gag Order placed upon them by a certain Broadcast Rights-holding Berserker, the results of Holy Schlock War Nine aren't to be talked about. So, we're just getting right to it!

The war will take place in Yellowstone National Park in the USA, consisting of 8 teams of servant pairs of the same regions, separated only by a substantial gap in their respective eras of origin. One old, one young(er)! Their masters, as always, are not part of the occasion, but consider them all sufficiently supplied with mana. The Grail will spawn where shown upon the map once only two teams remain- the same goes where you can find each servant team's positions.

    Now, let's get wild!

Let the 10th Holy Schlock War Commence!

Huh, she got chosen, unexpected but okay. Let's hope she doesn't get interrupted again. Now I go (try) to familiarize with all these servants.

Edit: AnjuAdams's Archer Akechi Mitsuhide (1500s) had the wrong link

Dang, can't believe Yamato Takeru was actually immortal and moved to China some 500 years after his supposed death.

Anyways, Bentham and Calogrenant, not a bad team. As a Watcher, Bentham is strictly playing support, but Calogrenant already has a good mix of brains and brawn to hold his own anyways. Combine that with Bentham's "doubting" mechanic to further weaken enemies, I say they could make it pretty far through the war (though I haven't read super deeply into the other Servants).

As for Calogrenant's personal Hedonic Calculus... does Skull have any ideas? Basically take his definition of happiness and fashion some cool mystic eyes out of it. I have to read his sheet again before I can come up with anything.

I'll go more in depth later, but for now I can say for initial impressions that Ngurangurane and Bayajidda are going to be a nightmare to fight, as Ngurangurane specializes in water mobility, Bayajidda has liquid manipulation as an NP, both have really solid stats and overall kits, and they start the closest of any team to Yellowstone Lake

Servants with divinity (AKA Unas' main targets):
    - Alcyone & Ceyx
    - Laevateinn (he'd have some mixed feelings about them, though, either he'd try to kill them, or recruit them as an anti-divine weapon)
    - Ngurangurane
    - Sporus=Attis
    - Yue Fei
    - Yamato Takeru
    - Boi Bumba

Ooh, what luck. Team Britain is literally the only team that doesn't have at least one member with divinity, putting them rather low on Unas' list of priorities. Bentham's CotDoINR (man, that was a pain to abbreviate) does grant the team a minor anti-divine niche, but I think he'd rather stay back and let Unas eliminate as many of the competition as possible before he intervenes with Calo. In fact, maybe team Brit would sneakily help out Unas from the shadows by weakening/sealing his opponent's abilities in key moments. Once Unas has outlived his usefulness, if someone else doesn't get to him first... that's when Calogrenant's up.

You know Amr would have mixed feelings about Unas like he understands a bit of his plight, but in his eyes, Unas is going about the wrong way, so yeah, Amr might let you guys take him out and bow out of the war. Amr is cautious with Grail, and seeing what Unas wish is, Amr's alarm bells ring off like this so bad I have to stop this maniac. So yeah, if Team Britain goes for the ambush route, Amr would most likely help with that, and from what I read on Bentham, he and Amr would get along swell.
