Oshi no Ko: I like how color rushes back into the world when Aqua calls out to Kana. And then disappears again when he kisses another girl on every television screen in Japan. Kana is very cute. BUT NOT AS CUTE AS AKANE MY GIRL IS PRECIOUS AND DESERVES THE WORLD

Plenty of great faces this episode too. Kana and Memcho getting the max saturation effect is one thing, but Aqua getting boomed by Akane again can't be left out.

With the show adapting 3 chapters per episode we can end up with episodes like this where both Akane and Kana get their time with Aqua. This won't happen again, at least not so amicably.

Haven't watched the anime but Tengoku is great. Been a while since I enjoyed a read like that.

Dr Stone New World Part 1
Pretty good. There's some good movements in the plot and the new conflict is pretty good. Looking foward to part 2

Ousama Ranking Yuuki no Takarabako.
Pretty good collection of sidestories that expand on the world and cast. That said, there's some episodes that are super important and must not be skipped, so this is a must watch. Looking foward to the manga having enough chapters for S2

DMDP: Solitaire, what a card. Is Corpse God from the future?
Yuusha: Good stuff, good stuff. Fun back and forth.
Dr. Stone: Hilarious Kohaku moments. I teared up with Byakuya's efforts in passing on the torch to Senku. Leave it to Dr. Stone to stoke one's love of humanity. I can't wait for the next part.
Magus Bride: In which Chise regrets her words and deeds. Nice to see her continue to reflect upon her expanded agency and struggle to cope with that. Philomela is very cute and deserves protection. LMAO at Seth approving of his little sister fondling a boy's snake in the infirmary.

Tengoku: What the fuck, Robin is twisted. Don't let that end like how it looked.
Jigokuraku: Ewww the bugs want to rape Mei. RIP Groot.

Kimetsu: The twist at the very end saved this arc from being a complete slog. Very flat plot progression throughout.
That being said I wish Muzan's plan had been revealed before the Nezuko "miracle". It would've given that moment a sense of foreboding that would've gone rly well imo.

Demon Slaer Sworsmith Village Arc
Pretty good. Lots of cool moments. The biggest problem is the pacing. Felts stretched at parts, like they could've done it with less episodes than 11 (2 of those double length)

Fun show of cute girls doing cute and funny stuff. I liked it. Pretty decen

Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear S2
Pretty decent. If you love S1, you'll love S2. Yuna is adorable and great

Vinland Saga S2
Absolute masterpiece. Love it. I love Thorfinn's growth in this season and the other characters are also great. A great show about the value of pacificsm and the ills of war and slavery

So I'm about a month behind on anime so I'm trying to catch up this week:

Oshi no Ko: the first I caught back up on and also the one that felt like one long unbroken story. Damn that part where Aqua offered Mem a pace in the group hit so well just with the musical swell. Wow, Akane's fucking nuts.

Heveanly Delusion: You know, with the way all these episodes shook out with the "we solved the active problem, but people are going to be people" I was expecting Robin to be some form of evil, but not 'sexually assault your underling stuck in his sister body' level. I figured there was some time between the two main settings, but I wasn't expecting them to be the parents of one of the MC's. Or for them to be twins. I was expecting the injuries to be from whenever the kids inevitable monster form was beaten, but if it's years in the future and also possible they're all twins, I have no idea. I lol'd at the facilities grand plan being just trying to "Get Out" an alien body. Makes sense for what Haruki is going though though. Also the granny fucking booking it when her wheelchair has no one to push it.

Birdie Wing: and we've no entered the modern Ippo part of the story, where you golf so hard you give yourself brain damage. I was kind of disappointed they zoomed through the training arc and the first 3 rounds of teh finals, but if it means we get a few nice episodes of them going head to head, a couple montages are worth it. Eve getting out "happy Gilmour:-d for two episodes was fun. I did laugh at seeing the black girl double fisting bananas at the tee. Not because it was funny, but because it was already a bad stereotype when I first saw it in Love Hina 20 years ago. I did miss the power rock on Eve's shots now that she's gotten better though.

Tensei Kizoku Isekai Boukenroku
Decently fun isekai. Nothing special, but mostly a fun and colorful show. I like it. It was entertaining

My Home Hero
Excellent crime show. Tosu and Kasen are great. And the mindgames and tension are pretty well done. Only downside is the production values. Love it

Isekai Smartphone 2
I honestly really like this show. Love S1 and Love S2. It's just fun harem isekai stuff. This is just my personal opinion, though

I fucking love Witch from Mercury. My only complaint is how it's moving right now, we'll only see 24 episodes instead of the normal 50-ish. Even if they do a second season, They don't really have a good track record with shows that resolve the plot the first half. IBO and 00 in particular.

Oshi no Ko: Nice to see Kana's VA finally emoting for real. She felt a bit monotone especially in the Sweet Today episodes. This was a marked improvement.
Nothing much to say, the episode looked amazing as it always did, and it set up the season finale nicely.

Everyone's favorite depressed idiot. I'm fond of this moment; if you're new, just give it your best without any worries. Ruby was a regular ray of sunshine this episode, so that's great. Lol at the Pieyon censors.

Konosuba Bakuen
A pretty good spinoff prequel. Different from Konosuba, but still great and fun for Megumin and Yunyun fans

Yuusha ga Shinda
Pretty fun show. The cast was fun to follow and I loved seeing Touka fight with smarts and traps. Fanservice was hot, too.

Watayuri
Great cast, and very good drama. I like it. Really good yuri romance drama
