Btw: there will be a "challenge friend" functionality soon in Arena, so that's something to look forward to.

My second Dominaria draft deck: Death By Turtles. Got a bunch of pieces for monoblue so that turned out pretty well.

Didn't really wan to draft Dominaria (set feels weird to me) so I decided to buy some Ixalan packs to try and get Dino stuff. Got Ripjaw Raptor and another Rootbound Crag, heck yeah

I tried for a Blue/White historic thing in dradt to complement the premade blue white deck afterwards, and it was a pretty refreshing change of pace. Navigator's compass is kinda stealth OP, allowed me to splash UBW (Grixis?) and even WR while keeping the manabase Islands/Plains. Granted, only won two, but it was honest wins and I'm pretty crap at drafting anyway.

Got my first 5-0 in competitive constructed, last round was against selesnya tokens life gain, after losing game 1, game 2 and 3 both ended with me on 1 health and no cards in library with an emblem that makes me draw 2 every instant/sorcery and casting explosion for exact lethal on his face with the emblem dealing 4 damage, that last bo3 had to have taken like an hour and 20 minutes to play.

Last game I was on 1 health for at least 10 turns, always finding an answer for his 1/1 he kept making with his land

Not a fan of Zhalfirin Void in the Goblin Electromancer/Crackling Drake/Niv-Mizzet deck.

If I had the cards, I'd try something like:

-1 Zhalfirin Void
-2 Vodalian Arcanist
-2 Fire Urchin
-2 Unwind
+3 Goblin Electromancer
+2 Radical Idea
+2 Sinister Sabotage

Hmm. Truth be told, I was thinking of removing it too, but the scry really is useful when wheeling cards often. And since I actually dropped an Electromancer in packs, I gave in and crafted another one and replaced the Arcanists, too. Dropped an Unwind and Wizard's retort for 2x Unexplained Disappearance, if I get any Sinister Sabotages I might swap those back in.
Not a fan of Radical Idea though- I've tried it and it doesn't seem to do much.

Oh yeah, and I provisionally swapped Thousand-Year Storm for Firemind's Research. Not sure how much value I can squeeze out of it yet but I almost never got to use TYS anyway.

Ultimate Masters, aka UMA, is going to be release Dec. 7th.
Also MSRP is 14-15usd for single packs and 335+usd for a box. But you get a guaranteed "box topper".

I am not a fan of the MSRPs at all.

Oh man, this was so much fun.

So I have a Golgari deck that's jank. Actually, scratch that. ~~Most~~ All of my decks are jank, this one is just, like... super-jank. Jank Evolved. It's got 70 cards in it. I basically just threw in every BG card I've drawn with neither rhyme nor reason.
Aaanyway, since the card gods saw fit to grace me with the second Vraska planeswalker and then Molderhulk one behind the other, I decided to revive it for the lulz. Start up, get a match against a mono-blue tempo. You know the type, Merfolk Herald, Curious Obsession, Tempest Djinn, the rest. Game goes as follows.
T1: land, land+herald.
T2:, land+Doomed Dissenter, land+Curious Obsession.
T3: land, Charnel Troll.

At this point you could hear the guy's gears grind to a halt. He nearly timed himself out, going from the Troll to the Dissenter to my tapped out mana, probably trying to figure out how I was planning to pay for the Troll's upkeep. (Spoilers: I wasn't). In the end, he swung at me and then dropped an Exclusion Mage to bounce my troll back.

That was pretty much the rest of the (unfortunately short) match: I kept pulling stupid shit just to try out my new cards and the dude was stuck trying to figure out what 300 IQ super-strat I was following. At some point I even think he might've alt-tabbed to look for a guide, he had to take a timeout.

This was the funniest stomp I've had in...pretty much ever.

I don't know how the ladder matching mechanism works, but I pretty much never face monoblue.

I seem to mostly face black-green, blue-red, grixis, blue-black, white-green and white-red, and players between Bronze 2 and Silver 4 (I've been stuck in Bronze 1 in the Constructed ladder since literally day 1, while I'm Silver 4 in Limited after a pretty good Dominaria draft season.)

I seem to get mono-blue and mono-red fairly often. If not that, either black/white lifegain or GB Saprolings. But then I've peaked at around B2 (bouncing between 3 and 2 every so often).

So, apparently there's an infinite combo where you combine Famished Paladin (untaps whenever you gain life) with Sorcerer's Wand (tap creature for 1 damage to face) and any source of Lifelink.
I beat it completely by accident by playing Shalai, Voice of Plenty (your face is hexproof), but I spent the entire match trying to figure out what the interaction was between then and why the guy would combine those cards like that. Blessed are the meek, I guess.

I've got to silver 4 in constructed and limited, but I only ever play constructed events for constructed now, because I don't like bo1

The deck I mostly face is G/B midrange and all of the different flavours it offers. 2nd highest is izzet drakes/phoenix, 3rd is shared between mono red/blue, then the various control archetypes and mono green stompy, and somewhere in there is boros life gain angels.

Guilds Draft: The Search for Shocklands is going pretty meh for me after the Dominaria bonanza.

I caved in and forced Boros in my latest draft, let's see how I do.
