He never sleeps. He never dies.
Battle doesn't need a purpose; the battle is its own purpose. You don't ask why a plague spreads or a field burns. Don't ask why I fight.
Don't buy from the store, silly.

To be honest, whenever I return to the States, I give all my cards away to my friends who still play. The only condition is that they don't sell these cards.
Which you knew already.
(Seriously, she was like the one girl in all fantasy art who managed neither to be wearing scraps - though there's a place for that - nor the ridiculous contraption she's currently burdened with, which is an excellent way of helping the opponent to kill you. Why, WOTC?)
You definitely are.

Since Kel didn't know, first five promo codes are out. Might have to do some fiddling - verify Steam cache, twiddle the 'sever-generated content' button, restart the game - to get it to work, but they do work eventually. If there's an arrow to the right of the first splash on your Promotional Unlocks screen that's a good sign that it'll probably accept them. (Yes, this is the batch including Force of Will)
GKSNDR
DWNNDR
TRCKSC
FTHPTH
PRSTTT
So did some playing as celebration and to sort out tweaked deck lists.
Kel, it works in the first and only game I've played with it, therefore you're wrong and I am wonderful.
6 lands per turn, from the top of the deck as well as my hand. And each land gets me 6 life for good measure
Also did a fine slow-rolling of the AI when I set my sights on flashing back Increasing Devotion and drawing all ten cards which Mentor of the Meek could possibly provide from it. With a Thalia out, that would cost 20 in my 22-land weenie deck. Along the way to that goal, I got to play most of the rest of my deck. Which, oddly enough, works rather well with creating ten 1/1 humans at once.
Spoiler:
The turn went something like this:
Flashback Increasing Devotion - ten human 2/2 tokens (Honor of the Pure) enter the battlefield
Twenty Mentor of the Meek triggers go on the stack from two Mentors, and I draw 10.
Thirty Champion of the Parish triggers go on the stack and resolve, so each of the three has an extra 10 +1/+1 counters.
Twenty Goldnight Commander triggers go on the stack and resolve, giving the entire team +20/+20.
Thraben Doomsayer taps: new token - everyone gets another +2/+2 and the Champions get their extra counter.
Mikaeus the Lunarch taps: everyone gets another +1/+1 counter.
End Result
914/914 for the 34 human tokens
976/976 for the 36 tokens total
1723 power and 1725 toughness across 54 creatures, all told.
Oh, and, you know, Avacyn. So they're all indestructible. That small extra matter too.

Disagree on the only part of the post I read. AI was obviously taking it easy on you because you are in a terrible terrible place. I am never wrong. except when I am
Probably gonna play and tweak the sliver deck later today. Dat coat of arms. Chandra's mew cards might even make that deck playable.
---edit---
Also totally have you beat when it comes to gaming the ai. Because I had a 9999/9999 Trample.

Just a heads-up.
Two years later, modern is still Jund aggro vs. Esper control. Oh wait, Ravnica also added 'Murrica midrange.
And what am I thinking, that's not even modern, that's standard. Got confused there for a second!

I love how the announcers don't know what the hell Primeval Bounty does.
And it's always hilarious to me when people playing decks worth hundreds of dollars run out of tokens.

The race between bounty/tusk/Garruk and Assemble the Legion is quite epic.
Kind of surprising though, that nobody packes naturalizes/permanent removal, not even in sideboard.
It should be interesting to see what wins. More 1/1s versus less 3/3s.

Putrefy a 1/1 soldier, lol.
;_; Yours gets gibbed by upheaval!
I can't really tell what's going on because that camera is awfully placed. Really don't care much for the standard environment these days. But I hate things that are different and RDW, Goblins, and mono-black control will always be my favorite deck types.
It's actually really comfortable compared to how it used to be.
You just have to be able to pick apart the cards from afar, and obviously also know them.

If this was apocalypse, judgement, scourge, or fifth dawn standard I could totes do that. Not so much with things from the past 10 years =P
lol, Sublime Archangel domination.
Craig Wescoe has grown on me a lot. Won Dragon's Maze block constructed with a single Civic Saber for the lulz, won another pro tour with 4x Elspeth white weenie, now playing current standard with a noblebright NOT EVEN BOROS WR.
Edit: >Tom Martell having to check what Domri's Emblem says
It's cool how often Domri's ultimate gets used in high play.
Relatedly, it's also beginning to show that more than a few permanent types being relevant and needing immediate answer confuses the spikes terribly.

Final judgement then!
Exalted decks are fun, with Sublime Archangel. Too bad I don't have a full set of foils... Sigh...
