“The Zoa? As far as I am aware, they are merely gangsters of the brutish variety. While they might perform a number of wicked sorceries, I have no reason to believe they are demon conjurors. That’s something in the Black Forest’s domain, according to rumor.”
If Gabriella noticed a change in your demeanor, she didn’t show it. Instead she carried on with the same smug cadence as she did before. It was hard to tell if she amused or something else.
“But the demons plague those with wounded hearts. It’s through such scars that they wiggle inside. While I doubt the Zoa to be the masterminds of such a farce, they may be the unintentional orchestrators of our unfortunate circumstance.”
Gabriella seems to offer a humble prayer, no longer than a brief nod, grasping her hands together. While you couldn’t rule out just how much these gangsters were involved, it seemed the North Star held the belief that their influence was merely secondary. They might be an important player, but they seemed to reject the idea they were the culprits.
“That’s not to say they are unknowledgeable, this is their turf. I hesitate to believe they know nothing at all.”

Day 1 - Afternoon (New Moon)
Management Office
Jun watches casually as Anima hurries around the office packing her things in preparation to depart. His eyes lingered upon the gun on the wall, waiting to see if she’d actually bring it down only for her to move on from it.

“Whatever floats your boat ma’am. We’re one big family to the end, for better or for worse. I can’t turn you down if you ask so nicely.”
With a nod at her request Jun prepared himself to head out, which consisted of adjusting his shirt and nothing more. He didn’t need much to get ready.

“I’m merely a middle man ma’am. Couldn’t tell ya why anybody in particular was chosen. But Magisfair can be quite dangerous if you poke around the wrong spot. Always good to have someone on hand who is paid to take the bullet for you no?”
It seemed to you that Jun, while maybe not in the know, was also considering the possibility of things getting violent. Even so he was perfectly willing to come along as if it was a casual outing.

“Ready when you are. And a snack eh? Hmmmm?”
Of all the things to seriously ponder in your conversation thus far, it seemed sweets were the thing he decided to actually put his mind to.
“Anything lemon will do. Perhaps a tart or something.”

Day 1 - Afternoon (New Moon)
Cat Sith Casino- Main Hall
With much skill and charisma behind you, slipping into the natural flow of the talkative table is like second nature. In a moment it’s as if you were always a part of the conversation. It was barely even a test of skill to get these two folks blabbering on about that strange rumor.

“It’s a load of nothing that’s what. It’s probably just another fucked up magus from Tartarus jumping around at night. I don’t get why people are so worked up about it. And terrible name I might add.”
The woman crosses her arms before realizing she almost forgot the most important part.
“Oh and uh, bring me a Whitbread Gold Label.”
“She’s just saying that cause she’s never seen it. As a genuine witness, I’ll give you a real rundown…. Oh, and if I could get some kind of fruity drink that’d be great.”
The man leans back in his chair, one arm hung over the back as he turns his head back to face you.
“I don’t know if you ever been down to Zazel’s Love Connections, but it’s a popular matchmaker service for magi hoping some intermingling may raise their status at the west side of the markets.”
The points to the left with his thumb, seeming to be the sort who uses his hands a lot to talk.
“Well for like a week now, people have been seeing a shadowy figure hanging around that shop and street. At first glance in the dark, you might mistake them for a man, only to notice the bastards got a gaping void for a head. Speaks like a vintage radio announcer too.”
“I’m hardly convinced it’s anything special.”
The woman just rolls her eyes at the mans description, not particularly convinced considering how deeply the would be drenched in fantasies in their daily life.
“You wouldn’t say it if you saw the thing. I was starting to see static before the thing flew away. I wonder if the idea that it’s eating people's love checks out?”
“Now that one clearly has no basis.”
The woman once again dismisses the idea outright but the man just shrugs his shoulders brushing it off.
“It’s just a theory. Why else would a demon thing wanna hang around a love shack?”
Yvonne Llanfair
Phase 1
Day 1 - Afternoon (New Moon)
Criegula - Sector 6 Terminal Office
“Llanfair? Are listening?” Llanfair?”
Vasiliki calls your name as you depart but far too distracted you vanish from his office as quickly as you entered. He watches the heavy door slam behind you, once again leaving him alone with the hum of machinery for company.
“Oh I guess your dear manager isn’t worth a goodbye? Just gonna take the job and leave! Kids these days…..”
……………
If you were reading things right, the package was set to be delivered somewhere at the management office. It wasn’t that far a trek so things were looking to be a quick and pleasant trip. You could take a trip through one of the nicer parts of town, strolling casually into the large complex of the management office.
A large, ornate fortification with large stone walls, it was one of the oldest buildings in the city located close by to one of Magisfair’s ever important entrances. With plenty of money poured into it the area was far more scenic than most of the city, possessing a collection of vibrant wildlife, some of which you’d never find on the surface.
However all that money and armaments meant a firm barrier between the residents and the riff raff. Brought forth to the front gate, the point through which everything must pass, you were met with not merely regular security.
No, today for some reason, the M.S.D was on guard. The captain had come by at the same time you were. She appeared to be discussing something with those at the gate before realizing your presence, turning to face you personally.
“Do you have business here ma’am?”

“Helen Bygrave is an enforcer representing Magisfair. Separate from the regular bunch, they hunt magi within the city at the association's discretion. They get to be the Enforcer closest to the place where Sealing Designations are decided, but the odds of ever actually pursuing one are low for they cannot leave Magisfair.”
Tindal provides a basic overview of her functions, but no more than what you would already know if you research information about her beforehand. It perhaps wasn’t the most satisfying answer, but it seemed Tindal would be playing her cards close to her chest.
“Amongst the Enforcers there isn’t one more suited for Albion than her. Many times she is hired just like an excavator would so she has plenty experience in the tomb.”
