I was an unlikeable nerd! ...Not much changed.
shit BL says
Once and always and nevermore.
I was a nerd with very few social skills towards the start of it but an extroverted classmate took me under his wing (we both played Pokémon) so I got better at it.
Not many crazy stories there, I was still learning to do stuff other than watch anime and talk about it. The wildest thing I did was skipping class to drink so that's the level of boring we're working with.
Was considering making an account of BL.
Though abandoned, forgotten, and scorned as out-of-date dolls, they continue to carry out their mission, unchanged from the time they were designed.
Machines do not lose their worth when a newer model appears.
Their worth (life) ends when humans can no longer bear that purity.
I have been remembered as someone with anger issues and got into a fight with other kids each year.
Don't ask my win rate.
Outside of a small group of close friends, I mostly kept to myself throughout hs, but I have something of a funny story in middle school.
So there was this one seating area in my school located under a big, lush tree. According to "unofficial school tradition", this was a place reserved for third-years, mostly the jocks and the popular kids to spend during recess. First and second-years weren't even allowed to sit there (or maybe we're just too intimidated by the third-years, idk).
I never really understood what's so special about the place, and I didn't like the "tradition" either, so when I became a third-year and people from my year started sitting there... I went on a one-man crusade and vowed to never sit there for the entire year as an expression of my stance against (what edgy middle school me believed to be) blatant classism, seniority, and discrimination.
As you might expect, no one even remotely noticed or cared about my little crusade, and absolutely nothing changed in the end, but I did manage to stick to my vow right until the end of the school year, so I still count that as a personal victory of mine.
Wonder how that place is doing. Haven't visited my old middle school in forever, and last I heard that big tree was demolished. Maybe the third-years have a different turf now.
Loser who was always on his computer and never liked to talk to people. Occaisonally made people laugh with a mean comment about someone else. Was also known for being really good at math.

I was the same I am now except I couldn't speak english out loud, wasn't obsessed with TM yet and had the energy to stay up late at night without fucking up my morning disposition.
.
It may shock you, dear poster, but on this comparatively ancient website you can look back at the first posts from 2011 and get a glimpse into my highschool-era persona. I'm now pushing 30.
<NEW FIC!> Revolution #9: Somewhere out there, there's a universe in which your mistakes and failures never happened, and all you wished for is true. How hard would you fight to make that real?

I was severely depressed/anxious/agoraphobia/anorexic etc and stopped going to high school during the last quarter, but I was still able to graduate with a good score, so that was nice. Spent a decent chunk of time in ljrp communities.
First year in High School, I thought everything is going to be okay.
End of the High School experience, I'm now questioning my entire life as I realize just how much I am way unprepared for the real world. Lesson learned, reality is harsh.
In the hidden plains of the Internet, there are only the lurkers.
