Can't be helped when there are plenty of factions, not to mention there are some characters who're not as they presented themselves at first encounter.
I liken it to first part of Babylonia, with daily chores and seemingly established antagonists, before all hell breaks loose.
Thank for this. I did know their was a secret scene. I'm on ch 13 so I think I'm good but could we see the scene in "My Room" once the chapter are complete even if we choose the wrong answers? What does the scene add to the story?

Spoiler:
There's a half dozen nodes of battling mobs that serve no narrative purpose whatsoever, and that's just halfway through the story. The narrative seems to meander quite a bit from time to time too, but I'm waiting until I have the full story before I pass judgement on that.

I used revive at one of Baguette's fights because screw buff removal. Woodwose went down fairly fast, though it was still a bit of challenge.
Euryale is quite good for dealing with him.

Just finished chapter 9. Yeah that Ritsuka dialogue while independent from player choice was particularly bland. Usual "never give up" shit
On another note, within type moon lore isnt it kinda a big deal that a fairy(morgan) can be born from 2 humans? I mean fairies suppossedly werent capable of giving birth right plus she was supposed to be a Great-Mother class fairy born from Avalon? Will they explain why this happened?
