Other examples Meuniere gives are Tir na nOg and the Garden of Eden. I imagine most of that sort of paradise other realm are just different cultures interpreting the inner sea.

Super Orion once again making me question what were the devs thinking when they made his kit. You don't realize how much Debuff Immunity trivializes most gimmick fights until you start using him, pretty much carried me through Act 8.

The thing is that it's all relative. Meaning that they're the less creepy ones because you haven't yet met the really creepy ones.

Because none of the Fairies knew about anything about any place else but Fairy Britain despite a good number of Fairies don't actually originate from Britain. That's the point she's making. By comparison, we explicitly know without the Storm Walls, the rest of the World actually exists within the Lostbelts and QSH explicitly talks about it.

Alright, finished part 1, 8/10. I already read the story so I know the true peak fiction only comes on part 2 and continues on 3 so It's about what I expected from this part, also there's a lot of stuff you don't get until you re-read with full context, I won't go into spoilers here but I was surprised with how much foreshadowing there was that I hadn't noticed before.

Aren't you wondering how flotsams, objects that drifted into Fae Britain like artifacts, relics, even living beings like foreign fairies like Rob and Wag or spoiler charactermagus like Spriggan/Capless could get across from outside boundary?

I dunno, they behave much in the way I expect fey to behave, seemed like they played right to type.
It'd be like expecting a vampiric society to not be different from humans. Its like how Medusa is a nature spirit/lesser goddess, and when I found that out I considered her to be basically like a Feyfolk, so when other people thought, "hey, her values seem weird" I internally thought, "no that is about right for a fey".
The types that would kidnap, raise and love a special magically gifted child based on their whims, take random people that suited their fancy, love them to bits (sometimes not meaning that metaphorically) or cast them back when they've outlived all their natural relatives, or reform them into other shapes again to whatever whim they had.
Needless to say, based on what I expect of Fey, they couldn't really do anything that would surprise me.

We've seen that Avalon exists, and there have been references to the Elysium Fields before, along with the various Hells in different mythologies. Despite the whole business where humans are supposed to have their souls recycled. The cosmology angle is somewhat funky sometimes.

Apparently you can kill it with just the NPCs.

Yeah i got too anxious in the battle and used Tsumukari Muramasa at the wrong time, but in the end it all worked out somehow anyway.

isn't the thread title wrong? It says the moment a planet is born, not star.

I know this has come up before so lets settle this. Is the correct translation star or planet?

The correct translation is star. Before the chapter came out, it was incorrectly assumed since this would be about Britain, the term referred to the Inner Sea and the planet.
However, if you read the chapter, you'll notice that chapter title is constructed in relation to the important Saber character scenes in Fate Route: Star in the Fog, You're my only star, and Shining Star.

I'm more curious about how there's still a PHH for "flotsam" to come from in the first place, let alone how it has enough of a connection to a Lostbelt to have that happen.

Part 1 done. XX did some nice damage on the calamity, and Muramasa cleaned it up real nice. Like diced sashimi.
