    Best Thermostat Temperature

63F is my preference, but I know most people hate that.

    Its too cold!

Please. This is not cold. Camping in the Alps where you have to wait until 11AM for the sun to shine on you (even in the middle of summer) is cold.

    5-10C is my preference.

I obsoletely abhor heat, it makes my skin itch something fierce.

I don’t even want to imagine what your electric bill looks like

    ???

Oh, today I learned what a "thermostat" is. My brain just autocorrected the title to thermometer.

Ah, right. Forgot Europeans don’t have AC in their houses.

God it was hellish living there in the summer

Don't have central heating, but the ideal temperature for nature is 40C, no humidity.

I have an update to my stance: the perfect temperature for a leisurely 4km stroll around rural suburbia is 31C. "Normal" levels of humidity are acceptable.

When doing absolutely nothing I would still like the temperature to be warmer than that though.

You just need to become used to it. For the most part, I still think this place is too damn cold for the summertime. But I noticed I've gotten used to the lesser humidity; readapting when I move back to Brisbane could be tough.

I remember I used to be like that when I lived on a tropical island. Then I moved to the mountains and froze to death, then to a certain island country where the weather is always trying to make you depressed. Then I moved to a swampland and died from the heat.

Needless to say, my sense of temperature is all kinds of fucked up

You see the nice thing about living where I live is that we occasionaly get negative temperatures in winter, but someone with tsugumi's preferences would not be out of place in the summer

It's my reward for dealing with fucking February every year. 30 below with windchill my ass. Then there's the snow storm that drop 30cm with a coat of ice on top and below. Or having to grab boiling water from the house to pour on your car door because it's so iced over it won't open. Or just literally too cold for the battery to start.
