On the other hand, as far as a remaster goes this is pretty disappointing. Also Denuvo, ew. We already knew it, but ew.

P3P was already an enhanced edition (though without Answers if I recall correctly). So I guess they didn't feel the need to add anything else content-wise.
As for the graphics, I always expected to find myself disappointed.

I appreciate that the default names for MegaTen (not SMT) II are Hero, Girl, and Friend.
For the sake of consistency, I don't min Atlus coming out and saying "These are the character names". Especially since the one they picked for FeMC was actually my favorite of any of the names any Persona protagonist got.
I already refer to Pokemon protags by their "canon" names, and I've started doing that with the Hakunos and the Ritsukas in Fate, so knowing what to refer to the Persona ones on a regular convo is nice.

I expected more brutal combat in MegaTen II, but wow, the negotiations. I'm having difficulty recruiting a pixie. Takes my items/money and then just leaves.

The thing that interests me the most is that Merope is neither a character name from Frankenstein, nor does she have gold eyes like Elizabeth/Margaret/Lavenza.

Honestly I'm kinda bemused at the choices of Persona myself. I didn't think we'd ever see a Slovakian/Polish figure for the protagonist's initial Persona.

It came out on January. Also they're not announcing it, this is just stuff ppl dug up.
Time will tell. Honestly I think the video is fake, but the domain has been reserved, so something's cooking somewhere.
It's a matter for waiting on official word, might take a few months for them to say anything about it.

Yeah, it's weird that they released the remasters at all if this was in the works.
But then again this existing but maybe being delayed could explain the absolutely barren year-long anniversary celebration, and the leak if pretty convincing.
