What do you think the Collab event will be for 2024

Edit: Fate/Samurai Remnant is going in January. This thread was always ment for speculation of the normal golden week event.



It's this time a year again.

Usually I would make this topic early jan but with the new year coming most likely a few announcements are too and I don't want to miss the chance to make a new speculation wishlist topic.

So with that said here are the options

1. Tsukimhime - The remake is coming to steam next year so there is a reason to promote it again. Arcueid is already in FGO limited who could be added to the gatcha. Ciel might make more sense as an anniversary servant meaning that doing this after the second part of the Tsukimhime remake is out might make more sense.

2. Fate/Samurai Remnent - This was a big deal this year. The cast is will liked too getting tons of fan art. Saber and Iori are popular and will likely appear in this event. Downsides is this might mean other characters can't be summoned or live in NPC jail. Personally, I want every FSR servant so I hope they start adding this over the course of the year, saving up the big ones for a collab later on.

3. Fate/Extella (link) - Archimedes and Karl der Grosse aren't in. Altera Larva is cute and will print gatcha bucks

4. Fate/Proto - Manaka has been a boogieman for a while. I personally don't want FGO to end without fighting her. An event could be a great way to resolve her storyline. This event would give us Proto Gil so this might not be the most wanted but it's definitely safe

5. Fate/Strange Fake - Tons of servants in here. Like FSR none of them are in FGO yet. I personally want them to add a few of the FSF servants into FGO first but save the biggest ones for the collab. Also it wouldn't be impossible for there to be two collabs, first one being around Richard and Ayaka and then a second one around Sigma, Flat and Ishtar.

6. Fate Lost;Einherjar - This novel is new but already has some great servant design. Sakurai writes for FGO frequently so doing this might be easier to produce.

7. Fate/type Redline - I feel Gudaguda fills this spot, but also you guys miss it bad if they skip out on their yearly dose of Okita and Nobu, so maybe this year the collab will be a Redline themed Gudaguda event.

8. Mahoyo - Witch on the Holy Night - Aoko <3. Another VN being released and something else to promote.

9. Other crossover, doujin collab. Nasu likes Elden Ring, maybe something crazy will happen. I personally don't want this unless they do one for the fan game Fate/Empire of Dirt. Too bad that is never gunna happen.

If you post let me know what servants you want the collab to come with and who will be the welfare servant.

It's never prototype, theres nothing to collab with it, at least CCC and Waltz were passion projects, no writer has passion for prototype.

Honestly, the only way I can see Proto being the collab is if they suddenly announce an anime for Fragments/Proto on the New Year Special, it would be sudden just like how the manga adaptation got suddenly release out of nowhere but I'm not holding my breath nor inhaling copium for it.

Remnant or FSF are the most likely options, and if neither of them then probably Mahoyo due to the new port releases + the (who-knows-when) upcoming movie.

Th real answer answer is that there's not going to be a collab because they will need the timeslot to be able to release OC chapters.

Instead Fate Samurai Remnant will get a DLC in which we will replicate the events in Heian Kyo in a different and better way this time.

This is kind of the worst speculation in the entire thread

I just quickly made the poll before I went to work. It should be what you want not what you think nasu will do. God knows they will take what everyone wants and do the opposite.

As much as I adored Remnant, the only new Servant I would be interested in seeing more of would be Samson so that he can speak proper sentences at last. (Also maybe Ushi-Gozen if only to supplant Raikou as she has a way cooler design)

Conversely, I may dislike F/SF as a story but a lot of those Servant could be interesting to see fleshed out in different scenarios so that’s my pick.

Honestly I kind of wonder if they'll ever do a revisit on the series we've already done collabs on that still have a bunch of characters left. Prisma Ilya and Requiem still have many characters you could introduce, for example.

For the ones that haven't had a collab yet:
Strange Fake has a ton of interesting servants that would be fun to have, but Narita has been sure to inform everyone who would listen that a speciific collab is out of the question (individual characters are fine though, apparently, even if no one seems to be acting on it).
Lost Einherjar I think actually has a decent chance, especially if they announce volume 2 in the near future.
Based on what they've said in interviews regarding FGO collabs for Samurai Remnant, probably not this year but 2025 is easily possible.
Tsukihime is a probably not till Red garden is released (and Ciel is introduced in some seperate way, based on what Nasu said in that one interview).
Frankly the fact that we haven't had an Extella (link) collab yet is bizarre to me, considering that the learning with manga managed to get not 1, but 2 collabs technically.
I don't know enough about Mahoyo to lean either way on it, the only reason I think it has a shot is because of the recent release.
Redline and Prototype are probably never evers at this point, simply because GG already covers everything you would reasonably get from Redline and Prototype is just a meme at this point (Proto Gil would be nice though, his design is cool).

Extella and Link are dead games I doubt we’ll be getting a collab. Archimedes will get in… eventually… someway…

I think this is the most likely possibilty. Sakurai really wants her servants to be in FGO and since she has written so much of the story, she might have the influence to make it happen. I figured out what I'm voting for.

Yeah but I mean they’ve literally had interviews where the producers are like “Yeah we’d really like to do a collab in the future” which screams that it’s not ready yet. It’s probably harder to plan around a game release than a book release like Requiem.

He did, he just said it would be hard to implement before it’s done. He doesn’t have a ban on it. It’s just that, logically, it’s hard to implement a collab before the story’s done. I’d say individual characters showing up like Enkidu is more likely than a collab currently.

Yeah it helps Sakurai is one of the writers who is most productive, she writes a LOT. She could handle the load.
