Who's Koga? Koga doesn't exist. I only know Morb von Destroy, there's no William Wallace on BL at all, it sure is a shame that link doesn't work at all.

...like I said, Bird of Hermes did a William Wallace sheet back in the day. Of course, given the "fruits" of what Koga (not to mention venomking back when he was here) produced during his own activity here, I can see why a number of names would be blanked out in the minds of others.

Sarah/Asmodeus: Love this. Might be bloated but given the premise is a critical hit to my kinks I enjoyed reading along all their interactions. For such a fanservicey sheet you conveyed the pathos of their relationship well in the end. I do think even for a dual Servant they have too many Skills though. I feel like Double Summon, Combination and even Affection Of The Demon God could be made into one, likewise Wisdom Of The Demon God and Human Observation. Otherwise they have three Skills for their cohabitation, and Asmodeus has two stating she's good at reading people.

All I can say is that, until Del actually compiled CaS1, trying to find any specific Servant done there was obtuse.

I won't lie, I did the Skills to be distinctly separate from each other at first, and when I looked back at the Skills before posting and tried to think of alternative names for the potential combination Skills to try to lessen the load my brain went 'Lol yoooou fucking thought, bitch!' and just barred any thought processes from going further beyond 'How the fuck do I work these Skills together?!'. So I just ended up using the ultra-bloated Skillset that my Monke brain thought 'three together, three per each person good enough' said.

I think the reasoning was: Double Summpon to showcase their two Classes, which I thought was necessary to show they they were both Binder and Caster (As in, both of them were the same class), Combination was meant to show the general state of their Spirit Origin (and I stole it from the Yuri Pirates), Affection of the Demon God was a rehashed Divine Affection Skill I yoinked from mats, WISDOM of the Demon God was something from Queen of Sheba I just thought fit Asmodeus given her origins and pointed to her...eloquency? Hersharp wit in general? Something like that, and Human Observation was her actual 'good at reading people' Skill.

And all done while I was seeing floating dots at, like, 5AM. I cook at late nights, but sometimes the things I cook are cringe.

    Caster of Seraphic Love

    The Christian Virtuoso

    Class: Caster
    Name: Robert Boyle
Place of Origin: England (17th century)

    Description:

    Alignmnet: Lawful Good
    Likes: God, science
Dislikes: conflict, atheism, plagiarism, unintelligible texts
    Talents: experimenting, non-offenciveness
    Natural Enemy: Thomas Hobbes
    Alternate classes: Ruler

Robert Boyle was an English scientist, theologian and alchemist.
He started as a theological-ethical writer, yet then shifted to scientific experimentation. He discovered, among other things, the relationship between pressure and volume of a gas and disproved the theory of classical elements. His accomplishments as a magus were, despite great innate talent, less impressive: due to his scruples about anything that could possibly be "sinful" or "demonic" he failed to make the philosopher's stone, albeit coming close.
Boyle is suplemely devoted to God, considering a scientist to be like a priest, learning His revelations in nature; and constantly worriyng whether his actions are sinful. He is willing to attempt to understand anyone without prejudice, and tries to minimise any conflicts, avoiding making enemies out of opponents. He is, in fact, so accommodating, that he managed to satisfy high society and Mages' Association while maintaining a highest level of morality and intellectual activity.
Boyle believes that anything that was demonstrated exists, no matter how unreasonable — after all, God made the world according to His will, not human reason. In this he differs from modern scientists, who deny the possibility of anything contradicting their laws. He finds progress since his time wonderful, yet the decline of religion and Mystery disquieting.

    Parameters:

    STR: E
    END: E
    AGI: D
    MGI: A
    LCK: B
    NP: A

    Skills:

    Class Skills:

    Item Construction: A
The Skill to manufacture magical items, from implements of war to items for daily use. Caster is able to create chemical and alchemical items, like particularia effecting limited transmutation, spagyric preparations (purified and refined substances) or white phosphorus; as well as medicine, which he would freely give to those needing it.

    Territory Creation: B
the Skill needed to build a special terrain that is advantageous to oneself as a magus, such as for the purpose of collecting mana, creating magical objects, or performing other tasks. At this rank, creation of a Workshop is possible.

    Personal Skills:

    Weak Constitution: A
A weakness struck by the nature of frail health. Caster suffered from various illnesses during his life. His eyesight is permanently damaged, and there's constantly a chance of a status drop.

    Pioneer of the Stars: EX
The unique Skill given to heroes that became turning points in human history. All difficult voyages and challenges which are considered "impossible" turn into "events that can be realized". Caster was the first modern chemist and one of the founders of modern science.

    Mental Pollution (Scrupulosity): D+
A Skill where due to possessing a distorted mentality, it is possible for one to shut out any mental interference thaumaturgy. Caster's obsessive doubts about morality of his actions — he can usually function like an ordinary person, but the most unexpected things can be found sinful — do protect him from actual evil.

    Experimental Method: A
Every time any phenomena is observed in action, there's a chance (usually several, and sometimes dozens, attempts are requred for full understanding) of learning something about it. The more controlled the conditions, the greater the knowledge obtained, although knowledge of causes is beyond this Skill.
Caster gathered a massive amount of facts through repeated experimentation while rarely turning them into theories.

    Noble Phantasm:

    Turning gold to lead
    Anti-Elixir

    Rank: A
    Type: Anti-Unit

The opposite of a philosopher's stone. Although it was a real object described by Boyle, it is also partially a crystallisation of the idea that Boyle supposedly struck a fatal blow to alchemy and replaced it with scientific chemistry.
The Anti-Elixir, which takes the form of a powder, inverts the properties traditionally attributed to the philosopher's stone: it transmutes noble metals into base, which corresponds to degrading Mystic Codes to nothing and lowering rank of material Noble Phantasms by one; and also is an extremely potent poison: besides dealing damage, targets that fail an Endurance check will have their statistics reduced.
Caster's actual capability to apply it is rather limited, though.

    Relationships:

His Master: Boyle would try to get along with any but the most wicked Masters… but if they want him to fight for a wish from a dubious source (what if there's a devil inside?), even Command Seals can only do so much.

Isaac Newton (Baron Magnus): "Did my red earth prove useful? ...Whence you got the idea to ingest it?...Let's move past matters of magecraft. Maybe an intercouse on theology would be more productive?"
With their many similarities, it's logical that they became friends. Newton's attitude towards Boyle's alchemy was puzzling at the time, but he learned such behaviour is now well-understood and is called tsundere; genderbending is also a phemomenon worthy of study.

Roberta Hooke (BnEl15): "Yes, your help would be appreciated. Sorry for not aiding you more."
A dear friend. Boyle considered Hooke his equal since the time she was his lab assistant, when she helped him understand Euclides and Descartes. He promoted her work as much as he could, though his health was poor enough without intervening into her conflict with Newton.

Thomas Hobbes (4score7years): "So what do you say about science now?"
The two were enemies in life: Hobbes didn't believe in validity of Boyle's experimentation, but it is his atheism that Boyle really opposes.

Paracelsus von Hohenheim: "Your three principles don't seem to be real, but maybe you can explain them?"
Boyle respects Paracelsus despite criticising his chemical theories and believing magecraft should be kept secret. He would certainly consider him a great magus and a good man.

    Other Classes: Caster, Berserker, Saber
    True Name: Annowre
    Alignment: Chaotic Evil
    Place of Origin: Arthurian Myth
    Stars: 5/5

    Parameters:

    STR: B
    END: C
    AGI: C
    MGI: B
    LCK: C
    NP: A

    Height: 200cm
    Weight: 150lbs
Likes: Battles, people bowing to her
    Dislikes: People who won't bow
    Talent: Magic and tricks
    Natural Enemy: Ninue, Artoria
    Attribute: Earth
Traits: Female, Humanoid, Weak to Enuma Elish
    Armament: Rhongomiad Perilous
Catalyst: Tower roof from a tower still standing today

    Class Skills:

Magic Resistance A: Large amounts of magic resistance fitting for one who was a quite powerful mage.

    Personal Skills:

Ring of Eternal Desire C: The magical ring she placed on Artoria's hands manifested in the form of a skill. Rings of magical energy hovering towards her targets. These rings produce extremely powerful befuddlement effects and tag onto the enemy's hands until they're banished. A standard spell of hers.

High-Speed Divine Words B: The capacity to utilize powerful magical words in one's status as a powerful mage living long ago. A skill permitting access to far more powerful abilities than anything that could be produced by a modern magus today. Fitting for a powerful sorceress who lived long ago during the Arthurian age.

Mandate of Endless Warfare B: The curse she placed on Artoria forcing her to constantly battle soldiers in the forest every day. A curse placed upon a target by touch, provoking rage and an urge to battle, even if it wouldn't be something the person would normally do. However, it's not a full-fledged command, just a compulsion.

    Noble Phantasm(s):

    Rhongomiad Perilous
Light And Dark Must Always Exist

    Type: Anti-Fortress
    Rank: A
    Range: 100 meters
    Max Targets: 1000

Her famous tower, which was said to never be able to fall until the world itself colllapsed. In other words, a World Pillar. It manifests as a huge spear more than 10 feet long, which is why she manifests as a Lancer class servant. When its true name is called, a piercing beam of darkness pierces through the "texture" of the surrounding region, dealing massive amounts of damage to anyone unlucky enough to be caught in it.

Lore: Annowre was a powerful sorceress who resided in a World Pillar in northern Wales. She met Artoria and fell deeply in love with him, but when the feelings weren't reciprocated, Annowre decided to instead murder him by cursing him to endlessly battle soldiers, and when he was finally exhausted execute him with his own sword. However, she was stopped by Ninue and several Knights of the Round just before she could kill him.

Personality: A very posessive person. If she bonds with someone, she desperately needs to be the only person they bond with, and will go to EXTREME lengths to keep it that way, up to and including using her Noble Phantasm on theh offending people preventing that. Her wish is to control King Arthur forever.

    Relationships:

Artoria: "Oh! Finally. Let's be together FOREVER AND EVER."

    Morgan: "You? Maybe??"

Arthur: "Why do you look so different, my love?"

    Suggested corrections to the index:
    1. Martin Luther to Germany from Modern Britain
    2. Collect sheets of William the Conqueror currently split between Britain and France, probably in the former.
    3. Innocentius VIII to Post-Classical Italy from Levant
    4. Clement I to Rome from Levant
    5. Dimitri Ivanovich to Slavs from Scandinavia
    6. Ermenrich to Germany and Germanic Peoples from Slavs
    7. Peter the Great in Modern Britain is actually Alfred the Great and should go to Pre-Modern Britain
    8. Charles XIII in Scandinavia is actually Charles XII (the typo remains since CaS-1 index)
    9. Roberta Hooke to Modern Britain, unless there's a reason for it not being on the index.

I've decided to get in on the meta because that's the thing to do apparently. I also plan to at some point in the near future make comments because that's fun too. When I have time. For now, enjoy these teasers.

    What is mystery?

Is it just secrets or perhaps a collection of taboos?

I believe neither nor a combination are the accurate answer.

    The real answer is simple.

It is the modernization of ancient wisdom.

    What is Alchemy?

Some believe it to be a self-betterment philosophy.

Some think it is a means to attain riches.

Some believe it to be a study of secrets themselves.

    Class SkillsMagical Resistance C
The ability to resist spells of two verses or less. As a modern Servant not steeped in the supernatural, Lafayette only possesses this Skill thanks to his Saber Class Spirit Origin.
    Riding B
The ability to ride mounts and vehicles. A Saber Class Skill. As a European officier and minor noble from the end of the 18th Century, Lafayette of course knew how to ride horses, and is often reported having rode a white horse during official ceremonies.

    Personal SkillsCharisma D
The ability to lead and inspire others. Lafayette was a controversial figure during the French Revolution, but his ability to lead his soldiers to victory, whether during the American Revolutionary War or the French Revolutionary Wars (prior to his exile) is undeniable. While he cannot lead a nation, he can support others who can.
    Military Tactics C
Tactical intuition in a battlefield in which a large number of people is mobilized, not for one versus one battles. Lafayette lead armies in battle multiple times, often to victory. As his speciality was holding a front to allow his allies to make a breakthrough, he gains a bonus when fighting defensively.
    Uphold the Constitution A
A Skill that puts restraints on oneself and one’s allies, but that rewards those that live by it. As one of those that helped write the Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen, Lafayette grants a bonus to Lawful allies and applies maluses to Chaotic enemies.

    Noble Phantasm
The Hero of the Two Worlds
    Lafayette Nous Voilà

    Rank: B
    Type: Anti-Country

Lafayette played a vital part in the United-States of America gaining their independence, through his personal support as part of the army fighting against the British forces, and through his lobbying actions to make King Louis XVI send material support to the Revolutionary forces. His contribution was such that more than two centuries later, John Pershing, commander of the American Expeditionary Forces landing in France during the First World War, is said to have exclaimed “Lafayette we are here!”
This Noble Phantasm is particularly effective against Evil enemies, as Lafayette always fought for the natural rights of the People to self-determine. It temporarily raises the parameters of his allies , and sets the stage for them to display their full potential, free from all duress.

LoreMarie-Joseph Paul Yves Roch Gilbert du Motier, Marquis de Lafayette, is one of the proeminent figures of the French Revolution, as well as an important actor of the American Revolutionary War. Commited to the idea of Freedom, he fought for the right of the people of the British colonies in Northern America to rule themselves, and then against the excesses of the French absolute monarchy.
The rise of the Jacobins after the execution of Louis XVI led to his eventual exile and imprisonment in Austria. He never agreed with Bonaparte’s empire, nor with the Bourbon Restoration, seeing them both as tyrannies trampling the rights he had fought to give the French People. Helping to overthrow Charles X in 1830, he very quickly came to oppose Louis Philippe I.
Until the very end, this man fought for Freedom.

PersonalitySteadfast and straight-forward, loyal and principled. He gave the priviledges his status as a noble granted him so that everybody could stand as equals.
When offered titles, riches, power, fame, he only accepted if those that offered upheld the same principles that he did.
While not particularly talented nor especially clever, he had a core of steel that never wavered and always stood true.
He opposed slavery in all its forms, whether the chains be made of steel or of words.

RelationshipsMarie Antoinette: Your Majesty. I regret that events led to this tragic outcome, and I will never forgice the Jacobins for what they did to France. However, you could not have kept on living the way you did, ignoring the plight of the people.
Any King Servant: If I thought that the destruction of royalty were useful for the world, I would not veer from it; for what is called the rights of a family to the throne does not exist for me.
Servants from the United States: My friends! I am extremely happy to see how much your country has grown! However, I am also saddened it took you this long to treat everyone equally. Especially slavery and your treatment of the Indigenous peoples.
Charles-Henri Sanson: Monsieur Sanson. You only did the duty your country asked of you, and obeyed the verdicts of the courts. You do not have anything to blame yourself for.
Napoléon Bonaparte: Général, you should never have seized power the way you did, nor should you have come back after the people rose against you.
Chevalier d’Éon: Your loyalty to the Crown was admirable, but it would have been better if it had been to your country instead. Still, I can find no fault in your actions.
Charlotte Corday: Mademoiselle Corday... I understand your intent, but I cannot condone murder. You should have tried to rally the people to your cause instead of acting alone.
Maximilien Robespierre: reaches for his sword

Craft EssenceDeclaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen

“Men are born and remain free and equal in rights. Social distinctions may be founded only upon the general good.”
“The principle of any sovereignty resides essentially in the Nation. No body, no individual may exercise any authority which does not proceed directly from the nation.”
“The law is the expression of the general will.”
In August 1789, the French National Constituent Assembly voted upon this text, the embodiment of the principles by which they hoped France would thrive. Lafayette played a key part in writing it, inspired by the United States Declaration of Independence.
It is his proudest achievement, and the memory of his comrades in the Constituent is one he will always treasure.

NotesWell, there you go. I expanded upon what had started as a challenge by a friend to stat Lafayette as free from bias as possible. Of course that's impossible but I still gave it a try. That was also a good excuse to mess around with formatting options in preparations for future stuff. As is usual, any feedback is very much welcome.

    Lafayette:

As someone with a clear French Revolution bias, looking at my multiple Louis XVI sheets.... I approve of this.
It isn't a very detailed sheet, so I can't say too much about it.

Well, speaking of French Revolution bias... The only reason I am not planning on making a Ruler Robespierre is because there are already quite a few. And I've got other ideas I want to go through first. But I may do a Camille Desmoulins or a Thomas-Alexandre Dumas down the line...

It's not very detailed indeed, it's mostly me expanding on what was a purely "parameters + skills names + NP" profile. And, as I said, trying out the formatting options.

When I was born, the World Holy Grail War was already raging.

My country was reduced to dust by a single Servant.
My father, my mother, my brother...
    They all died.

    .
    .
    .

With a rifle in hand, I tremble.
Will I also meet the same fate as them?

    Will I die?

"Human, we need to get out of here."

Lifting my eyes, I see the young woman with cat ears.
As usual, she exudes a certain aloofness.

    "..."

    Then she takes my hand.

    "?!"

    It was warm.
Without saying a word, she began walking.
I could feel that her hand was a little hesitant, unsure, but still warm.
    It reassured me a little.

    "Where are we going?"

She replies while continuing to move forward.

    "Toward the future."

Her gaze was fixed on the horizon.

    CLASS SKILLS

    INDEPENDANT NAVIGATION: D

Independant Navigation is the Voyager’s Class Skill equivalent to Independant Action.

Voyager is not a great adventurer, she hasn't explored the globe or travelled immense distances. She's just a cat who made it through the Second World War. From boat to boat, she owes her journey to herself. Surviving this voyage, this hell, is down to her own survival skills....
"No. I was well looked after on the ships. You also have to thank all the crew."
In the end, a journey never really happens on its own. Voyager never forgets that. Every person you meet is an important step in reaching your destination.

    PERSONAL SKILLS

    SHIP'S CAT: E

The Ship's Cat is a cat whose job it is to eliminate rats on board a ship, but also to act as a companion for sailors and bring good luck to the crew, protecting them from storms.

Voyager is a very bad ship's cat, as every ship she has worked on has ended up sinking. She's lucky, of course, but her luck doesn't extend to her comrades, much to her regret. No one ever blamed her for the destruction of the ships, but she still wishes she could have been a little more helpful.

"Have you heard the story? Apparently in some cultures cats bring bad luck."

However she is skilled at vermin disposal and emotional support. Although she is a little cold and aloof in her demeanour (like any cat), her presence helps to support the Master in difficult times.

"Hm? No need to thank me, all I do is sleep all day long."

    FIREPOWER SUPPORT (CANNON): C-

Firepower Support (Cannon) is a powerful ranged attack that is used to support tactical operations. Here, the Skill is much more effective when it comes to a naval battle.

In Voyager's case, she has powerful naval artillery at her disposal, a multitude of guns from the Bismarck as well as HMS Cossack and HMS Ark Royal. The very best the Germans and the British had to offer during the Second World War! Using magical energy, she can launch both shells and torpedoes designed to sink ships.

Although she never actually fought in the last Great War, Voyager is no stranger to naval operations either. Having observed some excellent commanders and a multitude of battles during her early life, she is able to re-use these observations now that she is a Servant. Nevertheless, it is true that she may make a few mistakes from time to time.

"I-it's because of these hands! The fingers are so long... it's totally different from my paws! But anyway... I understand better how Otto did it now. Yes... these weapons were designed to be used by humans, now it's clear."

A Skill obtained thanks to her Noble Phantasm Voyager of the War.

    FRIEND OF BOTH WORLDS: C

Friend of Both Worlds is a skill given to individuals who have sympathised with opposing forces. Even when faced with two sworn enemies, the Servant is able to build solid relationships with both parties simultaneously without stirring up doubt or hatred. The effects of this ability are similar to Espionage, nullifying any suspicions a target might have. However, in reality, this is not a skill designed to deceive someone but to genuinely sympathise. If the user's intentions are bad, the skill ceases to have any effect.

Voyager was initially the navy cat of the Bismarck, a Nazi battleship. But after sinking, she was taken in by the British navy with open arms. Voyager is a cat, human politics don't concern her. When people talk to her about countries or factions, she looks curiously at her interlocutor, not really understanding the notion. Humans are humans, no matter where they come from, Voyager hangs out with anything and everything.

"As long as you’re not a rat, we can be together."

    NOBLE PHANTASM

    A Cats Nine Lives
    UNSINKABLE SAM

    Type: Anti-Unit (Personal)
    Rank: C-

Unsinkable Sam is the Noble Phantasm of the Servant of the same name. The feat of having survived the torpedoing of all the warships she was on board: the German battleship Bismarck, the British destroyer HMS Cossack and the British aircraft carrier HMS Ark Royal. It is therefore a Noble Phantasm that has a direct influence on causality to ensure Voyager's 'survival' whatever happens.

When Voyager is in a life-threatening situation, the Noble Phantasm is automatically activated to enable her to avoid an unfortunate fate. Even if the way to survive is absurd, Voyager will not die. Although this does not take allies into account.
Nevertheless, Unsinkable Sam is limited to 9 uses. A number based on the legendary nine lives that cats possess. The sailors themselves said that to survive the destruction of the three ships, Voyager had to sacrifice three of her lives. This is also why the first three uses of the Noble Phantasm are far more effective than the other five, when the chances of the Noble Phantasm failing increase.

"What happens when you lock a cat in a box with a bottle of deadly gas? What happens when you smear a cat's back with butter? What happens when you throw Gae Bolg at Unsinkable Sam? Cats are definitely full of paradoxes."

The Story of a Cat who lived through Hell
    VOYAGER OF THE WAR

    Type: Anti-Army
    Rank: B

Voyager of the War is Unsinkable Sam's second Noble Phantasm. What Voyager sees as the true crystallisation of her legend, after all there's nothing truly legendary about "surviving" according to her. Voyager's journey has taken shape in this Noble Phantasm. At its core, the nature of Voyager of the War is very similar to a Reality Marble. It is Voyager's mental world manifested in reality.

When Voyager was alive, she was powerless, she could do nothing to save anyone. But the least she could do was remember those events. Never to forget hell, never to forget those dead comrades. To preserve those precious memories and take them away from the horrors of war. This Noble Phantasm represents Unsinkable Sam's regrets, and even if she continues to move forward, she will take her past with her.

"It's not much... but it's all I can do."

With Voyager of the War she is able to manifest these memories in reality. If she had enough mana she could potentially summon the entire Bismarck. But here she's content with the armament of the battleship. She can also summon the sailors who looked after her, but they're just memories, meaning they don't actually have souls. Just as these memories manifest themselves externally, they can also manifest themselves within her own body. Transforming one's skin into armour or even becoming human is perfectly possible. That's why Voyager was summoned in the form of a human girl, she changed her existence using as a basis the memories of all the brave fighters of the Second World War.

"I won't let those bad memories just stay bad memories!"

    CRAFT ESSENCE

    Stray Cat

When I was young, I was surrounded by kind humans.
They talked to me about this and that, and cuddled me as much as I wanted!
There were plenty of them on that big floating house.
It's true, sometimes I was a little scared. There were loud noises... and the humans were always doing strange things.
    But they were kind.

    ...

    Then one day they disappeared.

    The humans.
    The house.
    They were no longer there.

Instead, there were new humans and a new house.
    They spoke a different language.
But these new humans were kind to me too.
I eventually learned to love them.

    Then they too disappeared.

    ...

    That's always what happens.
    They all disappear.

    And me... I'm still alive.

    PERSONALITY

Voyager is a cat who has travelled from ship to ship, a natural-born wanderer who can never have a place to call home for very long. If Voyager's journey is anything to go by, it's a journey through war. Behind her nonchalance and eccentricities, there is deep trauma. The constant death of her comrades was felt as a brutal and violent abandonment. She sees the world around her as something fragile that could collapse at any moment. Although she is optimistic and tries to look forward to a better future, doubt still lingers in her mind.

    "I'm going to save you."

But even so, she continues her journey. Even as the people around her continue to disappear, she moves forward in the hope of saving even one life. Partly because she has an impostor complex, but also because she genuinely loves humanity. She couldn't care less that men are at war, all she knows is that there are generous people everywhere she goes, and Voyager wants them to live another day.

Voyager insists on preserving and protecting what is dear to her. She takes everything with her when she travels. Her friends, her memories... she hopes to take them to a world where war no longer exists.

Aside from these strong convictions, Voyager is calm, quiet and doesn't show her emotions, sometimes appearing a little haughty. But when you get to know her better, she's friendly and warm.

There's no need to look any further, she may have acquired a human body and intellect, but she's still a cat.

    "Meow."

    RELATIONSHIPS

    Assassin of Filth
"I knew it, I always knew it. I've never been a hero. All I am... is–"

Whereas Voyager continues to move forward out of hope, Assassin is quite the opposite. The man with the miserable smile is Voyager's worst enemy. Because their goals coincide, they regularly bump into each other.

    Rider of Heaven
"Him? He seems very different from me. In the sense that he’s very human! Instead of trying to find a world without war like me, he rushes into war again and again. I can’t say I really understand humanity… Isn’t war horrible?"

    Pukjinskwes
    “W-Woah! Big cat!”

    The Champawat Tiger
    “Aaaaah! A-ANOTHER BIG CAT!”

    Barbara G. Nyalker
    “Yay! Small cat!”

    Tom & Jerry
“I feel kinship… the rats, they never stop coming! Always coming back, again and again and again! Don’t worry Mister Cat, we can team up! I’m quite skilled at mouse-hunting! Huh? What do you mean he’s a wolf?”

    The Mary Celeste
“We are similar. Memories who can change their shape to become human. But… it’s probably a better idea for me to stay away from him.”

    Daikokuten
    “Rats?! WHERE?!”

    Unsinkable Sam (WhiteFrenzy)
“She reminds me of myself... hmm? She's me? I don't really understand. But it must be nice to be her, huh? She... she seems to represent something a bit happier than me. Or maybe that's just what she wants us to see? I feel a contradiction in her existence… Mmmmmh... too complicated! I still don't understand, but I hope we can be friends!”

Prelude for the Asassin of Filth
    TEASER

Everyone knows that cats bring bad luck
    Chapter 1

The smell of the sea... the sensation of floating on the water.

    It was all so nostalgic.

    "Are you alright, Sam?"

I turn towards the voice to see Assassin.

    As usual, he smiles.

"I just hope the journey goes smoothly."

Perhaps to reassure me, Assassin puts his hand on my head to stroke it.

    It hurts.

His simple touch begins to disintegrate my scalp, and in a moment of panic, I lash out with a sudden kick, ejecting his body which begins to roll on the ground until violently colliding with the wall.
With the impact, the man started coughing blood. He struggled to regain his footing. "A-Are you okay?!" I stammered, rushing to his side

I didn't mean to hurt him that much.
In fact, I didn't think I could with my E-rank strength.

"You know your hand degrades everything it touches... you hurt me."

With a smile on his lips, he raises his head.

"Ha ha... I just wanted to reassure you."

It's Assassin who made this journey possible by repairing the ship's engine. It's hard to blame him when he's done so much for us.

"Just talk to me if you want to reassure me! I do prefer caresses usually, but I'll make an exception for you..."

    "Aaah... let's do that then."

    I nod.

"You're worried, aren't you?", he asked softly, his gaze looking through my very being.

"Three ships have already sunk in my presence. I'm afraid it will happen again."

    "Three times?"

    ...

"The way I see it, don't you think it's your fault?"

    I freeze.

"Every time you were on a ship, it sank. I see it as proof that your presence led to the loss of all the sailors."

    My body starts to tremble.
It's not like I've never thought about it.
    But I always looked away.
Assassin confronts me with this reality.

"But that's why you don't have to worry, Sam.” he continued, his tone gentle yet resolute. “You already know how it's going to end... you have nothing left to lose."

Everyone knows that cats don't mix well with water
    Chapter 2

    The ship was sinking.

I watched in horror as the boat burst into flames and slowly sank into the water.
All the humans were being massacred by the sudden arrival of Servants.
I could no longer feel my Master's magical energy, which means that...

    "Once again, we have failed."

    Turning around, I see Assassin.
    My heart fills with despair.

"It seems like my engine was defective" he admitted, his voice heavy with regret.

At the most crucial moment, it had exploded, sealing the fate of the ship.

"And that I attracted some very problematic people here..."

The Servants had apparently came to kill Assassin after he had freed the homunculi supposed to serve as fuel for them.

    "I-It's... it's your fault."

    Calmly, he responds to me.

"I wanted to fix this boat. I wanted to take you to a place where war doesn't exist. I wanted to save the world."

    He smiled faintly.

    "I have failed."

With those words, his body was pierced by a hail of arrows fired by an unknown Archer.

    I was not spared.

With my heart destroyed, I plummeted into the unforgiving depths of the ocean.
    It was all my fault.
It had always been my fault.
Once again, I have caused the death of all my friends.

My soul returns to the Throne of Heroes, and once again, I am left alone.

Everyone knows that cats have multiple lives
    Epilogue

The mutilated body of Assassin lies on the ground.
In a few moments, his body will disappear from this world.
With a smile on his face, he utters his last words:

"Don't worry, Sam. There'll always be... next time."
