Problem with Gunha is he is too aloof. It would be better if he was more apart of the cast, I mean Frenda seems to have more cast relevancy, and she has been dead for over 20 volumes.
Problem with including Gunha being in the main cast more is that people will want an explanation for his inexplicable abilities, and part of the fun of his character is how his powers make no sense to anyone.

As Kamachi notes, it is strange that, for all that Touma always end up there (and now Mikoto for the first time), the hospital has never been used as the setting of a story until now.

Just from the pic alone, this seems to be the return of Kanzaki and Stiyl after being left as tertiary characters for multiple volumes.
Also machine translation of some stuff:
*The huge plane is Logistics Hornet - A total of 12 huge aerial spacecraft launch pads owned by Jistix Hornet R & C Occultics. By using a built-in mass driver to eject a cargo container received from the ground with a balloon or a small aircraft to the outside of the atmosphere where there is no air resistance, cargo can be delivered within 20 minutes to any region on the earth. *USA and UK are doing a joint attack on R&C Occultics, since they're likely behind the disappearance of everyone in LA. So they sent for Index and Touma.
