What do you want the 2025 collab to be

It's time for the yearly topic. What do you want the collab to be?

Last year surprised everyone by having two (three if you count OC3). This year will be the release of the fate strange fake anime. Every servant from FSF is amazing. I want them all.

So it's a sure thing this will be its year. But I don't think the collab will be until after the anime finishes airing. That means I think it will not be the event in golden week.

So this year I have three questions.

1. Do you think there will be one collab or two. And if there is a second collab what will it be?
2. When do you think the strange fake collab will be? Golden week or another time
3. Would you be ok with the strange fake collab happening in place of the swimsuit event?
(some clarification here, This means the big event that adds 7+ servants is the FSF event. A smaller scale summer event is still possible.)

my answers

1. I think there will be two collabs. First one will be Fate: Lost Einherjar. Second one will be strange fake
2. I think strange fake will not be during golden week. I don't think Narita wants the event to start before season 1 of the anime finishes airing. Golden week will be Lost Einherjar.
3. I don't want there to be a big summer event this year. I'd rather have the strange fake event in its place. If it did this they could add many more servants during the course of the event.

Finally some predictions for what servants the strange fake event gives us.

Note I made this list assuming that the strange fake anime only goes to volume 6. Any servants that don't have their true name reveled by then don't make the cut. That unfortunantly includes Sigma. I want there to be an entire event around Sigma and Watcher, Ishtar and Huwawa someday.

1. I don't think there are too many collabs left that Nasu is interested in doing himself before the end. It's going to be 1 collab unless Red Garden somehow comes early enough.

I don’t think there will be two collabs, it’s obvious the original plan was for purely Mahoyo to be the collab of 2024 with Sam Rem being mandated by higher ups for marketing purposes. As of right now the only things happening in 2025 are the Mahoyo movie (maybe, and even if it was we already had the collab), Hollow (Really hard to do a collab for at this point), and Strange Fake (the most likely option imo).

Strange fake seems like the safe bet personally, it’s relevant, Narita is about to wrap up the story, and he’s a fan of FGO to our knowledge. The only thing would be if he’d be OK to write the Collab scenario right after his big final volume.

Another options are Prototype as always just to wrap up Beast VI/G. Besides that, Tsukihime is something that will happen one day but we need to wait for Red Garden first, and if it does get announced on New Years it’s probably Summer at the earliest. And that’s assuming you haven’t already given into doomer mentality and think Red Garden is 5 years off. Nasu talked about doing Carnival Phantasm one day but it would be kinda random at this point in time. There’s Lost Einherjar but there’s no Volume to promote rn so probably not.

I can only really see SF fitting right now, baring any goofy options like Ritsuka doesn’t understand.

Anyways, my worthless two cents:

1. I want to say at least two given there were four this year but I don't see anything other than SF getting one because there's no way the Tsuki collab happens before Red Garden and there is no way Red Garden comes out next year (see you at the New Year's stream so I can eat my words).

2. Golden Week. There's no reason for it to happen at any other time. There's also no way SF's final volume comes out before that and I honestly doubt it'll even come before the end of part 2 in 2025 (lol). Especially since Narita will absolutely waste time writing the collab.

3. Get real they won't skip swimsuit waifus over more Servants from one spin-off.

Two things I didn't put in my first post.
Just because they replace the swimsuit event doesn't mean we don't get one it's just not a giga huge event like it normally is.

My idea is a smaller swimsuit event like having it be as big as the most recent van Goah event

Also the hopium thing is what you guys would have said if I predicted a there would be a FSR and mahoyo.

Even if the FSF collab happens after the LN is completed, I don't think the collab will spoil the whole dang thing, because that's a bit too soon by any stretch. Therefore, it actually doesn't matter if the collab is January or Golden Week. January makes the most sense because it'll align with anime promotion.
