Winter 2025 Anime: Things other than /strange Fake are also happening

I am liking Ave Mujica (it has the right amount of stupid melodrama for me) but I didn't like Mygo and when I said that, a bunch of people acted personally disappointed in me in a way that made me feel like I had committed some horrible social faux pas by not liking an anime. Why am I getting scolded in DMs for thinking Tomori is boring. Is this what gacha waifus do to people. It's scary.

People are very passionate about this part of the franchise for some reason. It’s why I’m limiting myself to condemning the blanket statement against fans and don’t want to discuss the show itself.

I haven’t said you deserve death. But the blanket statement does deserve condemnation. I don’t like the idea that statements like that can be made without consequence. When the moment I dare bring that same energy to critics, I get condemned. So retribution and also calling out double standards and hypocrisy. If fans are expected to be respectful to critics, critics should be expected to be reapectful to fans. This is less “murdering someone in revenge” and more “person 1 throws insult” “person 2 insults back”

I've run into a similar sentiment in Love Live, where people love the Sunshine cast to death, but I always felt like they were a bit too much of a rehash of the OG group.

Quite decent. Production isn't great, but the stars here are the characters and how Ushimura handles each problem he's tasked with solving. Ushimura himself is a decent MC and has some great development through the season.

If it makes you feel better every so often a girl drawn in a jarringly different artstyle will show up as like a waitress or something and one of the characters will go "Wow I can't believe it! It's Glup Shitto from Pastel Palettes!" and the girl will go "Hi! Good luck with your band!" and exit the scene

Great show. Characters are great. I love how the references are used, and the narrative is amazing. I love it

Hana wa Saku, Shura no Gotoku
Really good. The production was great, characters and drama were very good. I also liked the performances by the seiyuus. They did a good job given the show's focus

Amagami-san Chi no Enmusubi
Good show. The romance was well done and girls and MC are great. Love how the mystic aspects were integrated to develop the girls and their relationships with Uryuu. The last arc with Shirahi was something else

Blue Exorcist: The Blue Night Saga Episode 7-8: What I typed up before for episode 7 got deleted.
As I said before, the Blue Night has begun. The day that Rin and Yukio were born and the day that Satan lost his vessel and went from body to body to various holy people. It wasn't that he was trying to attack them specifically, he just wanted a strong body and the exorcists that fight demons are strong.

Rin and Yukio as babies were so cute. After getting his demon heart sealed, baby Rin lying on the ground crying and moving his arms around was just adorable.

Still cool as hell. I love all the new characters introduced and the lore drops. Makes me wanna know about the true hero that defeated Shiki and how it happened. Also the tourney. Need S3

Re:Zero Season 3
Excellent season. I love seeing the extended cast again and there's lots of great development and drama. It looks great too. Super hyped for season 4

Dr Stone Science Future part 1
Cool season. The conflict with the US people was super compelling and I look foward to the next part to see how they deal with Stanley for good

Bang Dream Ave Mujica

Masterpiece. I love all the characters, presentation, music and drama. This is my kind of show. MyGo was great and this was even better. The incest ship is the cherry on top. Hyped for that announced sequel

Aquarion Myth of Emotions
The shorter episode count hurts. It's definitely messy, but like all Aquarions, still lots of fun with a fun cast of characters. I love the art style, specially for the fights. Felt very colorful and fun

Momentary Lily
It was fun. The cooking segments felt forced, but otherwise, the story was decent, characters were fun, I loved the fanservice episode and also I'm one of the weirdos who loves GoHands art and animation.

Akuyaku Reijou Tensei Ojisan
This was a lot of fun. Kenzaburo's a great MC and I love the subplot with his family. The rest of the cast are great too. Hoping for an S2, because I want answers to some misteries from the final few episodes

Trillion Game
Great show. I love seeing the company's growth. And Haru and Gaku are a great lead duo. Loved Gaku's development and Haru's constant bullshitting and plan

Fun fights. The best part is the cast, specially Alina and Rie Takahashi's performance as her. I also like Jade and his relationship with Alina. She makes for a good tsundere.

Farmagia
Quite basic, but I had fun. I love the designs, and the fights were better than I expected from the trailers, without much CG. The bosses' monster forms, and unite blitzs and fusions are all 2D

Welcome to Japan, Ms Elf
This was super adorable. Kazuhiro and Marie are great and I love seeing their relationship. Super adorable. Wridra is also a great character

Blue Exorcist: The Blue Night Saga Episode 9: The little girl at the start of this story did not deserve to have her life end like that and I forgot about the Yeti at the end.

Very good. The performances were very well done and Inori and Tsukasa are a great lead duo with good development. Love to see how much Inori's improved. Rest of the cast are also great. Super hyped for S2

Solo Leveling S2
Nothing special, but it's fun and fights are cool. It's good at what it wants to do. Will come back for S3 whenever it happens

Mahou Tsukai Precure!! Mirai Days
Pretty good for a short sequel. As a Maho fan, this was great. A bit of a shame they didn't confirm the couple, but expected

Very good season. Pretty as always, and the drama was very on point and I like how the cast develops throught this. Looking foward to the next seaso

100 girlfriends S2
Still hilarious and great. Lots of great moments, the new girlfriends are all great and I love how the show manages to give everyone screentime still. Hope S3 happens

Sentai Red Isekai
Very great show. I love how it mixes the toku and isekai elements. So much love for tokusatsu here. Everyone working on this understood the asignment. Gimme S2

Shangri-La Frontier S2
Very good. I love Sunraku playing other games, and there's some good progress in SLF itself. Lots of cool fights with great animation and team ups. Looking foward to S3 since S2 ended up on a nasty cliffhanger.

Blue Exorcist: The Blue Night Saga Episode 10: Rick just wanted to know what happened to his friends, but he had the bad luck of meeting Lucifer and got killed.
I didn't even remember that. Now all three of the friends from the exorcist cram school at the beginning of the arc are gone.

Shiro managed to beat the Yeti, but now he has to drag Yuri's body and carry her kids through the snow...
