A lot. I don't think Koleda has anything in her kit aside from just stunning, does she? Aside from a chain attack buff for fire or belobog characters.
Meanwhile lighter increases your ice and fire damage by 75, and decreases opponent RES by 15%. if you have his W-Engine it's 30% crit damage increase.
He also has pretty great M1 and M2 if you're willing to go that far, further reducing res, stun window, stun damage multiplier and fire and ice dmg bonus

Hold up, I thought your one exception was Duryodhana?
Lighter's damage boost doesn't amount to much because he has to stay on-field significantly longer to get it. Koleda only does stuns, but she stuns the most efficiently and that's really all you need from a stunner.

How much field time do you think a DPS really needs? Soldier 11 is arguably the only DPS in the game that wants to be on the field all the time.
What Lighter are you playing anyway that actually takes field time?
Lost the 50-50 to Lycaon. Whatever the acc is new so I can still get Robin with the newbie gems later, and I'll use him for Miyabi comp.
1 Astra, 2 Ellen(3), I'll just fish for Ellen's weapon next.

Yeah, Deadly Assault gives greater points towards disorder, and disorder damage is incredible.

As much as you can possibly give them. It's the other way around, every moment you DON'T have your DPS out is a damage loss. Most of our current Attackers favor burst damage, but that's not a hard requirement.
Also, don't confuse Attacker DPS with Anomaly DPS. The former prefer offloading all their damage inside stun windows (hence why they're the only DPS played with Stunners), the latter wants to constantly be applying and re-applying their anomaly (ideally swapping/using Burnice's off-field effect to keep proccing Disorder in the process).

Lighter doesn't take a significant time to actually build elation stacks when each hit of the multipunch 5th ba counts as 1 stack.
Yes an M2 Koleda(if you have that) stuns faster but M0 Lighter isn't that far behind and the buffs he gives are significant, especially more so if you're fighting Marionette or Jane where the stun period can easily end while a character is still posing for their chain attack.

Bro have you played or watched literally anything with Lighter in it? Like I don't think you realize how much of a difference there is between these two characters. Lighter is great and Koleda doesn't get close, this is not even arguable, the gap is massive.
Piper is super fun
They moved combat subtitles to the middle of the screen, fantastic.

Yes, but none of our current Anomaly characters even care that much for Lighter. Miyabi can use him, but Miyabi is so overpowered that it's not even a necessity; her best team right now is Miyabi-Yanagi-Astra so if you're just pursuing full meta premium teams, he isn't even needed. Burnice wants to spend most of her time off-field anyways. Soldier 11 can use him and doesn't play nice with stunners that use up more than 0.1 seconds of field time, but it's also Soldier 11, a standard S-Rank. Evelyn is a burst DPS and arguably needs Astra more than she needs Lighter, he's still a benefit to her regardless. Ellen's prior best team already relied strongly on Lycaon so putting Lighter in there doesn't really change much. Characters of other elements don't benefit as much from his buffs, so you'd be better off using Qingyi or something.
Also keep in mind that once he has 80 morale (which he accumulates passively off-field as you use energy) he does his Quick Assist once he swaps in and can then instantly go into his 5th BA which accumulates Elation really really quickly so it's not even like it's that much field time to get the buffs lmao
Yes, his entire special episode where he was getting field buffs on top of his kit. He's good, but not a significant upgrade to Koleda at all. I can respect people wanting to pull for him because he's cool or because he makes their nethers tingle, but mechanically he's solidly mediocre.
