Patch Fate/Zero.5 change list:

Rider (Iskander): Now shouts louder upon using Ionian Hetaroi.

Caster (Gilles): Cooldown increased on Cthulu form ultimate, up to 220 seconds from 210.

Saber (Blue): Channel Time increased on Barrier of the Wind King from two to three seconds. Base Armor per level decreased to 10 from 12.

Gilgamesh (Gilgamesh): W now summons a spaceship in addition to triggering Gate of Babylon Passive, Gilgamesh cannot be melee attacked while W is active.

Berserker (Lancelot): Arondight no longer shoots beamu. His passive is also disabled while it's active.

Giant

A common element in many ancient culture, giants are humanoid beings of great size and strength. Categorized as Demi-Humans, they were creatures of old with a great affinity to nature. Despite not being barbaric per say, most preferred to have rustic lives away from human civilization. Representative examples include the Gigantes from Greek Mythology, the Jotunn from Norse Mythology and the Daityas from Hinduism.

Also, although they were not necessarily enemies of mankind, their great size and strength – common traits among the Phantasmal Species that were antagonistic to humans – caused people to naturally fear them. Likewise, it was not uncommon for men born with prodigious dimensions to be regarded as either giants themselves or their descendants – even if that was not actually the case.

The ability to take action even without the prana supply from the Master. Convenient in cases like when the Master wants to activate a Magecraft that calls up maximum prana or when he cannot supply enough prana to the Servant. On another hand, it becomes difficult for the Master to put the Servant under his complete control. At D Rank, it is possible to engage in battle for a short time without support of the Master. However, this is still of little help when attempting to remain in this world after losing the Master.

Innocent Monster: B
By means of the image that was born from his behavior while alive, the past and way of being has been distorted. Abilities and appearance end up being transformed. This Skill cannot be removed. The Servant was turned into a hybrid of human and Magical Beast thanks to this.

Monstrous Strength: A
The ability to temporarily amplify STR. An offensive special quality that only monsters, Magical Beasts have. STR is rise in 1 Rank by employing it. The period of continuation depends on the rank of "Monstrous Strength".

Mystic Eyes: B
Mystic Eyes of Jinx (Ayin Hara). A power of destiny interference that brings misfortune to all those within sight. To defend against it, a strong Divine Protection that negates this kind of curse is essential.

Weapons

Giant Spear
A large wooden shaft with leaf-shaped spearhead made out of bronze. Design-wise, it is exactly what one would expect from something developed roughly 3,000 years ago. However, its sheer size creates a considerable gap of performance when compared to similar weapons.

Emek HaElah – The Destined Duel
Rank: B
Type: Anti-Army
A bounded-field Noble Phantasm that prepares Berserker’s favorite battle conditions. A completely isolated space assembled for combat. The crystallization of the anecdotes of the one-on-one duel between the hero David and the giant Goliath.

Upon activation, a circular area with 100 meters of diameter centered on Berserker will be enveloped by a powerful bounded-field – thus establishing the limits of the battlefield. Other than Berserker himself, only one other combatant is allowed within this battlefield and all those outside it will become unable to intervene in what happens inside. Direct involvement is a matter of course, but even indirect interference such as the Master’s supply of prana will be cut off.

The prana consumption required for the deployment and maintenance of the bounded-field is considerably small, so the burden that its continuous use imposes on Berserker is quite insignificant. However, because Mad Enhancement has hindered Berserker’s mental capacities, activation requires an order issued with a Command Spell. Also, once deployed the bounded-field cannot be dispelled by any means until the deathmatch has reached an clear outcome.

Truly, this is a caged dome where two men enter and only one man leaves.

Background

BACKGROUND

Goliath, champion of the Philistines. The traditional archrival of the young hero David. A monstrous giant armed with sword, spear, shield and armor.

Born in Gath, legends go that Goliath was of ignoble origins. His mother – a simple commoner named Orpah – supposedly used of trickery to flee from home in order to spend a debauched life. As a consequence of her lifestyle, Goliath came into this world without being able to ascertain who his father was.

In his adulthood, Goliath joined the ranks of the Philistine army and eventually attained a position of prominence thanks to his prodigious size and strength. When the war between Israel and Philistine broke out, he was naturally chosen as the Philistines’ representative champion.

The turning point of the war came in the battle of the Valley of Elah. As it was custom during those times, Goliath would come out just before the start of the day’s hostilities to challenge the Israelites to send their own champion to meet him in combat. In other words, an one-on-one duel that would determine the outcome of the whole battle.

However, nobody would answer to his challenge.

In face of Goliath’s stature and apparent strength, all the Israelites – from the lowest foot soldier to King Saul himself – were overwhelmed with fear. Rather than face likely death at the hands of that giant, they preferred to take their chances and go for an all-out war. Regardless of the required sacrifices, chances of victory were better that way.

So, Goliath continued to fruitlessly repeat his challenge at the beginning of each day of battle. Until the 40^th day, when somebody surprisingly responded to his calls.

Still, he couldn’t help but be dumbfounded upon seeing that the one who came out of the Israelite lines was not a full-fledged warrior, but instead a young lad wearing no armor and carrying only a shepherd’s sling.

Goliath’s response was one of natural disdain. He attempted to send the boy away with words of scorn and belittlement, hoping that a proper soldier would come to take his place. However, the youth remain adamant in his resolve to fight against the giant. Since he could not back down from a challenge that he himself issued, Goliath had no choice but to grudgingly face the lad in battle.

Goliath, champion of the Philistines. A man possessing impressive size, toughened body and refined combat skills. Yet, his fate was to lose his life in that duel against the young David. What decided the outcome was not superior strength or even whimsical luck, but merely divine intervention.

Innocent Monster

Just like how David was glorified in later accounts of this legend, Goliath too was extremely vilified in order to make him a suitable rival for the future king of Israel. Symbolically speaking, if David is the embodiment of the devout worship towards God, Goliath represents the pagan beliefs that are crushed by said worship. In other words, the image of a clear evil in regards to a given ideology. Consequentially, modern views of Goliath often put him on the same light as a monster・demon.

However, said views couldn’t be more unwarranted. If observed in an objective manner, Goliath’s life can only be regarded as the story of a typical human. Bearing unprivileged conditions from birth, he strived to attain his own happiness. For the sake of that, he chose the path as a military man, just like many did in his time.

Many anecdotes describe Goliath as a vulgar individual that had no qualms against about blaspheming against God and insolently defying the armies of Israel. However, that is far from being truth. During his career as military man, he never did any more or less than what was expected of a man in his position. Though he indeed belittled David prior to their duel, what motivated that was neither the prejudice of the strong towards the weak, nor any sort of religious intolerance, but simply the common sense that “a child must not poke his nose into the affairs of adults”.

Not a monster or an evil demon, but rather a man who simply followed the path of a warrior. Ultimately, Goliath is just a victim of humans’ childish need to slander their enemies in order to vindicate their own righteousness. If there is a fault he is to be blamed for is merely to have entrusted his sword to the wrong master.

This is a digression, but while the Skills Mad Enhancement and Innocent Monster turned him into little more than a wild beast, his original self is quite different. If summoned under conditions closer to his true nature, displaying proper rationality, he would behave as well-educated man that holds little regards for ambiguous values like good and evil.

Perhaps the eyes should be eyes of terror instead of misfortune. Also I kind of dislike "Mad" as an alignment. It doesn't really make sense given that madness is part of the Chaos facet; but eh, it's Nasu.

I really like the way your text reads like nasuspeak, by the way. Well, it's terrible english, but it's great for autenticity.

The "+" in MGI comes in effect whenever he uses his NP. In a sense, it is a way to compensate the lack of prana supply from the Master.

From the beginning, I wanted to give him a power characteristic of the Israelite culture as a differential of sorts. While researching the Jewish tradition, I came upon the Ayin Hara (evil eye) concept and saw in there what I was looking for. The fact that official materials had already established the existence of Mystic Eyes of Jinx only made things easier for me.

I've believe I already mentioned this before, but my nasuspeak style is an unwarranted corollary of reading (and translating) too much of Nasu's texts. I'm sorry if the English seems weird, but please blame Nasu for it.

Noble Phantasms

Three Headed Monkey - D
activated by Guybrush informing the enemy that there is a three headed monkey behind them. If the enemy does not check behind them, then an actual three headed monkey will appear , the monkey itself is incredibly fast but incapable of inflicting damage ,instead it's existence is linked to a target of Guybrushes choosing, in effect this means (Upon activation ) Guybrush will pick the thing that will be providing the prauna to the monkey, making it similar to a curse.

A pirate i was meant to be - C+

Summons the spirits (Unable to attack) of a pack of tuneful rovers, who can sing in every celf, they can even reach the high notes, it's just too bad that their tone-deaf. There singing inflicts a degree of mental interference against all who hear, Guybrush can join in, in order to increase the effect.

Rapier Wit - B+ (Anti Unit)
Guybrush's sword, the physical manifestation of an ancient sword fighting method. Activatable only in melee combat. During an exchange of blows guybrush may insult his enemy with a witty jibe, unless the enemy responds with a witty retort of his own (That rhymes with guybrushes) then (By a combination of an increase is guybrushes skill and a decrease to the opponents skill) guybrush will win the exchange.This ability allows guybrush to clash with even the strongest and most skilled warriors despite his relativly low statistics. This ability is a double edged sword however, as if the enemy responds with a witty retort ,the effect of the blade will favor them instead.

I have come with a new Servant, this time based on real folk, problematic as it is given that i chose Simon Bolívar:

Class: Can be summoned as either Rider or Saber, has more advantages as Rider (he dueled a lot in his youth but most of his life was on boats and horses, living in a constant warfare state seeking to free center to south america from the european domain)

Master: Illyia.
Class: Saber.

*Note Bolívar will get a 2x rank boost if he is summoned on the American continent, given he helped to free one part and freed the other, if he is summoned in Europe he will get a penalty instead given his Decree of War to death against all the spanish inhabitants so his hatred for europe decreases all his stats by one rank so, in the American Continent his stats would be around D to B, on Europe he would be E.

E luck because despite everything he did, everything he fought all those allied with him betrayed him at one, sans a few handful people, his own servant, his friend Marshall Sucre and one of his Teachers Andrés Bello.

D Agility, Bolívar being head of a giant Army had to learn how to move fast, not caring for the conditions of the terrain where he had to go trough, this shortened the time he had to travel between places (check the general in his labyrinth to get an idea of where i am coming from)

E Magical Energy

D STR and Endurance: In life Bolívar was known for overcoming obstacles, all of them werent exactly small and only got bigger, this reached the peak when he went trough the peaks of one of the coldest mountains of the continent to ambush the Spanish army that was in the Great Colombia, the needed requisites were far and above than most creatures could ever achieve, crossing on foot the mountains quickly was considered suicidal.

Abilities:

Pure Eyes of intention and Emotion: A profound mystic experience at the hands of some unknown being altered the perception of the world to Bolívar he can see the emotions and intentions of any person, he sees a couple of color balls on the persons head, the mix of colors denotes intention and what kind it is, a murderous intention is displayed in a Crimson Color if it's from hatred the second one is also red, blue if it's against his will, yellow if it's for ambition, green if it's from envy, white if it's by contract.

Military Tactics: A (Freeing two thirds of a continent means Bolívar spent at least 3/4 of his whole life leading armies from one place to the other, his exploits were source of inspiration for multiple rebellions, discussions among experts, and general awe in how odd a couple of approaches were to the situation, for him to free the Great Colombia he ordered his men to travel trough the mountains, much like Hannibal did in his day, the other was the battle of the Lake of Maracaibo where he turned the tables on his enemies)

Pioneer of the Stars: EX Rank Simon Bolívar was at the center of a Number of Conflicts that Shaped History, he participated in a number of wars that gave birth later to numerous countries, laid the bases for some doctrines that later evolved to be the left wing doctrines of criminology (his most famous phrase Moral and Lights those are the first needs of any person are part of what said branch states that would be needed to reduce crime rates) and was the man who freed an entire continent from the European powers.

Eye of the Mind True: D Rank, living in war all his life Bolívar had to learn how to cut his loses and so in war or battle he has a degree of foresight to how the encounter will go, akin to a gut feeling, but based on experiences of when he was younger and went challenging a number of nobles to duels, those duels helped Bolívar to gain EoMt.

Noble Phantasm: The Admirable Campaign Anti Army C Rank: Similar to how Iskandar NP works however given the influences of the root this NP has been altered, instead of summoning the Army the affected person is forced back in time to the peak of Bolívar power, The admirable campaign, it's best described as the undeniable victory of Bolívar, however is affected will suffer a great damage, Only servants who have B or Above Endurance can avoid mayor wounds, the cost however is that the master must take the burden on his or her body, due that for an instant is by his command that space and time are twisted, in other words Bolívar cannot activate the NP by himself a command seal is needed in order to do so and because it is not the will of Bolivar but of the master to activate the NP the person breaking the rules must bear the burden.

The reason for the Ridiculous boost in South America is that his legend is very well preserved on most of the continent, his exploits on it keep the memory ever present, before any one jumps saying, but it's like you did with the courier, plus he is not from the age of the gods, and he is better than gilgamesh, you see unlike Gilgamesh whose legend is incomplete, and despite age, the legend of Bolívar is always kept alive by the people, the last 20 years also started a huge movement to make sure that the legend of the Libertador was kept alive, this keeps supplying the force of the legend, also the American continent is the place where Bolívar spent his whole life and thus he has the strongest connection to it, sure Bolívar exploits might only have 200 years of age, but they can only be compared to the 12 labors of Hercules and the insurrection of Spartacus in terms of difficulty.

Any critique is welcome, i am working too on the character sheet for Francisco de Miranda the Universal Citizen, and say unlike Bolívar he is more troublesome to work, given the world has acknowledged the title of Universal Citizen even in Asia he gets a rank boost of his parameters as soon as he is summoned (he can only be summoned as Saber tho)

That is my main problem nerfing him, Bolívar was a Military Juggernaut, he freed nearly 20 or so countries with the admirable campaign, his whole life was spent on wars, going from one country to the other to free it, the - items cannot be used he has the attributes but due the tampering of the root they are disabled since they cannot be classified so he only has 3 skills , Clairvoyance, military and EoMt, settler is disabled because he turned the sing post of history many times unlike say Francis Drake who turned the Signpost at discovering the American continent, and i am not kidding the poem is real from that day on Bolívar was a different man (That much is stated on the diaries of some of the soldiers, the Bolívar pre experience and post experience was a new man), also he is only good really at planning, the stats are literally useless, sans agility, i mean i doubt he can do much vs Archer, Lancer, Saber or Berserker in an one on one fight most than anything getting killed since settler is disabled he cannot escape unharmed, his low luck rating means he has a chance of miss predicting, or something going wrong, the only real Servant Bolivar could beat in a one v one is Assassin, and even then there is not a great chance of it happening, Caster more than Anything would simply curb stomp him given he has no magical resistance, even a run of the mill magi can kick his ass.

My main problem is how to nerf Bolívar, by any standards the whole Continent has high as a source of inspiration which keeps feeding the Legend and his exploits, for example there is the ALCA (BAFCC- Bolivarian Alternative for Caribbean Countries) the whole shit storm that was generated over several countries for digging his remains kept the mystery going on.

I also pointed out some flaws, military tactics are all good, but they can only be used if there is an alliance and the Master is Illya who is not really behind making alliances, EomT and Clair only allow Bolívar to survive, plan and retreat, he is unable to actually kill any servant.
