Yeah the only thing I can remember from mirai was the somewhat interesting but redundant SHIKI thing yeah. I mean yes mana is cute but it should have just been a 30 minute epilogue rather than some boring and irrelevant side plot that has no impact on any of the characters.
its not entirely irrelevant in the sense that it clears up a thing that briefly came up as an "oh, you remember that thing that never happened in the series but we're going to reference anyway?" thing from the end of 7

I happened to be in my Philosophy of Mind course when I watched it so the whole Epilogue is one big lolwtfNasu for me.
