Though I want to say again I don't think making Karl ancient aliens was really necessary, I just always expected them to crop up somewhere in this game after the first one

I like Charlemagne and Karl being different aspects of the same Heroic Spirit, not as interesting as one being fictional while the other is real but cool nonetheless, I guess it makes sense for Fate to not do this as it seems they want to keep the ambiguity of what is real or not forever. All the Velber bullshit with Karl is incredibly disappointing though, honestly, what a mess.
I mean I like alien bullshit in Fate.
I like the Moon Cell.
I like the concept of Velber.
I even like Sefar.
I don't like Atilla being made into an OC character that has nothing to do with the real one to fit that though, and I dislike even more how it apparently ruined Karl by proxy.
