It's not a limited resource. It's doesn't require paying quartz/real money for it. It doesn't need to be farmed. It regenerates one stock every day, up to three stocks. There's no penalty when it's used.

So, what is a waste of what? I think it's wasteful to not use it when when you can and it's free.

Waiting 3 days to fully charge it is fine. What with nothing else that requires immediate full CS usage within said 3 days. Also, you could just use all 3 to NP charge for 3 turns of NP, then bring your main DD with BHG and any Servants who can boost it. Plugsuit if you feel that it's necessary.
