The event thread is for anything pertaining to the event.
Actually this brings up a good point. Do you wish for the summaries to be spoiler-enclosed? I never really considered this perspective when I was making them.
I really don't mind either way. But since you're putting builds in there as well, I assume it's better to spoiler them?
That being said, imagine putting spoilers on every non-build conversation since it contains story talk. Might as well move builds back here and have that thread be a dedicated story thread if that's the case.

While in JP it's probably meant to both invoke Russian naming conventions and be a not so 'in' joke about her being a bitch, NA more or less had to pick one to go with. Besides, for the Russian thing to work they would have to establish that Koyanskaya is her forename and Tamamovitch her surname, which I'm not even sure is true.
Also, players might not pick up on the Tamamo connection if it was a part of another word rather than outright part of her name. Going by reddit a lot of people didn't recognise her the first time she showed up in Prologue.

Also also, wanna hear something funny? -(v)ich is the male patronymic suffix. She should have been Tamamovna Koyanskaya (ignoring that Tamamo isn't her daddy in any case)

No one is this dumb. The game literally stops and forces you to consider that something is up with her name. That was absolutely not a factor in their decision.

Hmm, that’s the rub though; Koyan outright denies having any love for humans at all. The Priestess also compares her to Douman, who also failed to become a Beast due to a lack of love for humans.
Though the idea that there’s someone else inside is fairly interesting; at the very least, I don’t think she’s actually Vitch of the Tamamo 9

Actually I've been meaning to ask: Shouldn't Koyanskaya have one of the "k"s in her name changed to a "c" since its supposed to be an anagram of "Yana Casko"?
India, I believe right after she guns down one of the Sacred Beasts that attacks the group after Ash’s time maneuver.

@Dragolord09 Actually, the anagram is in katakana, IIRC. The sort of anagram that wouldn’t be immediately noticeable in Latin alphabet, or spoken, but written out the way the game displays names.
She does say that, but she's full of shit imo. She talks about enjoying watching humanity constantly, is becoming the Beast of Treasuring and admires Hugh Hefner.
I don't remember any comparison between her and Douman in India though. Specially from the Priestess who never talks.
