The Queen of Magical Beasts, Gorgon. An absolute calamity that only exists to kill and consume humans. This creature is the result of what was once a violet-haired goddess: Medusa, the youngest of the Gorgon sisters that inhabited the Shapeless Isle.
This tragic monstrosity meant to destroy was born out of a desire to protect. While Medusa was an incomplete existence that aged despite her divinity, her sisters were perfect idols who retained the bodies they were given in creation. In her attempts to ward off the so-called heroes who sought these idols, Medusa continually engaged in murder, something that should not be done by a goddess such as herself. She gradually gave in to depravity and came to relish on the torture and slaughter of these men, devolving into the being who would become Gorgon after a final traumatic crime.

While aspects of the Anti-Hero Medusa close to that of this monster have manifested as Servants before, it should be impossible for her full monstrous form to be summoned.
A true monster cannot be considered a hero of humanity. They are slaughter machines completely antithetical to human society. A harmful being that poisons humanity just by being there. They don’t attack human to live, on the contrary, they live to attack humans.

This highly unusual existence is truly a mystery, for it has been summoned into a class absolutely unfit for such a beast: This is a Saber-class Servant.

    Class Skills

    Magic Resistance B+.

This skill grants protection against magical effects. At this rank, it nullifies any magecraft less than B in rank. Even if targeted by High-Thaumaturgy and Greater Rituals, it is difficult for them to be affected.

Originally a Greek goddess that turned into a monster, she possesses extremely high Magic Resistance… But is that really the reason? Why does an earth goddess such as herself receive a plus modifier against spells of the water attribute?

    Riding A+.

The ability for riding. Capable of managing even beasts with the rank of Phantasmal Beast and Divine Beast. However, this doesn't apply to dragon kin.

But how could such a beast ride anything?

    Personal Skills

    Mystic Eyes A++.

Eyes that originally function to collect visual information are instead a method to impart magical effects upon a subject.

Gorgon possesses the Mystic Eyes of Petrification, Cybele, which are Mystic Eyes of the highest order. As in her legend, those caught in her vision will be petrified. Targets possessing MGI rank B or lower are turned to stone, but even those with higher ranks will feel a stiffness spreading throughout their whole body, impeding movement.

    Independent Action C.

This is the ability to remain independent even when rejecting the Magical Energy supply from one's Master; the ability that allows for action even in the absence of the Master. At this rank, it is possible for a Servant to stay in the world for one day without a Master.

Since Gorgon is able to absorb the life energy and magical energy of living beings around her, this duration can be extended indefinitely.

    Scream of Fear A++.

A roar that brings about the instinctive fear of a living being. Bestow fear, continuous defense down, temporary large defense down, curse, and such to all enemies.

As a being of absolute calamity, drenched in the blood of humans and goddesses alike, Gorgon can inflict a deep seethed terror into anyone who approaches her, even if they are great heroes.
The reason this effect has manifested as a scream must be due to the fact that this fear is not one sided. As a tragic existence that fell into the role of a monster despite her noble intentions, Gorgon is also living in an eternal nightmare. It’s only natural that such a desperate creature would scream.

    Noble Phantasm(s)

No Noble Phantasm can be detected… and now you realize.

You’ve been seeing it all along.

And only when the monster is finally defeated, Saber can enter the stage.

Saber’s true name is Chrysaor, the legendary son of Gorgon. Or rather, her daughter. Or more accurately, her remnant.
The monster Gorgon was only completed when Medusa absorbed her sisters, but they were not the only beings she absorbed, as not even the Phantasmal Beast Pegasus was able to escape. However, these beings are immortal, and could never be truly dissolved and digested by her, leading to the moment when Gorgon was finally killed by Perseus, freeing Pegasus and… the remnant of the three sisters, a divided spirit of their immortal divinity in the form of Medusa, forever tainted by her identity as a Magical Beast.

    Lore, Wish

When she was born, the first thing she saw was her majestic brother, and the second, a hero who had managed to overcome his fear for the sake of others, despite having been manipulated into that role.
Chrysaor is a very conflicted character. She is an existence that inherited both the divine aspects of an
    earth
    fertility
goddess and a monster of the
    sea
    origin of life
, opposite concepts that have come together through the ability to birth monsters.
But having been born from the
    salvation
    killing
of Medusa, she despises the idea of her children committing the same crimes her mother indulged in.

In her effort to distance herself from her role as the Princess of Magical Beasts, she tried to take on the role of a hero, someone who eliminates hateful existences such as her mother for the sake of humanity. Through training, adventure and experience, Chrysaor did become an accomplished warrior, often dedicating many of her victories to Ares to gain the favor of a god tied to a purely human practice. Incidentally, her helmet depicts the tusks of a boar in homage to one of his sacred animals.

Never really fitting into the world of man or of monster, she still lived quite the accomplished life, even becoming the king of Iberia. It was during that period that she met a kindred soul in Callirrhoe, one of the 3000 oceanids.
Like herself, the oceanid was an existence stuck to a role. The oceanids essentially existed to give birth to the children of gods and men.
As they noticed their similarities and grew close to each other, they decided to take a gamble against destiny: to generate children. Callirrhoe wanted to give birth to the child of someone she truly loved while Chrysaor wanted to have children without relying on her innate role as a mother of monsters.

    Their wishes were not fulfilled.

They gave birth to Geryon, a monstrous giant who possessed three heads and three bodies despite being a single person. Dejected but unable to kill the child, Chrysaor sent him to the island of Erytheia to be taken care of by Eurytion, a son of Ares whom she was acquainted with, and help him care for his cattle. If he cannot help his own aggressive nature, then maybe he could at least put it to good use.

The true horror came when they had their second child, Echidna.
Birthing monsters was Chrysaor’s nature, something she should not and could not repress forever, and it seemed that the result of her repressing the role assigned to her by the Fates was retribution in the form of Echidna: the materialization of Chrysaor’s repressed functions as a monster-generator. Beautiful in appearance, but more monstrous than even her brother, every cell in Echidna’s body was designed to generate beasts.
Reminded of her mother’s terrible end and horrified by the suffering she had inadvertently forced onto her own daughter, she banished the creature to a remote cavern and dedicated herself even more to her role as a king, as if to prove she was member of human society.

Still, Chrysaor could never accept her hatred for her own kin, for her own children. She was always aware… That she was just like her kids, just like her mother. Kingship weighed on her heart with the weight of an unwanted duty. The reason she joined human society as a warrior was because she wasn’t fit for anything except killing.
It was a contradiction that she had managed to deal with so far, but that now was gradually poisoning her ideals.

Then came the news: the great hero Heracles, in one of his many adventures, had slain Geryon. Chrysaor could only imagine what kind of horrors her son must have caused to deserve it, but later learned that he was only protecting his and Eurytion’s cattle.

For the terrible crime of innocently doing his job, her son was met with one of the most painful deaths known: to be poisoned by the venomous blood of the Hydra.
This caused a shift in Chrysaor’s mentality that she carries even now as a Servant.
Why are monsters such sad existences? Tied to an unchallengeable role, condemned to be mindless beasts, or both? Why must we bestow suffering onto others and then suffer in return? Why are we meant to be killed, and not protected, by these so-called heroes? Why must me and my wife and my daughter be cursed with this destiny of generating calamities despite our desires? Does no one care? Hasn’t a single person questioned these cursed existences? Wouldn’t everyone be happier if these beasts could attain happiness in some other way too?

Now, as a Servant, Chrysaor has found an answer to her questions. If no one will save them, she will. With her desire to be a hero stronger than ever, she has vowed to fight for both man and monster so that she can attain her wish: No monster should exist.
Her wish is not to eliminate these beasts hated by human society, but to eliminate their monstrous nature, to allow them the boundless possibilities humans are blessed with so that they are finally able to find their own happiness.

    Class Skills

    Magic Resistance B+.

This skill grants protection against magical effects. At this rank, it nullifies any magecraft less than B in rank. Even if targeted by High-Thaumaturgy and Greater Rituals, it is difficult for them to be affected.

As a demi-god that fought and ruled during the age of gods, Chrysaor demonstrates a naturally high rank of Magic Resistance. Due to blessings and teaching from her wife, the oceanid Callirrhoe, she is also especially apt at defending against water spells.

    Riding A.

The ability for riding. Capable of managing even beasts with the rank of Phantasmal Beast and Divine Beast. However, this doesn't apply to dragon kin.

Saber is the twin of Pegasus and even takes the place of Bellerophon as his rider in some legends, granting her an exceptionally high rank. Furthermore, as the daughter, sister and mother of Magical Beasts, she possesses a deep understanding of their mentality, further enhancing this skill.

    Personal Skills

    Divinity A-.

This skill is the measure of whether one has Divine Spirit aptitude or not. At high levels, one is treated as a mixed race of a Divine Spirit - a demi-god.

Chrysaor is the daughter of Gorgon, or more accurately, she is the remnants of the three Gorgon sisters that became a single monster after Medusa absorbed them. As such, she should possess a Goddess Divine Core, but since she was birthed by a monster whose divinity had completely degraded, she is barely able to reach the highest level of a demi-god.

    Affection of the Goddess D.

This is a skill that denotes one being loved by a goddess. It represents the affection from his wife, Callirrhoe.

Chrysaor was married to the oceanid Callirrhoe, with whom she
    had
    manufactured
two children. Theirs was a love of two non-humans who fought against their set roles despites knowing they’d never be able to truly escape them. Due to her blessings, MGI and LUC are ranked-up.
It seems like there’s more to it than the Parameter bonuses, but these other effects are not readily apparent.

    Mana Burst (Gold) A.

This is the increase in performance caused by infusing one's weapons and body with Magical Energy and instantly expelling it. Simply put, recreating the effect of a jet burst by expending large amounts of Magical Energy.

The small number of surviving sources talking about Chrysaor have led many people to speculate and stretch the meaning of their name, “he who wields the Golden Blade”, to fit a number of extraordinary explanations such as “a warrior beloved by Ares”, “an earth divinity sporting wheat stalks”, “a boar with golden tusks” etc. Furthermore, the magical energy that courses through Chrysaor’s body is Ichor, the golden blood of the gods.
Chrysaor can utilize their blood in bursts of magical energy release that can also solidify into a variety of shapes, such as armor or swords.

    Noble Phantasm(s)

    Genesis Gorgon
    Enforced Seal • Twin's Temple
    .
    Type: Anti-Self
    Rank: A++

Despite Saber’s desires, it is absolutely impossible to separate her existence from the concept of “birthing monsters” that surrounds her from both past and future generations of the family. The strength of her willpower did prevent her from manifesting with the Noble Phantasm
    Pandemonium Téras
Prelude to the Flood of Monsters
, in which she would summon Echidna to act out her own role as the Mother of Monsters, but has instead granted her an even more aggravating treasure.
The most iconic aspect of Chrysaor’s legend is his birth, the moment when Perseus cut off the head of Gorgon, freeing the twin children of the beast. Since Saber has managed to deny that her nature be manifested through her daughter, it is instead manifested through her mother.

When Saber is summoned, it is Gorgon who appears instead. The monster will rage out and act its role as a calamity intent on killing humans until it is ultimately defeated by a hero, freeing Saber from their odious body and even summoning Pegasus if there’s enough magical energy available to do so. That is still the best-case scenario, because it’s also possible that Gorgon will immediately kill their own Master or continue their rampage until they win the war in this mindless, bestial form.

Forever unable to deny her own nature, Saber is tortured by the reality in which the only chance she has for her wish to come true is always preceded by causing destruction as a mindless monster.

Even then, her determination does not waver. She is someone who denied her own self for her entire life for the sake her ideals. As long as she exists, she’ll continue to pursue them. This is the role which she has willingly chosen for herself.

    Personality, Interactions, Bond

Others will immediately perceive Chrysaor as a mature and serious person that leaves very little room to much else. While the former is true, anyone who approaches her will notice the latter is not accurate. She welcomes jokes and other pleasantries and won’t ever try to get in the way of other people’s fun. It’s only that, depending on her position compared to the person — say, when interacting with someone who is younger or under her orders — she’ll act much like a strict mother. Her attitude will be harsh, but it’s all for your sake.
That said, there’s a deeper level to her that only those with a nature close to hers will be able to notice. The truth that this is all a façade, a personality she has built for herself by denying her crueler instincts. If there’s any moment she might let go and display her sadistic tendencies, it would be in battle, against an enemy she truly despises.
While some might think that this is something to be solved, they should refrain from stating such opinions in her presence. She is denying herself, but this denial is not a cage, it’s the exact opposite. This denial is the key to the freedom and happiness beyond the cage of monstrosity she was born in.

    Master

Despite usually displaying a mature and determined persona, she is unusually subservient and awkward around her Master.
It seems she still feels really guilty about all the trouble her Noble Phantasm caused.

    Medusa
Mother. To have the opportunity to meet and talk with her mother before her demise is a blessing she never thought she would experience.
Initially, Medusa acted like a doting mother to her, but Chrysaor has noticed her inhuman nature is still there. There was this one time she mentioned wanting to see her brother and Rider just tore her neck open right then and there. Not to mention her sadistic tendencies…
Currently, it’s like their roles are reversed. It seems like Chrysaor is the strict mother to Medusa’s rebellious teen.

    Stheno and Euryale
Mother. To have the opportunity to meet and talk with her mother before—
It seems they really don’t like talking about that, so Chrysaor has already learned the hard way that she should keep her mouth shut.

    Asterios
That he is able to live like he does as a Servant is truly heartwarming. She also fully supports Mother-Euryale, but the Archer keeps insisting she has the wrong idea.

    Theseus
Having met Asterios, she knows this is a hero she can truly admire.

    Miyamoto-no-Raikou
She considers them both to be similar, but it seems like the Berserker doesn’t share her sentiment.

    Tomoe Gozen
A dazzling existence. As someone who was able to go through her whole life as a human, without ever giving in to the oni blood trying to force her into her role, she has truly earned her respect.
Chrysaor has recently taken to gaming to try to get closer to her, but she is awful at it.

Siegfried, Sigurd, Sieg, Dr. Jekyll, Atalante (Alter)...

Those who would allow themselves to be tainted by monstrosity for the sake of others are truly heroes worthy of respect.

    Innocent Monsters

Those tragic people who were never meant to be brought over to this side. She hopes they’ll agree with her wish and work alongside her for its sake.

    Hippolyta, Penthesilea
Hey! Hi! Sorry but is there any chance you’re still in contact with your dad? It’s just that I’ve sent him a lot of offerings and I think he maybe forgot to call me back?

    Hera
Ultimately, Hera is to blame for the death of both of her children. She’s the reason for Heracles’s labours that led to Geryon’s demise and it was her champion — Argus Panoptes — who killed Echidna in the end.
Geryon was innocent while Echidna was guilty, but that changes nothing. Hera is a hypocrite who lords over heroes and monsters alike as long as they are useful to her.

She hates Hera more than anything. "To think she would claim to be the goddess of marriage and family! She, who destroys anyone on her path in the most hateful way, willing to act like a monster herself but claiming to be superior as long as she doesn’t dirty her own hands! She should be punished for her crimes! She deserves it and justice should be served!
Sometimes I think about how it would feel to embrace my fate and rain three thousand demons over Olympus. How good it would feel to tear Hera apart limb from limb! To dine on her heart as my children desecrate her corpse! Her golden ichor would be tainted by the red blood of all her followers! They are guilty as well! How dare they revere such cruelty! To revel in the suffering of my own family! Kill them all and crush their cities! Feed me their flesh so I might give birth to a million more! A legion that would—"

A blue light shines on Chrysaor's eyes. She immediately calms down.

    "Yes, yes.
    You're right Calli.
    I'm sorry...
    Thank you."

    Mutual understanding.
The only name fitting for their love.
Like a whisper, it comforts when necessary,
or reminds her of what's important.
It's a tiny spark, everlasting, hidden in the eyes of this hero,
as if to remind her of how brightly she shone to Callirhoe on that day.

Something I had on my mind ever since I saw Saint Seiya Medusa. Feels good to finally post it.
Thanks DelRey for trying to help with the image transition. Shit's hard.
There's a Collapse Tag in the Hera interaction, for those who missed it.

    Biography
    Legend
In common parlance, the wives of Henry VIII were the six queens consort wedded to Henry between 1509 and his death in 1547. However, rather than manifesting independently, it seems they've been collectively summoned under the Alter Ego class for a certain reason.

    Character
    Likes: Singing, Henry VIII (Jane)
    Dislikes: Henry VIII (everyone else)
    Talent: Dealing with domestic disputes

Due to their large number, separate entries must be dedicated for each of the queens that comprise the Servant Alter Ego.

Catherine of Aragon is the most mature-minded of the group. She also has the most street-smarts, and is the one least likely to leave an argument without having the last word. A figure capable of inspiring awe and dedication, she's not above causing a scene if it earns her more sympathy.

Anne Boleyn is generally laid back and sarcastic, and can be thoughtless with the things she says. Although she claims to dislike politics and other academic pursuits, she's actually the second best-read queen in the group.

Jane Seymour has a motherly and calming presence, making her the go-to peacemaker whenever arguments break out within the group. Don't test her patience, though, as she can be terrifying when angry. She's also an inveterate veteran who has verified the value of puns.

Anna of Cleves is that one rich friend who gets everyone else into all the exclusive clubs and gigs. Whatever her money can't buy, she gets using her unflappable confidence and charisma.

Katherine Howard is the baby of the bunch. Her tongue, sharpest of all six of them, belies a sweet and kind-hearted nature. She's also the most musically-talented out of the group.

Catherine Parr is the most level-headed and well-read of the group. On days when they aren't performing, she spends most of her time reading and writing, making her well-known amongst other writer Servants.

Despite this great disparity in character, all of them manifested with the same wish to make to the Grail: "to be able to tell my own story".

    Relationships
    Master
"Hey, Master. I kind of don't dig the BDSM vibe of 'Master'. Can we call you something else?"
"Katherine, we're Servants. We can't just call our contractor whatever we like!"
"'Manager' sounds good, but that one talent manager dude who got convicted for sexually assaulting his charges soured me on it, to be honest."
"'Contractor' carries the right connotation, but makes it sound like we do hard labor instead of sing."
"Hmm... 'Lady-in-waiting'? Nah, not gender neutral. 'Groupie'? Too stalkery. 'Magical energy-providing person'? Doesn't really roll off the tongue..."
"Guys, this is really getting out of--"
"Uuugh, can't we just stage a whole getting-to-know-each-other party so we can be on first name basis already?! Oh, wait, we can!"
"Buuut until then, we're just gonna have to call our Master 'Master', alright?"
    "Sure."
    "Sounds good to me."
    "Ugh. Whatevs."
    "'Master Master'. Pfft!"

    Arthur Tudor
    "Yo. Yooo! That's Arthur!?"
"If Catherine managed to snag a husband like that, then maybe she's not as unlucky as we thought!"
"Huh. That's weird; it feels like it's him, but also... not."
"Not gonna lie, but if a husband that hot died on me, I'd gladly mourn him in prison for, like, the rest of my life!"
"I mean, sure, he had his angles, but he was never this maddeningly attractive when we got married. Unless..."

    Henry VIII
"What the-- I've got a few words for you, you sad, sick, sadistic, son of a--"
"Whoa, whoa, whoa! Hold your horses, Anne! This is Henry from when he was younger; I don't think he's the one you wanna tear into."
"Is that really a thing? Please tell me that's not a thing that happens here."
"I mean, there's that one dragon girl and the blood-sucker she turned into when she was older, not to mention the ever-expanding catalogue of that one Romano-British king my first husband was supposed to-- Oh. Whoops. Pretend you didn't hear that last part!"
"O-Oh, wow... Is that really Henry? He's really..."
"Aaand that, queens, is the sound of Jane's bloomers hitting the floor."
    "Wha-- I-- Buh--"
"No need to explain yourself to us, babes. Go on, go get your man! Just... point him away from us, pretty please?"
"We're not gonna stop you, 'cause Heaven knows the rest of us have had enough of Henry Tudor for several lifetimes."
"Well, I mean, if you're sure, then... loveyouguysbyeee!"
    Class Skills
    Territory Creation: C
The Skill to build a special terrain that is advantageous to oneself as a magus, such as for the purpose of collecting mana. In their case, they can construct a "Stage" that further amplifies the reach of their singing voices.

    Personal Skills
    Performance Repetition: B
Skill to repeatedly perform on stage without any loss in quality. Composed of Battle Continuation, Disengage, and select other Skills, it also allows the bearer to display these Skills at one rank lower. An indispensable ability for professional performers.

In the queens' words: "Once we're done, we'll start again like it's the Renaissance!"

    Tanto Monta-Style Singing: A
An id_es derived from Siren Song. A fascination-type Skill possessed by those with a natural constitution of having a beautiful voice; it is also a declaration of the exercise of power by the royalty. In this case, due to the example given by the parents of Catherine of Aragon and the humanist works of Catherine Parr, it also acquired the healing properties of the Royal Touch.

Incidentally, the name of this Skill is derived from "Tanto monta, monta tanto" (As much as the one is worth, so too is the other), the motto of Catherine of Aragon's parents, Ferdinand II and Isabella I, which indicated their standing as co-monarchs within their realm.

    Bewitching Body: D
An id_es derived from Consort of Devastating Beauty. Perfect physical voluptuousness that borders on the demonic, it charms all onlookers and prevents the figure from changing no matter how many calories are absorbed. Acquired from the shared anecdotes/rumors of the first cousins Anne Boleyn and Katherine Howard having led upstanding men astray with their good looks, as well as the accusations of witchcraft levelled against the former. That said, this Skill is mostly sealed away, and is only used to get the crowd dancing during their concerts.

    Affection of the Rose: B
An id_es derived from Golden Rule. A concrete representation of having earned the affections of Henry VIII Tudor, a tempestuous king who freely loved whom we willed and spent money wherever he liked. Derived from the anecdotes of Jane Seymour being the queen that Henry truly loved ("Rude!"), as well as that of Anna of Cleves receiving large stipends from the English crown after her engagement with Henry fell through. It applies a plus-correction to all parameters except Luck, and allows the bearer to freely acquire wealth, which is increased the more male and king-type beings are in the area.

    Noble Phantasm
Six of A Kind: Five More Minutes of Glory
    Rank: A
    Type: Anti-Revisionism Noble Phantasm
    Range: 5-55
    Max targets: 14471 people

When one thinks of Henry VIII, the first thing that comes to mind isn't his extensive continental campaigns, or his religious "reforms". It's "King Henry VIII had six wives". Put another way, it is Catherine of Aragon, Anne Boleyn, Jane Seymour, Anna of Cleves, Katherine Howard, and Catherine Parr who form the foundation of Henry VIII's most famous legends.

A performance-type Noble Phantasm that can only be used when all six members of Alter Ego are present. By turning their relationship with Henry VIII back onto themselves, their shared experiences of "being Henry VIII's wife" become the foundation upon which they can "tell my own story".

These six women-- no, six queens-- have joined hands to sing aloud their stories.
The more they sing, the more their paths diverge from that of the man they all called "husband".
The more they become free, the more they can sing.

A truly royal performance that enriches Idol Group SIX's Force of Providence. Because they're unleashing the full power of their singing voices, it also counts as an exercise of power by the monarchy, bestowing debuff clear and health regeneration buffs to allies, and defense debuffs to male and king-type enemies.

    • If the YouTube links haven't clued you in yet, Henry VIII's wives singing pop songs about how royally he screwed them over is an actual thing.
    • I fully admit that this sheet is dumb and doesn't really know what it's going for, but that's what happens when you make something as a means of putting off doing a bigger something. In my defense, this sheet does accomplish the job of being a teaser for the bigger something by being kinda-sorta-germane to that, so the net effort isn't wasted (I think). Anyway.

    THE ACTUAL TEASER

Turmoil has the Sapphire Galaxy within its iron clutches following the near-total annihilation of the existences known as "Sabers". It is a time of lawlessness, where Lancers proliferate and mercilessly slaughter Archers for their amusement. In this turbulent era, a lone bounty hunter knight-errant makes his way toward his quarry and, unknowingly, his destiny.

    That warrior's name is--

The Six: Great work. You did very well with this particular sheet and I love how you color coded each of them subtly. What I like most however is your little teaser at the end. I'll stay tuned.

Yamato: Might as well comment on these too. This and gorgon. This first thought because holy emiya is a faker this is great work. Seriously. Good job. I can tell you love ships between this and the enterprise. The amount of work put into the personality and skill sets of each is great. Good job.

Genesis Gorgon: Excellent job. Seriously. A very unique take on the medusa story and that reveal. your skill in unique takes and ideas and executing them shines through. Wunderbar.

Saber: I wondered when you release that project. It is so long ago I am not even sure if you used my version or not. But cool stuff.
Tho Divinity skill has the Riding description and a bit later the I and Ruby code overlap

Alter-Ego: NC with his wacky, yet funny ideas that still work nicely. what else is new? looking forward to the saber wars story. There is a slight increase in servantverse characters lately. good, very goof.

    Saber of Bygone Heroism
    -- The Jester's Fervent Wish --

"Servant Saber, Penthesilea, Queen of the Ama- eh? You've already got a Penthesilea here? Hmm... can I be Hippolyta then? No? Um... Otrera? Is that one taken too? No? But you're not buying that one either? Aww, fine. Mathurine de Vallois, Court Jester of Henry IV of France, at your service. No idea why you'd summon a fool like me while the fate of the world is hanging by a thread, but I suppose it can't be helped. If you're gracious enough to grant me this second chance, allow me to pledge my blade to your cause."

"Something more contemporary, eh? Not bad, I quite like this armor. Makes me feel like I'm something more than a mere fool dancing for their amusement. I suppose I'll take things a bit more seriously and start focusing on what really matters. That's right; your trusty knight, Mathurine la Vigoreux (Mathurine the Stalwart) is ready to serve you with even greater resolve! ...Ufufu, yes, that name has a nice ring to it. I'll be sure to treasure it."

"Ever since I was a young girl, I've always been a fan of fairytales and old legends. I imagined myself playing not as the damsel in distress, but as the gallant knight in shining armor, or the fierce warrior riding courageously to battle to protect all they hold dear. It was a childish, foolish dream; the age of heroes had long passed by the time I came into being, replaced by political assassinations and court intrigue. Even so, if these dreams could bring laughter to those plagued with despair and anxiety... Playing the fool was the least I could do."

    Class: Saber
    Other Classes: Faker

    True Name: Mathurine de Vallois
    Alignment: Chaotic Good
    Origin: France (16th century)

    Parameters:

    STR: D
    END: C
    AGI: B
    MGI: D
    LCK: B
    NP: D

Likes: Entertaining others, tales of heroism, old myths and legends
    Dislikes: Religious conflicts, assassinations, betrayal
Talent: Acting, cracking jokes, stopping assassination attempts(?)
Natural Enemy: Henry IV of France, Jean Châtel
    Armament: Sword, shield
Catalyst: A signed letter detailing her exploits

    Class Skills
    Riding (D)

A Class Skill denoting the ability to ride mounts and vehicles. One can decently manage beasts and vehicles if they have received the proper training and adjustments. Most vehicles and animals can be handled with above average skill. However, one cannot ride the likes of Phantasmal Species such as Monstrous Beasts. Because she lacks any anecdote of riding anything special or worth mentioning, this Skill's rank is low.

"Any hero worth their salt should be accompanied by a noble steed of their own! ...or so I'd like to say, based on those old stories I read about. I don't think I have anything like that, though. I'm decent enough at handling horses, but I'm not sure they qualify as the 'noble steed' I have in mind. I've never even named them! Had I known something like this would happen, I should've come up with a cool name for one of them! Hmm... How does 'Henri' sound?"

    Magic Resistance (-)

Grants protection against magical effects. Differing from the Resistance effect that merely rejects Magical Energy, this ability cancels the spells altogether. As a stranger to magecraft, Saber would normally have this Skill at a low rank. However, most of its effects have been subsumed by her personal Skill, I Would Not Have Mind At All

"Magecraft, huh... Now that's an interesting topic. Had I not been known for my... usual eccentricities, would I be summoned under the Caster-Class as a jester? ...No, I don't think so. If it weren't for that one incident, I doubt I'd qualify as a Servant at all... ah, we're getting sidetracked. My apologies, but I'm not exactly known for 'resisting' magecraft, not knowing that such a thing even existed in my time. That said, I could do something different, something more fitting of an entertainer like myself, ufufu..."

    Personal Skills
    Showmanship
    Swordsmanship
    (B)

A Skill denoting mastery over swords, supposedly a natural ability of the Saber-Class that does not warrant a personal Skill... or so it may seem. At her core, Saber was not a knight, a swordswoman, nor a warrior. She was simply a court jester known for imitating them despite possessing no "true" experience with the sword. Lacking the opportunity to realize her dreams, she created an improvised sword style based on fairytales and stories she heard of proper knights and war heroes. Saber generally wields her sword defensively, prioritizing parries and using the sword as a blunt weapon rather than slashing at enemies. Others may see her style as clumsy and amateurish, yet at the same time, they will find it highly unpredictable, so much so that even experienced swordsmen would have some trouble analyzing her movements. This is due to the fact that her movements are less of an established sword technique, and more of a chaotic act that prioritizes "creating a comedic spectacle" over meticulous techniques and strategies.

"Ahaha, yes, you'll have to forgive me for that. In life, the only swords I've ever known were tree branches and stage props. I was summoned here with one of those wooden prop swords, and ascending me simply replaced wood with plastic. Then again, maybe I'm just the type who sees the glass half full, but such a thing did come with advantages. For example I could catch enemies off-guard, simply because they believe that no swordsman would make such obvious, amateurish movements without it being some elaborate feint. Such a thing should be expected, though. After all, I don't consider myself a swordsman. I'm but a simple actress, no matter how much I wished I could become a true master of the sword. Not that I'd let such a thing keep me from trying, though."

    Joking Rhetoric (B)

A variation of Silver Tongue and Proof of Friendship. A crystallization of Saber's wit, which supposedly could "laugh the Huguenots back into Catholicism". Saber's jokes carry a heavy mental interference effect that greatly reduces tensions, allowing dialogue to begin, or at the very least minimizing hostile intentions. In life, Saber used these jokes to gradually pick apart other belief systems, "converting" them back into Catholicism. At the same time, there was little to no backlash from the Huguenots; they simply did not take her seriously enough despite the growing rate of conversion, believing her actions to be "just a few harmless jokes". As a Servant, Saber has developed a few different uses for this Skill, be it as a simple distraction or to cancel out the activation of enemy Skills and Noble Phantasms by making them break out in mad fits of laughter before they could perform the action in question. A high-ranking mental fortification Skill is required to resist this effect... either that, or a complete lack of a sense of humor.

"See, in the simplest terms, humor stems from a subversion of expectations. Picture me this; two warriors standing amidst a chaotic battlefield, the fate of their respective kingdoms hanging upon their shoulders. Their bodies bruised and battered, both knew that the next strike would settle everything. The two of them prepared to draw their swords, knowing that their next move might be their last, and for a second, the world was still. Then one of them smiled wistfully, as if accepting their fate... before cracking a terrible pun. Psych, don't take everything so seriously, Master! Anyway, what do you think would happen next? Either the opponent would laugh hysterically at the absurdity of it all, or at the very least, it would create several precious seconds' worth of confusion, all because of how randomly out of the left field that pun was. That's the beauty of humor! It could end wars... for several seconds, at least!"

    Dream of Heroes Past (C)

Saber's singular dream; one of ancient heroes who fought valiantly to protect the things they held dear. Aside from her impressive feat of foiling an assassination attempt on Henry IV of France, Saber was best known for her eccentric acts of imitating ancient Amazonian warriors, complete with a shield, armor, and wooden sword. While most treated her as a simple court jester, none could dispute her dedication to her act. It was as if she briefly channeled the souls of Hippolyta and Penthesilea themselves into her body.

This Skill is a crystallization of her dream, and her insistence to achieve it despite knowing it to be an impossibility. It allows her to briefly channel the abilities of "past heroes" such as Charisma, Mana Burst, Instinct, Valor, and so on. Despite the versatile list of Skills available, these reproductions only last for a few minutes, and these reproduced Skills cannot surpass D in rank. Furthermore, compared to similar Skills such as Imperial Privilege, Expert of Many Specializations, and Librarian of Stored Knowledge, this Skill has a more expensive mana cost, as if the world simply does not recognize Saber as "a hero worthy of properly wielding these Skills".

"I take acting very seriously, y'know? What I did just now was a form of method acting, where close my eyes and try to put myself in their shoes. I visualize their struggles, their pain, their dreams, and... eh? Daydreaming? No, this is different! I'm telling you, this is a necessary training routine for any professional actress like myself!"

I Would Not Mind At All (A)

Saber was also known for her sharp wit and there were many anecdotes about it. One of them was an occasion, in which a lady in waiting complained that she did not like having a fool at her right side, upon which Saber jumped to the lady's other side and announced: “I would not mind at all". In essence, it is the conceptual ability to turn scathing remarks into jokes, and reverse the position of "attacker" and "target". Replacing the standard Magic Resistance, D-ranked or lower magecraft directed towards Saber would not only be canceled, but also reflected back into the caster. For higher-ranked magecraft, however, this Skill simply reduces the damage caused somewhat.

"From the very beginning, perhaps my dream was doomed to fail. It was a naive, pathetic dream that obstinately ignored the harsh realities of the world. It was a fool's wish, yet one that I could never part with throughout my life. With this in mind, it's only natural that they treated me as nothing more than a fool chasing the impossible. 'The Great Mathurine la Folle' (Mathurine the Fool), they say. Yes, I... I didn't mind it at all."

    Noble Phantasm(s)
Main Act - Spectacle of Fools
    Comédie Mathurinade

"All right, here we go! Come one, come all! Let us engage in the joys of combat! Of course, I doubt a mere jester with a wooden sword could hope to match your skills, but hypothetically speaking... wouldn't it be funnier if such a thing did happen despite our abyssal gap in strength?"

    Type: Anti-Unit (Self)
    Rank: D
    Range: 1-10
    Max Targets: 1 (Self)

A constantly active Noble Phantasm representing Saber's career as a comedian. It is a Noble Phantasm that does not belong to "a warrior seeking to defeat their opponent", but "a jester seeking to entertain their audience". An ability similar to a very limited version of Fortuitous Path, Satirization, and Pioneer of the Stars, it automatically activates whenever Saber is engaged in combat and allows the realization of small-scale miracles, so long as "the world deems it to be funnier that way". Enemies would somehow slip on banana peels, deadly attacks would inexplicably miss, firearms would misfire, or charged Noble Phantasms would comically sputter and run out of power at the very last second. Within a few minutes, what was supposed to be a one-sided curb-stomp battle would be transformed into Saber smacking around her opponent with her blunt wooden sword like a slapstick routine. The proc rate of these effects increase the more audiences there are to laugh at this spectacle.

Despite this Noble Phantasm's nature as a pseudo-plot armor, it still has a number of limitations. First, these effects require a few minutes to settle in, meaning that one could easily avoid it by taking out Saber in seconds, which... isn't a very difficult thing to accomplish, unless she manages to successfully stall for time using Joking Rhetoric. Secondly, Saber herself does not exert control over this Noble Phantasm, meaning she has no idea what effects it would have on the enemy, forcing her to constantly devise an impromptu act every second with a very real chance of getting herself killed if she performs the wrong action. Thirdly, this Noble Phantasm by nature is unable to inflict any serious injuries, much less death, to the enemy. After all, humor is generally antithetical to gore and life-threatening injuries. Therefore, she could never kill her enemy even if she wants no, so long as this Noble Phantasm is active. This effect is extended to anyone who tries to intervene in this performance. For example, if someone plans to snipe Saber's enemy from a distance while the two are engaged in combat, their firearm would suddenly jam, before harmlessly blowing up in their faces like in old cartoons.

Ultimately, this Noble Phantasm is effective for the purpose of creating entertainment for the audience, or utterly humiliating Saber's opponent. Maiming or killing, however, remains an impossibility for her.

Closing Act - End of the Fleeting Dream

    Rêve de Farceur

"I see, it's the closing act already... Our time together was brief, but you have my thanks, Master. Now, now, don't give me that face. I've spent my entire life making people laugh. It would be a shame if I end up making someone cry now. Besides, I figured every hero would come face to face with moments like these eventually. So laugh! Bring on the applause and cheer triumphantly as you witness Mathurine le Héros' (Mathurine the Hero) final performance! ...Send me off with a smile, would you?"

    Type: Suicide
    Rank: EX (E-A)
    Range: Varies
    Max Targets: Varies

Mathurine de Vallois was no hero. She was but a jester known for impersonating Amazonian warriors in her performances. For most of her life, there was nothing even remotely heroic about her, and despite her eccentricities, history would have most likely forgotten her if it weren't for a single heroic act she performed in her lifetime; saving King Henry IV of France from an assassin. Even then, she did not fight the assassin with her blade, nor did she alert the guards or capture the assassin with her own hands. Rather, she coincidentally just happened to stand near the door and haphazardly barred the door with her wooden blade upon hearing the King's panicked cry. That was the single heroic act that the foolish court jester was known for. Mathurine spent her entire life wishing to be a hero, and that was the only moment she ever felt remotely like one. Worse, the King soon accused her of being the one behind the attempt on his life. Yet despite it all, her dream persists...

A vague Noble Phantasm belonging to an insignificant individual who happened to perform a single minor heroic act, yet foolishly longs to be a true hero, despite knowing full well how impossible that dream was. A Noble Phantasm only usable so long as Saber considers her cause to be undoubtedly just. Upon activating it, her first Noble Phantasm is deactivated as she overcharges her Saint Graph, rapidly increasing her parameters for a few brief seconds, enough for a single action. In essence, this is a Noble Phantasm that "guarantees one heroic deed in exchange for Saber's own life". If her first Noble Phantasm is a plot armor, her second is a Deus Ex Machina activated by sacrificing herself.

There are many ways this Noble Phantasm could take form, depending on the circumstances. She could land a decisive strike on the enemy or temporarily disable one of their weapons. Of course, realistically, this may not always be possible; there will always be enemies that she could not hope to overpower, even with greatly increased parameters. In these cases, this Noble Phantasm would simply allow her to tank a single powerful attack or at the very least draw the enemy's attention and granting her allies a few precious seconds to survive. Even if everything seems lost and the odds are completely against her, for but a brief moment- just one heroic deed- a single ray of hope becomes attainable.

Yet no matter what form this Noble Phantasm takes, there is always one commonality between them; upon activating it, Saber is guaranteed to die. Her fate is sealed and unless one has the ability to alter the concept of fate itself, nothing could possibly save her. Even so, Saber would most likely welcome this end with a smile, content to finally realize her lifelong dream.

    Lore
Mathurine de Vallois was a court jester who served the French Kings Henry III, Henry IV, and Louis XIII.

Little is known regarding Mathurine's life outside the royal court. The only accounts pertaining to her life only elaborated on her exploits as a jester. She was best known for impersonating Amazonian warriors in her performances, and she stopped an assassination attempt on King Henry IV once. Those were the two highlights of her life. The truth was...

Mathurine de Vallois was a girl who dreamed of heroes. Born to a minor noble family, she spent her childhood enamored by tales of heroism from bygone days; the Knights of the Round Table, the Twelve Paladins of Charlemagne, the Iliad, the Odyssey, and more. In the grand scheme of things, her dream was meaningless; the age of honorable knights fighting in the battlefield and sieging castles had long passed. At the time, France was relatively peaceful. At best, Mathurine's fate was to be married off to another noble family in hopes of increasing her family's social standing. With her fate set in stone, the young girl decided to spend her final years of freedom as a street performer, holding small shows to entertain the neighborhood children, where she crafted makeshift props and acted out old legends. Deep down, Mathurine knew full well that her time as a performer was limited; sooner or later, she would have to stop playing make-believe and face the harsh realities of the world.

...That is until one day, her performance caught the attention of King Henry III of France. Enamored by her acting, and needing a bit of entertainment in his court, the King invited Mathurine to serve as his court jester. Seeing a chance to escape her boring fate, the girl readily accepted the offer. From then on, her fame only grew; the people loved her performances and the King supported her career. Within a few years, she earned the rank of Plaisante, a title reserved only for the best female jesters throughout the kingdom. Mathurine found a new meaning to her life in entertaining others as she took pride in her performances. Facing the brewing conflict between Catholics and Huguenots at the time, it was said that her humor could convert Huguenots back into Catholicism. Incidentally, while Mathurine herself was a Catholic, she did not perform these acts out of some religious zeal. Rather, she simply feared that the Huguenots would abolish the jester profession should they come into power.

Yet despite her growing success, Mathurine still desired more. Something in her life was still... missing. It was her childhood dreams of heroism. The desire to perform one heroic deed that would be remembered for centuries to come, just like the heroes she read about from her childhood days. She truly did derive some genuine enjoyment from her career as a jester, yet she still yearned for a chance to be treated as something more than a joke.

Her chance finally arrived on December 27th, 1594. King Henry IV had been discussing political affairs with his ministers when an assassin slipped past the guards and charged into the room, brandishing a knife set to claim the King's life. The King cried out in panic... only to find out that the assassin missed. Realizing his attempt failed, the assassin immediately headed for the exit. At the same time, Mathurine happened to enter the room after hearing the King's cry, and saw the assassin headed her way to make his escape. Faced with this unprecedented situation, the jester haphazardly took her wooden sword and used it to bar the door, closing his escape route. With no other way out, the assassin, 19 year old Jean Chatel, was arrested and sentenced to death.

For once, Mathurine felt like a true hero, minor as her actions were. By protecting the King, she protected the future of France... even if she just happened to be at the right place at the right time. The King bestowed upon her an award for saving his life, and the people showered her with gifts and praises wherever she went. At that moment, she was no longer a foolish court jester dancing for the King's entertainment; she was a hero who saved France... or so she thought.

Mathurine's happiness did not last long. A few weeks later, a warrant arrived issuing her arrest. Apparently the King, as well as a number of ministers, suspected her of being a secret accomplice to Chatel. The Protestant Henry also accused Mathurine of plotting against him due to her Catholic faith. The jester tried to prove her innocence, but Henry would hear none of it. While her many years serving under the King saved her from the death penalty, she was stripped of her title and exiled from the court.

Mathurine would finally return to court a few years later, after Henry IV lost his life in his thirteenth assassination attempt (possibly due to the lack of a jester to protect him from the assassin's blade) and his soon Louis XIII took the throne. Having attended many of Mathurine's performances as a child, the new King reopened investigations to that fateful assassination attempt and allowed Mathurine to say her piece. The jester finally managed to prove her innocence, and Louis reinstated her position and reputation. Mathurine de Vallois would spend the rest of her life as a jester serving under King Louis XIII.

    Description
A high-spirited young girl who understands how awful life can be sometimes- how it rarely goes the way you want it to, and how sometimes, no good deed goes unpunished- but still maintains a positive attitude. While Saber does take pride in her career as a performer, she believes that her feats were insignificant in the grand scheme of things. After all, she just coincidentally happened to be there during that assassination attempt. Even now, she sees herself as nothing more than a minor footnote in history. Saber knows full well that outside of her very specific Noble Phantasm, she is an especially weak Servant, making it highly unlikely for her to ever perform those grand heroic feats she envisions in her dreams in comparison to all the legendary heroes in Chaldea. Nonetheless, despite a Servant's generally static nature, Saber displays an extreme willingness to continuously improve herself and surpass her limits. To some, her positive attitude can be contagious.

Unsurprisingly, Saber heavily idolizes every legendary figure she comes across. More than simple admiration, she genuinely wishes to learn from them. She's actually not half-bad at incorporating new techniques, but her lack of actual combat experience and the years she spent as a jester usually gave birth to some new... unorthodox techniques. These techniques may include accidentally throwing her sword mid-swing, carelessly picking up the wrong weapon, recklessly charging at the enemy and slipping, and a slew of other borderline slapstick actions. She would apologize profusely whenever such accidents happen, yet unbeknownst to her, this same clumsiness also makes her highly unpredictable to her enemies... or it would just get her killed much sooner rather than later. Honestly it could go both ways.

At the root of it all, Saber still yearns to be "a true hero", no matter how unlikely such a dream may sound for her. She yearns to find a cause worth fighting for, an adventure worth embarking upon, and friends worth protecting. When such conditions are met, the Master may witness a different side to Saber; a gallant warrior buried underneath years of jokes, foolishness, and disappointment.

...And for once, maybe she could display a genuine smile after so long.

    Relationships
    Mandricardo:
"Eh? You fought two paladins of Charlemagne, went on a quest to avenge your father, and found the legendary Hektor's armor, and you still consider yourself a minor character? Well... keep at it, then. I'm sure one day, your efforts will be rewarded!"

    Sir Dagonet:
"To balance comedy and heroism like that... Just as I thought, you really are like a patron saint to us jesters! Or to me specifically! Still, to think that's how you truly feel... It may be presumptuous of me to say this, but maybe we're not so different after all... or not! You're still miles ahead compared to someone like me!"

    Francis Pharcellus Church/Ebenezer Scrooge:
"See, that's the wonderful thing about dreams, wouldn't you agree? No matter how childishly pathetic they may sound, some people just can't help but reach out for them regardless! In turn, sometimes you just can't help but root for them, whether you'd like to admit it or not!"

    Fakers (bond 5):
"Yes, yes, you must be wondering why I chose to be summoned as a Saber rather than a Faker, despite being known for impersonating that Amazonian Queen. It's true that I may have some slightly stronger Skills and Noble Phantasms if I attached myself to her legend, but... call it selfishness on my part. I wanted to be remembered as Mathurine de Vallois, the court jester free to write a heroic legend of her own rather than constantly staying beneath another person's legend. Besides, writing and acting out your own script just feels more fun compared to shoehorning yourself to an existing role, especially when your heart's not entirely in it!"

    Anna Anderson:
"How sad. To single-mindedly hold on to your dream even as your role threatens to devour you whole... Well, if anything, I'm glad you're here. Anna Anderson deserves to exist just as much as Anastasia Nikolaevna Romanova does."

    The Scarlet Pimpernel:
"Whoa, so this is what a true modern-day hero is like... for so long I thought that our time has long passed, but to see someone else holding on to a dream similar to mine, and actually managing to succeed at that... A-Ahem, if you don't mind, can you teach me your ways!?"

    Penthesilea:
"Penthesilea, Queen of the Amazons... she was one of my favorites, that one. I often psych myself up before a performance by thinking something along the lines of 'what would she do in this situation'? Sometimes I can still hear her voice in my head, and- wait, what? I'm not hearing things? That's the real Penthesilea over there!? She's... just as dazzlingly beautiful as I imagined her to be. Ah, she just turned this way! Hey! Wait, why is she running? MASTER, WHY IS SHE RUNNING!?"

"Dear Lord, just one more time, please let me see the rest of that dream."
She uttered that sentence in her prayers every night.

A part of her felt bad every time she prayed for such a thing.
If anything, she should have been grateful.
France was at peace, war between kingdoms were a thing of the past, the King was no corrupt despot...
She should have accepted the role determined for her from the very beginning.

"But... that can't be the end of it now, can it? There has to be something more to see, to accomplish in this world."

    ---

Mathurine de Vallois, Servant Saber, opened her eyes with renewed resolve.
She drew her wooden blade from its sheath as she smiled with reassurance.
She was no longer a foolish jester dancing upon the palm of her King. For once, she was a true hero, something beyond her wildest imagination.
    And so...

"Dear Lord, just one more time... please let me see this fleeting dream to its end."

    Creator's Notes
After the grand wanked undertaking that was Ptolemy I, another question just hit me: What's the weakest, most obscure Servant I can write who would still qualify as a Servant? And so begins this... reverse-wanking challenge of mine. This one... turned out kinda weird.
    • That moment when the actual court jester was written with a more serious personality compared to the Greek war criminal and the Pharaoh/self-proclaimed God-King. Maybe it's cuz' this sheet takes more focus on achieving your dreams, yada-yada-yada... or I'm just low on inspiration right now to come up with those jokes.
    • After writing that NP... I'm not sure if she's really weak or really wanked, honestly. She literally can't seriously hurt anyone so long as the first NP is active, but that second NP pretty much allows her to do whatever the plot needs her to do, in exchange for her own life. That just sounds like an obvious heroic sacrifice bait in a story chapter. Maybe writing a borderline shitpost NP for a non-shitpost Servant is not the best idea...
    • There's probably a wholesome snippet to be written here regarding her relationship with the Pimpernel. I'll keep it in mind.
    • Huh, apparently putting the lore section before the personality does help on cutting down the repetitiveness of the sheet. I learned something new today.
    • My reverse-wanking project continues with at least one more sheet. They'll probably be even weaker than this one, but that doesn't mean they can't serve a specific role in a good story.

All in all, I have mixed feelings on this one, but I gotta give myself a pat on the back for writing an entire sheet on a girl who just happened to stand near the door when her king was about to get shanked. Go me!

Yep, needs the right mix of serious and comedic, and she seems to fit the best. Still keeping Del's idea for something more serious though.

Pretty good. I particularly like how her kit is oriented around jokes.

This is not a general FGO discussion thread. Beast's Lair has plenty of them.

Oh? You almost look disappointed. Were you expecting… someone else?
I see, I see — so you wished to summon him instead.
You’re quite ambitious, aren’t you? I like that.
In that case, I will show you, I will teach you—what these ambitions can truly achieve.
Consider yourself lucky, philistine. Meeting me is the greatest honor you will ever receive.

Come on now, where has that ambition you showed me gone?
That’s no good, you really should be generous to your inner demons.
You don’t want them to feast on your soul and rend your body apart instead, do you?

There once was an exceptionally wise King.

He led the United Kingdom to its utmost prosperity. He built the glorious and sacred Temple as a peace offering. He bound and commanded seventy two demon gods to do his biddings. He bestowed humanity with the power that could rival the gods. He peered into the past, understood the present, and revealed things to come.

However, the King had one fatal flaw — he had no ambition.
With no desire to wield the power he was blessed with, a certain Queen lamented that he was like a treasure left gathering dust in a warehouse.

There once was an exceedingly selfless King.

He lived merely to fulfill his role as God dictated. So he died without even knowing the passion and romance of being a human. With his death, his Kingdom soon shattered, his Temple was brought to ruin, his demons desecrated his remains, and his legacy would eventually become one of the greatest evil of humanity.

Nonetheless, with his wisdom, the King was already aware of all this.
As he let go of the world, Solomon had left behind an heir capable of inheriting his wisdom and also with the potential to possess the ambition he lacked.

The Son of the Wise wielded the sagacity of his progenitors to realize his own ambition.
To him, wisdom does not requisite reservation, it is simply a weapon.
For him, knowledge does not come with responsibility, it is authority.
There is no point in having them if they’re not properly used.

And so, armed with Solomon’s wisdom, and equipped with his own burning ambition, The Emperor embarked on a quest of glory. With the legions of the Demon Gods in his command, he transformed the Ark of the Covenant as a weapon of destruction, he rode on the Lion of Judah towards the path of conquest — and he built an Empire that rivaled the magnificence of Babylon.

This is your final test. I ask you, philistine.
Do you have the will to transform your power into determination?
Can you grasp the resolution to mend your desire into ambition?
If you cannot give me a satisfactory answer, then you have no right to be my Master.
Not even if you call yourself the King of Magecraft.

    Class: Rider
    True Name: Menelik
    Gender: Male
    Alignment: Lawful Neutral
    Origin: Kebra Nagast
    Attribute: Man

The legendary First Emperor of Abyssinia, the son of King Solomon and Queen Makeda, as told in the national foundation epic of Kebra Nagast.

Menelik was raised by his mother in the mythical lands of Sheba. At his coming of age, he travelled to Jerusalem to visit his father, and it is said that he was asked to succeed Solomon as the King of Israel. However, he refused and instead decided to return to his homeland. Nonetheless, Solomon sent representatives of each of the Twelve Tribes to accompany him home and serve as his counselor, bringing with them the Ark of the Covenant.

Upon his return to Aksum, the Queen abdicated her throne and crowned him King. With the Throne of Sheba and the Ark of the Covenant at his disposal, Menelik went on to conquer neighboring lands and made the Kingdom of Aksum into one of the ancient world’s greatest empires.

However, in truth Menelik never truly met the living King Solomon. The individual he met during his visit to Jerusalem was none other than the Demon God nesting within Solomon's body, Goetia.

Therefore, Menelik was the first individual to become a host of one of the Seventy Two Demon Gods. The infernal spirit bearing the rank of King. The Demon God who was Solomon’s most trusted advisor. The Ifrit whose blood runs within Rider’s own vein through the Queen of Sheba—the Thirty Second Pillar, Asmoday.

    Parameters:
    STR: C
    END: C
    AGI: B
    MGI: A+
    LCK: A
    NP: A+

    Class Skills:
    Riding: A+
The ability to ride mounts and operate vehicles. All vehicles and every creature including those of Phantasmal Beast and Divine Beast can be used as mounts. This is the rank sufficient to handle the Divine Beast-class mount that is Rider’s Noble Phantasm, the Lion of Judah.

    Magic Resistance: EX
Protection against magical effects, the ability to cancel spells altogether. Through his possession of the Ring of Solomon, combined with the protection granted by the Ark of the Covenant, and sheer will of his own, Rider is able to cancel all magecraft developed and performed by mankind.

    Personal Skills:
    Glory of Kings: A+
Imperial Privilege, renamed through Rider’s insistence. The prerogative to obtain skills that would otherwise be unavailable to the Servant. If the Emperor so desires it, he can acquire Charisma, Tactics, Martial Arts, among others.

Perhaps because the nature of this skill is compatible with the characteristics of demons that operate through desire, Rider’s Imperial Privilege has received a boost through the power of the Demon God Asmoday. As long as Rider can muster the ambition to possess such power, even Divinity can be obtained.

    Clairvoyance (Beast): B++
The divine wisdom inherited from Solomon combined with the sagacity of a Demon God, descended from the Queen of Sheba. It is an eyesight that allows a limited prediction of the past and future, but its true power is the ability to discern the thought, desire, and true nature of human beings. Something that normally only belongs to either enlightened beings, or demons.

    Grand Order: EX
The mark of a Beast, signifying one’s status as an Enemy of Human Order, it is a curse embedded into the Magic Crest of 72 magus families by a being claiming to be King Solomon. In fact, as the first-born of Solomon, Rider was the very first person that carries this designation.

The name of the Demon God nesting within Rider is Asmoday, the Demon God commanding 72 legions, told in legends to have once stolen Solomon’s rings and usurped his throne. In other words, she is the mastermind behind Goetia’s insubordination against Solomon. The Demon God’s personal reason of doing this is not out of hatred against either Solomon or humanity, but in hope so that Solomon might one day awaken his ambition—

Because they both share this same hope, both Rider and Asmoday agreed to form a mutual contract, and the Demon God willingly became Rider’s familiar, eager to watch him realize his ambition, like a proud grandparent.

    Ring of Gluttony: A
A ring that can store a ridiculous amount of magical energy. It is capable of dispelling all magecraft and the phenomena derived from it. In other words, it is one of the Ten Rings of Solomon, the ring that Solomon sent to the future, that would change ownership in the course of history until one day it came to the possession of a certain descendant of Solomon. The true nature of this ring is hidden from the Demon Gods, and not even Asmodeus is aware of it.

    Noble Phantasms:
    Anbessa Yihuda
    The Lion King of Conquest
    Type: Anti-Army
    Rank: A+
The Lion of Judah has Conquered.
The symbol of Jerusalem, the insignia of the Ethiopian Emperors of the Solomonic Dynasty. It is the Divine Beast spoken in the Book of Revelation. It is one of the parting gifts that Solomon exchanged with the Queen of Sheba, the Guardian Spirit contained within the ring he entrusted.

As a Noble Phantasm, this lion has the power to break any contracts, open every seal and devour all curse and magecraft. While it is classified as a Divine Beast, its capricious appetite is more fitting for a Demonic Beast. For this reason, it is possible for the Demon God Asmoday to temporarily possess its Saint Graph and manifest in her Dragon-Lion form.

    Sakhr Sidonay
    The Demonic Dragon of Usurpation

    Tabot Sellat
O Mankind, Obey the Seal of Commandment
    Type: Anti-World
    Rank: EX
The weaponized form of the Ark of the Covenant.
The greatest treasure of the Abyssinian Imperial family, which was brought from Jerusalem to Ethiopia by the sons of the Levite who accompanied Rider home. It is a relic that surpasses even the Holy Grail in terms of mystery and power.

As a Noble Phantasm it manifests in the form of a rectangular-shaped cannon reminiscent of a stelae. It is activated by loading (sacrificing) a soul, whether human, spirit or demon, to be converted into a bullet. Depending on the quality and nature of the ammunition, it can become a weapon of mass destruction up to the rank of Anti-World, or it can be used as a Holy Grail that can realize a great miracle.

In actuality, it is the fourth Noble Phantasm that Solomon never managed to obtain, because he lacked the ambition that Rider has.

Dunno if anyone is interested in weird references but, but my headcanon concerning Asmodeus being the mother of the Queen of Sheba (she is mentioned as half-Demon God) is based on the description in her FGO material profile mentioning that she has "feet webbed like a goose", the same description given to Asmodeus in the Ars Goetia (I checked, no other demons has this feature).

I didn't care to read her mats so that's very interesting to hear. I thought that was your own addition to tighten the connection between him and the Demong God.

I gotta say you did a great job finding and characterizing the hosts for these Demon Gods, Kamera. The first two are the stand-out, spcecially Nostradamus, but everyone came out as both the perfect pair for their demon and also a unique and interesting take on the figures themselves.

Thank you. Honestly the FGO mats is a treasure trove for never-ever concepts or ideas that Nasu and co couldn't be bothered with.

Speaking of, I love your take on Chrysaor earlier, I hope there's more of these sheets that expands the lore of existing characters better than TM themselves.
