He's the third Imam of (most) Shi'a denominations, so he could use a skill that reflects his spiritual primacy (maybe some sort of Magic Crest denoting his inheritance from the Prophet). You mention that he represent his follower's defiance against tyrants, so maybe in addition to Avenger, you could add some sort of Anti-Tyrant skill. Also, his death is arguably the most important event in his legend, so perhaps he should have some Skill or NP that activates when he dies or something along these lines.

"The great painter of Greece, Apelles answers your call... At least that's what I'd like to say. How unfortunate that you were to summon me in this Class, as a mere fallen artist whose brush can only conjure scenes of tragedy and despair. Yet somehow, I sense that you've chosen to put your faith in me even knowing the curse I've been saddled with. That makes me happy, truly. My patron... I can only pray that when you meet your end it is a gentle death, and I promise to stay by your side depicting your last moments."

    Foreigner of the Deepest Black:

    Appearance:

    Source

    True Name: Apelles

    Alignment: True Neutral

    Alternate Classes: Lancer, Caster

    Armaments: Paintbrush and the Blackness.

    Strength- D
    Agility- D
    Endurance- D+
    Mana- B
    Luck- C-
    NP- B

    Personality
A timid and gloomy youth. While Heroic Spirits normally manifest at the apex of their life and legend in this case Apelles is summoned at its nadir- namely the conspiracy against him where he nearly faced execution from King Ptolemy. Thus Foreigner's moodiness and suspicion of interacting with strangers are emphasized compared to his usual self. He can often be found murmuring to himself about how no one truly appreciates his works and is both fearful of criticism yet obsessed with receiving it honestly.

His core disposition as an artist remains yet through the influence of the evil god within him acquires a morbid proclivity with darkness and death, believing that a person's demise reveals the true nature of who they were in life. Thus Foreigner is somewhat obsessed with painting people in their moment of death. When he admires someone he'll openly request to be by their side so he can faithfully depict their dying moments, which Foreigner considers to be the ultimate compliment despite how creepy it sounds.

Foreigner is self-aware of his own fallen nature. In life he overcame the conspiracy against him and obtained happiness, yet still he hears the whispers of those who accused and mocked him in every shadow. Deep down he still wishes to create paintings that brighten people's hearts yet whenever he brings brush to canvas only dark and twisted scenes emerge. Yet even mired in the darkness of an alien god Foreigner still does the only thing he can- paint. He dedicates all his feelings, his anguish, hope and sorrow into his art, praying that they can reach even a single person who languished in despair as he had. Surely then, even his distorted existence could find meaning.

Likes: painting, to have his works appreciated, sincerity and straightforward people
Dislikes: the darkness of the evil god, negative feedback, betrayals and scheming conspiracies
    Talent: painting
    Natural Enemy: Antiphilus

    Class Skills:

    Existence Beyond The Domain- A
A Skill inherent to the Foreigner Class, asserting one's existence outside of time and reality. Foreigner is partially resistant to physical and mental damage, as his true self exists far beyond the reality perceivable by humans. This defense can be bypassed if the attacker themselves is connected to "something beyond man", like by possessing the Divinity Skill. Housing a fragment of the Blackness from the Stars, Foreigner's body itself becomes a "brush" to dye the world in the ominous color he witnessed.

    Divinity- B
Qualifies one's aptitude as a Divine Spirit. At this rank, it's suitable for a Demigod- a mixed-race of divine and mortal. The Blackness from the Stars is not a god, yet as a primeval being that existed since the beginning of the universe its status surpasses all but the highest of them. A compromise affords Foreigner this level of divinity.

    Insanity- N/A
A Mental Pollution-like skill gained from contacting an evil god that can easily erode the fragile common sense and morals of humans. However, the main qualification for the Foreigner class is to defy this erosion, either by maintaining their integrity as they descend into madness, or instead of being consumed by madness, they consume the madness itself. As Foreigner's distorted mentality is better expressed through his Calumny Skill, this has been lost.

    Personal Skills:

    Presence Concealment (Atelier)- B
A reclusive and nervous individual, Foreigner was known to obtain feedback for his work by secluding himself in his atelier and eavesdropping comments from passersby. Whenever someone pointed out a detail amiss he would secretly correct it that very night. This Skill serves as a composite of Presence Concealment and Territory Creation, allowing Foreigner to suppress his presence to a nadir so long as he's in an area he designates as his painter's studio. A perfect ability for an eccentric artist who'd rather be undisturbed in his work.

    Atramentum Astra- A
The blackest shade of ink in all the world. Foreigner was known for using a special black varnish in his paintings to both preserve and soften their color, creating an effect that was hailed by the historian Pliny. However its recipe was kept zealously guarded and lost with Foreigner's own death, making the true nature of his ink a mystery.

In truth he found a mysterious scrap of amorphous pitch-black material one night while staring up at the sky for inspiration to his work. Entranced by the marvelous pigment that stood out even amidst the starry night Foreigner learned to extract it to use in his paintings. Unbeknownst even to Foreigner himself this was actually a fragment of darkness from the stars, creating a shade of black that didn't exist anywhere in the known universe.

This Skill allows Foreigner to manipulate all the color black in the universe through his brush. He can expel waves of inky darkness (with a faint starry pattern) from it, dive into shadows and enter a pocket dimension through them as well as refill his brush by drawing in sources of black from his surroundings. In the darkness of space where effectively infinite "black" exists this Skill would reach its full power allowing Foreigner to dye the world itself as his canvas.

    Calumny- B+
Falsely accused by a jealous rival Antiphilus Foreigner almost faced execution by his patron King Ptolemy himself. However the light of truth shone through at the last moment as the conspiracy was uncovered and Antiphilus given to Foreigner in slavery for his treason. This became the inspiration for Foreigner's famous allegorical painting "Calumny" that depicts an innocent youth menaced by four figures of Ignorance, Envy, Treachery and Deceit.

While this was only a brief episode that he overcame due to the Foreigner Class manifesting Apelles at the lowest moments of his life it's been brought forth as a Personal Skill. Resentment, slanders and ridicule perpetually swirl around Foreigner, yet those very unsightly emotions become the ink dying his brush that he wields to cut a path through the dismal wastes. Even if the only scenes he can paint are full of darkness and despair, he will continue to lift his brush while praying for a light at the ends of the distant horizon.

Similar to the Avenger Skill Apelles is empowered in proportion to his own negative emotions and those directed at him, sublimating his own suffering into the impetus for his artwork. His brushstrokes grow fiercer and more vigorous as if every strike were meant to banish his inner demons. However this induces a severe instability in his mindset as he constantly hears voices in every shadow accusing him and criticizing his work.

    Noble Phantasm
    Ekphrasis Metoposcopos
    Darkness, Foretell The Future Demise

    Rank: B

    Type: Anti-Unit

The culmination of Foreigner's realist style of painting that was extolled as being so true to life an oracle could divine the date of death of those depicted solely by using his canvases as reference. Through submergence in the darkness of an alien god his skill has gone beyond merely predicting death to outright enforcing it.

Upon invoking this Noble Phantasm's true name Foreigner first projects a blank white canvas in the air. Tendrils of darkness then seep across it melting together muddily and coalescing into a grotesque portrait that depicts the target's time of death. When the work is completed the target suffers injuries that match their cause of death in the painting, which can be anything from heart-failure to severe internal trauma or even dozens of phantom knife-wounds appearing along their body.

This damage isn't actually assured to be fatal but given it's what will kill the opponent at the end of their life it will be unless unexpected conditions are met. A curse that locks onto the victim's fate of death in the future and forcibly drags it onto the present, in order to evade this Noble Phantasm the ability to defy destiny (in other words Luck) is necessary. Furthermore Foreigner has to know the opponent's true name in order to depict their death.

So here's the Foreigner sheet I'd been talking about. Thought I'd try my hand at an alternate Class of Apelles and it was a toss-up between this and Assassin but ultimately I decided to emphasize the "otherworldly dark" angle. As usual comments and critiques would be welcome. Thanks for reading y'all!

Starting the new year with a Foreigner by Royd? Yes, thats good.
Neat little connection, reminds me of your other painter Foreigner, just less creepy. I always like it when you can add seemingly unrelated terms into skill names for a servant, like Sub Rosa or now Atramentum Astra. Overall nice start in the new year

    Source: Gesta Danorum.

    Class: Lancer.
    True Name: Mithotyn.
    Alignment: Lawful Evil.
    Place of Origin: Scandinavia.
Face Claim: Kain, Blood Omen 2: Legacy of Kain.

BACKGROUND: Some have said that the Norse gods were not Divine Spirits originally, but humans who ascended to such a state through the power of their sorcery and the worship of their people. It’s also said that there was a time when Odin, dishonoured by Frigga, abandoned his kingdom in shame; and that at such a time, a sorcerer of unknown origins called Mithotyn pretended to be a god and tried to seize the devotion of the Norse in order to usurp Odin’s rule.

That is the legend, but it is not the truth.

Some say he did not seek rulership for himself, but merely to restore proper worship of the gods by replacing indiscriminate offerings and sacrifices with tributes and appeasements directed to specific deities. They say Mithotyn sought not to replace Odin, but to ensure he didn’t greedily devour all of his followers’ faith and instead shared it with his brethren, as was only just and proper.

That is not the truth, but it is closer to it.

It is true that Mithotyn sought to destroy worship in the gods, but not for power; not for himself, at least. The truth is that Mithotyn loved the idea of humanity, but despaired at the reality of human beings, vulnerable and fearful. What he wanted was to elevate all of humanity to the status of gods, for all human beings to see and acknowledge the divinity in themselves.

He failed. His words fell on hateful ears, his actions seen as courting the wrath of the gods. He was run out of Norse lands and forced to take refuge among the Finns, but even there he was hunted and, finally, executed.

That was not the end of his story, however, for nothing is as bitter as love turned to hate - even the hollow love of one who would be a saviour; such a force is strong enough to make even the dead wake in their graves. In his living death, all those who came near his barrow died sudden deaths. The stories aren’t clear if he slaughtered all those people himself, or if it they died from a miasma that spread from his grave; regardless, it was certain that he wanted to punish the living for his murder. It was only after his body was taken out of the mound, beheaded, and staked through the breast with a wooden spear that he was forcibly put to rest, his story ended.

    Until now.

    Parameters:

    STR:
    B
    END: C
    AGI: B
    MGI: B
    LCK: E
    NP: A+

    Class Skills:

    Magic ResistanceA-.
Due to a combination of his Class container, the strength of his legend as a sorcerer who defied the Norse god of magic, and his current existence as a haugbúi (“barrow-dweller”, an undead creature), Mithotyn boasts of a surprisingly high Magic Resistance for a Heroic Spirit of the Lance. However, his nature is a double-edged sword in that it renders him more vulnerable to spells that specifically draw on the power of the sacred and the divine, particularly spells that target existences understood as “undead” (even if they originate from different Thaumaturgical Foundations); against those spells, his Magic Resistance is useless.

    Personal Skills:

    Staves CreationC++.
The Skill to create sacramental wooden staves with which blood is sprinkled on the altar and the worshippers during a blood sacrifice; as long as he has the magical energy, Mithotyn can instantly create as many of these staves as he desires. Made from the branches of the sacred tree at Uppsala, these staves are strong, sturdy, and deadly, possessing enough mystery they can stand even against the weaponry of legend wielded by Servants. They are his main weaponry and can be used even as thrown weapons, although they start disappearing shortly after leaving his hands.

Norse rites of worship are intrinsically tied to Mithotyn’s legend, but not as acts of devotion to the gods; rather, regardless of his real motive, they were acts of opposition. As such, the staves he creates have inherent anti-Divinity properties, being especially effective against enemies associated with the gods in proportion to the level of association.

    Undead WalkerB.
A Skill denoting one’s existence as a draugr or haugbúi, a revenant. In Mithotyn’s case, it’s been weakened by the uncertain nature of his barrow-curse in the legends: did he really return as an undead killer, or were the deaths caused entirely by sorcery that lingered after his death? As such, he doesn’t have any of the powers commonly associated with the undead in Norse tales, such as bewitching eyes or shapeshifting, or even the monstrous strength of such creatures. However, myth and truth both agree that his power lasted beyond death; thus, Mithotyn is granted an undead body that allows him to continue fighting with no penalties regardless of the state of his body and even after suffering fatal wounds, as if he had the Battle Continuation Skill at Rank A.

    Witchcraft B.
Knowledge of seidr, the shamanistic magic of the Norse people, even older than the Rune Magic of the god Odin. It teaches a wide variety of spells, but its specialisations are blessings, curses, weather control, divination, communion with spirits, and illusions. While Mithotyn’s full sorcerous might isn’t displayed in the Lancer Class, he is still a powerful mage, capable of feats that would amaze any modern magus; however, his magic has been warped to fit the legend of “Mithotyn, the barrow-dweller who defied Odin”, and thus deeds such as “saving your Master from life-threatening injuries” might prove themselves beyond him at the most inopportune times.

    Noble Phantasms:

    Terror Zone
A Land the Gods Left Behind, A Sky of Cloudy Fears

“Even in his death his abominations were made manifest, for those who came nigh his barrow were cut off by a kind of sudden death; and after his end, he spread such pestilence that he seemed almost to leave a filthier record in his death than in his life: it was as though he would extort from the guilty a punishment for his slaughter.”
    - Saxo Grammaticus, Gesta Danorum, Book I (trans. Oliver Elton)

    Type:
    Barrier.
    Rank: A.
    Range: 1-10.
    Max. Targets: 50.

By invoking this Noble Phantasm’s true name, Mithotyn recreates the spear* which was used to forcibly put his barrow-curse to rest (the real reason why he is summoned in the Lancer Class) and releases said curse once more unto the world.
    * Feel free to imagine this scene as him pulling the spear from his breast Utena-style.

What Terror Zone does is create a Bounded Field composed entirely of curses made manifest through Mithotyn’s magic. While inside this area, which covers over a dozen metres, all living things are targeted by his rage and hatred and suffer continuous damage as the mass of curses attacks their life forces directly. Regular humans will die almost instantly as all their life-sustaining processes shut down, and even magi won’t fare much better (even the strongest Circuits can’t reject that much energy all at once). Servants can somewhat resist the damage depending on their END and MGI Parameters and assorted Skills, but unless they have some form of immunity to curses, even they can’t withstand such an assault for long as the energy that composes their spiritual bodies is continuously shaved off.

“Face claim” for Terror Zone: High Lord Wolnir, Dark Souls III.

Those who survive the initial onslaught will soon discover Terror Zone has another aspect to it, one reflective of the uncertain nature of Mithotyn’s barrow-curse in the legends: did he really return as an undead killer, or were the deaths caused entirely by sorcery that lingered after his death? Just as it’s impossible to know if those deaths were caused directly by Mithotyn or by his curse, it’s impossible to know if Terror Zone is a mass of curses or Mithotyn himself; thus, the Bounded Field created by this Noble Phantasm is simultaneously considered a part of the existence known as Servant Mithotyn. While inside this area, Mithotyn can display an ability close to True Magic by sidestepping in between space (in practical terms, teleporting), which allows him to both evade and deliver attacks at a speed that can be matched by few even among heroes of legend. Even abilities that sense his presence can’t help; the entire Bounded Field is perceived as if it were Mithotyn himself.

When fighting in this manner, Mithotyn usually wields the spear which once defeated his barrow-curse (although he can also use it in combination with one of his staves at the same time). This spear is a deadly weapon that is nearly on the level of a demonic sword of legend in terms of piercing and striking power; moreover, as the physical manifestation of the legend of his killings, it can’t be destroyed as long as Servant Mithotyn still exists. However, exactly because of those legends, it can be stolen and used against him; not as a way of invoking Terror Zone, but as a weapon, one that would be extremely lethal to him.

“Building the future and keeping the past alive are one and the same thing.”
    True Name: Odysseus

    Alignment: Neutral Good

    Class: Archer

    Place of Origins: Ithaca, Greece

Traits: Brynhildr's Beloved, Greek Mythology Males, Humanoid, King, Male, Servant, Weak to Enuma Elish

    Attribute: Earth

    Parameters:
    STR - C
    END - A
    AGI - B
    MGI - B+
    LUK - EX
    NP - B

    Class Skills:

    Magic Resistance: B

    Independent Action: A

    Personal Skills:

    “ Nobody ”: --
Outis (Οὖτις)--the name Odysseus gave to the blinded Cyclops Polyphemus when the great giant demanded the identity of his unseen assailant.

“I am Nobody, and it is Nobody who attacks you now.”

Though the name and core concept of the Skill derive from this famous battle with Polyphemus, it encapsulates as well the wider scope of adventures involving Odysseus disguising or hiding himself.

Rather than pre-meditated obfuscation, this Skill concerns “the denial of self” and the lowest point of Odysseus’s kleos during his journey: from a well-respected and revered king, to a thief and an outlaw, to a man with no identity at all. In this state he’s merely a machine, consuming and expending energy in order to realize his goal.

“I want to see her again.”

Nobody has the potential to be Anybody. Similar to the Eastern concept of Nothingness. The ability to conceal his stats and presence. In limited cases, this can be applied to the World itself, as even the gods (the prevailing “order” of his day) have been fooled by his deceptions in the past. Activation temporarily turns Odysseus into something similar to a Wraith; a series of emotions taking on a new “shell” that is accepted by everyone.

“Active Camo at 100% and holding…”

    Voyager of the Storm: B+
The talent to sail vessels recognized as ships. Because the ability as a group leader is also necessary, this unique Skill also has the effects of both Charisma and Military Tactics.

The King of Ithaca, King of Tacticians, can truly be said to have gone on the King of Voyages. The man whose very name is synonymous with “The Odyssey.” Pursued by as many gods as those that lent him their assistance, none were more harmful to the difficult journey Odysseus faced than the Earth-shaker Poseidon.

Despite the sea itself as his enemy, Odysseus persevered. Well...that being said, shouldn’t he spare some more thought to the average mortals in his ranks? It isn’t as though his charisma was found lacking, merely that the hardship he put his men through inevitably created a distance between them.

Insight of the Cunning General: B++
Metis (Μῆτις)--the Greek concept of good counsel, planning, cunning, and wisdom. Originally a Titaness of the same name (and the mother of Odysseus’ patron Athena) before being swallowed by Zeus in response to a prophecy claiming Metis would bear a son that would surpass his father. While other Greek heroes such as Achilles and Heracles embody a more stereotypical strength that errs on the physical, Odysseus is considered the embodiment of this more subtle Metis.

Then, in a way, couldn’t he be called the son of that once great Titaness…?

A natural ability to grasp the essence of things occurring around him, as well as the intuition necessary to best exploit the “structural weak points of reality.” If it sounds similar to a certain pair of Mystic Eyes, then that’s because it’s closer to the truth of the situation than perhaps originally understood. Odysseus’ mind is more receptive to other “channels” of thought not usually associated with humanity--thanks in part once again to the ever-present Athena.

Glaukos, the term used to describe the Goddess of Wisdom’s eyes, are a brilliant “blue” or “flashing” or “gleaming in their purity.” Eyes that are constantly active, consuming and processing information at immense speeds in order to ensure victory. While Athena’s mighty Aigis is absent from Odysseus’ Saint Graph in this Class (returned to her at the end of the King’s journey) spending so much time in the company of Divine Spirits and literally grafted to a Divine Construct is bound to leave some lasting impressions on Odysseus’ very soul.

His predictive ability is second to none, at least when taking practicality into account. Well...maybe not. His ideas are prone to being outlandish; but because of who he is, Odysseus always makes them work out in the end. The most famous instance of Odysseus’ cunning is, of course, the ploy concerning the Trojan Horse.

    Unyielding Will: A
A Skill that represents one's extremely firm will that never yields to any sort of agony, despair or circumstances.

Originally known as Single-Mindedness (Love). However, as this incarnation of Odysseus has finally reunited with Penelope, this Skill has taken on its “original” function as an embodiment of the King of Tacticians’ iron will.

20 long years. From a war that cost him countless friends and allies--and would have taken even more if not for a brilliantly foolhardy plan of his own creation--to a bloodsoaked and seemingly futile journey home.

Though he was set adrift in the depths of despair, he never succumbed. Though bent, he was never broken. Provides resistance against physical and mental damage.

    Noble Phantasms:

    Anemoi Recovery System
    Kibisis Aeolus

    Anti-Unit
    Rank: E+

He gave me a sack, the skin of a full-grown ox,
binding inside the winds that howl from every quarter,
for Zeus had made that king the master of all the winds,
with power to calm them down or rouse them as he pleased.
Aeolus stowed the sack inside my holds, lashed so fast
    with a burnished silver cord
not even a slight puff could slip past that knot.
Yet he set the West Wind free to blow us on our way
and waft our squadron home. But his plan was bound to fail,
yes, our own reckless folly swept us on to ruin …

Narrowly escaping the island of Polyphemus and the combined rage of both Zeus and Poseidon, Odysseus makes “landfall” on the floating island Aeolia. Its king, Divine Spirit Aeolus, provided Odysseus with the famous Mystic Code listed above. Though in life it went to waste-- the premature release of the winds blowing Odysseus and his men back to Aeolia and an unhappy Aeolus--summoned alone the King of Tacticians is able to use it to its fullest potential.

In essence, Kibisis Aeolus is an anti-movement Noble Phantasm that contains “directed force” in the form of the four winds through a perpetual motion-type Bounded Field. Well, as nice as it sounds, Odysseus still fundamentally lacks the Authority necessary to manipulate the turbulent winds at his own discretion.

Instead, he uses it quite like a Fulton surface-to-air recovery system (“Skyhook”). By inflating the bag and attaching it to an item he’d like to save for later, it is quickly whisked away high into the sky towards the conceptual “Aeolia”. Whether this supposed floating fortress base exists within Imaginary Number space, or if it’s saturated completely with Minerva Particles, is essentially unknown. The items once sent away can be called back to Odysseus, though given the lingering thoughts of humiliation Aeolus imprinted on the Noble Phantasm itself, the items are returned rather recklessly. Fortunately, this recovery speed suits Odysseus just fine.

Size, weight, or any extenuating magical factors are not an issue for either delivery or recovery. Truly a terrifying mail system. Odysseus is able to replicate up to four of the bags at a time, one for each wind.

    Ever-Turning Illusion’s End
    Palintonos Ithakē

    Anti-Unit
    Rank: B

    In action

The mighty bow of Odysseus, centerpiece of the Odyssey’s final--and bloodiest--conflict. At the behest of Penelope, and in order to satisfy the increasingly impatient suitors that continued to lounge around Odysseus’ home, a contest was called to once and for all determine who the “widowed” queen of Ithaca would take as her second husband.

Whoever could string the bow and fire an arrow through twelve axes would win Penelope’s hand. Of course, the many suitors failed, and the disguised Odysseus easily conquered the challenge. The merciless bloodbath that followed was the only natural conclusion.

However, the contest was always a farce, as the conditions for victory were those that only fit “Odysseus” under its several variables. Therefore, it can be considered that the fateful stringing of the bow and subsequent shot are events that are irrelevant to the end result.

The story of the Odyssey is the story of Odysseus accomplishing great feats that “only he could do.” Thus, the incident of the bow--and the bow itself--is a microcosm of the larger tale of the Odyssey. A true crystallization.

Taking the form of a rather anachronistic crossbow-rifle, Palintonos Ithakē is DNA-encrypted to unlock only when held by Odysseus. Perhaps useless as a Heroic Spirit, but indispensable when alive. The two arms carry a projection apparatus that follows the length of the barrel, shooting the “arrow” as it’s created.

For protracted combat, Palintonos Ithakē offers another option. A creation of Eurytus, the master archer responsible for instructing Heracles on the development of the Nine Lives technique, the bow was meant to turn any ordinary man into a one-man army. Several sub-unit Mystic Codes can be released and directed by thought alone, akin to a familiar. These sub-units are powered by a predetermined infusion of Odysseus’ Od, which is also used as ammunition. When they run low on energy, a subroutine ritual activates that sends them flying back to lodge inside the bow as a “charging hub.” Thanks to Odysseus’ impressive magical reserves, the sub-units can be refilled and redeployed in a matter of seconds.

The True Name release, on the other hand, is quite a bit different. The bow’s ammunition switches from simple weaponized Od to Odysseus’ very will itself, amplified by the Mystic Code to such a level that it interferes with the principle of causality. Space-time warps in accordance to the arrow’s intended target, effectively destroying his enemy before Odysseus need even pull the trigger.

For the man who conquered Troy. For the man who endured Hell. The outcome of his life hadn’t been a mystery from the very beginning, everything within his control could only be expected.

Perhaps...that sort of thing has its own kind of sadness.

    Notes

This has been sitting in my docs for two years now and it probably shows. It doesn't quite fit the rework contest but scrolling through my docs brought it to my attention again, so I figured I might as well post it.

Did someone say... more Indonesian Servants? Just me? Oh well. I was hoping I could use this for the secret santa contest, but apparently he didn't fit any of the prompts I got, so here you go. After my last Balinese multi-sheet project, this one is... less mythological in comparison. There's a second soundtrack (best played simultaneously) in the second opening quote, just in case you missed it.

    Saber of the Kraton
-- Prophecized Hero of the Java War --

"More fighting, huh... Will this battle ever end? At least I'm not an Assassin this time around. A-Ahem, I mean, such things are irrelevant now. So long as there are people oppressed under the heels of tyrants, you can be sure I'll be there to put an end to their suffering, regardless of Class... as best as I can, at least. Now then, Servant Saber, Diponegoro of Kraton Yogyakarta, at your service. Brief me on our on-field conditions, the morale of our troops, and the state of our supply lines, then we can get started."

"Here's a little lesson that could go a long way; that massive war spanning decades that killed thousands, one that many dedicated their entire lives for? In the grand scheme of things, that's just the first act of the show. Once that long-desired peace finally rolls around, the people will need a leader to pick up the pieces; someone they can trust, one that can protect them and prevent such a tragedy from happening ever again. That's what I tried to do back then, at least, even if things didn't quite... work out. Now, a question for you, Master; what kind of leader do you aspire to be?"

    Class Skills
    Riding (C)

A Class Skill of Rider and Saber class Servants, denoting the ability to ride mounts and vehicles. It is said that dragon-type mounts are an exception, requiring a different ability other than Riding. One can flawlessly manage beasts and vehicles if they have received the proper training and adjustments. Most vehicles and animals can be handled with above average skill. However, one cannot ride the likes of Phantasmal Species such as Monstrous Beasts.

"I don't consider myself half-bad at riding horses. That said, while their mobility can help while traversing great distances, they're... generally not that helpful anywhere else. Enemies can spot a convoy of horses from miles away, they may have trouble traversing certain terrains such as swamps and deep forests, not to mention they require resources to maintain, resources that could be better spent for our main combatants, or for the starving families I encountered along the way. That's why I prefer to travel on foot, most of the time."

    Magic Resistance (D --> B)

Grants protection against magical effects. Differing from the Resistance effect that merely rejects Magical Energy, this ability cancels the spells altogether. Cancels spells with a chant below three verses. Even if targeted by High-Thaumaturgy and Greater Rituals, it is difficult for Saber to be affected. As a Heroic Spirit from a relatively modern era, Saber would normally possess this Skill at a low rank (despite being born in an area with high mystery, even well into the 19th century). However, due to the effects of Ratu Adil- the will of ancient prophecies and local deities, as well as the countless people who shared his convictions- its rank has been considerably increased.

"The Java War was a war of many; men and women, nobles and commoners, fighters and tacticians, all of them united under a common cause. War is a terrible, terrible thing, but for a moment... I couldn't help but admire how the people stood as one during that tumultuous era. Kiai Madja. Sentot Prawirodirdjo. Kerta Pengalasan. Nyi Ageng Serang. Remember their names, along with countless others who yearned for a brighter future for their children and grandchildren. For without them... things might have turned out much worse."

    Personal Skills
    Ratu Adil (B-)

Ancient Javanese prophecies spoke of a legendary hero who would rise and save the people during their greatest time of need, much like foreign messianic figures such as King Arthur and Fionn mac Cumhaill. This hero would put an end to centuries of oppression and usher a new age of peace and prosperity. Throughout Javanese history, many held this title- Ratu Adil ("just ruler")- including the King of Kahuripan Airlangga, the founder of Singhasari Ken Arok, the hero who repelled the Mongol invasion Raden Wijaya, and more. Saber was one of the individuals entrusted with this title, along with the people's hopes and prayers, as if representing the will of Java itself. This Skill functions similarly to high-ranking Charisma. Representing the centuries of mystery contained within the island, it could also boost Saber's parameters temporarily, and increase the rank of his Magic Resistance. However, Saber has chosen to seal away a considerable portion of the Skill's power.

"No, this isn't right... I failed, plain and simple. The people entrusted me with such a grand title, bestowed me with all their hopes and dreams, and I failed. Ahaha, centuries of history, countless people who bore the title, and I must be the only one who screwed up the entire prophecy this badly. So many dead... for what? And the people, the island, or the world as a whole still deemed it fit for me to wear this title? This isn't a symbol of pride... it's a mark of shame."

    Guerrilla Tactics (A)

The tactical knowledge used not for one-on-one combat situations, but for battles where many are mobilized. This variant Skill is specialized towards either solo or small group operations against larger forces. Bonus modifiers are applied for when dealing against an enemy party and a Critical Chance is initiated if Saber and his allies strike before the enemy has become aware of their presence. Faced against the Dutch's more advanced weaponry and complex tactics, guerrilla warfare has always been one of the most preferred methods for local freedom fighters. Saber's campaign was a testament to the relative success of guerrilla warfare, as well as his own strategic mind. To him, nature itself serves as both a powerful sword and a stalwart shield. With the entirety of Java as his battleground, Saber skillfully utilized different terrains, buildings, and even weather conditions to his advantage, repeatedly blindsiding his opponents despite the considerable gap in strength.

"It would have been easy to move under the cover of night, slit their throats as they sleep and set fire to their encampment as the fog conceals our escape... but I don't want that. I wanted to believe that neither side actually wants any of this. I wanted to believe in humanity, naive as it sounds. Besides, even if I were to accomplish that, the people needed a leader to look up to, not a ghost to fear. That's also why I much prefer to be summoned in any other Class besides the obvious Assassin. Because I wanted to believe."

    Anti-Colonialism (A)

A Skill denoting one who opposes colonialism. Allows the user to deal more damage to Servants of European origins, particularly those originating from the 15th to 19th centuries. The Java War lasted but a mere five years. After its conclusion, it still took more than a century for Indonesia to declare independence from the Dutch after three and a half centuries of colonization. Even so, said war proved to be the single most devastating war in the Dutch East Indies, incurring 8.000 military casualties and at least 25.000 gulden's worth of material losses. While many had fought against their oppressors before, Saber was arguably the first to demonstrate that it was possible for indigenous people to inflict that much damage upon their colonizers. His fight was brief, yet his convictions helped to shape the island nation's future.

"Invaders must be purged, after everything they did, everything they took from the people. That much is obvious. That's why I decided to fight, despite my family's objections. That said... what comes afterwards? After all this senseless fighting concludes, how could we ever rebuild all that we've lost? That's where I faltered. What kind of leader did I aspire to be? How would my people see me after the end of it all? Those doubts gradually devoured me inside out as the days passed, until I received that fateful invitation..."

    Noble Phantasm(s)
Roar, O Raging Tempest of the Southern Seas
    Badai Ratu Kidul

"Kanjeng Ratu Nyai Roro Kidul, once again, I humbly request your assistance to defeat our enemies, just as you did back then. May the rain wash away the fear and oppression, so that our children may know a shining era of peace. Badai Ratu Kidul."

    Type: Anti-Army
    Rank: C (A)
    Range: 1-500
    Max Targets: 400 people

Many of Saber's guerrilla strategies involved the rain. The Dutch treated the Java War as an open, all-out war as they marched through plains and grasslands with convoys of armed troops and siege weaponry. This move proved to be their undoing as the rain limited their visibility and mobility, rendering their sheer firepower almost obsolete. It took considerable time for these armies to restock their supplies and rearrange their formations in response to Saber's quick hit-and-run tactics. Using the rain and environmental knowledge of Java's thick tropical forests, Saber and his allies easily picked off their enemies. Furthermore, many who survived Saber's initial ambushes soon fell to unfamiliar tropical diseases such as malaria and dysentery. All these factors combined, Saber had an overwhelming advantage during the early stages of the war.

While these tactics serve as testaments to Saber's ingenuity, according to local legends, he had a bit of help. It was said that Saber received a number of... supernatural assistance throughout his campaign. Old prophecies, spirits of past rulers, local deities, the will of the island itself, and more. One of such helpers was the sea goddess Nyai Roro Kidul, who blew the rain and thunderclouds from the southern coast of Java into the mainland, conjuring powerful storms to act as a cover for Saber and his allies. The truth of this legend is vague, and Saber himself simply laughed off the idea when it was brought to him. Nonetheless, he obtained this Noble Phantasm as a representation of both his tactical genius, as well as the blessings he supposedly received from the sea goddess.

Saber normally uses a very limited release of this Noble Phantasm, using his sword to conjure a light rain, powerful gusts of wind, or the occasional thunderstrike. There may also be rare instances of him briefly vanishing and reappearing in different places while the rain falls, as if this Noble Phantasm also grants him some form of teleportation or increased agility. Saber usually denies these accusations, claiming that the Master simply was not paying attention to his movements. All in all, a straightforward Noble Phantasm for a Saber, a blade that embodies the basic concept of "storms", and everything that the word entails.

    Massacre Underneath the Pouring Rain
    Badai Ratu Kidul

"Enough. It's about time we end this. As much as I loath this Noble Phantasm, it's clear that you're a threat to peace, to the people, and to everything we stand for. May the rain wash away your sins, for once the sky clears up, I'll make sure not even the tiniest speck of your blood remain to taint these lands. Noble Phantasm True Name release; Badai Ratu Kidul."

...At least, that's what he wants you to think. This Noble Phantasm possesses a more terrifying effect should Saber fully release its True Name. It is the one thing that Saber would absolutely refuse to do outside the most dire of circumstances. A Noble Phantasm belonging not to the just, honorable prince summoned under the Saber Class, but to a ruthless ghost who roamed the dark forests of Java, picking off armies one by one under the cover of rain. A Noble Phantasm more fitting of an Assassin, yet one that Saber would possess regardless of Class, considering how closely entwined he was with these tactics. It is a mark of both pride and shame for him.

Upon unleashing its True Name, Saber conjures a bounded field, and the light he conjured prior turns into a massive downpour with powerful winds and raging thunderstrikes. Fog immediately rolls around the area, limitating visibility. The ground dissolves into mud, limiting mobility (reducing the agility of targets by up to two ranks). Furthermore, the longer one remains within this bounded field, the more they find their strength gradually sapped, with symptoms similar to rapidly-advancing malaria or dysentery. Lastly, the most terrifying effect of this Noble Phantasm is that so long as Saber remains standing underneath the rain, he becomes almost completely imperceptible to the senses, requiring certain Skills such as Presence Detection to perceive his movements. As Saber mainly waged his battles in plains and forests, heading indoors would be one way to avoid this Noble Phantasm's effects. Yet doing so may prove easier said than done...

As this Noble Phantasm release involves Saber channeling a portion of the sea goddess' authority into himself despite his lack of divinity, Saber could only maintain this bounded field optimally for about ten minutes. He could push the time limit to fifteen at most, but doing so poses a real chance of killing him due to mana exhaustion. Saber seems highly avoidant, possibly even traumatized, at the thought of unleashing this Noble Phantasm, yet should one find themselves in its receiving end with nothing to protect them from the rain, two other ways to overcome it would be to either defeat Saber as fast as possible (before the super-dysentery becomes too difficult to bear), or find a way to weather the five minutes time limit, even as Saber launches an onslaught of attacks while remaining invisible.

    Lore
Diponegoro (1785-1855) was a Javanese prince who opposed Dutch colonialism in the Java War (1825-1830).

Act 1: The Prince and the Gilded Cage
Diponegoro was born in 1785 as the eldest prince of the Kraton (sultanate) of Yogyakarta, son of Sultan Hamengkubuwono III. As a boy, he bore witness to a number of significant political events in the Dutch East Indies (later known as Indonesia), including the dissolution of the VOC, the British invasion of Java, and the subsequent return to Dutch rule. The Sultan was a close ally of the British, and a staunch opposition of the Dutch. In his youth, Diponegoro frequently assisted his father in political and diplomatic affairs. At this period, his talent was greatly appreciated by the British, to the point Governor General Thomas Stamford Raffles offered him the position of Sultan. The young prince courteously denied this offer, out of respect for his father.

Trouble began to brew in 1814, when the old Sultan died and Java was returned under Dutch rule. The late Sultan's will named Diponegoro as his successor, yet the Dutch ignored this will, instead advocating for the eldest prince's half-brother to take the throne. The result was... less than ideal. The newly-crowned Sultan Hamengkubuwono IV was greatly pro-Dutch. The oppressive policies that had somewhat loosened during British rule was soon reinstated. Dutch allies infiltrated the Kraton, posing as ministers and court advisors. Furthermore, as a devout Muslim, Diponegoro was appalled by the relaxing of religious practices within the royal court. The Kraton of Yogyakarta was rapidly losing its identity; cultural integrity was gradually eroded by colonialism and political ambitions. While the royals enjoyed a life of luxury, commoners were oppressed through exorbitant taxes and forced labor.

Diponegoro repeatedly voiced his concerns within his brother's court, either out of sympathy or religious obligations. His protests went unheard, even as he adopted increasingly stronger stances against the Kraton and the Dutch as a whole. The final straw happened in 1822, when Sultan Hamengkubuwono IV died under mysterious circumstances. According to tradition, Diponegoro should be next in line for the throne. Once again, the Dutch disregarded tradition and crowned the late Sultan's infant son as Sultan Hamengkubuwono V, grooming him to be a puppet ruler for their agenda. Having decided that enough was enough, Diponegoro left the Kraton, at the cost of being exiled from the sultanate and losing his title as prince.

Dutch oppression must end. That much was obvious for him. Perhaps it was out of sympathy for the people, or some religious obligation, or something as petty as envy towards his brother and nephew. There were many reasons for Diponegoro to do what he was about to do, and he wasn't even sure what his true motivations were. The only thing certain was that the people was suffering, and he would fight for their sake. For the moment, that was enough.

    Act 2: Ratu Adil
Dutch rule was becoming unpopular among local farmers because of taxes and crop failures, and among Javanese nobles because the Dutch colonial authorities deprived them of their right to lease land. The people's increasing dissent motivated them to rally under Diponegoro's cause, and within a few months, the exiled prince had assembled a sizable army of farmers, commoners, dissatisfied nobles, and religious figures, all of them standing against Dutch rule.

During this period, Diponegoro traveled across Java to pay his respects to the graves of past rulers and local deities, believing he needed all the help he could get to face such a powerful enemy. It was from these travels that rumors arose of him being Ratu Adil, a just ruler mentioned in old prophecies, one who would finally bring an end to oppression, and prosperity to the people. It was as if his fight belonged not just to himself and the people, but also to past kings, deities, and the will of the island itself.

According to one anecdote, Diponegoro was meditating in a cave near the southern coast of Java when the sea goddess Nyai Roro Kidul appeared before him. According to legend, the goddess was known for seducing men and asking them to be her husband. Those who succumbed to her charms would be dragged into the depths of the sea, dooming them into a watery grave. Surprisingly, Diponegoro resisted her advances. Impressed by his willpower, the goddess agreed to leave him behind, though she promised to offer a certain boon for him for the fight ahead.

Whatever the case, by 1824, Diponegoro's army had become a force to be reckoned with. Among many who joined his army was the Senopati, a title reserved for his closest allies and most skilled commanders. While this rebel army was less well-equipped and less battle-ready compared to Dutch military forces, Diponegoro and his allies had devised a certain strategy to reduce this power gap.

A massive war was brewing, and Diponegoro was at the center of it all.

Act 3: Ghosts in the Forest
The Java War officially began in 1825... if it could even truly be called a war. During the early stages of the war, the Dutch was effectively fighting ghosts; a series of strategic sabotage and assassinations, small regiments inexplicably going missing not long after entering the dark tropical forests of Java, Dutch-occupied villages taken overnight, and so on. When the central Dutch government realized there was someone challenging their rule over the island, they mobilized a large number of armed forces to march across the plains, ready for an all-out battle... yet the battle they chaotic, large-scale battle they anticipated never arrived.

That was Diponegoro's guerrilla tactics. The rebel army stuck to the forests and small villages, avoiding direct confrontation and instead systematically dismantling Dutch forces one step at a time, utilizing knowledge of the terrain, weather conditions, and quick hit-and-run tactics to their advantage. The army's penchant for wearing white robes similar to their leader further cemented them as "ghosts" lurking in the forest.

Faced with this unprecedented threat, the Dutch increased their troops and summoned generals after generals in hopes of crushing the growing insurgency. When these tactics failed, they pleaded for diplomacy. Diponegoro ignored their demands, believing that their oppressors must be absolutely annihilated. And so the first few years of the war concluded with the rebel army holding massive advantage over the Dutch.

Act 4: Those We Leave Behind
The tides of war finally changed when the Dutch summoned one of their most talented generals, Hendrik Merkus De Kock, to the battlefield. The general proposed a different strategy to deal with the so-called "ghosts". At his behest, the army began building more fortified outposts and securing alternative routes to avoid the forest. Furthermore, he assigned a bounty for Diponegoro's head, turning locals against one another and creating a sort of counter-movement against the rebel army.

All the while, the rebel army began to weaken. The Dutch had adapted to their previous tactics, resources were running out, and desertion grew more frequent as people were tempted by rewards offered by the Dutch regarding the rebel army and their leader's plans. Fortunately, Diponegoro remained safe amidst the infighting. However, the cost of war began to weigh heavily in his heart.

The Java War was one of the largest conflicts throughout the history of colonial Indonesia. In five years, the war claimed 8,000 lives from the Dutch army, 7,000 lives from the rebel army, and a total of 200,000 civilian casualties from both sides. Doubts began to fester. Soldiers dying in war would be one thing, but much of these casualties weren't even soldiers. They were average families, young men who wanted to follow his footsteps, and victims of the witch hunts instigated by the general. Diponegoro knew that he couldn't entirely blame himself for these losses, yet he could not deny that the more he fought, the more his enemies would retaliate, not just on himself, but also on unarmed civilians.

Perhaps it would have been possible for Diponegoro to turn the tides once again, but... would it still be worth it? The more he fought, the more he felt like he sacrificed his own humanity for the sake of victory. Even if he were to sacrifice everything and emerge victorious, would there be anything left to rule over by that point? More than a ghost, the people needed a leader; someone to look up to, to guide them across the perilous path ahead. Yet a good leader would not send his people to die- directly or indirectly- the way he did. That's what he believed, at least. Even if his cause was just, the way things were... his father would not have wanted that. His God would not allow it.

    Act 5: To Believe
By 1830, the rebel army was on its last legs. As its leader, Diponegoro began looking into alternative strategies to ensure the army's survival. Then one day in March, the army received an invitation to the town of Magelang to celebrate Eid al-Fitr and discuss the terms of Diponegoro's proposed truce. In the previous year, Eid al-Fitr was the one day the Dutch and the Javanese could cease hostilities, out of respect for religious beliefs. Even so, the circumstances had changed. The invitation seemed like an obvious trap, and Diponegoro's allies strongly warned him against going.

Diponegoro acknowledged their concerns, yet he insisted on going either way. He wanted to believe. Perhaps the Dutch was also burdened by the many lives lost in the war, and together they could put an end to the conflict. It sickened him, to think that he would have to sacrifice his own convictions. To stop a war that he promised to the people, to his predecessors, and to the island itself. Yet if forcefully moving forward would only spill even more of his people's blood... perhaps that was the only way. He wanted to believe that he was doing the right thing, and that the Dutch too would understand the chaos brought upon by this war.

Armed with only his sword at hand, Diponegoro rode alone to Magelang, making an appearance not as a ghost, but simply as the former prince of Kraton Yogyakarta.

...As expected, the truce was nothing more than a trap devised by General De Kock. He was met with an army of soldiers, and finally detained. He gripped his blade tightly as De Kock gloated in front of him, taking his all just to restrain himself. Killing the general now would only cause even more casualties in the future. And so Diponegoro was sentenced to exile on the distant island of Sulawesi, where he would spend the rest of his life. In exchange, the witch hunts stopped, and remnants of the rebel army soon dissolved without their leader.

    Description
A man who earnestly speaks of justice and righteousness while having no idea on how to accomplish them. He knew that oppression was wrong, that his people were suffering, and that he should be the one to lead them against their colonizers. Yet after the bloody conflict that was the Java War, he was no longer sure what kind of leader he should be. With the benefit of hindsight, Saber frequently second-guesses himself. He remains determined in his wish to fight for the sake of justice, yet he wonders if he should have taken a more aggressive approach to crush his enemies before they could retaliate, or if he should have taken a more peaceful approach to minimize casualties.

Due to his lingering doubts, Saber frequently finds himself holding back against most enemies. Not out of arrogance, but out of fear of losing his own humanity in pursuit of his convictions. In fact, it was due to this wish that he manifested under this particular Class. By all accounts, his personality and tactics would be much better suited for an Assassin, a Class that would emphasize on his ruthlessness as a "ghost" lurking in the forests. Despite knowing that, he chose to manifest under the "just and honorable" Saber-Class, simply because he wanted to believe that he would never have to resort to his previous tactics. At this point, even the thought of fully unleashing his Noble Phantasm sickens him, as he deems it too "Assassin-like" for his taste.

Incidentally, in exceedingly rare circumstances, Saber may display a darker side of himself. A merciless warrior who remains eerily silent as he moves under the rain and cuts down armies one by one with brutal yet efficient precision; a man who fully embraces his role not as a "leader", but as a "ghost". Fearing for his humanity, Saber would rather die before reaching that state.

    Relationships
    Alcibiades:
"Say, is it better- or, well, less bad- to regret the things you did, or the things you didn't do? I know there's a saying that you miss 100% of the shots you don't take, but what if making that shot causes even more deaths, and not making it actually saves more people in the long run? If I were to proceed inspite of it all... how long would it take until I become no different from those I swore to destroy? I believe you're quite familiar with the dilemma, yes?"

    Other Muslim Heroic Spirits:
"I'd be lying to say that the Java War wasn't motivated by religion, to a certain extent. I did call it a holy war at one point, after all. Even now, I have no qualms about embracing my faith and surrendering my penultimate fate to God. It's just that, potentially blasphemous as it may sound... I couldn't say the same about my people. I mean, had I emerged out of that war victorious, or at the very least alive, could I look at the grieving families in the eyes and say they lost their sons, their husbands, or their fathers as part of some greater plan ordained by God? Casualties are inevitable when it comes to war, but in such situations... I don't think I could have done such a thing."

    Anna Anderson, Yamaoka Tesshu:
"Living for the sake of someone else does get tiring after a while. Sometimes I wish I could have fought, bled, and died in my own terms, without getting others into that mess. It would have been a very short, yet very liberating life. But in doing that, the people would continue to suffer, and foolish as it was, I just couldn't let that happen, for reasons that even I don't fully understand. Ah, this whole prophecized hero-ing thing is a real pain, I tell you!"

    Mathurine de Vallois:
"You, who wanted to believe that you could be something more, and me, who wanted to believe that there's no need for myself to be anything more... how tragically poetic! Let's share a drink to our hopeless dreams. Here's to believing."

    Martha Christina Tiahahu:
"So they even had the Mollucan islands under their control... more importantly, what on earth are you doing here? A girl your age should be off playing with your friends, or partaking in the local festivities instead of- oh. Oh no. Don't tell me... No, no, no. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry... I couldn't save you."

    Kandita/Nyai Roro Kidul:
"It's you. The lady from the cave back then. Marriage is still off the table, especially considering the situation we're currently in. Eh? You're... not exactly her? I see. Of course, there's no way she'd actually come here anyway, not after the bloody, catastrophic failure that was the Java War. It would be foolish of me to think otherwise."

    Underworld deities:
"I do not fear death. It's only natural for a warrior to die, especially in a war of his own making. Rather, I fear losing my own humanity before then. After all, when you've sacrificed everything for the sake of your goal, thrown away your guiding principles, and became the very thing you wanted to protect your people from... can you still call that living?"

    Airlangga, Ken Arok, Raden Wijaya:
"My esteemed predecessors... Imagine having an entire prophecy to your name, so many people fighting beside you, be it physically or in spirit, so many prayers, hopes, and expectations... only to fail spectacularly. Er, that's not to say that my predecessors didn't face their fair share of hardships, as I'm sure they did, it's just... at the very least, they actually managed to accomplish the things they set out to do. Aah, I really do owe everyone an apology, huh?"

    General De Kock:
"Move. First and final warning. You don't want to make me do this."

    Osakabehime, Tomoe Gozen, Ganesha:
"That man in white... is a scary one."
"Let me explain, Master, last night, we invited him for a round of C*v VI, and for lack of a better term..."
"He sucked. Yeah, that's it. He just kept one small settlement and built a bunch of basic facilities to sustain his people."
"We went easy on him since it was his first time playing, but it's like he missed the entire point of the game and went on to simulate a secluded life in the forest."
"But then the moment he realized what this game is all about, and that no one actually dies in these games... he just turned into an entirely different person!"
"Yup! He basically speedran the entire game and wiped the floor with all three of us, despite initially being left way behind us!"
"It's like he went into a trance, and only returned to his senses the moment he won. Then he profusely apologized to us for some reason."
"If anything, we want to learn from him!"

    Bond CE

The end of the Java War, March 28th, 1830.

According to both artists and historians, these two paintings depicted two very different ways the event was perceived.

The first was done by Dutch painter Nicolaas Pieneman.
There, Diponegoro was depicted with a look of resignment upon his face, having surrendered himself to the Dutch.
It was the end of a long yet fruitless dream, a war that claimed the lives of thousands.

The second was done by Javanese painter Raden Saleh.
There, Diponegoro was depicted with a scornful, defiant expression, having been deceived by the Dutch's promise of a truce.
It was a new beginning, a fleeting dream that rejuvenated the downtrodden spirits of the nation with promises of a better future.

    ---

Eh? Which one is more accurate, you ask? Hmm... who knows? Maybe they just caught me at a different angle. Besides, when this fancy dinner party you're invited to turned out to be an ambush from your enemies, I'm sure whatever face you made then would be the least of your concerns.

Still... these two paintings do bring back some memories.

I lived a life full of regrets.
Even now, I can still imagine a thousand ways I could have done things differently, and a thousand ways things could have unfolded, for better or worse.

Maybe I wasn't hard enough. Maybe I should have crushed them all from the very beginning.
Maybe I went too far. Maybe I should have prioritized the people's safety over my definition of victory.

Thoughts like those continue to plague my mind.
If I were given a chance to redo everything, I'd be sure to do things differently this time around.
There's so many new tactics I want to try after all, with the benefit of hindsight.

But at the root of it all, no matter how I decided to do things, no matter how differently things could have unfolded...
At the root of it all...
I still want to save them.

    Creator's Notes
With this, all the pieces are set in place for... something.

    • Reading about him, he has a lot of potential NPs in the other Classes.
      • As a Lancer, he'd have a spear with the innate ability to sense danger, probably works similar to a spider-sense.
      • As a Rider, he could summon shadows of his past companions to fight beside him, similar to Richard's Rounds of Lionheart.
      • As an Assassin, based on legends of his remaining followers continuing to don his iconic white robes in battle, he could summon and command a large number of white-robed wraiths as decoys or familiars.
      • As a Caster, he wrote a collection of poems and a pseudo-historical chronicle regarding the history of Java and its connections to Islam. This Class would probably emphasize on his more religious aspects, as well as his role as "representative to the will of the island".
      • However, regardless of Class, he will always have a second NP with the whole "becoming invisible and pretty much turning into a slasher villain under the rain" thing due to how central this particular tactic was in his campaigns. With the exception of Assassin!Diponegoro (representing his most ruthless "ghost" aspect), this second NP is like a mark of shame for him, and he'd always refuse to use it outside of very rare circumstances.

    • A guy who purposefully chooses to be summoned under a suboptimal Class, simply because he wanted to believe that there's no need for him to be brutally ruthless anymore, fearing what would happen if he's pushed even further... Both the angsty angel on my left shoulder and the edgy devil on my right shoulder wants me to write a situation where he decides to stop holding back for whatever reason. We shall see.

Now onto my secret santa entry. The prompts are... more challenging than I expected. Might have to go back to my writing cave again for a while.

I knew you were working on something big. Your radio silence is always a hint that you finish a sheet.
Guess you are working on a Sg or LB or whatever. Looking forward to that one too.
So many trying their hands on this stuff. Good times to be reading here.

    Ave, stranger.

I address this letter to no particular person. I have written a great deal of letters: some to my learned friends in Rome, historians and philosophers. Some to less-learned but not therefore less-beloved friends, such as Martialis. Sometimes I have even had the pleasure of writing to Emperors.

I mention this not to brag, but merely to establish this: if I wished for this letter to be read, I would have known where to send it. But I do not wish for this letter to be read. That said, I found myself needing to write it nonetheless.

If you, stranger, have somehow found this in the scraps that I have asked to be scattered and burned upon my death, it speaks to some higher force pointing you towards this thing. Allow me to hope that it will absolve you, then, of this higher power's attentions, much as I wrote it to absolve me of my experiences in the incident of my uncle's death.

First, I must tell you that if you have ever read my letter to Publius Cornelius Tacitus, or the account he has composed on it, you have a generally accurate reporting of the facts such as I know them. However, this reporting is woefully incomplete, missing one crucial fact.

The volcano erupted; this is true. From the highest tip of the Vesuvius an enormous cloud of unusual shape appeared. What my uncle, in his last moments before departure, swore me never to mention is that the cloud writhed with a ghastly rhythm, like a living thing.

Yes, I am still sure of what I saw that day. That enormous plume of deadly-hot ash took on horrible, terrible shapes which I cannot bring myself to recall, even on the rare occasions I am brave enough to remember the event at all.

My uncle, upon seeing this damned thing, shared my fear, my horror. But, quite differently from me, he also had a keen interest in this phenomenon. It was this same interest in all knowledge that drove him to wrote the Naturalis Historia, this same interest that drove him to collect every facet of knowledge that man had ever gathered; this same interest that was to lead him into the disaster, in order to study this most horrifying of beasts, and to lead him to be recorded into the books of history forever.

The beast I refer to, which my uncle told me with forced gaiety he hoped to record in the final pages of his encyclopedia, is one not of this Earth. Of that I am sure, and ancient records that I have found confirm this - it is something from beyond the stars. If, as the motto goes, 'per aspera ad astra' - through suffering we reach the stars - then I shudder to imagine what we will find there...

Here the letter abruptly cuts off. At its edges it is singed, rendering the rest of the text illegible.

    Gaius Plinius Secundus
    Pliny the Elder, C'thalpa

    Class: Foreigner
    Alternate Classes: Caster, Ruler, Watcher

    STRENGTH: C
    ENDURANCE: C
    AGILITY: D
    MANA: A+
    LUCK: B
    NOBLE PHANTASM: A

    Bond 1

Gaius Plinius Secundus - more commonly known as Pliny the Elder - was a Roman naturalist, author, philosopher, and military commander. Most of his work has now been lost, but his most important work survives: the Naturalis Historia, an encyclopedia of all ancient knowledge. Composed of ten volumes of 37 books, it is one of the largest single works to have survived fully intact.

However, it is unfortunately incomplete. By mere happenstance, Pliny the Elder happened to be near the town of Stabiae when Mount Vesuvius erupted, where he then perished. As such, though the Naturalis Historia was published two years before Pliny's death, the final revisions to the Naturalis Historia were never made.

After Pliny the Elder's death, his testament gave everything to his nephew, who then also assumed the name Gaius Plinius Secundus and is therefore called Plinius the Younger. His letter to the historian Tacitus, wherein he describes his uncle's death, is of particular interest, though it seems that perhaps it was not entirely complete...?

    Bond 2

    Height/Weight: 176cm / 110kg
    Source: Roman History...?
    Region: Italy
    Alignment: True Neutral
    Gender: Male

"When I was alive, to soar in the air like a bird was the dream of madmen who wished to encroach on the domains of the gods. Now I find it has become commonplace. Why then can Outer Gods and their ilk not be understood by man, in the end?"

    Bond 3

Mount Vesuvius did erupt; this is incontrovertible fact. Beginning with fissures in the mountain two days before the eruption that released ash and smoke, eventually the mountain violently launched a deadly cloud of superheated gas up to 33 km high that made the afternoon sun disappear. Molten rocks, pumice and ash were fired out, with up to 1.5 million tons a second. The thermal energy of the blast was a hundred thousand times that of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Thousands, possibly up to tens of thousands, died, either by being crushed by rock, suffocating on burning ash, or burning by being buried underneath the pyroclastic flow of magma. Then came light quakes; then came a tsunami that hit the Bay of Naples.

C'thalpa - the Internal One, an immense living mass of magma and lava - had stirred, and a mere fragment of its consciousness had set Vesuvius to erupting, riding the wave of molten death to inspect the world around it, killing everything in its way. What it found there was the stars still being wrong for its full awakening, and it retreated back into slumber before long.

    Bond 4

Pliny, there at the scene, not only saw the volcano erupt, but could see C'thalpa riding the magma - could see the magma writhing in unnatural, living shapes as it configured itself into a thousand eldritch forms to consult with the stars and the others of its kind who were awake.

And he studied it. Where others ran for their lives, thirst for knowledge pulled him inexorably closer to the Outer God. Even as he sent his nephew away for fear of his life, he himself sailed closer to the eruption. Even when C'talpha cast a momentary curious gaze in his direction, he simply looked back - and died, with a pen in one hand and paper in the other.

Still, that was enough to engrave the meeting on the Throne of Heroes. His dogged refusal to acknowledge C'thalpa as being beyond understanding, and his attempt to study it, allowed Pliny the Elder to be summoned as a Foreigner.

    Bond 5

    Insanity B
The first Class Skill of Foreigners. A sort of "mental pollution" that influences not only the Servant but also spreads like a contagion into the minds of others and even seeps like a poison into the environment.

An insanity born from the desire to gather all knowledge, and upon realizing that there are things beyond the knowing of mortal men, to simply take this as a challenge to study these, as well. 'The mind of man cannot see things that the world itself cannot contain' (Naturalis Historia, book 2); if the mind of man sees things, then therefore the world must contain them; if the world contains something, then it can be understood.

    Existence Outside the Domain E
The second Class Skill of Foreigners, which would normally allow Foreigner to use some of the Authority of his 'patron'. At this rank, however, he merely has some control over lava, fire, and earth.

However, there are three reasons the rank of this skill is so low. First, the Outer God took no real note of Pliny; second, it has long slumbered near the Earth's mantle, resulting in some acclimatization; third, he fundamentally denies its nature as being out of this world.

    Bond 6

    Expert of Many Specializations A+
As the author of what some consider to be the first ever encyclopedia, Foreigner boasts wide knowledge in every field he knew of. This ranges from astronomy, mathematics, geography, ethnography, zoology, botany, agriculture, mineralogy, sculpture, art, and precious stones to medicine, magic, and more.

Foreigner can make use of this knowledge freely, and can recall any of this information instantly without requiring a Luck check. By recording what he deems worthy of knowing in his copy of the Naturalis Historia, he can even update the knowledge that is available to him upon his next summoning.

    Fortes Fortuna Iuvat C
The Latin for "fortune favours the bold", said to be Foreigner's last words, now transformed into a Skill that does exactly what it says it does. As long as Pliny acts in a manner that is brave or bold - by his definition - he gains the effects of Bravery, meaning increased resistance against others' mental interference, as well as gaining a rank up to his Luck stat.

The quote itself is often rephrased, sometimes with effectively the same meaning but sometimes with others: so Democrites said that 'boldness is the beginning of action, but fortune controls how it ends', and Louis Pasteur remarked that 'in the field of observation, chance favours only the prepared mind'.

    Mana Eruption (Volcano) C
A variant of Mana Burst. By layering mana upon itself and compressing the result, it becomes possible to expel greater amounts of power at once without actually expending more power. However, this comes with the downsides of requiring more buildup before activation, as well as requiring higher concentration to make sure the power does not explode before it is intended to.

A Skill Foreigner has due to the fact that he witnessed the eruption of Mount Vesuvius from closeby. These insights, combined with his history of being a soldier and his existing knowledge of similar techniques due to the Naturalis Historia, resulted in this technique.

    Bond 7

To Study All Things In This World, Ascend Beyond Madness
    Supernaturalis Historia

    Rank: B+
    Type: Anti-World
    Range: 1

A Noble Phantasm that was formed by the impressive feat of creating the Naturalis Historia; deformed by the realization that there are things in this world beyond human understanding; reformed by the decision to then simply record these things as well.

It is in essence still an encylopedia, except that whereas before it was written in Latin it is now written in a language no man has ever spoken, which seems to wriggle across the page before your eyes. Only Foreigner can read it, and it is best that he never tries to read its contents aloud, because the encyclopedia now contains eldritch knowledge rivalled only by the Book of Eibon or the Necronomicon, in addition to all of its regular knowledge.

The Historia is best used as a source of knowledge, rather than as a direct combat instrument. It is best to take care, however: if the knowledge gleaned from C'talpha has a chance to spread, relentless horror can be the only result.

    E Monte Latissimae Flammae Relucebant
    Vesuvius Conflagration

    Rank: A+
    Type: Anti-Country
    Range: 1

A Noble Phantasm that simply replicates the eruption of Mount Vesuvius on a far, far smaller scale. Beginning with minor tremors in an area about 10 km wide, activation of the Noble Phantasm then results in the earth cracking open to release ash and smoke.

A full day after activation, the true eruption comes, as the center of the chosen target area suddenly spews forth a high-altitude column from which ash and pumice begin to fall, followed by the earth breaking open to reveal magma underneath, incinerating all within its path. As the cloud of superheated ash begins to blot out the sky, the magma and the fires becoming the only sources of light until the eruption ends hours later.

In short, the Noble Phantasm is horrifying in scale and duration. It is therefore for the best that Foreigner refuses to activate it even in the most desperate situations, as the loss of life in the area would be utterly cataclysmic. Even should he be forced to do so, the expenditure of resources, time and effort required to activate the Noble Phantasm makes it ill-suited to actually be used in any setting.

    Bond 8

    Nero:
"Ah, Your Majesty. You've recovered from your, ah... mental difficulties? 'Umu', you say? Hm. Not quite, then. Just a moment, I think I've got a remedy for just this described in the Historia somewhere..."

    Vespasian:
"Ave, imperator! A pleasure to see you - it truly is. Did you like my work? Ah, my Class? Don't worry about it, sir. Sometimes the path for knowledge leads me to strange places. A momentary distraction, though I wish there was some sort of fireproofed paper."

    Pliny the Younger:
"My boy! It does an old man good, seeing you. Look at what a fine young man you've become. I could not have picked a better man to follow in my footsteps."

    Creator Notes:
Here's my own take on the tradition of an NYE Foreigner. Cast kind of in the same mold as my Li Bai, except that the connection to the Outer God is less forced here (I think, at least) and I don't quote outright from the texts, because Pliny the Elder is seriously longwinded.

once I read the intro line with Uncle, I knew it is about Pliny. I considered making him a Foreigner too, tho for another reason. I luckily discarded the idea.
An interesting take on him. I would personally not do this God, because it is pretty recent (1988), but ignoring that the connection is neat. Tho if there is no real connection between them other than mere glimpses, then imo he would be on the foreigner-level of Gilles.
    Still, nice sheet.

    Caster Princess Skuld

Hi first time posting in this thread and I really like making OC Servants and have some I've created already so... yeah!

    Caster
    Skuld the Half-Elven Princess
Click to see my mediocre sketch

    Alignment: Chaotic Evil
    Region: Scandinavia
    Gender: Female
    Height: 145cm
    Weight: 37kg
Likes: Handsome men and beautiful girls who are easily manipulated, being praised, causing pain
Dislike: Feeling Pain, being ignored, her half-brother

    Parameters:
    Strength: D
    Endurance: E
    Agility: C
    Mana: A+
    Luck: C
    Noble Phantasm: A

    Class Skills:
    Item Construction: C
Because she lacked focus on the creation of items, Caster's capacity in Item Construction is largely limited to the production of objects that assist in Necromancy.

    Territory Creation:
    A
A magus from the Age of Gods, Caster has an excellent capability to create a temple for use as her personal base of operations.

    Personal Skills:
    Necromancy: A
A skill pertaining specifically to the resurrection and manipulation of the dead. At a rank of A, permits the free manipulation of all corpses Caster is able to acquire regardless of their nature. In order to take revenge on her family on behalf of her mother, Caster warped the island of Oland into a nightmarish land of corpses and slaughtered her half-brother and his companions. Only a single man survived.

    Elven Grace:
    C
A skill which denotes Caster as one who possesses the inhuman blood of the Elves of Norse Mythology. A fascination-type effect of particular intensity. Caster's manipulations are all the more coercive and require considerable mental fortitude to resist. Caster's mother was a beautiful elf who was violated by her father, and on discovering the true nature of her parentage she swore vengeance for this act of brutality.

    Affinity for Spirits:
    C
The capacity to naturally summon and command numerous spirits, including low-ranking elementals. Caster's army was not merely composed of the dead, but also of numerous spirits and other entities she had coerced into her service.

    Noble Phantasms:
    Darkness Nightmare Capital
    Oland
    Rank: B
    Type: Bounded Field
    Range: 1-60
Maximum Number of Targets: 1000 people
A bounded field that recreates not the land of Oland itself, but rather the conditions and status of the island as it was during Caster's brief reign. Rather then seeing it as a kingdom to govern, Caster instead saw it as yet another tool to be utilized by her for the purposes of revenge. The kingdom was warped into a dark land of shadow and cold filled with corpses and monsters. A nightmare capital of the dead that existed for the sole purpose of slaughtering Caster's half-brother, Hrolfr Kraki. Requiring considerable time to establish due to its nature as a replication of a kingdom that has long disappeared, Oland's chief benefit is in allowing Caster to summon portions of her undead army at will. Rather than being restricted to the raising of modern dead, or of what human undead she is able to conjure, this Noble Phantasm permits the manifestation of undead wyverns, giants, trolls, and even an undead dragon. Of course, her undead are far weaker then they would have been while alive, but that certainly does not mean they do not pose a considerable threat. Within the bounded field there is no light, and temperatures are well below freezing. A luck check is required for Servants to avoid a rank down in physical parameters. The terrain within the bounded field is also considered to be Caster's kingdom, permitting her a Staging Ground bonus.

    The Elven Princess's Heinous Maneater
    Great Quilled Boar
    Rank: A
    Type: Anti-Army:
    Range: 1-50
Maximum Number of Targets: 100 People
The greatest and most terrible monster among all the abominable creatures in Caster's army, which saw the battle that ended with the dead of Hrolfr Kraki and his companions. An abominable maneater, the Great Quilled Boar is a phantasmal beast that subsists on devouring flesh. Its skin is composed of interlocking quills, and in its eye sockets there burns fire. It is capable of unleashing its quills as projectiles, and its razor sharp tusks and thundering hooves can destroy even sturdy targets. Even its teeth are a sharp as swords, and its hunger for human flesh drives it on and on to search for victims. Indeed, the monster barely heeds Caster's commands, and instead will seek out humans to devour when summoned. This renders the abominable creature barely controllable, and thus Caster is reluctant to summon it unless she finds it absolutely necessary.

Lore: A half-sister to the legendary Hrolfr Kraki, of the Hrolfs Saga Kraka. She was born as a result of Hrolfr's father, Helgi, violating her mother. As a baby she suddenly appeared as if abandoned before her father, who reluctantly had her raised as part of his family, having forgotten his act of brutality entirely but understanding that he had some kinship to the child. As a child, Skuld was uniquely gifted in regards to her charm and in the practice of Scandinavian magecraft, or seiðr. Without any knowledge of her origins, Skuld was an innocent girl who regarded the world around her without malice, though she did grow increasingly aware of her own ability to manipulate others she did not knowingly intend to cause harm. This changed when she entered her teens, and had an encounter with her mother. Whether she questioned her mother on the matter of her birth, or if her mother simply told her, Skuld learned of her true origin and was horrified. Her horror became anger towards the human side of her family, and she began to plot to take revenge on behalf of her mother. Whether her mother intended for this outcome or simply desired to see her daughter is impossible to know.

Securing her marriage to Heoroward, she began to turn him against her half-brother, who reigned as King of Denmark while Heoroward ruled as a lower King of the island of Oland beneath him. While she was not entirely without affection for her husband, she viewed her use of him as a tool to be a priority over her marriage. Convincing her husband to aid in her rebellion, Skuld used Oland to build a great army of undead, spirits, and phantasmal beasts. She cloaked the island in darkness and cold in order to hide her forces from the mainland, and eventually launched an attack on the King of Denmark and his companions. Though they fought long and hard, Skuld's necromancy allowed her to raise the dead over and over and eventually she slew Hrolfr and his companions with overwhelming numbers. However, her husband perished in the same battle. She was not without remorse over his death, but the satisfaction of having claimed victory far outweighed what ever grief she felt.

Her victory was short-lived, as a single man among Hroflr's companions survived, and planned revenge with the Queen of Sweden. After a brief rule of Denmark, Skuld was deposed and captured. Her last moments were in utter agony as she was tortured to death, cursing the blood of Denmark and Sweden's royalty until she breathed her last.

Skuld is a cruel and callous princess, fitting the image of a clever and confident young rich girl who uses her charms to destroy others. She is arrogant and confident in herself, a wicked seductress who will eagerly use others to achieve her goals without a second though. Both the living and the dead are considered to be tools by her, albeit in different ways. And yet in spite of all this, she is perhaps far too eager to seek praise and appreciation from her Master. In spite of deriding them as her subject who should be serving her, she will also insist they praise all she does. Masters who do so, and do not act in a manner she disapproves of, will find themselves earning the Elven Princess's good graces surprisingly easily. Those she takes special liking towards may even be raised to the level of a 'special' subject whom she takes great care towards. Even those Skuld feels some level of affection towards will still find themselves targets of a girl who both seduces and mocks, a sadist who enjoys making others squirm, and a manipulator whose words could always have a double meaning.

In spite of this behavior as a confident seductress, Skuld is surprisingly self-conscious about her own petite figure. It is best not to mention such things to her.

Notes: I actually can't find the source I got the Great Quilled Boar from anymore, which makes me wonder if it was ever part of the myth in the first place. Still, I'm kind of reluctant to get rid of it since I think it suits her lore well.

For your first sheet that is really impressive! Your doodle too, looks good! Been a while he had someone that made their on FC
You have a nice style of writing, formatting is simple yet unique (i suggest a line of space between skills), you get to the point and paint a nice picture of your servant.
    A job well done.
You already use imgur, so use the bbcode function and show us your art. If you are still shy about it you can hide it in the SPOILER tag instead.
Looking forward to more of you works

Thank you! I really really enjoy making original Servants, so it really makes me happy the first one I've posted on here has come out so well. There's something about interpreting myths and history as part of the Nasuverse that's just really fun.

BBthotep and her event are also the best and only source about Nyarl in TM.
What lore? That Nasu once played Demonbane and said Nyarly is just like BB? Aka a bragard that loses to human dick

I really don't remember anything aside from "I am a genius! Oh no!" Twinmyniad. Which happens like all the time BB tries playing villain, she overshoots and fucks it up because she gets arrogant and because she wants to lose and be proven wrong deep down

He is a trisckster who likes to drives humans to self-destruction just to test them and who sees BB as a kindred spirit. He's willing to lend power just to mess around with humans. His host possesses the trait of eroding reality. He is connected to eclipses/dark side of the moon and the Third Eye. He has autorithy over manipulating time and gaining luck. He's able to peek into our universe despite being outside of it... I think that's pretty much it.

As i want to be finding back to my creative paths here is a servant inspired by an article in a history magazine i read during the last days \/

    "Albert Johnson"
    (Faker)

" I am Albert Johnson , further intel is not neccesary"

    Height: 184 cm
    Origin: Canada ?
    Alignment:Variable
    Attributes: Variable
    Weapons: shotgun, Rifles,several Knifes ,a Machete , a Axe , traps ,spiked boots , a heavy backpack, plus ... ?
    Other qualifying Classes:Assassin,Berserker,Watcher ?
Likes:Soltitude , being unbothered , untouched dense forrests
Dislikes:being bothered , being forced to interact with other
    Compatible Masters: Kiritsugo Emiya,Maiya Hisau

    Parameter :

    Strenght: D+~B+ Endurance:C~A+
    Agility:C+~A+ Luck: E~A+++
    Mana:C~B++ NP:EX

    Demeanor withhin a Grailwar
They are foremost mostly just caring in to be seeking Soltitude. Their interst in human settlements is ratheer non existent as they are avoiding cities or vilages and instead roaming in Wilderness like Forrests as far away of Humane company as possible ,should that be in heavily urbanised areas or Great Cities be impossible and they are forced to stay such Human Settlements are they borderline berserker like in their short temperedness despite that they are perfectly able to reasoning and are having a able intellect are they unhinged in theSettlements and are prone to attack other parties of the Grailwar in fits of paranoia also are they then tending lash out at other non involved humans .

In Areas where it is possible are they roaming far away of settlements or Houses and they are rather keep a distance of the other participants then to confront them if they are forced into a confrontation and combat are they either attemoting to flee as fast as possible from the situation and are from te distance are trying to force the opponents to flee then are some moments where theyare enganging direct melee combat and are prone to deadly pragmatic moves as if they are exexcuting a traitor .

Also are some times prone to react aggressive on some other servants during in other moments they couldn't care less.

Mostly is their way to fight to lure them into their traps and assaults, during in some cases they are attacked from wide distance like a pro sniper ,then in others does "he" prefer to wait and ambush them with his Machete or Axe like an assaulting Puma . Then are moments where they utilize non mundane means like that they are using Magecraft or other reality warping abbillities.

Though like said are their interest in the other Grailwar parties minimal and that they are no servant that vould work in great Alliances as for force them with working with another servant are either immediat strategic neccesary like a Enemy that threats them , Command Seals , the absolute security of their Master , though the first case will they in the moment when their Security is sufficient and the enemy is no threat are they rather quickly fights for themselves and in the last only if their relationsip has reachd a certain point .

    Skills
    Class-skills:

    Camouflage:EX
Due to that never could his true Identity conffirmed and several explanation stories coursed through the papers of their time and the medias of our Age. So is he able to show others fake Parameter ,skills and class freely . So can he mimic at this skill all classes even non standards like the infamous Avenger ,the seldom Gatekeeper or even such exotic and miraculous classes like Saver,Forreigner or Remainer .As well can with the help of his first noblephantasm even the classkills themselves be imitated or may be ... ?

I have my reasons to not spot out my secrets and past ,i dont bother you aslong as you dont step on my shoes.

    Territory Infrigiment(Wraith):B+
Nrmaly skill of the Watcher class but due to Fakers special states has he obtained this skill as by product of his noblephantasm . "Johnson" was known for bypass inhumane distances withhin short timeframes aswell even a 21 Meter high Mountain pass without that the Patrols and Guards on the watch oints could notice him.

This version allows him to bypass even strong Magic Barriers undetected aswell functions as Presence concealment of the same Rank .

"...." * he silently gazes in the distance without making any gesticular movements.

    Magic Resistence: C
Despite the state as modern servant has he retained an mysterious staet that even the modern forensic can just enforce his mystery ,aswell as during the time of his hunt he were purported to be a "overnatural superhuman" lets him obtain a degree in Magic Resistence.

    Personal skills:

    Single Mindedness: A+
Albeit many things are still a mystery about him his over bording on fanatism bordering feeling of Determination for Solitarity warants this ranking ,this allows "him" step beyond overhumanly limits and allows him to endure vast pains and inyuries.

    Mindshift: C
Denotes the Mentality Faker possess which is consisting of several perhaps heavy different personalities which also causes that his voice has certain differences like accent , certain spech patterns like intricate word selection , blunt sharp words or even femine spech patterns amongst the personas that are appearing are : a militaric seemingly individual that is like an mistrusting cautious War veteran that experienced deepest personal betrayal , a bussiness orientated person which found only value in the calm nature , other time is "he" a victim of tragic love as nostalgic melancholic individual ,during in other moments a deep misanthropic hermit which cant stand human company. All in all the sole personal trait that remains constant is the desire to remain in Soltitude.

    Disengage:A
He was infamous for his prowess in evasion of the Mounties which couldnt grasp him , so that he traveled hundreds of kilometres without that anyone noticed . as during nearly all encounters he were able to unharmed escape from the scene . So cant he not only escape of a combat but also return to a state before the Combat started .

    Trap- handling :B
Denotes the expertise and capability in creating and using Traps , in the B Rank is the construction of more complex Traps and their Masterfull preparation possible . Aswell the noticing , dodging aswell neutralizing of opponent traps aswell to a degree the repurposing of said objects (magical natured are possible).

    Golden Rule : E+
Despite that its not known where his money came from , as some explanation theories mentioned a broke bussinessmen or bank thief , does it grants Faker an slightly better luck in the obtaining of specially small money amounts aswell that he is summoned with a amount of country money that is sufficient for beverage or neccesary goods like gadgets or tools .

"You want something to eat okay here have some cash for that you can fill you guts now dont bother me ..."

    Noblephantasm
    Mystery Trigger
    Phantom Trapper

    EX
    Anti-Unit(self)

Is the first Noblephantasm of Faker which resolves around their identity which is still not know and this Noblephantasm is the reason of their Faker class Qualification as there are somemany possibilitiees of which one could be the rightfull one in that summoned in that class it caused a small paradoxon in that "each possible version of Albert Johnson is at the same time real and false " regardless of a line which causes that they are not only facing mental but also more substancial changes like that there physical stature is changing alongside their Parameter like that there are some "forms" which are rather srcawny and hampered where their parameter are more similar like a weak Assassin class servant during there are also some with well pronounced musculature where there Parameter are equal to top direct combat servants of the Knight or Berserker classes.

Also are abbillities fluctuating like once does they display combat related skills like Eye of mind or instinct ,then rather strategic and tatcical prowess like an retired spy , then are moments where they certain luring abbillities to lure their opponents in their traps during which their shape is femine (?!) under their heavy Clothes , and then are even moments were it seems that the individual is capable of using powerfull Magecraft of high calibre or some other paranormal abbillities that are reminding on Caster or perhaps even Forreiggner class servant abbillities .

This Noblephantasm is activating itself either during or outside Combat situations without a certain outsiide influence although is it possible that certain opponents or situations are somehow causing that specific "forms" are manifesting themselves and the usage of a Command Seal may cause the forcible selection of an form to appear however each individual is greatly angered upon this shackle.

"The Great War ! (You wont get me there !)"

"(The Wandering Sea , no you will not find me !) Be carefull if you are spoting moving Mountains ! "

    Specters of the Rates River
    B
    Anti-Army
Is the crystalisation of the numerous Rumors taken form , that normaly would allows to manifest several Versions of Albert but due to the actual class is this Noblephantasm only forcibly useable through a Command Seal and its consequences are rather undetermined. .

    Notes Explanations

So this is my first servant in the year as i want to be more active then the last time and try to better my standinng as often i get the feeling i am not respected or aknowledge as Servant and Story Creator , however as i read of that figure in a Magizine where i remembered abot the version that Shiki pon made some yers ago and i get inspirations for this servant idea ,about his Noblephantasm you can say that it lets them be a moving Singularity point as they are even a mystery to the world around them .
