Eh, I think that's missing some of the point. A Pretender isn't just someone literally only pretending to be something or lying, because then anyone would fit at some point. Pretender is someone who goes so far into the pretense and lies that they trick even the world and their own soul. Someone who completely takes on the role of someone else, mired in lies.

When Femlin says she's his sister, the way she does it is like "Who am I? Uhh..... his sister... Yeah! That's it! I'm his sister! His little sister! Did I mention I'm his sister!?"
That's hardly the words and demeanor of someone who tricked the world and their own soul. "She's Merlin's sister" seems like an obvious enough red herring. Not to mention, it doesn't even answer the real question: if she's pretending to be Merlin's sister, then who is she really?

I think his reasoning is similar to how MHXX is Foreigner becuz ALIENZ. Not the first time we've seen gags being the reasoning for summer servants, like how summer Okita got a Foreigner class skill just because.

Considering she's a summer servant I don't think we should look too deeply into her being a Pretender, honestly. Maybe I'm wrong but I doubt summer servants are very strict when coming up with reasons for a class.

If she were Pretender under other circumstances it'd be hella suspicious, but given the context I really do think "I'm Merlin's sister!" is enough.

Jesus, nearly everybody in my FL has her at 120 or in their way to 120. My own one feels so weak in comparison LOL.
