I find it rather hard to believe there won't be ANY new Servants in December.

Is that really hard to believe? You have lotto now, lasts 3 weeks (so ends like start of Dec), and you already know/have the servants from it.
Then Rt7 which doesn't have new servants, just upgrades.
Dead week or strengthens or HQ or something for another week before LB7, in which you'll see all the new servants but won't be able to roll them until later when everyone's had a fair chance of reading first.
