I'm just looking forward to how they spin it. Fake it until you make it.
"Everything is just fine!!"
*Looks over shoulder to see the dev room in shambles, fashioned into a makeshift dorm, withcorpsessleeping ppl strewn all over the makeshift beds, chairs and tables*
burn your dread you coward
I do feel bad for the developers that have to work on this poorly coded game with bad management, all my frustrations are directed at the higher ups and Kanou who will of course offer no transparency, and probably won't try to make things smoother and better in the future, or offer compensation.
It's so much the delays (though they are annoying), it's the reticence that I despise the most.
just be honest with your fans, say you're struggling and sincerely apologize, people will understand
Honestly, just saying "We fucked up, things are delayed because of this and that, but we are striving towards improving by changing our priorities, we still want to do strengthenings, animation updates and such, and provide a roadmap and proper scheduling in the future" would go a long way, but they will probably pretend it's all fine, and it kinda is because it makes big bucks anyhow.
The priest was waiting for the arrival of the princess, who was only an enemy of all of them.
For the priest, the golden princess was the one and only main heroine.
Everyone else was unworthy of his respect, no matter how strong they were.
Tsukihime 2 Prelude III
I don't see why it would.
and it kinda is because it makes big bucks anyhow.Fucking Consoooomers...
How would it? Unless they were so strapped that they had to cut things entirely I guess. He's talking about presentation and delivery(flubbed hardcore) which absolutely matters regarding how you experience something. So what you're saying is the delay is not likely to affect the story and lore?
Will Lasengle ever learn to stop promising stuff that they aren't absolutely CERTAIN they can deliver? Properly? How many times now has this habit screwed them over?
They already started to do some. Them not showing silhouettes for this year was a decent move given this mess of a schedule.
I'm still surprised that they didn't plan an event in-between. Not even a Valentine's event just to let people take their minds off Part 2 for a bit. It would be 2 weeks-long, started on the 4th/11th and would've given them the time they need to work things out. We already know it's slated for late January meaning that it's already eating into Valentine's period a bit, if not a lot with how many potential banners to be had. So, moving it forward would've been fine. Unless that's not done yet either.

Witness The Power Of The... Suicide Squad?
If they don't have the apparent time or resources to even pull out reruns just to fill time, what makes you think they could just easily whip up a whole new event to fill time? Even if you reuse all sprites and backgrounds and don't even release a new servant, after it is written (which doesn't take actual dev time, sure) several people still need to put the whole thing together, inserting the script (I'm pretty sure we know the writers just write the script normally and someone has to convert it to a game script with all the relevant tags by hand), creating all the battles with their respective mechanics, set up shop and missions or whatever, code in timegates, banners, assign bond bonuses. And all this in supposedly dogshit code that I can only imagine makes the simplest thing into a herculean task.
The fact that it's apparently hard enough to make a rerun of something because of shitty old code is one thing, but you can't really expect them to make NEW content to give them time to catch up when they're already behind on making other new content.
