Mahou Senki: Lyrical Days (FSN x Nanoha Crossover)

Well to counter Fraggle's Grim Dark Mirror Verse I'll have to set up a light and fluffy one:

Emiya Shirou is the protagonist of a Visual Novel, but it's more of a story based VN more than anything. Even with the Heroines, Shirou is the one that gets the most attention. So we must create a normal 'choose a girl' VN like scenario for him. We'll do this Key style. Just a hint of supernatural with mostly fluff and character development with a conflict somewhere.

Targets:

Nanoha Takamachi

The Childhood friend of Shirou's. A family friend that is always chasing after Shirou. She is Shirou's oldest friend and probably the one that he's closest to initially. She is very protective of Shirou because of a certain incident that happened a while ago. Nanoha had been burning herself out studying and nearly got hit by a Car only for Shirou to push her out of the way and get hit himself. Everyone was sure that he was going to be paralyzed, but miraculously he recovers. We go into their past in this route and see how their relationship has grown.

Fate Testarosa

A transfer student that enters Shirou's class. A rather serious girl that excels in everything, both Shirou and Nanoha notice that she seems a lot sadder than she looks. Shirou will have to help her get through her family problems in her route. We're keeping the clone motif here and Shirou will have to work here through that as well. She is a bit obsessive over Shirou after he gets close to her so we might have a bad end or two in the late parts if you make a wrong turn.

Hayate Yagami

A friend of Shirou's that he met in middle school. She is a mischievousness girl that constantly likes to tease Shirou just to see him flustered. Shirou is helping her through her rehabilitation after a surgery to help her walk again. She makes parallels to his own struggles, but Shirou doesn't like to talk about the steps he had to take to walk again. Lots of Cooking talk in this one.

Finishing the 'Ace Routes' unlocks the 'Knight Routes'

Signum Yagami

The guardian of Hayate, she is the one that took over Shirou's swordsmanship training after middle school. A rather strict person, Shirou enjoys making her flustered with occasional sharp comments (he likes to say that Hayate is a bad influence). This route goes with Shirou being conned into helping out the Kendo team for a championship and training with Signum to brush up his skills again.

Vita Yagami

Signum's older sister. She has a growth problem, leaving her grumpy and unsociable. You dive deeper into the Yagami families past in this route, which ends with Shirou organizing Uminarii's first annual croquet tournament. A small hint is given about Shirou's mother and older sister identities.



Arturia Pendragon

The daughter of the late Kritsugu's friend Uthur Pendragon. She comes looking for Kiritsugu after her father's death as her aunt Morgan tries to cheat her out of her inheritance. She is a girl who has frozen her heart in order to become the hear of the multi-billion dollar company of her father,Camelot.Her route will play out with Shirou and his friends helping the girl to regain a part of her childhood, while helping her find the true will of her father which was entrusted to Kiritsugu.

Who hid it in the shed in the garden :P

This route starts mentioning elements of the ' magic over plot' by hinting that Kiritsugu and Uthur were looking for something called the grail of miracles, and mentions Shirou's older sister and his mother by name, and that they died long ago in a terrible accident. By finishing all 6 routes you unlock the final chapter: ' Grail of Miracles'


' Grail of Miracles'

This route takes place in an alternative dimension where Nanoha, Fate and Hayate are your standard magical girl ( with fox, cat and racoon themed outfits). Signum and Arturia are sentai/knights, with speeches and poses while still kicking ass. our regular Shirou wakes up and the magical ferret Yuuno tells him that to return to his world he must collect the 6 fragments of friendship( which are created by getting the good end in each route before this one). after traveling trough this world, while fighting as a magical boy and collecting the 5 fragments, you meet the white princess Illyasviel, your elder sister in the real world who died in a terrible fire along with their mother, leaving Shirou and Kiritsugu behind.

You learn that Kiritsugu searched for the grail to revive his loved ones, but discovered that it can only be powered by the feelings of friendship which can only by gathered by one with a pure heart. Kiritsugu placed the vessel inside Shirou's body before he died, believing that Shirou would keep it safe, and would never use it for evil. Illya then tells Shirou that with the fragments he has gathered in the different routes he can makes one single wish. He can wish to go home, or he can fulfill his fathers last desire, and save his mother and sister along with many others

Shirou places the fragments of friendship in the grail, and wished for his father desire to be granted, but Princess Illya still manages to send him back along with the wish.


The VN ends with a giant barbecue at the Emiya residence, with everyone in yukata's as they all play around until the fireworks play out in the sky, with Shirou telling his father and his mother about the strange dream he had.

Illya simply smiles on the background, as the white princess smiles from the girl's reflection in a mirror at the player as the ending screen appears.

In the mirrorverse Nanoha is death and destruction on the outside, with a lonely girl on the inside, combined with terrible social skills. Shirou was the first to reach out to her by becoming her friend, making him the first person to really love her ( mirrorvers Nanoha's parents were killed when she was young).

She pretty much a total psychopath who relished in death and destruction, but who has a very pure love for Shirou, and really wants him to be happy.

like REALLY really happy.

She'd not yandere, because if having Fate and Hayate close makes him happy then She will forcefully drag them into their bed with them for all she cares , as long as Shirou is happy.

She is a bit sad that Shirou doesn't like blowing stuff up as much as her, but thanks okay, because Shirou makes Nanoha happy!

Evil-Yuuno and Evil-Chrono fight whenever they meet, as some kind of eternal rivals. Yuuno has the lead at 57:51, with his last victory resulting in Chrono losing part of his epic stache.

I was actually going to leave Saber out and go with either Shamal to round out the Knights and with Reinforce. With a joking bad end where Shirou goes after Yuuno only be attacked by Chrono for trying to steal his love (it turns out to be a nightmare induced by Shamal's cooking.

Though it would certainly be an interesting plot/story and have some character development on Shirou's side...none of it would be real for the others.

Teen Evil-Vivio, who develops an Electra-complex tries to seduce her father, which fails badly due to him not seeing the clue's at all.

she wants a kiss, she gets a fatherly hug.

she wants to 'play' , they play a real game.

she wants to ' sleep with him' he tugs her in her own bed, and stays with her until she sleeps ( He does thinks she's getting a tad to big for having nightmares, but still humors her request).

Stereotypical Training Montage with Shirou and the Knights

Shotgun Katana wedding because the Takamachi's think Shirou knocked Nanoha up and Vivio is the result. Vivio just goes along with it because she gets to put on a pretty dress and Nanoha isn't really against it since she gets married to Shirou. Shirou is just really confused.

And for the most Crack value:

Emiya Shirou summons MSLD!Shirou as Saber in the Fifth Holy Grail War. Archer is still summoned by Rin, so that means we have three Emiya Shirou's running around. With the option of having one of the Aces summoned in other classes for add crack.
