I enjoyed Remake Our Life but why the time travel aspect instead of just a kid attending art school? I mean I actually understand why, it's the same reason as isekais, but still.

Have you ever sat down to watch the new season stuff and just run into a streak of nothing but good things? I was 5/5 until I ran into Girlfriend Girlfriend. Speaking of which, why would you need to confirm who some is before you confess to them? If you're confessing you should already know what the person looks like, right?
Kageki Shoujo looks like just the right amount of idoits in a club to interest me.
Remake Our Life, feels like an aged up Sakurasou no Pet. And I loved that. Also Golden time, which was also aces.
I was so ready to reject Re-main out the gate. I mean, who gives a shit about speedo volleyball? But MC having amnesia and being so anti-polo endearing enough, and now he has a girlfriend/rival he's forgotten? I have to see how this plays out, at least for a little while. And if they do their job right, I'll care enough about everything else that when it gets heavy with the boring sport, I'll keep up.
Realist Hero is very middle of the road. It feels like a Youjo Senki fanfic that forgot the main joke of the series.

The Detective is Already Dead felt like a letdown. The first half of the double episode was fine, though the superpowers felt a bit out of left field, but the fact the rest of the episode deals with them setting up a partnership feels like the story's main point still hasn't been reached after nearly 50 minutes. I don't mind last minute "haha got you" first episodes, but in most of those shows, you at least know what the rest of the show will be like. You know Nana's going to kill all the espers on the island, or that the School Live club is the middle of a zombie apocalypse. I have no idea what the rest of this show is becasue we just spent two episodes worth of time, and I have no idea what genre the show even is? Is it going to be SoL with PTSD sidekick? Shounen battle with the PoV instead resting on the aloof senpai? Harem comedy? Why not shuffle things a bit so the back half is what would be episode 2, and then flashback to his past, throughout the rest of the arc? Build up a sense of mystery about how the guy who flat out rejected Detective is now this affected by her death.

Maid Dragon and Kyoani are back finally.
they still delivers with amazing quality.
In terms of Shaman King, those poachers should have killed. It's just that their bodies need to be used for something. How? Wood elf culture in Elder Scrolls prescribes something very appropriate: https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Bosmer#Society
In just one episode I can already tell Aquatope on White Sand is my anime of the season. I love the setting and tone/atmosphere, and the art style is pretty. It seems to have an element of magic to it too that I wasn't expecting. Can't wait for more.
It's by the Irozuku director right? I really liked that too.
Dragon sacs are glorious normie filter.
Wow, Isekai Drugstore is terrible. It makes Slimes for 300 Years look great in comparison. No setup. No character establishing. Just here's and isekai guy, a loli wolf and a ghost. I couldn't get past the first ten minutes.
Tsukimichi has a decent set up. Rejected Isekai, pissed at the gods, live among monsters instead. All neat things. Everything after that checks the generic isekai checklist. It's a step better than Drugstore, but everything in that one episode has been done better in other places, and just throwing everything together feels like trend chasing. Super powers with no build up. Ultimate magic earned during a one minute mid episode montage. Dragon god that joins up with MC (though that one's a hot girl becasue harem).
Speaking of Slime, why does being resurrected grant you a cooking skill? For another thing, I can understand why Dwarf King gets a say, he's an important ally. But why does random mage get a say in anything when they just met?
Kyoani is gorgeous as ever. I thought the fanservice of Lucoa couldn't be topped, so they toss in an F-cup Loli. Who probably just Merlin'd Kobayashi.
Aquarium: It always amazes me that for all the strides CG has made in the last few years, random cars still look like PS2 models sliding across the screen. This show kind of feels like the opposite of Sakura Quest. Rather than a professional coming to revive a small town attraction and becoming a local idol becasue of a job, it's a jobless idol wandering into a small time attraction on a lark and deciding to revive it. Also gods exist. Really pretty though.

It's kind of amazing that drunk as I am, I can still pick out a Yuki Kajiura OST after one action scene. Also, Vampire Jalter is a go.
Peach Boy remind me of an anime I watched years back, I've forgotten which by this point, that had such an obsession with viewer engagement that the episodes always ended on a cliff hanger that would be resolved by the first ten minutes of the next episode, only for them to skip to the next conflict and build it up for the remainder to again leave on a cliffhanger. Rinse and repeat for 12 episodes.

Vanitas no Carte/Case Study of Vanitas. Adaptation of a manga by the same person who did Pandora Hearts. PH anime also had Kajiura doing the OST, funny enough
