    Cu Chulainn is probably the most famous mythological hero of Ireland. If his badass spear that breaks into thousands of thorns that invade your body after striking that they've gotta literally cut your corpse free is only a B, some scrub from an even more obscure story in which said person is not even the hero of the story probably doesn't deserve some of that A-rank good shit.

    OK compared to them he isn't really known much out of Ireland (or maybe most of the british isles IDK I don't live there) But Cu and Diamond still kick ass so I assume the more famous Irishmen would still kick ass.

    A skill that raises physical parameters in exchange for hindering mental capacity. Normally Fafnir would possess this skill at D Rank, but this skill’s workings have been altered by his Noble Phantasm. The effective rank of this skill and the likelihood of Fafnir activating it of his own will increase along with Fafnir’s Rank in Mental Pollution and his usage of his Noble Phantasm.

    Magic Resistance: D (EX)
    An abnormal skill granted by Fafnir’s Draconic Aspect personal skill. It is set at D Rank under most circumstances, granting protection only against Single-Action spells, but once Fafnir has Invoked his strongest Noble Phantasm, this skill’s Rank drastically increases.



    Personal Skills:


    Mental Pollution: E-
    A skill that makes it highly possible to shut out any mental interference, due to possessing a distorted mentality. However, at the same time it becomes impossible to come to an understanding with individuals that do not possess an equivalent rank of Mental Pollution. Fafnir’s rank in this skill upon summoning is sufficiently low that his mentality is hardly distinguishable from that of an ordinary person’s. However, the influence of his Noble Phantasms can cause an increase in Rank, drastically increasing Fafnir’s greed, paranoia, and general misanthropy.

    Transformation: A
    A skill that allows one to change form. In myths, Fafnir prior to his metamorphosis has been referred to as both a dwarf and a giant; in truth, he was neither. Using his magic, Fafnir may alter his size at will, and may also transform into a variety of reptilious and amphibious shapes. The larger the form, the greater his strength and endurance, but the lower his agility; the opposite is also true. Additionally, transformations may be applied to singular parts of Fafnir’s body if he wishes; indeed, his favored battle tactic involves greatly enhancing a single arm. However, the influence of his Noble Phantasm upon this skill causes its continuos use to corrupt his mind, increasing his rank in Mental Pollution.

    Golden Rule: EX (E)
    A skill that governs the accumulation of wealth. Normally Fafnir’s Rank in this skill would be minor, but it has been heavily altered by his Noble Phantasm. Fafnir may use this modified skill to accumulate not just monetary wealth, but “wealth” in any form. As such, usage of his Noble Phantasm allows Fafnir to gather any resource he might desire in vast amounts. Furthermore, much like how he managed to gather at least four separate noble phantasms among his hoard in life, unique objects of great value have a way of finding Fafnir when he utilizes this skill. However, due to the influence of the curse upon his Noble Phantasm, utilization of this skill irrevocably lowers Fafnir’s Luck and raises his rank in Mental Pollution.

    Draconic Aspect: C- (EX)
    Indicates an individual who has the nature of a dragon. Its rank is degraded when Fafnir is not utilizing Mad Enhancement, but even when not using said skill, his rank is sufficient to increase his Mana by one Rank and provide a level of Magic Resistance.




    Noble Phantasm:


    Andvaranaut -- Cursed Ring of Wealth: C, Support
    The cursed ring that brought about Fafnir’s doom and lead him to a life of hoarding seclusion. Its powers are great, but it bears a divine curse that brings doom upon its wearer. As such, its active use -- whether as a noble phantasm or through its modification of the Golden Rule Skill -- will gradually lower the user’s luck.


    In addition to its drastic effects upon Golden Rule, the ring bears another ability: To transform what its bearer touches into solid gold. The curse placed upon the ring has lessened this power; rather than turning any object Fafnir touches with any part of his body into solid gold, it will only transform objects touched by the hand wearing the ring, and only the parts touched rather than the whole. This includes things such as the opponent’s armor and flesh, making it exceptionally dangerous should Fafnir’s hand reach an opponent -- a danger magnified by his Transformation skill. Noble Phantasms, being the crystallization of a myth, are far more resistant to this effect, save those whose legends heavily involve gold.



    Nibelung -- The Metamorphosis of Fafnir: EX, Anti-Nation
    The crystallization of Fafnir’s legendary metamorphosis into a dragon. When Fafnir activates his Mad Enhancement, this Phantasm begins to take passive effect, steadily increasing his Rank in Mad Enhancement for as long as his rage lasts. Additionally, it causes his Transformation skill to go further and further out of control, causing Fafnir to take increasingly monstrous shapes as his rage continues. As his use of Mad Enhancement continues, the power of these transformations will even begin to exceed his capabilities while sane.


    Fafnir may only properly invoke this phantasm if his rank in Mental pollution or Mad Enhancement is B or above. However, if both of these skills have exceeded A Rank, only a command seal will prevent its invocation; When this Phantasm’s name is invoked, Fafnir will complete his metamorphosis into the dragon of legend.


    Due to limitations in regards to the scope of what the Grail can summon, the form that Fafnir assumes with this Phantasm is not as powerful as the actual dragon he became in life; however, he still becomes a phantasmal beast of immense power. His Magic Resistance and Parameters immediately become the maximum possible allowed within the grail system, and his heart begins to generate its own prana, almost completely obviating his need for an external supply. He gains a massively powerful breath of poison, powerful enough to inherently qualify as an Anti-Nation Phantasm on its own. However, his mind is completely destroyed by this transformation, and it can only be reverted by the simultaneous expenditure of three command seals -- though even this is not guaranteed to be successful.


    While this mindlessness is a major drawback, perhaps the largest is that there is a gap of several minutes between the Phantasm’s invocation and the transformation’s completion, during which any opponents will be fully aware of the necessity of stopping it.

    A guy I know requested that I write up Fafnir as a Servant, so I slapped this guy together in about twenty minutes or so.

    I think I made him a bit too strong, what do you guys think?

    In all seriousness though, he fits the Berserker class well enough that I don't see any reason to change it. He's a bit Abnormal for a berserker, but abnormal servants aren't exactly uncommon y'know? If I wanted a debate on the applicability of non-standard Servant Classes, I would have posted my version of Helen.

    Speaking of which, I guess I might as well put up one of the other requests I did. Again, I basically slapped this one together over the course of about twenty minutes, so it's... probably not as good as it could be.

    Loremaster: A
    A skill that governs one’s knowledge of mythology. Scheherazade spent her entire life studying lore and legend, and learned every myth available to her people. Upon encountering a hero whose name was known in Ancient Persia, Scheherazade will immediately know their true identity and all of their parameters. For Heroes whose myths she did not know in life, far less information is necessary for their identity to be revealed.
    Knowledge of Respect and Harmony: A+ (B)
    A skill that prevents a technique from decreasing in effectiveness, no matter how many times it is used. Much like how Scheherazade was able to forestall her execution in the exact same manner a thousand and one times in a row, even if she uses the same tactic a thousand times, her opponent will still be unprepared for it. Its rank has been artificially increased by her magic, but even an opponent with A Rank magic resistance will find themselves unable to perceive the nature of her methods, only able to deduce them from the aftereffects or through a high ranking in instinct.
    Divine Whisper: B+
    The ability to lace ones own speech with a form of magic similar in nature to High Speed Divine Words. Simply by conversing or even just speaking an ordinary monologue, the Servant may achieve powerful magical effects. Due to the lack of any apparent difference between this form of casting and ordinary speech, it is almost impossible to tell whether or not it is being used. The power of magic performed this way is equal to High Speed Divine Words of the same rank. Due to specializing, Scheherazade’s rank in this skill is increased when used for illusions or mind-altering effects.



    Noble Phantasm:


    Sahrazad -- The Freer of Tales: C, Support
    A semi-passive Phantasm representing Scheherazade’s great knowledge of story. When active, Scheherazade may perceive the state of the war as if it were a narrative, allowing her to see her own role and that of others in terms of roles in a story. Once this is known, she may use this phantasm to nudge fate itself, forcing other participants in the war to follow a specific narrative pattern that fits what she has already seen. The more Luck an individual has, the less effective this nudging will be, though a “nudge” is more difficult to resist if recreates an individual’s own myth.


    Kitab alf Laylah wa-Laylah -- The Repetition of a Thousand-and-One Dreams: A, Support
    The phantasm embodying the thousand and one tales of Scheherazade’s legend. Unlike most Phantasms, its name does not need to be spoken for it to be invoked; rather, Scheherazade need merely speak with the target. The target’s world is replaced by an illusion near-identical to their current situation, which proceeds until it resolves (Usually with the “death” of Scheherazade herself). At that point, it is replaced with a new scenario. Each scenario is more dangerous and dreamlike in nature, and it will continue until a thousand and one scenarios have been enacted. Despite these scenarios being illusory (And, from an outside perspective, lasting an amount of time proportional to the mana spent -- hours at most), stamina and mana, both for usage of magecraft and for maintaining a Servant’s existence, are spent as if the dream was real. As such, if a Servant is targeted, they will likely be exhausted and their master drained of mana upon this Phantasm’s resolution; Battle Continuation may resist this effect. Furthermore, all injuries sustained in these dreams carry over into the real world. The amount by which these wounds are reflected is determined by Scheherazade’s Charisma, and thus may be opposed by skills that would normally allow Charisma to be resisted.

    It was the class for summoning the 666th Beast in Prototype. So not really one meant for any beast.

    Personally I'd go with Monster, Ryougi gets called that as her "class" in EXTRA, so it's not wholly unwarranted. But Berserker works just fine.

    I still like the idea that Manaka wins her end game and Nero just rolls out of the Grail and spends a full page calling her the cutest praetor in the universe.

    All the while Manaka finally regrets her refusal to check what happens in the future. Umu.

While Magic Resistance mitigates the effect, it is difficult for all but the strongest protection to fully disperse her charms.

    Rank: A+
    A skill that increases the chances of being targeted by the enemy during group battles. While it tends to appear as a Minus Skill, for a Servant that has a strong defense, possessing this Skill allows to function as an excellent escort. At A-Rank, additional special effects are added, and the more the attackingside assails her, the more their composure breaks, until the point they can no longer think about anything but the owner of this skill. In Caster's lifetime, she attracted the advances and fury of many heroes, whether intentionally or not, and cultivating their obsession is as natural as breathing for her.

    Noble Phantasms:
    Ennoia Sophia - Inescapable Suffering of the Wandering Sheep
    Type: Anti-Army
    Rank: B
    Not a spell or a technique, but the nature of Helen of Troy as the daughter of Nemesis whose very existence pulled countless heroes to their ruin. Speculated by some to have been an incarnation of Ennoia, the All-Mother who suffered all manner of insults from the angels her beauty compelled to continuously incarnate in the material world, this Noble Phantasm is the innate ability of Caster to "collect" the emotions that others feel towards her, converting it into prana that she is able to use to sustain and empower herself as the war goes on. An empty, alluring vessel who accepts all offerings with neither joy nor remorse.

    The nature of the emotions Caster takes in determines the character of the power generated by this effect. While she is basking in adoration and love, Caster stockpiles prana that may be used for a variety of beneficial purposes. Energy absorbed in this way is automatically expended to reinforce and restore Caster when injured or fatigued in any way, and she may bestow the same effect on others at her discretion so long as she has positive energy left to spare. While using her supply on others may seem a disadvantageous expenditure, this typically only serves to engender more affection towards her and provide stronger fuel for her ability to maintain herself in the long term, in addition to letting her masquerade her NP as a "healer."

    Inevitably, as the emotions of an individual towards Caster grow negative and become perverted from their original affections, so too does the energy Caster takes in from them. Having first converted their positive emotions into a furnace of prana for herself to heal and sustain herself, she then begins to feed on their bleakest anger and jealousy, converting it into blackened, corrupted prana that fuels her destructive aspect as the daughter of Nemesis. Prana collected in this way has a corrosive effect on anyone other than Caster herself, and the strength of the effect only grows as she collects more negative emotion, rendering her very presence toxic and poisonous even as she grows lovelier and more powerful.

    When fully empowered, Caster is surrounded by an oppressive aura of both restoration and decay, rendering it increasingly difficult to fight and slay her on equal terms as the war drags on. Her primary limitation is the time it takes to generate sufficient emotion of each type and the requisite socialization necessary to reach her zenith - while she operates first as nothing but an innocent healer, believing the image she projects invites nothing but eventual ruin.

    Eidolon - Glory of Undecaying Beauty
    Type: Anti-Self
    Rank: E-A+++
    The beauty of Helen of Troy is such that even in death, it was said to live on with a life and glory all its own. Despite the likelihood of her death in Troy, it was said that even after years of bloody war, Menelaus was unable to bring himself to kill his lovely former wife, and returned with Helen as his prize only to lose his life on his return. Yet others protested, against all reason, that Helen had never been in Troy at all, but had been safely in Egypt during the events of the Trojan War.

    Helen's beauty is such that those she interacts with cannot forget any aspect of her, and she is able to utilize that to her advantage. Merely to look at Caster is to burn every detail of her appearance and being into the viewer's heart and soul, creating a perfect "record" of Caster at that moment in time. Utilizing the immense amounts of prana she stockpiles through Ennoia Sophia and the convincing image of herself "traced" in their mind, Caster is able to create eidolons, or copies of herself, and give them external form by using the minds and eyes of her adoring followers as transmitters to trace a projection of "Caster."

    The quality and efficacy of her eidolons are determined both by the quality of the recording in the broadcaster's mind and the amount of prana Caster has to spare on the copy. Eidolons act automously, with Caster's own personality and memories at the time of the recording, and will continue to function independently of her until they encounter the original and are reabsorbed into her being. As Caster's power grows, she is able to craft increasingly convincing eidolons by spending more prana. At first, they are little more than convincing illusions useful to act as decoys or fakes to gather emotion on her behalf, in time they become longer lasting and closer to Caster herself in parameters and abilities. However, no matter how much prana she gives an eidolon, or how well she crafts it, it may only exist as long as the individual perceiving "her" continues to observe the eidolon. Eliminating or parting from the observer in her thrall causes the world to instantly crush the Helen that cannot possibly exist separate from the individual.

    But given enough time and enough of a willing receptacle to sacrifice, Caster may even be able to give her beauty true, independent life.

    Hah, was wondering if this one would see the light of day at some point. Has it changed at all since we discussed it in PMs? I don't notice anything substantially different, at least. Still, like I said when you first showed it to me, it's an inventive way of weaving together several different, occasionally conflicting, components and I think it has a real Nasu feel to it. Still good work!

    Appearance


    Class Skills:

    Magic Resistance
    Grants protection against magical effects. Differently from the Resistance effect that merely rejects prana, this ability cancels the spells altogether.

    • C: Cancel spells with a chant below two verses. Cannot defend against Magecraft on the level of High-Thaumaturgy and Greater Rituals


    Personal Skills:

    Aegis of Faith
    A Skill possessed only by those who have sacrificed themselves for a religious view. Despite being a form of divine protection, it is not a blessing from a higher existence. It is only the absoluteness of one's body and soul, which is born from faith. But if it is too high, it causes abnormalities in the personality.

    • D: Not the faith of a man who sacrificed himself for his religion, but rather suffered endlessly until his punishment was ended by his conversion to Christianity and repenting her sins. Provides a moderate level of protection against mental interference.


    Honor of the Battered
    In truth, the pain inflicted heightens the Servant’s combat focus, allowing him to tap into his full potential; by corollary, if he is not injured, he cannot fight at full strength. The notion that "one must first conquer the pain inflicted by the enemy to attain absolute victory" is a fundamental premise of the Servant’s tactics.

    • B: An aberrant form of the skill, born from Lancer’s endless punishment of mauling by lion, followed by regeneration of the body to a pristine state each dawn. Lancer’s wounds cannot naturally be healed by any form of Magecraft. Instead, an hour before dawn each day is body will magically be flayed to the bone in a torturous and crippling “cleansing” of the body, before regenerating entirely as the sun rises.


    Mystic Eyes
    Possession of Mystic Eyes capable of interfering with the outside world.

    • B: The blood of Jesus Christ not only restored Lancer’s sight but transformed his eyes into powerful Divine Constructs in the form of high-grade Mystic Eyes. They are Mystic Eyes of True Vision, allowing Lancer to be able to see regardless of any visual obstructions or conditions such as blindness, absolute darkness or concealment magecraft. Additionally, his eyes allow him to interact with the obstructions, “clearing” them away so that the truth may be revealed to others. In practise this allows for dispersal of illusions, illumination within darkness, transformation of walls into transparent windows and other similar feats.


    Sainthood
    Indicates being acknowledged as a saint. When summoned as a Servant, the ability of saint is selected one among "raising the effectiveness of sacraments", “immunity to curses & other corrupting elements", "1 Rank-Up to Aegis of the Faith and Honor of the Battered" and "production of a holy shroud is possible". May also act as Rank C Divinity as a blessed human.

    • C: With an hour of dedicated prayer in isolation from all distractions the default benefit of this skill can be changed to a single other benefit. Once a second benefit has been selected the same period of prayer can be performed to revert to the default, but only those two abilities may be alternated between.


    Divine Lance
    The Spear Which Brings Forth Blood and Water

    Description: A spear transformed into a Conceptual Weapon by the blood of a Divine Hybrid, it is the original form of the Holy Relic Longinus, which would later become known as Black Barrel, the God-killing gun. Due to its nature as a Sacrament of extreme power it has become integrated with Lancer’s pious body, transforming into his right arm and sealed in this form by the Holy Shroud binding the arm, the Shroud of Longinus. When the bandages are unraveled Lancer’s arm transforms into a glowing red spear, the Divine Lance.

    A Sacrament composed entirely of the Fifth True Theoretical Element, it imposes the concept of a natural life-span upon those who do not possess one through 「Refraction of Longevity」. Because it is transfigured by the healing blood of the Messiah the Divine Lance is able to heal anyone without Divinity with a single touch from his right hand. Prevents anyone with Divinity from healing the wounds it causes, and the wounded will leak increasing amounts of prana from the wound in the form of
    Grain
    water
    as the Divinity rank becomes higher.

    An exhortation to God in the form of a specific religious utterance can transform this state into a gleaming red rifle-type cannon, the Crimson Calibre. In this form, it can fire spikes of brightest red that chase down Divinity and instead of inflicting unhealable wounds inflict Divine Interference, imposing Parameter Rank Down statuses and "spiritual static" clouding the senses of the people hit by these divine spearheads.

    When the proper name is invoked Lancer's whole arm glows brighter than anything else before it, a blinding divine laser beam that transcends space and time to strike a target with Divinity, utterly removing them from existence. A completely undodgable and undefendable "Divine Killer", a ray of God's Divine Radiance that confirms the status of a divine individual as living or dead. As all Heroic Spirits have transcended the spacetime axis and sit outside of it in the Throne of Heroes, it is impossible to confirm life or death, due to their entire timeline being simultaneous in this form, just as when the test was initially rendered against the Crucified Messiah. A-Rank Divinity will remove the opponent for 3 days, B; 2 days, C; 24 hours, D; 8 hours and E; 3 hours. During this time they will appear to be completely dead, their contract severed and the Command Seals dulled as for all intents and purposes the Servant has been returned to the Grail. Upon reappearance, the contracts are completely renewed into the same state they were when first struck with the Divine Lance's God-Slaying Paradox Laser.
