Also, in the world of Tsukihime spiritual realms are not alternate dimensions, but rather exist within the world itself. Things like legendary lands and countries of eternal spring are the products of the imagination of whatever elemental rules over them. Consequently, it is possible for humans to wander into them by accident.
The castle in the mountains that Arcueid calls home is actually a product of her marble phantasm.

Q: If the original Gàn Jiàng & Mò Yē take the stage in the Holy Grail War, will they possess the power of Noble Phantasms, as twin swords that reached the realm of Gods through human sacrifice? Or, is it impossible for them to become Noble Phantasms, since they did not have wielders in their legend?
A: Without a doubt, the swords would be true Noble Phantasms. They would be extremely strong anti-monster Noble Phantasms. Rider's ultimate form - Gorgon Lv100 - or the extra-dimensional evil god summoned by Gilles would all be cut down in a single strike.

    Arthurian Cycle

The name given to the collection of tales centered on the King of Knights and his contemporaries. The legends regarded in modern times as symbolic to the ideals of chivalry. Many of the elements that appear here – such as the holy sword Excalibur, the royal castle of Camelot and the glorious Round Table – are notorious all across the world.

    Fair Unknown

A narrative motif that is popularly employed in romantic epics, it possesses strong connections with the Arthurian legends. As its basic premise, the protagonist is a handsome lad whose lineage・provenance are either unknown or kept a secret. While the character is at first mistrusted and/or belittled due to such suspicious factor (often being addressed by an appropriate nickname instead of his real name), he is eventually accepted as a respectful member of the society after accumulating enough heroic achievements.

In a sense, such tales are supposed to be an overturn of common assumptions that a proper pedigree is an essential element when evaluating a hero’s worth. However, more often than not, the protagonist is later revealed to have some sort of special origin. The child of another famous hero, the heir of a fallen renowned family or a prophesied savior are stereotyped in these cases.

Also, a typical variation of this establishes the main heroine instead of the hero as the mysterious character of the story. In such cases, unraveling the secret of her provenance becomes a central element of the plot, the main quest that the protagonist must fulfill to become her spouse. Incidentally, in regards to the origins of such heroines, things like the princess of a foreign land or the inheritor of a mythical heritage are matter-of-course, but some rare examples would also portray them as disguised fairies or goddesses.

    CLASS SKILLS

    Magic Resistance: B
The capacity to negate or abate the effects of magecraft. Negates magecraft invoked with an aria of three verses or less. It is difficult to injure him even with high-thaumaturgy.

    Encampment Defense: D
A power displayed when protecting allies or an allied camp. Exhibits damage reduction surpassing the defensive value limit, but he himself is not included as a target. At D Rank, the protective range is not all that wide, but it is still enough to act as an effective bodyguard.

    PERSONAL SKILLS

    Guardian Knight: B
The ability to temporarily raise one’s own defensive power when acting as an escort for others.

    Indomitable Will: B+
An extremely firm determination that never yields to any sort of agony, despair or circumstances. Possesses resistance against physical and mental damage. However, said resistance will not hold against attacks that aim at inducing others – such as illusions.

Bonus modifiers are applied while he is wearing his black surcoat. This is not an effect derived from the surcoat itself, instead resulting from a type of self-suggestion.

    Protection of the Spirits: B
By means of a blessing from the spirits, one can summon good fortune on a preferential manner when in a critical situation. There are restrictions regarding its activation, which differ from one heroic spirit to the other. In Sir Breunor’s case, it is only when he is endeavoring to accomplish a quest that is clearly beyond his powers.

This is a digression, but while under the effect of this Skill, he cannot help but feel that there is someone out there badmouthing him, or something…

    Riding: C-
The technical skill to mount on vehicles. It also displays its effects on mechanized vehicles. So long it is an animal that has been properly trained, a machine that has been properly adjusted, he can ride them flawlessly. Also, as far as machines go, modern conveyance can also be handled.

However, he cannot fully display his abilities during battles. Despite being a knight, Sir Breunor was known to be inept at mounted combat and almost never won a jousting duel.

    NOBLE PHANTASM

Maledisant – Divine Protection of the Damsel
    Rank: B
    Type: Anti-Unit (self)
Shield of the fairy. The defensive armament Breunor received from the mysterious maiden and the catalyst of her divine protection (sponsorship). As described in legends, it is a jet-black shield with the heraldic badge of a white hand holding a sword engraved on it.

Its power as a Noble Phantasm is to convert the user’s mental toughness into bonus modifiers for his defensive values. Physical protection (AC) is a matter of course, but every single type of resistances・saving throws are also raised. Supposedly, a strong heart that does not break nor gets discouraged despite constantly being a target of scorn and abuse is indispensable to bring out the full potential of this shield.

This is a digression, but the basic principle behind this Noble Phantasm is regarded as being identical to that of a relic that is at the core of Arthurian legends.

    Bienpesant – A Knight’s Determination
    Rank: B
    Type: Anti-Army
The shield of the fairy’s other face. A trump card reserved for decisive matches・last stands. Sir Breunor will only employ this after he has resolved himself to pass over the point of no return and meet a challenge that he must not lose no matter what.

By calling the True Name, the divine protection that up until now was devoted solely for the purpose of improving his defenses is temporarily inverted and a great boost in combat power is achieved. Other than an increase in parameters comparable to A Rank Mad Enhancement, there is also an effect falsely similar to Wild Excitement of the Spirits that decreases overall abilities of nearby enemies by means of a special mental interference. However, as compensation, the usual increase in defensive strength is lost and his Protection of the Spirits also gets sealed away for as long as this Noble Phantasm is active.

In legends, Sir Breunor employed this to simultaneously fight against 100 knights all by himself.

    Background
    BACKGROUND

Sir Breunor. Also called Breunor le Noir (the Black). One of the many knights who served under King Arthur at the castle of Camelot. A young warrior who was expected to compose the next generation of the Round Table along with Galahad and others. Furthermore, he was also the younger brother of Sir Dinadan.

According to legends, Sir Breunor originally traveled to Camelot seeking justice for his father - a fearless, good knight who had lost his life after suffering an ambush. At the occasion of his arrival, he coincidentally rescued Queen Guinevere from being attacked by a lion and was knighted by King Arthur as a reward for this feat. Incidentally, because Sir Breunor attended his knighting ceremony while wearing his father's black surcoat - which he vowed to never remove until the day his father was avenged, even though it was clearly a size to big for him - Sir Kay sarcastically gave him the epithet "La Cote Male Tayle" (roughly, of the ill-fitted coat).

Despite being acknowledged by the king himself, most of the other knights looked down on Sir Breunor as a novice knight with no real accomplishments under his belt. While he wanted to object to such treatment, Sir Breunor admitted that they had a point; compared to them, he had indeed achieved very little in his career. It was only natural that further evidence of his valor would be demanded.

Fortunately, it wasn't long before he received a chance to prove himself.

One day, a mysterious maiden of unknown origins appeared on the royal court. Carrying a magnificent shield that supposedly belonged to a fallen knight, she offered it as a reward to any brave knight willing to escort her to the Sorelois province and take over the quest that the shield's previous owner failed to accomplish. Rising to the opportunity, Sir Breunor quickly volunteered for the task.

The exact details of the quest are obscure, often differing among sources. There is one point in which all those agree though: the mysterious maiden seemed less than pleased by the fact that her request was answered by a greenhorn knight, who displayed a less than outstanding performance. She displayed that by constantly taunting, belittling and outright slandering the young knight.

Surprisingly, never once Sir Breunor retorted at the mysterious maiden. No matter what kind of criticism, abusive language he received, the young knight remained always courteous and entirely devoted to the task entrusted to him. For him, it was only natural; he had taken up that quest in order to prove himself in the eyes of all those who held him in contempt. Therefore, the mysterious maiden’s badmouthing served as nothing but a constant reminder of his goal, as well as evidence that he had not yet achieved it.

Eventually, after many adventures and tribulations, the “Quest of the Black Shield” was successfully accomplished. It has been said that, at that occasion, the mysterious maiden offered herself to become Sir Breunor’s wife. She revealed that her abusive language was motivated by good will, not derision. Believing that the quest was too dangerous for a novice knight with little to no combat experience, she was attempting to make him withdraw in order to save his life. However, Sir Breunor proved her wrong brilliantly, and deserved to be rewarded accordingly.

And so, Sir Breunor returned to Camelot with a brand new wife. Tales of his adventures had long reached the royal court, clearing away all misgivings about his caliber. He was welcomed as a peer by all the other knights, and soon became a preeminent candidate for filling up any vacancy on the Round Table. Incidentally, legends say that Sir Breunor would avenge his father later in life, but exact details are unknown.

    Friend or Enemy?

As mentioned before, the majority of the knights of Camelot held Breunor in contempt during the early period of his career. However, there was a single exception among those. One knight who regarded him as an equal right from the beginning.

It was Mordred, the Knight of Rebellion who would later become one of the greatest villains of Arthurian legends.

Mordred himself had faced similar troubles in the past due having to conceal his origins, so he could sympathize with Breunor’s circumstances. Also, there was a surprisingly good affinity between the two young knights. Mordred was wild and uninhibited, while Breunor was prude and stubborn to a fault – but, on a fundamental level, both had the same exceedingly pure and straightforward nature.

A number of famous knights coincidentally played some minor roles in the “Quest of the Black Shield”, but Mordred was the only one that could truly be described as Breunor’s “companion”. Together they shared many pains and joys. Furthermore, Mordred would often stand up in Breunor’s defense against the badmouthing of the mysterious maiden.

But that friendship would not survive to the end. When Mordred attempted to usurp the throne, Breunor sided with King Arthur. This wasn't just because of a vassal's loyalty towards his suzerain or gratitude towards his benefactor; La Cote Male Tayle also had a personal reason to stand against the Knight of Rebellion.

Even before the insurrection happened, Sir Dinadan – Breunor’s brother – became aware of Mordred’s intentions. In order to prevent him from exposing his secret, Mordred murdered Dinadan and disguised the death as a casualty of the Grail Quest. Later, Breunor somehow learned about this truth.

Upon turning into a heroic spirit, the only wish that Breunor has left is "to settle the scores with Mordred". That being said, even he does not know what exactly he feels about the other knight. While the Knight of Rebellion is his brother's murderer, in the past he was without question a true friend who fought side by side with him many times. These two facts are tearing apart Breunor's heart even now. He hoped to obtain a clear answer by crossing swords with Mordred on last time, but he unfortunately perished at the Battle of Camlann before such reunion could be accomplished. Thus, he now seeks the Holy Grail in order to clear this regret.

Incidentally, while it is unknown how much Breunor knew about Mordred's origins (that the Knight of Rebellion was King Arthur's illegitimate child), it seems that he at least was aware that she was in fact a girl.

It's entirely likely this guy is overpowered because I was kind of aiming at making him really strong. This is because the Three Great Yokai seem to be pretty powerful in the Nasuverse - with Tamamo basically being a facet of Amaterasu who could destroy worlds while in her full power and Shuten who has Saber class stats while in the Assassin class container which isn't even her strongest class from what I gather. (Also a friend told me she's at 10% of her full power under the Assassin class container, but I've no idea if this is true or not).

This guy is very likely to pop up in GO so I'll see if I made him fittingly strong or too strong. Anyways, I based his parameters off of Shuten's, with END being a rank higher because Avenger is probably his best class. And his second NP is basically his version of big monster transformation which I assume Shuten to have under the Berserker class. Basic Avenger class skill interpretations were inspired by the Kriemhild sheet made by Bigblack btw, since we have no actual description of them as of right now.

    Legend

One of Japan's Three Great Yōkai along with Tamamo-no-Mae and Shuten-Dōji that haunted the Imperial Court during the late 12th century and eventually chased them off from their position of power. He was a bastard child of Emperor Toba known as Prince Akihito during his younger days. His ''father'' bore a clear hatred towards him and often referred to him as a bastard. Akihito's real father - the previous emperor Shirakawa - still held immense decisive power behind the scenes and eventually when Akihito was 5 years old, Toba was forced into retirement. Akihito became the 75th Emperor of Japan known as Emperor Sutoku.

Soon after Shirakawa died, Toba began planning on a way to take down Sutoku from the throne. He convinced the young king that retirement was better than the life of a stressed out king. Due to Sutoku's lack of children, Toba suggested to him that he should adopt his son Narihito. And soon after, Sutoku did indeed retire and leave the throne to Narihito instead of his own progeny. Narihito became Emperor Konoe and Toba, now having full power once again, sent away all of Sutoku's allies, leaving the former emperor powerless in the capital.

However, Konoe was a sickly boy and soon died at the age of 17 without a heir. Seeing the opportunity, Sutoku and his allies claimed that the throne should be passed onto Sutoku's son, but instead the imperial court picked Toba's fourth son who became Emperor Go-Shirakawa. When Toba died, the conflict between two factions quickly developed into a small civil war known as the Hōgen Rebellion, but the war lasted for a mere single battle where Go-Shirakawa's forces emerged victorious.

Sutoku was banished to the Sanuki Province where he shaved his head off and became a monk, with the purpose of writting holy scriptures to send back to the capital. The imperial court thought of the scriptures as curses written by a hateful emperor who wished to take revenge on his enemies, and his scriptures were quickly thrown away under the assumption that Sutoku wrote the letters in his own blood from his tongue that he bit off. Soon after, Sutoku died a hateful and lonely man.

But this was not the end of Sutoku's legend. On the day of his cremation, a powerful storm struck and when his caretakers ran to take cover, the stones around Sutoku's coffin were found bloody immediately after the storm. When his body was finally cremated, dark clouds resided over the capital. After that for many years, the capital was struck with various disasters ranging from storms to earthquakes to plagues. Imperial court was losing power, Go-Shirakawa's heir met a sudden death and all of his allies were slaughtered in battle. The country was approaching an all out civil war and as predicated, soon the Genpei War broke out.

After 5 bloody years, the imperial court was stripped of all of it's power and the Kamakura shogunate took over Japan. All of this was attributed to Sutoku's revenge and he finally returned to the capital in the Meiji era. He was enshrined as a kami in the Shiramine Shrine in Kyōto.

    Personality:

As opposed to his younger self who was constantly manipulated by his two father figures in life, Sutoku is a rebellious bastard who will take any chance to pick a fight. As such, he is an arrogant man who is extremely difficult to manage as a Servant. He absolutely loves cursing people and making them submit to him. A single insult to him will probably result in the other party losing their tongue. Though, he likes to act condescending and evil, in the end his core is still that of Prince Akihito - a kind, naive man. He won't admit it, but he doesn't like using his Anti-City NP under normal means as it's wide range might result in the pain of the innocent. Even so, he is definitely not above of causing earthquakes to give the populance a little scare as a remembrance of his existence - as he simply hates not being given attention.

This is a side note, but if we're talking about the other two that were titled as Japan's Three Great Yōkai, it is needed to say that Sutoku doesn't really get along with them. He thinks of them as a pain and would rather avoid any communication with them. This is definitely not because Tamamo bullies him over how edgy he is and Shuten's perverse nature is too much for even him to handle.

    Class Skills:

    • Avenger (A) - Sutoku was a man who died bitter, lonely with nothing but his hatred and wish for revenge against the Imperial Court. The single desire of taking revenge that he took with him to his grave was so powerful that it turned Sutoku into an Onryō - an existence that seeks nothing but revenge on the world of the living. He was a vengeful ghost that interacted with the physical world and over the course of 5 blood years stripped all of his enemies from their positions of power and slaughtered all their allies.
    • Oblivion Correction (E~EX) - Decreases prana cost while being contracted to a Master and increases it when not contracted to a Master. This is so that Avenger would disappear quickly should his Master die in battle. In Sutoku's case, the rank reflects the state of his mindset. If he finds an enemy he despises in this war, the rank of this skill will decrease in proportion to his hatred towards an enemy party and he will refuse to leave the world of the living until the target of his hatred feels his wrath. If he does not have a particular desire to stay in the world, the rank of this skill will be the highest possible and he will disappear without a second thought.
    • Self-Recovery (Mana) (A) - A skill that increases the rate at which Sutoku absorbs the prana around him, depending on the rank of his Oblivion Correction, it can either prove to be an extremely advantageous skill or he will simply shut it out due to having no desire to stay in the world.

    Personal Skills:

    • Divinity (C) - In legends, Sutoku transformed into an Ootengu - a greater Tengu which were treated as divine beings by some, and in the latter part of the 19th century, he was enshrined as a kami in the Shiramine Shrine located in Kyōto. Furthermore, the Takaya Shrine in Kagawa enshrined one of the stones onto which Sutoku's blood flew during his cremation.
    • Tengu's Art of War (B) - A skill possessed by those who have been taught by Tengu in the arts of war. Though, in Sutoku's case he gains it because he himself is a Tengu. He is granted improved combat performance with various war arts such as swordsmanship, spearmanship and archery. Furthermore, this skill is a composite skill that grants Sutoku both Magic Resistance (C) and Military Tactics (C).
    • Monstrous Strength (C) - A skill possessed by monsters and beasts alike. Sutoku is granted this skill due to his existence as an Onryō and a Tengu. This is because Tengu are often described as demons of war, possessing both great military skill and inhumane strength.
    • Battle Continuation (A) - Sutoku's will for revenge transformed him into a great monster that could return to the land of the living and enact his revenge against enemies that wronged him in life. He will not disappear until the target of his hatred has been completely humiliated and stripped off all their power.
    • Witchcraft (EX) - The person in question was a vengeful monster who could cause powerful disasters such as storms, plagues, earthquakes, fires, etc. to ravage the country led by the Imperial Court until they were brought to their knees in powerlessness. In fact, it is said that his curses are so powerful that they are still active in the 21st century. During 2012, when NHK broadcasted the drama called Taira no Kiyomori, an earthquake struck the Kanto region right at the moment in which Sutoku transformed into an Onryō.

    Noble Phantasm(s)
    Holy Manuscripts of Sutoku
O' Heavens Abide to My Wrath

    Type: Anti-City
    Rank: B
    Range: 2-99
    Max. Target: 1000+ people

The Holy Manuscripts written by Sutoku during his exile. Though the manuscripts themselves are not the actual Noble Phantasm, they became a container for Sutoku's powerful curses due to the belief that the manuscripts Sutoku sent back to the imperial court were filled with curses that could destroy the enemies that wronged him. The manuscripts allow Sutoku the manipulation of weather on a massive scale. He is able to call upon the raging thunder to crush his foes or he can cause powerful storms and earthquakes that can take down cities. Because of the curses' large scale, Sutoku does not prefer to use this Noble Phantasm's true potential in populated areas.

His preferred state of fighting is to manipulate the weather on a small enough scale for it still to work in his favour. Such as, he is able to manipulate the wind to blow incoming arrows away from their original course making it hard for Archers to fight him unless they possess truly exceptional skill. In areas with a lot of visual obstructions such as a thick forest, Sutoku could quickly call upon a powerful wind to rip down all the treas in his immediate area making it hard for Assassins to maneuver around outside of Sutoku's field of vision. In close combat, it is even possible to expel lightning prana similar to a lightning prana burst. However, Sutoku much prefers fighting at a long range with this Noble Phantasm where he can launch condensed air bullets or blades at his enemy and sniping Archers can be simply reached by Sutoku calling down lightning from the heavens onto the spot where said enemy is located in.

There is one slight demerit to this Noble Phantasm, unfortunately. Anything Sutoku writes will leave an impression to others as if it were written in Sutoku's own blood and therefore will cause an effect similar to weak mental interference, as the enemy will show fear or simple disgust at reading Sutoku's writings and will refuse to read any further. Because of this Sutoku can't exactly write get-well letters to his sickly grandma in the hospital...

    Onryō Tengu
    Vengeful Harbinger of Destruction

    Type: Anti-Unit (Self)
    Rank: A+
    Range: 0
    Max. Target: 1 person

The crystallization of Sutoku's existence as an Onryō that became an Ootengu. A constantly active Noble Phantasm on Sutoku's body - which is the reason of him retaining wings under a human visage and having numerous skills such as Monstrous Strength, Tengu's Art of War and Battle Continuation. When Sutoku activates it's true name, he exchanges his human visage in favour of brute strength and raw firepower in order to realize his existence as a demon of war once more. His performance in battle is greatly increased. His STR and END stats are boosted to A++ and the nature around Sutoku becomes uncontrollable due to the Tengu's nature as harbingers of war and disruption. It is similar to the powerful storm that was summoned onto the caretakers of Sutoku's coffin while they were awaiting orders for Sutoku's cremation. However, unlike with his first Noble Phantasm, Sutoku is unable to control the skies' wrath as he has completely abandoned any form of Witchcraft in favour of powerful brute strength.

Furthermore, due to Sutoku existing as a powerful and successful vengeful spirit, aggressive dead spirits will be attracted to Sutoku's smell in this form (similar to Gilgamesh's Noble Phantasm from HA that attracts the dead) in order to get a chance to feed off of the surrounding mana. Masters will be in danger and the dead spirits will even attempt to leech off of the Servants. Though the monstrous Sutoku will probably not be bother with the weak dead spirits as his main objective will be his enemy. This is due to the fact that Sutoku will only activate this Noble Phantasm in a situation where the other party has driven him to a state of uncontrollable rage.

In this state it is nearly impossible to control Sutoku even with the usage of Command Spells as he will stubbornly keep pushing until his objective of annihilating his enemy is fully achieved. Though the usage of multiple Command Spells can work, it will surely put the Emperor in a murderous state towards the Master. More than anything, Sutoku does not like getting disrupted in his revenge.

Holy Scriptures of Sutoku are locked in this state.

I wanted to remake this sheet after seeing Shrapnel's version and I had forgotten the old thread was locked so I'm dropping it here.

    Class: Caster
    True Name: Agrippina the Younger
    Alignment: Neutral Evil
    Place of Origin: Rome
    Attributes: Man
    Traits: Humanoid, Roman
    Armament: None

    STR: E
    END: E
    AGI: C
    MGI: B
    LCK: C
    NP: C

    Height/Weight: 161cm/60kg
    Likes: Herself, Power, …Child?
    Dislikes: Unexpected Events
    Talent: Emotional Manipulation, Blackmail
    Natural Enemy: Her Daughter

    Class Skills:
    • Territory Creation (B) -Creation of a "Workshop" becomes possible.
    • Item Construction (C) - Agrippina specialises in poisons, so she can't make any other types of tools.

    Personal Skills:

    • Imperial Privilege (A) - A "cheat" skill that, due the insistence of the owner, Skills that are essentially impossible to possess can be obtained for a short period of time. In cases when the Rank is А or above, even the "burden to the body" is acquired (such as Divinity). In Agrippina's case alongside gaining skills such as Alluring Nightingale and Charisma, she uses this skill to acquire and utilise Magecraft and high-thaumaturgy equal to that of powerful Magi from the Age of Gods.
    • Protection from Assassination (C) - A cheat skill that is the ability to survive attempts at one's life, either through resilience or fortune. Presence Concealment of an equal rank is nullified and when being attacked, ones END and LCK parameters increase.
    • Subversive Activities (C) - The talent to reduce the enemy forces in the preliminary stages, before going into battle. An expert of traps. However, the higher is the ranking of this Skill, the more one's spiritual status as a hero declines. The Servant can reduce enemy strength by up to 25% before combat is initiated.

    Noble Phantasms

Domat Mentem My Child, Bend to My Will (Anti-Unit) (C+) - Agrippina poisoned and manipulated her child to cause mental instability, but also managed to manipulate everyone around her. This Noble Phantasm manifests as a conceptual ability to attract people to herself. Such a thing was simple for Agrippina, who infatuated everyone with her beauty and intelligence. Hers is at the ability of being mental interference magecraft. Every single one of her words is laced with beguilement and compels others to obey and additionally he mere presence will slowly erode ones willpower.

Skills that can block out such interference such as Bravery and Magic Resistance will nullify the passive effects of her poisonous presence though the effectiveness of these skills. However should she make the effect direct by creating a concoction a attempting to force a restrained target to ingest it, the effectiveness of those skills decrease however one can still attempt to resist the curse if their willpower or ego is great enough. It takes a strong resistance to be able to not fall into place as one of her precious pieces.

Argumentum Ergo Tres Lanceas Grand Hall of the Deranged (Anti-Team) (B) - The most powerful of Agrippina's Noble Phantasms. Much like her daughter Nero, Agrippina possesses a construct that crystallises her true self and it is an "absolute imperial zone" which allows the owner to achieve their aspirations.

It takes form of the imperial court, though twisted and corrupted by Agrippina's twisted souls to become more like a throne room at the head of the room, all facing her, worshipping her like the goddess she is. Here, her poisonous presence takes a more literal turn with everyone inside under a divine curse to cripple their minds and bodies. Those who have legends or abilities of resisting poison take half the effect while those with vulnerabilities take double the effect. She can also release a deluge, that floods the entire room if needs be. Interestingly the large bejewelled golden throne she lounges around in can move and levitate, much a movable control panel.

    Lore

Julia Agrippina, better known as Agrippina the Younger was a roman empress and the mother of Nero Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus, known for causing her child's mental instability by slowly poisoning her over her life.

Sister to the infamous Caligula, she grew up in Rome and after the murder of her father, she quickly learned how to survive in the cutthroat courts. On her 13th birthday, she was married of to her first cousin. It was not a happy marriage as the man was detestable in every aspect. He was 30 at the time *shudders*. When the emperor died and her brother Caligula took the throne and she began to climb her way up the social ladder but after giving birth to her only child she became involved in a plot to assassinate Caligula and depose him which failed and resulted in her exile but after Caligula, his wife and daughter were successfully assassinated and her uncle Claudius became emperor, she returned was reunited with her estranged daughter. But not her husband who had died of natural causes. Because her first husband was considered a weak man, her daughter was barred from the throne so she began to work her way around this.

She made numerous advances on potential future emperors but when an enemy of hers, Valeria Messalina her second cousin became empress, she kept a low profile and married some unimportant man in the grand scheme of things. Her sisters were not so lucky and were falsely charged with adultery. Messalina sent assassins to kill Nero's daughter, but she planted a convincing snake skin in her bed which scared off the assassins, thinking she was protected by real snakes. During this time, she became vastly protective of her daughter. Though not evil in nature she had a very domineering presence to secure her daughters future as emperor. She also poisoned her as a backup but gave her the occasional antidote to keep her in check.

After she may-or-may not have poisoned her husband and being widowed a second time, she was wealthy, feared and after Messalina was executed for treason, she had few enemies remaining. She took this opportunity to seduce her emperor/uncle and they were quickly married. This marriage was frowned upon but she did not care as she married him only for power and as empress, her enemies were falsely charged without trial or 'vanished'. She also had her daughter adopted as heir to the throne and pressured Claudius' daughter Octavia to marry her daughter who soon was renamed Nero and became emperor.
Agrippina was predatory and still held a large amount of power in the courts and made policies in self-interest and she and Nero were in constant conflict. So Nero attempted to assassinate her. Although there had been several attempts on her life, Nero's would eventually be the end of her.

Nero tried to drop the canopy of Agrippina's boat on top of her causing the boat to sink. Keeping quiet, she swam back to her villa and saw her servant to also survived the sinking ship get bludgeoned to death. As news of her survival travelled fast so Nero tried to proclaim her mother poisoned her and had her publicly cut down. She sat in her lounge when another groups of assassins came to kill her and her last words were reportedly "Smite my Womb". This concreted Nero's reputation as a tyrant but she still remained terrified of her mother and remained paranoid her spirit would return and take revenge. Nero remained poisoned and Agrippina took the antidote to her grave.

    Personality

Agrippina is ruthless, wilful, cold, ambitious, and cunning in the sense that she is utterly willing to betray anyone who trusts her, or do anything to protect her own. However, she is also arrogant and self-centred to a fault. Although a talented manipulator, she is not as intelligent as she believes and her lack of patience makes her prone to mistakes though she never recognises the fault to be her own. Although she gives of the persona or a regal and imposing queen, she is closer in temperment to that of a 17 year old in the body of an adult and is prone to being needlessly spiteful.

She is not 'evil' per say but would happily do anything required to secure the future of her and her family, mostly her though. She claims she loves her family and especially her "Most treasured, talented and absolutely gorgeous daughter" Nero but she doesn't really love them, even her daughter and merely sees them as extensions of herself. She became obsessed with the mental construct of her daughter Nero as a great emperor and became so domineering and controlling to the point she turned her against her.

She is the kind of person who would unironically wish to rule the world or become a Goddess.

    Tactics

Agrippina is an interesting case, one would not expect her to be a contender in the grail war. Her Imperial Privilege skill makes her a surprisingly competent Caster class servant and her Protection from Assassination skill gives her an advantage over the Assassin class servants in the traditional manner. However there are several drawbacks to her. Her personality would make her prone to making mistakes that could prove to be very costly and she would refuse to acknowledge her own fault, making whatever advantages she held in combat possibly worthless.

Additionally during the war, she would exert herself over her master - quickly dominating them if they were weak of mind as not even they are safe from her Noble Phantasm. It would take someone of a remarkably strong will to resist it, pure magical power is not the case. Even a powerful magus could quickly become nothing more than a puppet of her whims.

One must be tactful in dealings with her and it is highly advised a command seal is used to prevent her betraying you or using her Noble Phantasm on you, but this would likely destroy whatever relationship with her and if anything more likely to betray you. One must be careful.

    Class: Shielder

    STR: B
    END: A
    AGI: D
    MGI: C
    LCK: A+

    Class Skills

Magic Resistance (C): Cancels spells two verses or shorter.

Riding (A+): Phantasmal and Divine Beasts can be used as mounts.

Encampment Defense (B++): Applies damage reduction to nearby allies, but not himself.
Through the use of his Noble Phantasm, Shielder's allies can be said to be behind an
    impenetrable wall (figuratively and literally).

    Personal Skills

Prophet (A-): Shielder is believed to be a prophet in Islam, a deliverer of divine revelation.
Protection by God from distortion or corruption, this skill functions Saint and Protection of
the Faith at rank B and incorporates Shielder's Charisma, which is at rank A. However, this
prophetic status is ambiguous rather than explicitly stated, so the effectiveness of this skill
may suffer a penalty if confronted with certain Muslims.

Divinity (C): The legends of many different peoples believe Shielder to be a child of Zeus.
He was known as "the two-horned one" due to his depiction on coins wearing the horns of the
    ram god Zeus-Ammon.

Military Tactics (B): Tactical knowledge used not for one-on-one combat situations, but for
battles where many are mobilized. Bonus modifiers are provided during use of one's own Anti-
Army Noble Phantasm or when dealing against an enemy Anti-Army Noble Phantasm.

    Noble Phantasm

    Derbent~Caspian Gates (B+++, Support)

A legendary barrier built by Shielder to protect the civilized world from the "unclean nations", including
Gog and Magog, Shielder's legendary adversaries. Their exact identity is unclear; they may be individuals,
peoples or lands held back by the great wall that Shielder erected in the mountain pass. Whatever they were,
in the centuries that followed Gog and Magog became symbols of evil, chaos and apocalypse that usher in the
end of the world. Shielder's name means "the two-horned one", but it can also be translated as "he of the two
ages", the first "age" being when the wall is built and protects the people, and the second "age" being the
end of the world, when Allah's divine law leaves the world and Gog and Magog are set loose. Thus, Shielder's
very name carries the concept of divine protection, and his simple wall blocking a mountain pass is elevated
to a mighty bulwark that crystallizes itself within Shielder's body. Simply put, the concept of the wall treats
Shielder as a "fortress" rather than a person. Though he is still recognized as a living being, he cannot be
affected by Anti-Unit and even some Anti-Army Noble Phantasms, since to attack Shielder with such things is
like attacking a stone wall. The only thing that will seriously damage him are Anti-Fortress attacks, and even
then, these are subject to penalties for attacking a wall that holds back the apocalypse. Anti-Fortress attacks
whose origins are tied to evil, chaos and destruction take a - modifier against Shielder. Should the need arise,
Shielder can separate the wall from his body in order to bring a portion of it into the real world. At twenty
meters high and three meters thick, it has all of the same defensive properties with an added + modifier. The
length of wall Shielder can conjure is dependent of how much prana he puts into it; a single twenty meter square
is nothing compared to its full length of forty kilometers. At greater lengths, Shielder can enclose the walls
around his enemy to create an impenetrable prison, forming forcefields above and below so that nothing short of
the apocalypse will set them free.

    Background
Dhul-Qarnayn (translated as "he of the two horns") is a figure in the Quran who is said to be empowered by Allah
to erect a wall separating humanity from evil and chaos, which are represented as the enigmatic figures Gog and
Magog. In the Islamic apocalyptic tradition the end of the world would be preceded by the release of Gog and Magog
from behind the wall, and their destruction by God in a single night would usher in the Day of Resurrection.

Muslims and Jews have identified Dhul-Qarnayn with Alexander the Great. According to a Jewish legend the Scythians,
one of many peoples identified with Gog and Magog, once defeated one of Alexander's generals, upon which Alexander
built a wall in the Caucasus mountains to keep them out of civilized lands; the legend went through much further
elaboration, embellishment and symbolization in the following centuries, and eventually found its way into the Quran.

Alexander was already known as "the two-horned one" due to being depicted wearing the horns of the ram god, Zeus-
Ammon, a fusion of the Greek and Egyptian gods that came about as a result of Alexander's conquests unifying many
elements of the two cultures. He is also called this in a more metaphorical sense because he went from one extremity
or "horn" of the world to the other.

As a Shielder, Alexander cannot use his Gordius Wheel, but theoretically can still invoke Ionioi Hetairoi.

Agrippina actually seems like a pretty cool person to make into a Servant. Maybe we'll get her one day with all the mentions in Caligula's interlude. Though, I want more Roman Servants in general. They're p cool.

    Thank ye.

Speaking of, it seems I was in a mood to write Jap sheets because I made another sheet of a Japanese mythological figure that I want really badly in GO or some other Fate/ work. No idea why he isn't yet tbh. If we're gonna genderbend or make someone into a saberface, this one is the perfect hero to do it for. So without further ado, here's Japanese Astolfo King Arthur.

Artist for the picture below is this dude: http://blazhxxx.deviantart.com/. He drew the three ascension stages of Yamato Takeru if he got added into GO.

    Traits: Human, ''Saberface''
Natural Enemy: His father, Divine Spirits

    Legend

A legendary prince of the Yamato Dynasty who was active during the 4th Century. Originally known as Prince Ōsu, Yamato Takeru is considered to be the biggest epic hero of Japan - even earning the title of being the Japanese equivalent of King Arthur. His legend starts when in his youth he slew his elder brother which resulted in his father sending him to the Izumo Province in order to keep him at a distance out of fear.

However contrary to his father's hopes, he easily dispatched of the enemies he was tasked of defeating by cross-dressing as a beautiful maid servant. It was during this period of time that he was named Yamato Takeru no Mikoto which is roughly translated to The Brave of Yamato. But his father - Emperor Keikō - was not satisfied, thus he sent his son to another mission to squash the rebels in the East. There Yamato Takeru met his aunt Yamato-hime who was a high priestess of the goddess Amaterasu.

Once Yamato learned of his father's desire for him to die, he was deeply grieved. His aunt felt sympathy for him and as a gift, gave him the holy sword Ame-no-Murakumo-no-Tsurugi - which was a sword gifted to Amaterasu by her brother Susano'o who had found it in one of the tails of the phantasmal beast Yamata-no-Orochi. With it, Yamato went to the eastern land and earned many victories. His wife Ototachibana died during a storm in which she sacrificed herself to appease the angered sea god. On his return, he insulted a local god of Mount Ibuki and the god cursed him with a disease that made him fall ill and eventually die.

    Personality:

Contrary to his picture as a brave hero, Yamato Takeru is in fact a very savage, cold and indifferent man. He is not below using underhanded trickery to win his battles despite his strength and skill in combat and he has no trouble in murdering a family member if he was ordered to do so by his father. In fact, it was because of his indifferent and cold attitude that his first wife Ototachibana sacrificed herself. She loved him from the bottom of her heart and devoted her whole being to him, but her love could never reach the young prince who's heart was only full of war and conquest. In the end, he even fancied another woman because of her beautiful looks - while Ototachibana lost hers due to the constant stress from the unrequited love of her husband.

However, despite all of this, he is still very much a hero. Yamato Takeru might be cold and indifferent, but he is also a very brave and heroic man. It was because of his side as a hero that his first wife devoted herself to him. When she sacrificed herself in the end, Yamato Takeru realized how much of a fool he was for letting such a woman go. Only at the very end did he realize what he had lost and he scorned himself because of his unfaithfulness towards her. When he looked back at the deadly sea in which his wife had lost her life, his heart bursted out into a bitter and sorrowful cry. Though he may have been an indifferent and cold, Yamato did his best to try to protect the people and because of this he payed no attention to his wife until the final moments. Furthermore, the extent of his indifference ends when it involves a person he respects such as his father. Despite his attitude towards other, Yamato was still deeply hurt when he learned of his father's desire to kill him.

    Class Skills:

    • Magic Resistance (C) - Cancel spells with a chant below two verses. Cannot defend against Magecraft on the level of High-Thaumaturgy and Greater Rituals. Yamato Takeru did not have any experience with Magic in his legend past the gifts he was given by his aunt so he had no chance to develop a resistance against attacks involving Magic, therefore him having this skill is only a result of him being summoned into the Saber (alternatively Lancer) class container.
    • Riding (B) - Most vehicles can be handled with above average skill. However, cannot ride the likes of Phantasm Races such as Monstrous Beasts. Yamato Takeru was a knight so being skilled in riding horses and similar animals is hardly a surprise.

    Spoiler:

    • Presence Concealment (-) - Lost in favour of Espionage.
    • Mad Enhancement (E) - Normally at a rank as low as this one, the user usually does not receive the benefits of Mad Enhancement. In Yamato's case, when he is in a fight or argument, he will pass a LCK check and failure will result in Yamato going wild and having all his parameters barring mana and luck temporarily raised. See Berserk for more info.

    Personal Skills:

    • Bravery (A+) - The ability to negate effects of mental interference such as pressure, confusion and fascination. At this rank, combat power is increased. It is a rank befitting of someone who was titled ''The Brave of Yamato'' and fought with many heroes as well as attempt to fight Divine Spirits with nothing but his bare knuckles. It was because of this that he was considered the greatest as well as bravest warrior in the army of his father.
    • Berserk (B) - A skill that permits the user to enter a state of controlled rage. Yamato Takeru was known for his extreme outbursts of violence under a cold, calm mask. One day Yamato's father asked of him to reprimand his elder brother for misbehaviour and Yamato did so. After 5 days have passed, the Emperor started to wonder why the elder brother was no longer arriving at mealtimes and so he accordingly asked; ''Why hasn't your brother appeared for such a long time? Could it be that you did not give him my instructions?'' and to that the young prince replied; ''I have, father.'' Upon being asked how did he instruct him, Yamato replied that he had lain in wait for his brother early in the morning when he went to the privy. ''I seized him, smashed him to pieces, tore off his limbs, wrapped them in a straw mat, and threw them away.'' - such was the cold and indifferent reply of the young prince that shook his father to the core.
    • Charisma (C+) - Yamato Takeru often led the armies of his father to subjugate the people that rebelled against the Empire. Though his father did not like him, there was no doubt that Yamato boasted both great prowess and bravery in battle. At this rank, it is possible to lead armies into battle with a great boost to the morale of the soldiers.
    • Grace of God (C) - A skill that denotes the ''beauty of royalty''. Yamato Takeru was a beautiful prince endowed with good looks and pale skin that would make anyone unaware of his gender previously mistake him for a young woman. It was with his looks that he seduced his enemies in the Izumo Province who were eager to have the beautiful cross-dressing maid attendant to sit with them and pour them drinks. In Yamato's case, he was summoned with an appearance not unlike that of Artoria Pendragon's - due to the belief that Yamato Takeru is what could be considered the Japanese equivalent of King Arthur,
    • Subversive Activites (A) - The talent to reduce the enemy forces in the preliminary stages, before going into battle. The owner of this skill can be considered an expert in traps. In one occassion, Yamato Takeru fought a hero that was much bigger and stronger than he is himself. In order to defeat him, Yamato befriended him and while they went swimming in the river Hinokawa, he exchanged the hero's sword with a fake wooden one. Once he was done swimming, Yamato challenged his ''friend'' to a sword fight to see who is the better swordsman and while the latter was struggling with his fake sword, Yamato killed him.

    As Assassin...

    • Espionage (B) - Does not conceal one's presence, but instead it makes one fail to register as hostile to others. Yamato Takeru despite his good looks and calm demeanor was an extremely violent trickster. Neither the Kumaso brothers nor the outlaw Idzumo were able to perceive Yamato's true nature and the result of that failure was death. Not even his own elder brother ever imagined that the calm and indifferent Takeru would eventually tear him to pieces under a simple order such as ''scold him'' from their father.

    Noble Phantasm(s):

    Eight-Arms-Length-Spear
    The Holly-Tree Branch Spear

    Type: Anti-Unit
    Rank: B
    Range: 1
    Max. Target: 1 person

The magic spear granted to Yamato by his father, Emperor Keikō, for the purpose of subjugating the Ainu people. Available only under the Lancer class. In Yamato's days receiving a spear made out of a holly-tree branch was as important as having a banner for regiments in modern day. As a Noble Phantasm, it is merely a normal spear that crystallizes Yamato's nature as the prince of quest. So long as he is taking orders from someone and not working on his own, Yamato's combat prowress will be tripled against enemy units in order to carry out his subjugation mission.

In myth, the holly tree was often ascribed to be a tree that contains protective properties and brings good luck to the beholder. As such, under the Lancer class, Yamato's LCK stat raises immensely as a sign of the holly tree's protection and any enemy fighting Yamato will also have their LCK parameter drop by one or two stat depending on if they pass the MAN check.

    Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi
Sword of Gathering Clouds of Heaven

    Type: Anti-City
    Rank: A++
    Range: 1-99
    Max. Target: 1000+ people

One of the three Imperial Regalia of Japan. It is considered to be the Japanese equivalent of the holy sword Excalibur. Kusanagi was initially known as Ame-no-Murakumo-no-Tsurugi - a sword that the god Susano'o had found in one of the tails of Yamata-no-Orochi. The sword is said to hold a divine authority over all winds as such any manipulation of wind ranging from a small breeze to all-out tornado storms are entirely in this sword's capability. Once it's true name is released, Yamato Takeru is able to tear apart even cities with the immense power of crushing wind currents - it's immensely large scale can result in the deaths of millions though so Yamato does not prefer to use it casually.

He can create protective barriers by manipulating the wind into a single point to form a condensed mass that will resist oncoming attacks or he can simply use the wind to send out quick and sharp wind currents that can slice through stone like butter. Despite the Archer class' advantage over Sabers in battle, Yamato Takeru's manipulation of wind currents will put him at a massive advantage against Servants of the Archer class as being able to manipulate air currents can easily let him blow arrows off course. Yamato's preferred way of battle is not by using solely the wind to be truthful. The Kusanagi sword was only one of the gifts granted to him by his aunt, the other being a bag of firecrackers. By combining the power of the Kusanagi and the firecrackers, Yamato is able to fuel the small fire and manipulate it towards the enemy. This comes from an episode of his legend where he used the blade's wind controlling power to fuel the fire released upon him by an enemy and send it back towards them.

Because of the sword's absolute authority over wind, plus corrections are granted when dealing against Servants related to wind deities and any type of enemy attack that contains the usage of wind can be manipulated into Yamato's favour. However, the true nature of this sword lays elsewhere. It is a sword created by the evil 8 headed dragon Yamata-no-Orochi. As such, it's ability to tear apart cities with the power of natural disasters (such as storms or hurricanes) was born from Yamata-no-Orochi's hatred for humans. In the scenario should Yamato fight humans or deities, the sword will be able to show it's true potential, but in the case of dealing with Servants that have ''monstrous'' traits, battle prowess will be decreased.

There is, however, one glaring weakness of this blade despite it's immense power. A weakness born from Yamato's last adventure - which was the fight against the local God of Mount Ibuki. In his most crucial moment, Yamato made a mistake and decided not to use the sword, thinking he does not require it's usage and instead left it behind. Though, Yamato did indeed manage to defeat the local God with his bare fists, it is because of his decision to leave the sword behind that he was poisoned and fell ill eventually causing his death. As such in the Holy Grail War, if Yamato remains one of the two final Servant participants - in his most crucial moment for victory - his Noble Phantasm will be sealed away, allowing Yamato no usage of it. Though, he will be granted a rank up in STR and END in exchange, but he will at the same time be prone to dizziness. Because of this, it would be wise for the Master to know the strength of every Servant participating as to assure that Yamato would take down the weakest participant last - when he can no longer use the power of Kusanagi.

The appearance this Noble Phantasm takes on is that of a Katana, but in truth Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi was not a katana. It's depiction as a katana is just a common mistake because of the modern belief that the Japanese only use katana blades - even though Kusanagi predates the katana design. Therefore when summoned into a Grail War, the appearance Kusanagi manifests in is falsely that of a katana. Available only under the Lancer, Berserker and Assassin classes. However, in the Assassin class the usage of it's true name is locked away.

Only critique I have is that 6 personal skills is a bit much, I'd consider dropping one.

I actually agree so I dropped the Mt. Ibuki curse as a skill and just put the effects of it under his NP's weakness. I gave that skill to him in the first place because I wanted to justify his low LCK stat (despite his good luck in the earlier days of his life) and to give him a weakness in general besides the Kusanagi thing. It's probably the best skill to drop because it's not that crucial to him and Karna doesn't have his curses as a skill either.

Guess I'm quite late to comment on this, huh.

That's a very negative take on Lovecraft, but then again, it's quite hard to deny his racism, xenophobia and misanthropy. Can't really have him as a hero.

My only complaint is that you did not include cats among the things he likes. http://www.hplovecraft.com/writings/...essays/cd.aspx They're probably the thing he loved the most in the world. I personally would also mention that despite all his prejudices, he managed to marry a Jewish woman.

As I forgot to mention, its good that you mentioned how he would be in other classes. Shows a lot of flavour.

I forgot he loved those murder-balls, i'll go back and add it. Also, even though he married a Jewish woman, she had to call him out on his anti-semitic behaviour multiple times before she left him.

    I'll add that too.

Takeru: Interesting to see another take on this hero, since I did one myself quite some time ago. We went with quite different takes on personality though, with mine being a cute girl who's generally playful and friendly (albeit underhanded and rather ruthless) while yours was a straight-up cold and indifferent killer most of the time (though still heroic).

Our takes on Kusanagi are fairly similar (Anti-City/Fortress tornado sword), though yours is admittedly a little more fleshed out in some ways. Having it be sealed for his last battle(s) sounds like it could be a really severe weakness, though. Like, when you think of Fate, the last two opponents would probably be Gil and Herc, where he'd need Kusanagi the most.

Fun fact: I originally had my Kusanagi as Anti-City but lowered it to Anti-Fortress later on to match Excalibur.

Thanks. I wanted to do that back with my Hitler sheet too, but ended up not doing it. Though in this sheet I forgot to mention that under the Assassin and Lancer classes, he manifests in a state he was in prior to gaining Kusanagi so his LCK stat is much higher in those classes.

Yeah I read up on Takeru a while back and he really came off as a murderous nutcase at times considering even his father was shocked to find out that Takeru casually tore his brother apart limb from limb just because he was asked to scold his brother for his misbehaviour and then just bluntly admitted to it during tea time. It's kind of made a point in some versions that his father was immensely afraid of him and the first person he fights in the legend (the Kumaso guy) he literally shreds into pieces like a watermelon. He even neglected his wife 99% of the time and basically drove her to suicide by not giving a single damn about her feelings.

Though he was largely a hero because he fought for the people (either against mercenaries or monsters that were terrorizing them) and in the end, he did immensely regret what he did to his first wife. He just had no empathy to speak of.

Anyways as for Kusanagi, yeah, absolute authority over wind was the only thing I could think of for the sword to be able to match Excalibur and considering that's more or less the only magic power the sword has in actual legends. I figured anti-city stuff should be fine because Excalibur has that super mode for facing off planetary threats (though, planetary threat could mean a lot of things) spoken about in GoA, but that's never really explained fully iirc. Plus if we're giving absolute wind authority to a NP, Kusanagi is probably the best NP for that.

As for Kusanagi's weakness, yep. It's a severe weakness. The point was to make him a strong heroic spirit that would easily be one of the stronger heroes of the HGW he is summoned into, but if no plans are made he can indirectly cause the Master's defeat in the end so the best course of action would be for the Master to scout out the other Servants first and then defeat the Gil/Herc tier Servants as fast as possible through plans or what not and leave the weakest one for last.
