A Dead Apostle whose power lets him turn rumors and urban legends into reality (well, his true nature is quite a bit more complicated, but that's the gist of it).

"I hear my descendants call people like you Praetor, but that won't be happening with me. You'll have to make do with the title of Civis!"
    ____ARCHER____

    Alternate Classes: Ruler
    Alignment: Neutral Evil
    Epithet: First of the Emperors
    Origin: Ancient Rome
    Parameters
    Strength: C
    Endurance: C
    Agility: C
    Mana: D
    Luck: A+
    NP: A

    Class Skills
    Magic Resistance: D
Magic Resistance grants protection against magical effects. Differing from the Resistance effect that merely rejects Magical Energy, this ability cancels the spells altogether.
Cancels Single-Action spells. Magic Resistance of the same degree of an amulet that rejects magical energy.

    Independent Action: A
Independent Action is the ability to remain independent even when rejecting the Magical Energy supply from one's Master; the ability that allows for action even in the absence of the Master. At higher ranks, it is also possible to remain for extended periods of time in this world without an established contract. It is both useful and troublesome depending on the disposition of the Servant and the rank of Independent Action. Acting in autonomy from the Master's Magical Energy supply, the Master can concentrate their own Magical Energy on large spells, or the Servant will be fine even in the case they cannot supply Magical Energy due to injury. The downside is that they can be harder to control and keep by their side, making the only true way to command them is by utilizing Command Spells.
It is possible to take action even without a Master. However, to use Noble Phantasms of great magical energy consumption, backup from the Master is necessary. At Rank A, it is possible for a Servant to stay in the world for about a week without a Master.

    Personal Skills
    Imperial Privilege: EX
Imperial Privilege is an ability that, due to the insistence of the owner, Skills that are essentially impossible to possess can be obtained for a short period of time. In cases when the Rank is А or above, even the "burden to the body" can be acquired (such as Divinity).
The first of all emperors. The man known as Imperator. Princeps Civitatis! For Archer, his relevant Skills are Riding, swordsmanship, fine arts, Charisma, Clairvoyance, Military Tactics, Incitement, archery and a truly diverse set of other things. Archer has chosen to seal his natural rank in Military Tactics, instead intending to exploit the version Imperial Privilege provides. By freely making use of this Skill, Archer is able to qualify for his Class despite no formal training in the art of archery.

    Rosy-Cheeked Adonis: B-

Rosy-cheeked Adonis is the disposition as a pretty boy who charms people. A fascination magic-like effect that works on both men and women, but one can abate it so long there is a will to resist. Complete evasion by means of a Magic Resistance Skill is possible.
A beautiful boy, even by the standards of aristocratic Roman life that he knew. A common pastime for aristocratic women at the time; many of whom were married simply for family contacts while their husbands went off to play with mistresses, was to prey on the young boys wandering Rome’s streets. And Archer was an extremely popular target. At one point it was said over half of the Senate’s wives had ensnared Archer, until he proved it false himself in public with words as eloquent as they were absolutely filthy. Archer’s personality really doesn’t suit being as cute as he is, so there will always seem to be a disconnect between his behavior and what profits from it. Unfortunately, it seems his looks let him get his way far too often.

    Divinity: C+
Divinity is the measure of whether one has Divine Spirit aptitude or not. At high levels, one is treated as a mixed race of a Divine Spirit, and the level declines when the Heroic Spirit's own rank as a Monster or Demonic Beast raises. It can also decrease due to one's dislike for the gods. Those who have A Rank Divinity or above has reached the Throne of Gods. It also has an effect which reduces special defensive values called 'purge defense' in proportion to the Divinity's Rank. It can break through Skills such as Protection of the Faith and Enlightenment of the Sacred Fig.
A self-styled descendent of Apollo, despite extenuating historical records that prove otherwise and do nothing to confirm Archer’s claim. However, his adoption by the now-Divine Spirit Julius Caesar was a fact he paraded proudly wherever he could. Divi Filius, the Son of God. In addition to being deified himself posthumously; Archer’s Divinity rank does not come from a single source, but rather several that compound into the image of a living demigod.

    Subversive Activities: D
Subversive Activities is the talent to reduce the enemy forces in the preliminary stages before going into battle. An expert of traps. However, the higher the ranking of this Skill, the more one's spiritual status as a hero declines.
Notorious for being the scheming commander who calls the shots from the back lines, Archer is an expert at utilizing his various resources to achieve his goals, no matter how many laws he has to bend or break in the process. Famously, his long clandestine campaign against the assassins of Julius Caesar that resulted in the revival of proscription. After consolidating power, he put his talents to work subverting the Triumvirate to suit his own needs. Capable of disabling 20% of the total military force before the enemy arrives.

    Noble Phantasm
    Palatinus
    Fallen Thunderbolt of Triumphant Victory

    (Anti-Fortress, B)
A Noble Phantasm crystallizing several key events that resulted in Archer’s unquestioned dominance over the Roman Empire. At an undisclosed point in time--however it’s agreed upon to be immediately before the final confrontation with Antony and Cleopatra, and after the defeat of Sextus Pompeius--while Archer was living within Rome for a change, a lightning bolt struck his property. In Roman life, thunder and lightning were seen as incredibly ill omens, the Senate having a special law that required sessions to be cancelled should the forecast call for thunder (Archer himself abusing this superstition earlier in his life). Archer, however, took this as a portentous occasion. Already thinking of himself as the Roman Alexander, Archer decided to dedicate the site to a future temple of his patron god and “ancestor” Apollo. Lightning was viewed as more of an aspect of the Distant Archer Apollo than it was Jupiter/Zeus as was the Greek foundation, and Archer perceived it correctly as a good omen for his oncoming war with Antony.
At the decisive Battle of Actium, Archer claimed that the initial firebrand thrown onto Antony’s ships was actually another lightning strike, cementing his claim as Apollo’s chosen son. It is the aftermath of Actium that formally ended the Roman Republic, and created the massive entity of the Roman Empire.

The Noble Phantasm has various components. The first being Archer’s bow--which he has named Livia--and the second being his quiver of aquillas-turned-arrows. An aquilla is a Roman standard topped with an eagle, carried into each major conflict the Romans ever fought. Losing an aquilla was seen as the height of dishonor, Archer going so far as to personally recover several lost in Julius Caesar’s campaigns. Firing an aquilla releases the arrow as a bolt of lightning immediately after the arrow has left the string, functioning like a “hitscan” weapon with brutal accuracy. The arrow’s speed is almost too great, as leading a target can prove difficult when the bolt has already landed before the enemy has a chance to run into it.

Fortunately, Archer claims that he doesn’t even need to land a direct hit in order to be effective. The charged air the lightning arrow leaves behind quickly begins to contort into a vacuum as it rushes back into place. This snap effect generates enormous heat value, turning an area greater than the arrow’s flight path into a “horizontal corridor of twisting flame”. Or in other words, a fire tornado laid on its side. It’s called a “promised victory” weapon if only because escaping it is rather difficult.

    Pax Romana
    Thrice Closing the Gates

    (Anti-Army, A)
Pax Romana was the long period of relative peacefulness and minimal expansion by the Roman military force experienced by the Roman Empire after the end of the Final War of the Roman Republic and before the beginning of the Crisis of the Third Century. During this time, the Roman empire reached its peak land mass area and its population grew up to 70 million people. It lasted approximately 206 years, the longest record of sustained peace in ancient Rome’s history.

Accomplished by firing three of his aquilla arrows at once, the sources of impact become origin points for a triangular Bounded Field. The subtext of the Noble Phantasm relates to the Temple of Janus, which famously kept its doors open whenever Rome was at war. Three times Archer gave cause for the gates to be closed before true pan-Roman peace was established, and so for three days the aquillas must remain unmolested for the Bounded Field to reach completion.
Upon doing so, the concept of “conflict” becomes one that is no longer allowed to exist within the enclosed space. Violence can still be enacted within the Bounded Field, however these actions will no longer have direct consequences. Grass will remain untrodden no matter how many times one steps on it. Weapons can fired from the outside into the affected area, but will systematically be crushed to the earth by an imposing gravity. An inescapable pressure halts disagreements with Archer before they start, allowing for rather one-sided peace negotiations. Thus is the childish peace achieved by the boyish emperor.

    History

Augustus was the founder of the Roman Principate and considered the first Roman emperor, controlling the Roman Empire from 27 BC until his death in AD 14. He was born Gaius Octavius into an old and wealthy equestrian branch of the plebeian gens Octavia. His maternal great-uncle Julius Caesar was assassinated in 44 BC, and Octavius was named in Caesar's will as his adopted son and heir, then known as Octavianus. He, Mark Antony, and Marcus Lepidus formed the Second Triumvirate to defeat the assassins of Caesar. Following their victory at the Battle of Philippi, the Triumvirate divided the Roman Republic among themselves and ruled as military dictators. The Triumvirate was eventually torn apart by the competing ambitions of its members. Lepidus was driven into exile and stripped of his position, and Antony committed suicide following his defeat at the Battle of Actium by Octavian in 31 BC.

After the demise of the Second Triumvirate, Augustus restored the outward façade of the free Republic, with governmental power vested in the Roman Senate, the executive magistrates, and the legislative assemblies. In reality, however, he retained his autocratic power over the Republic as a military dictator. By law, Augustus held a collection of powers granted to him for life by the Senate, including supreme military command, and those of tribune and censor. It took several years for Augustus to develop the framework within which a formally republican state could be led under his sole rule. He rejected monarchical titles, and instead called himself Princeps Civitatis ("First Citizen of the State"). The resulting constitutional framework became known as the Principate, the first phase of the Roman Empire.

The reign of Augustus initiated an era of relative peace known as the Pax Romana. The Roman world was largely free from large-scale conflict for more than two centuries, despite continuous wars of imperial expansion on the Empire's frontiers and the year-long civil war known as the "Year of the Four Emperors" over the imperial succession. Augustus dramatically enlarged the Empire, annexing Egypt, Dalmatia, Pannonia, Noricum, and Raetia; expanding possessions in Africa; expanding into Germania; and completing the conquest of Hispania. Beyond the frontiers, he secured the Empire with a buffer region of client states and made peace with the Parthian Empire through diplomacy. He reformed the Roman system of taxation, developed networks of roads with an official courier system, established a standing army, established the Praetorian Guard, created official police and fire-fighting services for Rome, and rebuilt much of the city during his reign.

Augustus died in AD 14 at the age of 75. He probably died from natural causes, although there were unconfirmed rumors that his wife Livia poisoned him. He was succeeded as Emperor by his adopted son Tiberius.

    Relationships

    Cleopatra
“You. What’s this, then? My ladle good enough for you to sit on now? Fuck off and die again, you shitty hag.”

The foreign consort of Caesar’s main political enemy and fellow triumvir, Mark Antony. Due to the rumor that she kept Antony on a short leash--including but not limited to drugging him into a stupor--and the fact that she had once been a mistress to Julius Caesar made her an easy target for Augustus. That’s not to say that she didn’t bring any of the misfortune on herself; Caesar’s reaction relates to a supposed quote from the Pharaoh after Caesar had entered a city with a name that roughly translated to “ladle”. Cleopatra remarked that “the king was now sitting on the ladle”, as the word “ladle” in Latin is also a euphemism for penis, calling back to the old rumors that Caesar had earned his position by prostituting himself to various senators as well as his divine father Julius.
Despite the childish vitriol, Caesar never really cared one way or the other about Cleopatra. After her suicide he reversed his position on her for the most part, as a dead enemy is far easier to respect. It’s definitely something of a tsundere reaction, there’s no hiding it.

    Julius Caesar
“Divine father, glory to Caesar! But aren’t you a bit chubbier than last time…? And what are you doing with that Greek hussy!”

Frankly, meeting his great uncle and father again would most likely just give Caesar a panic attack. He was a boy of 14 when the Ides of March occurred, and Caesar spent the rest of his life building Julius into an omniscient presence even greater than his own over the Roman people. Anything that challenges such a perception would no doubt just be seen as a disappointment, however Caesar will inevitably find himself bowing to his uncle’s requests.

    Caligula
“Haha, so you’re my grandson or something like that, huh? Sweet descendent of mine, sorry but it looks like you inherited my temper! Wait...you did what!?”

Although Caesar adopted several sons after his marriage with Livia proved barren, Caligula’s grandmother Julia is the only known biological child of Augustus. Though he divorced Julia’s mother Scribonia on the day of her birth, Caesar kept a close love for his first and only daughter. Because of this, Caesar would be willing to look at Caligula with a slightly more...forgiving eye. That being said, the man who waged more war against Rome itself than foreign enemies can only be pressed so far, even considering his great-grandson.

    Alexander/Iskandar
“A-Alexander, great conqueror! Look, look! Aren’t my legions impressive? Praise me, I promise not to break your nose.”

The most respected foreign hero of Caesar’s life, as the war with Carthage was still too recent to think of Hannibal in such glowing terms. The legacy of Alexander is something all Roman leaders were actively comparing themselves to, and they were more than aware of the inferiority complex before the man known as the Great. Still, Caesar’s respect for Alexander was of a worrisome magnitude sometimes. Pompey was dead and gone, thus Caesar was able to style himself as the Roman Alexander in the late general’s stead. Despite the rumors that Caesar meant to relocate the capital to Alexandria, he visited Alexander’s tomb himself in the middle of protests. Like the impatience of his hero, Caesar’s own exuberance in Alexander’s presence caused him to break the corpse’s nose.

Borrowing Fabuzer's method of doing relationship sections. Don’t expect anything this in depth again for a while--if ever. Just had to get this out because I finished a book on the man recently and the last Augustus sheet in the old thread was a bit lacking imo.

    Class Skills
    True Name Discernment: B
If summoned as a Ruler, during a direct encounter, a Servant's true name and entire status information will be automatically revealed. In regards to Servants with concealment abilities, a Luck Check is required to bypass those abilities.

    God's Resolution: A
Two Command Spells can be used for each Servant participating in the Holy Grail War. Cannot re-purpose the Command Spells of others.

    Magic Resistance: B+
He Poses a unnaturaly high piety, even to the point of letting a beast maul him every day until the end of time as punishment for stabbing jesus therefore he has remarkable resistance to magic

    Personal Skills
    Soul of a Martyr: EX
After his death, his soul was condemed to a cave where he would be mauled for the rest of time by a beast, having his flesh regenerate overnight. however the grail was able to save him by transporting his soul to the throne after about 2000 years of punishment have passed, but he semmingly never succumbed to punishment, this gives him almost complete immunity against mental interference, having expirienced what could be the most painful torture for a martyr.

    Weak Constitution: E~EX
Originaly, Ruler was blind, but after stabbing jesus the blood that dripped on his eyes cured him of his blindness. this skill will only manifest if Ruler feels remorseful for an action and will go away once he counquers that remorse

    Saint: A
Although he is less popular than a certain saint from france, he is a saint that directly encountered jesus. and faced torture as a holy martyr of a highest level. giving him high sainthood
upon summoning one of the abilities of the saint is selected: "raising the effectiveness of sacraments", "automatic HP recovery", "1 Rank-Up to Charisma" and "production of a holy shroud is possible".

    Divinity: E-
Having Jesus's blood fall into his eyes and enter his bloodstream qualifies him weakly for divinity. although he caries divine blood. he can only make miniscule use of it.

    Noble Phantasms
The holy lance piercing the son of god
Lancea Longini, The Spear of Destiny
    (EX) (Anti-Divine)
    Appearance

"O Lancea, Grant me the power, with your tip soaked in the blood of christ pierce even the ends of the world, amen"
The legendary spear that pierced the son of god,
This noble phantasm is the lancea, also called the spear of destiny in the bible a legendary holy spear that pierced Jesus Christ.
Its Appearance Originally was that of a normal roman spear However after The blood of christ sepped into the wood of handle, over time it transformed itself into a beatiful divine construct reaching 5 meters in lenght whose brilliance rivals that of The holy sword Excalibur. Being a spear that killed a divine and is divine. it has two sides.
The power of the Lance is equal to that of Rhongomiyad however it has an effect of being toxic to divine spirits. simmilar the noble phantasm of the demon king of the sixth heaven, Oda Nobunaga but its other side is what gives it EX Status, The blood of christ flows from the tip of the Lance and is able to heal antyhing, from cuts and bruises. to mental disorders and even terminal illneses however it looses its status as a divine construct once the blood is absorbed by a person reverting back to a normal looking spear. requiring 40 days to regenerate, the same amount of time it took Jesus to ascend to heaven.

The Noble phantasm also has a very high tool on ruler's and his master's mana if he was to be placed under the lancer class but because he is summoned as a ruler this problem is negated

    Unending Martydom
    Endless Mauling
    (B) (Anti-Self)
Upon dying longinus was condemed to a cave where he would be mauled every day and his flesh would regenerate over night. this is the process that gave him kindness and strenght and made him realize his love for god
Upon activation, the gate of hell will appear and Ruler will walk into it. in there he continues his punshment of being mauled endlessly through day and night for seven days.
on the eight day the gate will reapear and he will step out of it. he will be completly healed from the damage of his Spiritual core, Skills and stats also recieve a rank up of 1 on all skills and stats expect for Divinity for 40 days
in a sense, its a noble phantasm made to mimic the martyrdom of jesus.

    Ce/Personality/Reactions
    Martyred saint of the spear
this fate i do not lamnent,
after all i deserved it. having pierced the son of god who does miracles.

Ruler is Humble and kind, but very loyal to his master. to the point of him accepting any of his master's orders if it is not morally inncorect
most of all he cannot bear to see a child cry. be it for any reason. and will seek to end any reason of the sadness of a child.
in personality he resembles jesus himself, taking on his traits after he conquered his remorse.
his warm smile can also be noted.

however during battle ruler becomes more serious and professional as the effect of the intense roman discipline that crafted him, showing him in a different light

he has no wish for the grail, for if he had, it would signify that he is still tied to his roman origins. and this is what qualifies him for ruler class

    Nero Claudius
The infamous tyrrant who opressed the christian people, although she comes in the story of rome later, i cant help but feel hatred for that emperor, but at the same time my roman side tells me to respect her as the emperor of rome.

    Jeanne
I would never compare to a saint such as joan of arc master, but i do respect here as a fellow saint. even if my saint skill is higher i believe im not worthy of the credit im given

    Armament: Bare hands
Catalyst: One stone from the Palmares's ruin

    Class Skills:

    Madness enhancement E

    Personal Skills:

    Capoeira A
A fighting style created by Brazilian slaves, in the colonial ages. It originated from African culture, but was adapted by slaves to deceive their masters what created a very unique style, one that will confuse even heroes.

    Battle continuation A+
    Do not give up easily.
Zumbi was worshiped as "imortal" while alive, survived betrays and surprise attacks, only dying years after his defeat.

    Disengage B
Can restart the battle or flee easily.
As a slave that escaped death many times, his ability is pretty high.

    Stoicism B+
Can resist high amounts of pain.
While alive, zumbi was the "symbol of resistance" for all slaves.

    Lore
Millions of African slaves were brought to Brazil for many and many decades, suffering the most inhumane experiences during all their lives.
But many resisted. The slavery, the suffering. Fleeing from their masters, the slaves lived in "quilombos", villages where they could follow their culture and liberty.
Yet the suffering accompanied them. Their former masters chased and killed everyone.
All their souls, from dead and living alike, prayed for salvation.
    Prayed for a hero.
    So, a hero was created.
Palmares, the biggest quilombo. As large as Portugal, it was more of a kingdom.
There, he emerged. The so longed hero.
A warrior more powerful than the ocean's tides, faster than the highest clouds, more resistant than massive rock.
    They say he is imortal
    Like a doomed spectre

    So, they called him "
    Spectre
    Zumbi
    ".
He ruled Palmares, driving off numerous invasions.
Then the defeat came, and was merciless.
All his people, his house, his life was destroyed.
Yet, he persisted. Surviving the last battle of Palmares, Zumbi swore vengeance.
And he was betrayed, almost dying.
At that moment he knew... There is no end in being a hero.
Even if you embodies every hope, every desire, you will be hated and betrayed by someone.
"People want martyrs, leaders want warriors. I was both, and still no one smiled at the very end"

    Personality:
A wise and gentle man who expresses maternal care to all his allies, because of the madness enhancement he is sometimes laconic and forcefull. Despite not agreeing with heroes of justice, he can't disguise his own old ideals.
In battle he is merciless. Never holding back, he believes that the enemy has to be defeated in the first opportunity.

    Noble Phantasm(s):

    Imortal Warrior
    Zumbi

    Type: Anti unit (self)
    Rank: D
Normally Zumbi covers his skin with many rags, only to not disgust people with the view of his numerous scars. Over all his body, horrible scars everywhere.
Every scar holds a certain amount of magical energy and a cure spell. When activated, he can cure near-death wounds by "consuming" one scar.
It's not like every scar is one life, they only hold a certain amount of power. To revive he would use up more scars, if it is from instant death many scars would be needed.
There is no way to retrieve the scars.

    Citadel of Tears
    Palmares

    Type: Anti army
    Range: 2km
    Rank: B+
"Even if they betrayed me, I still hold the pain of all my brothers. Even if they abandon me, I still am the condensation of all his tears"
No one can even imagine what all these slaves suffered... Is something beyond human understanding.
Zumbi is the crystallization of all this suffering.
When activating this Noble Phantasm, Zumbi release all that suffering from inside his body, creating a black rain.
Transparent clouds will disperse for 2km around Zumbi, with a black rain that do not soak anything, affecting only rational beings and man-made things.
Man-made things will melt, and rational beings will go insane, losing all sign of reason and commiting suicide.
It is a curse so great that can melt away buildings. The worst effects can be avoided by a somewhat high magical resistance or resistance against curses, but no modern mage can completelly block this.
Whoever, Zumbi himself lose all reasoning too. He do not move away from the spot where he released this Noble Phantasm, not talking or reacting at anything, like a dead body, until his magical energy runs out or a command spell is used.

Zumbi: Nice sheet, but just so you know, Berserkers don't have Magic Resistance as a Class Skill. Might want to correct that.

    =SABER=

    Artist: 海鼠@お仕事募集中[pixiv]

    Possible Alternate Classes: Archer, Lancer
True Name: Yuenü - The Maiden of Yue
    Gender: Female
    Height/Weight: 160 cm / 46 kg
    Alignment: Neutral Good
Place of Origin: China (Historical Fiction)

Service and Sacrifice by Jeremy Zuckerman (Legend of Korra Original Soundtrack)

    =Parameters=

    Strength: B
    Endurance: C
    Agility: A+
    Mana: B
    Luck: B
    NP: A

    =Class Skills=

    - Riding (B):
one can ride animals and most vehicles with above average expertise.

Saber was trained in horseback riding and archery by her father at a young age, and spent much more time learning and developing a multitude of skills on her own while growing up alone after his disappearance. Though, she was never gifted at any of those as she was with the sword.

    - Magic Resistance (B):
cancel spells with a chant below three verses. Even if targeted by High-Thaumaturgy and Greater Rituals, it is difficult for a Servant to be affected.

The forest where Saber resided held many teachings, one of them being how to harmonize with her inner self. There, she honed the ability to dispel and protect against a decent manner of "disruptions".

    =Personal Skills=

    - Obfuscation (EX):
the ability to mask one's presence as a Servant. At this rank, it is possible to become one with the World itself. The moment one shifts to attack, it becomes A+.

In life and legend, Saber was and often still appeared as a commoner leading many to underestimate her until it was far too late for them to rethink their actions.

    - Eye of the Mind (A, False):
a heightened capacity for observation, derived from talent and an innate sixth sense.

Even as a girl with no combat experience, Saber was able to defeat several seasoned veterans at once armed with only a bamboo stick.

    - Disengage (C):
the ability to break away from combat.

Choosing to live in obscurity even after her talents became known to the world, Saber disliked needless confrontation.

    =Noble Phantasms=

    - Goujian, The Sword of Yin and Yang (C+, Anti-Army):
the moon glowing, rune-covered bronze sword of the king of the same name whose men Saber was asked to train.

It is the Chinese equivalent of another holy sword of renown in a land far to the west [1]. In the hands of Saber it is disguised as a simple bamboo stick to be used with the intent to disarm and disable, but, not kill. When the point is reached where its true nature is necessary and killing blows must be had, the bamboo covering the blade falls away. Charged with her od it is able to unleash a wave of energy which either stuns, cripples, or kills on contact. This energy takes the form of a great white tiger when released.

    When this sword was made,
    Chijian Mountain burst open and brought forth tin;
Ruoye Valley solidified and brought forth bronze.
The Master of Rain swept and sprinkled.
The Lord of Thunder worked the bellows.
    Jiaolong served at the furnace.
The Heavenly Emperor prepared the charcoal.
    The Great Unity looked down.
The Heavenly Essence descended to the place.

    - Behind The Door, Is Neither Human Nor Tiger (A, Anti-Fortress):
Saber’s way of the sword in its complete demonstration.

“The ultimate sword skill", rivaling that of a neighboring country's most well-known rōnin [2].

Her way of the sword was thus that even being taught the smallest portion of it and then teaching that to others—a pale shadow of a pale shadow—one could face one hundred, and one hundred against one thousand. With her technique, no matter who she faced in her travels nor how many of them there were, she was able to defeat them. After showing armies her way of the sword, and a certain incident where she assaulted a woman who’d stolen her first love, she vanished from history; almost as if she never existed to begin with. Though, two things were passed down in legacy: a small portion of her way of the sword in its true, complete demonstration and the holding of hand to bosom. That is to say, the later formation of large scale conflict and all the broken hearts left in its wake.

Able to channel all of her remaining od to encase her body and sword in a barrier which amplifies her parameters to extraordinary levels for one, final burst. Those who try to dissipate the barrier cannot break it, as the speed at which it cyclones around Saber is so lethal it seems to bend and shape the World itself. A pseudo-Reality Marble, by surrendering herself to the beast in her heart [3], Saber becomes a force of nature obliterating all in her path. Behind the dance of her sword is the manifestation of a tiger in all its ferocity.

"The way of fighting… is to strengthen one’s inner spirit while remaining outwardly calm and well mannered."

"She may look like an elegant lady, but she fights like a fierce tiger."

    =Bio=

A commoner and swordswoman who lived during the Spring and Autumn and the Warring Kingdoms periods of Chinese history whose teachings were featured by her country's most famous general and military strategist and exploits popularized by its most beloved wuxia storyteller [4].

After King Goujian of Yue's defeat and humiliation by the Kingdom of Wu, he developed a violent, all-consuming passion for revenge. Rebuilding his kingdom with barbarism to one day challenge the power of Wu, the king found that his army was still no match for his hated enemy's own soldiers. He searched far and wide for a swordmaster worthy to train his army with little success until he came upon a simple sheep herder by the name of A'qīng. Impressed by her swordsmanship, he trained his armies in her way of the sword and defeated the Kingdom of Wu.

Her task done, A'qīng—now praised as Yuenü, or Maiden of Yue—and after an embarrassing incident involving her own naivety against the country's most beautiful woman [5]—moved on.

However, victory doesn't come without a price. Though peace prospered for a time, King Goujian became cruel and merciless, prideful and warmongering. Many of those closest to him were executed or committed suicide. His kingdom ultimately fell apart and its survivors fled. When he died, he was buried with his sword. Over the centuries since, locals saw a white tiger standing upon his tomb and thought it to be the personification of the king and the wanderer who helped him—of war and peace.

    [1] Excalibur
    [2] Miyamoto Musashi
[3] Based upon her feats in life, it was believed that Saber was not entirely human.
[4] Sun Tzu and Jin Yong, wuxia = "martial arts and chivalry"
[5] Fàn Lí. She was to the East as Helen of Troy was to the West, the beauty who destroyed a great kingdom. Yuenü blasted her with magical energy out of childish anger.

Yuenu: This is really good. With all the detail you put in, it's easily one of your best sheets by far I'd say. I can definitely feel your fondness for the character coming through here. I have a few small critiques though.

First, her Obfuscation Skill is way too OP. The anecdote supporting it feels flimsy to me (disguising yourself as a commoner could warrant Powerless Shell or something similar, but I don't see it equating to making yourself completely undetectable) and Yuenu's a powerful enough swordswoman on her own without needing a stealth ability on the level of SF's True Assassin as well.

Second, what's with those question marks in the names of certain Skills?

My guess is things that are likely to be changed later.

Only critique of Yuenü myself would be switching out Eye of Mind (False) with a unique skill perhaps - being the basis of all chinese martial arts and surpassing all of man and heaven, my first thoughts would be Eternal Arms Mastery or a skill that allows access to otherwise skills like the Tsubame Gaeshi or Miamoto Musashi's stuff.

    Class: Berserker

    True Name: Talos

    Alignment: True Neutral

    Parameters:

    Strength: A++
    Endurance: A++
    Agility: D
    Mana: C
    Luck: E
    Noble Phantasm: B

    Skills

    Class Skills:

    Mad Enhancement: D
Raises basic parameters and strengthens one's physical abilities in exchange of hindering mental capacities and/or their sense of reason. The rank is rather low for this Class, enhancing only Strength and Endurance. Speech is still possible, but complex thoughts can bring complications. Berserker barely had a sense of self, but developed one after its encounter with a young witch, who led it to a short-lived madness followed by death.

    Personal Skills:

    Guardian Knight: B-

A rare Skill that grants the Servant a temporary attribute bonus if acting in the defense of others. Upon summoning, Berserker will immediately mark its Master as "the one who must be protected". As long as Berserker is guarding its Master, defensive power is raised significantly. Berserker was crafted for one single purpose: protect a woman loved by the King of Gods. It never faltered in this duty until it met a young bewitching magus.

    Projectile (Rocks): A
The expertise for throwing projectile weapons; in this case, rocks. It may sound ridiculous, but Berserker's inhuman strength compensates for the odd choice of weaponry. Rocks as large as one's head can be thrown with enough force to collapse a small house in a single hit. Berserker can form its own rocks through its Self-Modification skill. In its legend, by picking up large boulders and throwing them, Berserker easily sank hundreds of ships that threatened the woman it was tasked to protect. Not even the famous Argo and its Argonauts could directly match Berserker's monstrous power.

    Earthly Vessel: A
By virtue of being an existence made of earthly materials, one's body can be shaped and modified. In Berserker's case, it's any type of metal. A Skill possessed only by inhuman Heroic Spirits. Berserker is capable of shaping its body to form any sort of weapon: swords, axes, spears, maces, shields. By shedding much of its body mass and forming a pair of wings, even a limited form of flight can be achieved. Berserker can absorb metallic materials by coming into contact with them, but its body mass is limited to a set value. If its body is heavily mutilated, as long as Magical Energy is sufficient, Berserker can merge the broken parts and reform it. Berserker was a creature of the earth, crafted by the Divine Spirit Hephaestus, all for one purpose. Manipulating its body to such an extent alienated it from the concept of humanity, but it was born to be a tool, so no one ever cared.

    Noble Phantasms

    Zoi Ilios: The Life-Granting Sun
    Type: Anti-Unit (Self)/Anti-Army
    Type: B/A+

Talos is the Sun. In Crete, Berserker's true name was the equivalent of Helios, the Greek embodiment of the Sun. Rather than the two having any actual link or bond, it hints at Berserker's birth and origin instead.

As a Noble Phantasm of the Gods, endowed with strength and toughness that not even Demi-Gods could hope to match, a powerful energy source was required in order to sustain such an imposing existence.

Hephaestus replicated a Sun and shrank it. Although the size was dramatically different from the real deal, it still accomplished its objective by animating the once motionless statue of brass and bronze.

Zoi Ilios is located in the same spot where one might find a human's heart. It's a mystical furnace, endlessly emanating magical energy that's converted into heat if Berserker doesn't consume it. As a result, steam is constantly emitted from its mouth and its unmeltable metallic body is capable of reaching blazing temperatures that instantly boil water, liquefy flesh and injure even Servants on contact unless they possess a particular resistance.

By stimulating the mini-sun acting as its core, Berserker can boost the production of magical energy even further, enhancing the above-mentioned effects. In Berserker's legends, pirates and intruders would be executed with a hug from its heated body, reducing their bodies to sizzling husks devoid of fluids and life. In this state, Servants without high defensive values would be instantly killed.

It acts as Berserker's main power source, making support from the Master meaningless. The Berserker Class is infamous for the obscene amount of prana it demands, but if not for this Noble Phantasm, this particular Heroic Spirit would drain an average magus of all their reserves in a minute if allowed to rampage. Thanks to Zoi Ilios, Berserker can always fight at full capacity and won't tire, making him the ideal Servant for attriction battles.

If Berserker wills it, Zoi Illios can be overcharged and turned into a powerful Anti-Army blast surpassing a modern nuke when it comes to raw power. Anyone caught in the radius will be undoubtedly vaporized, including Berserker itself.

    Lore and Background

A Noble Phantasm of Olympus, crafted by the Divine Spirit Hephaestus.

Zeus had fallen for a woman, Europa. As he always did, he kidnapped her and made her his lover. To appease her rage and indignation, he gave her three gifts: a javelin that would never miss, a hunting dog that would always reach its prey and an indestructible giant that would never fail to protect her.

With a miniature sun acting as its core, the man of bronze and brass was given the name Talos and tasked with the safety of Europa. However, upon gazing at him, Europa immediately scowled in disgust: it was nothing more than a puppet, yet it possessed a perfection that made it hard to look at. Moreover, invincibility was a frightening concept: even the Gods themselves had weak points, but this giant was a perfect shield that couldn't be harmed in the slightest.

Europa complained that Talos lacked humanity. She didn't wish to understand Talos, but rather have some reassurance. If she had to accept such a being as her protector, she wanted a way to defeat it.

As a compromise between an infallible guardian and a frail being that even a normal woman could defeat, Hephaestus added a vein to Talos, running from the neck to the ankle. It was small and insignificant when compared to its size, but a simple strike would rupture it and cause all the magical energy within its body to violently leak out, damaging the giant and depriving Talos of its fuel until it "died".

For many years, Talos did its duty. Every day it would circle the island of Crete three times, destroying any enemy ship and invading army. Decades passed and eventually Europa died, but Talos still protected her sons and grandsons.

The giant was unbeatable, so the citizens never needed to worry for their own safety, yet they never showed gratitude or love for the guardian which never stopped to rest. After all, it was tantamount to thanking a chair for not breaking or a door for opening: Talos was nothing but a tool and did as it was expected from it.

A tool developing a self. It was a laughable proposition. And yet, with no one noticing, the giant slowly began to display small unprecedented behaviours: it would take a few more minutes to circle the island as it gazed at the sea and when it was not needed it would stare directly at the blue sky as if admiring it.

One day, the Argonauts approached the island. Led by Jason, they had recently stolen the Golden Fleece and kidnapped the princess Medea, who had ripped her little brother Apsyrthus to pieces. Of course, that meant nothing to Talos: though they were famous Heroes, they were still intruders, so the giant repelled them.

Talos constantly kept the Argo at bay by throwing giant boulders. The Argonauts were aware of the bronze titan's weakness, but none could exploit it, not Atalanta and neither Heracles. The weakness granted to Crete's guardian was never meant to be something that could be hit in battle, but rather a way for a frail woman to take down a weapon of the Gods. The key to defeat Talos would be betrayal.

Medea sailed to the island alone. Talos detected no hostile intent and didn't see her as a threat, so it allowed it. When she approached Talos, the giant didn't react. When she touched it, the titan felt no magecraft at work and didn't react. When she talked to it, the construct knew no words and couldn't answer.

Days passed as Medea conversed with it. For all its existence, Talos had only heard words a few times. Even the elders who had lived on Crete for more than sixty years had never spoken to him. Although it understood her words, speaking was not possible for Talos. It could only communicate through body language and grunts, but it was still far more than any tool should have been capable of.

The bronze giant was still ready to intercept the Argo, but it lowered its guard as it got used to Medea's presence. What Talos felt was not affection, but perhaps it acknowledged her as a being it could trust. Slowly, it was taught of concepts like "happiness" and "sadness". Talos never felt the latter and neither the former; it had no wish for such emotions either, as its existence was linked to its duty as Crete's shield.

However, during its daily patrols, the construct had lately been wondering of the outside world. It was nothing more than an unrealizable fantasy that it both yearned for and rejected. Yet, when Medea asked if there was the tiniest desire of freedom within it, the giant gave an almost hesitant nod. The princess of Colchis did not laugh or scoff at a tool's wish, but smiled kindly.

It was, perhaps, in this instant that Talos felt something for the first time. A human emotion, warm and soothing, possible only because it lost its perfection and became more human due to Europa's hate. Thanks to Medea's acknowledgement, Talos began to truly "live" for the first time...

Medea struck the giant's weak point with an odd dagger: "I'll free you from your duty."

The Noble Phantasm of the Gods fell. Instantly, it lost more than a third of its magical reserves. As it attempted to stand up, Medea met its eyes and sneered at the giant with an oddly cruel expression, not at all fitting her, as if she was forcing herself to.

"... A tool having emotions? How disgusting! You should just d-die here! You became a failure the instant you let me land on this island...!"

It was akin to kicking a baby. In a sense, Talos couldn't be called a living being before and only after having interacted with Medea did it become one. Deriding it and rooting out the emotions it had just began to develop was a cruel act that destroyed the mind along the body.

The giant could only trash around as it went mad. It didn't understand Medea's actions because they made no sense. Its cries of confusion, which came out as roars that shook the sea, were understood only by the princess of Colchis, who turned her back and refused to witness its last moments.

Talos perished pitifully, forgotten like a broken tool. After betraying her kingdom and butchering her little brother, Medea took her third step towards her sorrowful fate as the Witch of Betrayal.

    Personality

Talos was truly "born" only after Medea acknowledged its desire to be something more than a tool. As a result, one might call it a baby when it comes to attitudes and behaviours.

It finds everything curious. Despite having seen them so many times, it still finds trees and the sea interesting since it only stared at the same ones for generations.

Even after becoming a Heroic Spirit, it is still attached to its duty. Talos considers it something sacred and forsaking it would make its past existence meaningless. Therefore, despite its endless curiosity for everything, its Master's safety is the giant's top priority. Despite wishing to be "something more than a tool", in a regular Holy Grail War it would readily accept death in order to ensure its summoner's safety. However, being betrayed and discarded like an object is a different matter.

It will not betray its Master under any circumstance, but if it's constantly assailed with statements such as "Servants are nothing but tools", it might start to display slightly rebellious behaviours. It won't let its Master be harmed, but it can't be helped if they land painfully on their butt as Talos pushes them out of harm's way.

    Indeed, just like a child.

    Relationships

Medea (Lily): "... don't you wish for revenge? Due to my cowardice, I befriended you and then betrayed you... why would you protect someone like me...?"
The young Medea didn't have the courage to slay the giant, so she wasted time and hesitated. She started to genuinely like the gods' construct, yet betrayed it. She forced cruel words out of her mouth to deceive herself. Meeting Talos again is a painful reminder of the deeds that led her to become a sly witch. The giant still wishes to talk to her and does not hate her, yet the shame is unbearable for her. Perhaps, with time and effort, those peaceful days the two spent conversing about trivial matters might be...

Medea: "... It seems you were summoned in a much smaller form. Ah, but at the same time, you've grown... Talos."
The older Medea, who has long accepted her life as one full of wrong turns, has spent enough time in regret. Still, that does not mean she believes herself worthy of forgiveness. Although she is a Witch of Betrayal, Medea will act softly around her brother and Talos, both of whom she never wished to harm. In Talos' case, she feels an odd sense of pride in how far it managed to become more "human". Just like a mother, though nobody would dare making that comparison.

Enkidu: "We are similar existences, you and I, yet... you consider yourself a weapon, but at the same time you don't? How odd..."
Both are Noble Phantasms crafted by the Gods and both developed a sense of self after interacting with a woman. For Enkidu, who sees themselves as a weapon first and foremost, Talos' wish for freedom as an "individual" is confusing. That aside, since the bronze giant is essentially a baby, Enkidu does not mind looking after it like a big brother. First of all, they must teach it how to harass a certain Goddess...

    Frankenstein: "Uuu...uuh? Mate...?... no..."
Although Talos is closer to Enkidu in origin and nature, Frankenstein is much more similar when it comes to composition due to both possessing a vessel full of machinery. However, while Frankenstein is formed of human body parts, Talos is completely made of metal, so the similarities end there. Frankenstein might initially consider it a possible "mate", but since she wishes to be a proper human, Talos is not an appropriate candidate.

Ozymandias: "I thought I sensed a fellow incarnation of the Sun, but it is merely a puppet of brass. What is this mockery?"
Dislike. However, if Talos were to develop its humanity some more, some form of acknowledgement might not be unreasonable.

Now I feel bad for my Europa sheet. This Talos is so good that reducing it to a 'mere' Noble Phantasm seems... Wrong.

It also has an effect which reduces special defensive values called 'purge defence' in proportion to the Divinity's Rank. It can break through Skills such as Protection of the Faith and Enlightenment of the Sacred Fig.

As a child of Poseidon, Saber would typically possess a higher rank but her monstrous blood from her mother, the Gorgon herself, has granted the skill a Rank Down in effectiveness. If is as effective as one who is ‘merely descended’ from gods rather than the direct offspring of them.

    Mystic Eyes: C

A Skill where one has possession of Mystic Eyes, capable of imparting magical effects upon a subject and interfering with the outside world. They can be said to be a "curse of the gods sealed by the powers of shrines."

Saber has inherited possession of Mystic Eyes of the highest level, 'Cybele' the Mystic Eyes of Petrification, albeit at a significantly reduced power. Unconditionally petrifies those with Rank E Mana or lower and even those with D Rank Mana can be petrified if they are negligent. Those with Rank C or higher won’t be petrified, but will sustain 'pressure' from the Eyes and receive one Rank-Down to all parameters. The entire body of the target will be affected, including clothing and weaponry, "killing them while alive" as they are turned to stone. The ability is viable in petrifying a group of enemies, but it would not be useful against significant number as it is not an ‘Anti-Army’ technique. The amount of energy it uses is comparable to also fighting them off with a Noble Phantasms, so it would quickly drain her faster than simply fighting them off in melee combat.

    Natural Body: B

The possession of a perfect body as a living being since birth. Being born through a ‘higher’ birth – springing from the neck of Medusa, Saber can temporarily rank up her STR. Furthermore, no matter how many calories she ingests, her body shape will not change.

    Sea of Life: D+

A skill that reflects the meaning of the phrase "the ocean is where all life is born", being born from the ocean and existing as something to create monsters. To adapt and survive. It confers the effects of Battle Continuation and Self Modification.

This is a digression but if Saber were to breed with another one has a chance to impregnate her partner or be impregnated regardless of otherwise compatibility. After intercourse, the pregnancy would come to fruition after a few hours with the offspring bearing mixed traits of both parents. The offspring would be more powerful depending on the partner in question. Although not as legendary as Pasiphae and the Minotaur, Saber impregnated a woman and sired a three-headed giant that was later killed by Heracles.

    Noble Phantasms

He Who Has a Golden Sword
    Chrysaor

    Type: Anti-Unit
    Rank: C
    Range: 1-3
    Maximum Targets: 1

The Noble Phantasm of Saber, also her namesake. It is not an item she gained during life but instead literally born with it forged with her body and magical energy. It is akin to Ichor, the golden blood of the Gods and is in truth, her own golden blood. She can focus the golden blood in her veins and possesses prehensile control over it, she can release it from her body and use it like a sword, manifest whip-like tendrils, forge armour or release it all from in the form of blades and spikes from her body.
When used in conjuncture with her Divine Monster skill, she is capable of manipulating her body to adapt to any situation.

    Shining Monstrous Boar
    Chrysó Theío Téras

    Type: Anti-Army (Self)
    Rank: B+
    Range: 0
    Maximum Targets: 1

A Noble Phantasm based on the accounts where Saber was not a human but a golden winged boar.

It is a cursed Noble Phantasm that grants the power of the Monstrous Beast to the user, becoming the ‘Monstrous Human’ and all her parameters rise with the exception of Luck. She gains the equivalent of A-rank Mad Enhancement, Mana Burst and other skills depending on the environment. During this brief period, she continually grows animalistic aspects out of her body whether it is wings, fangs, claws, scales etc due these conflated legends where she was a divine boar. Additionally what appears to be ‘Armour’ on her even in her passive state is just the way she has morphed her body mostly. The power is gained in exchange for losing her reason, and it can be possible to even become unable to discern friend from foe – making her akin to an out of control Berserker making it poor use for the traditional Holy Grail War.

An ability oddly similar to a certain Huntress of Arcadia where she taps into her latent potential as a monster that opposes humanity.

    Biography

Chrysaor translating to “He who has a golden sword", the twin of the winged horse Pegasus, was often depicted as a young human, sometimes a giant or ever a winged boar She was the child of Poseidon and the Gorgon. Chrysaor and Pegasus were born when Perseus chopped off the Gorgon's head and emerged from the stump when the blood mixed with the ocean. Gaining some fame as a hero, she later became the King of Iberia and married Callirrhoe, daughter of Oceanus, and fathered a three headed giant who was later killed by Heracles.

Inheriting traits of the monster and the divine, she had abilities that would aid her in threatening humanity (birthing monsters) and being a hero (becoming a king in her own right) however she did not have true potential to succeed in either. She wasn’t a monster and she wasn’t even really a particularly good hero, born mediocre she lived and died accordingly.

    Character

Unlike someone expected to be a hero, much of her life went unrecorded, as such, Chrysaor does not remember much about her life at all. However given her lineage she still feels she has much to live up to.

As a result she gives off a persona of a loud rambunctious, flirtatious confident warrior – everything expected that a ‘Hero’ of her time should be – and everything she isn’t. She’d much rather just sit in a corner and read a good book but feels as if she is compelled to be ‘greater’ and acts in a way she hates. She’s envious of other hero’s fame and glory but on the other hand she doesn’t actually like them and finds most utterly insufferable, finding refuge that she is nothing like them. Therefore she’s much like a nerdy child pretending to like sports such as football so her father won’t be ashamed to have her, according to her own perception.

Her mother however is another matter entirely. A goddess who was perfect and hunted for being perfect and became a monster to protect those she cared about and killed for it. It’s a tragic tale that makes her cry every time. She says she wants to be ‘The World’s Greatest Hero’ but in truth she just wants to see her mother. Apparently that’s too much to ask for though.

As a side note, although she keeps this side to herself, she can be incredibly lewd and really enjoys the physical act of love – her libido rivalling even the Eternal Lady of Ireland - though she prefers acts that she knows won’t end in pregnancy as offspring are Monstrous Beasts and come to term within days. Should she be forcibly summoned in the Berserker class, she could perhaps even rival the fearsome Pasiphaë.

    Relationships

    Medusa (Any form):
“I’ve only a faint recollection, but could it be? After all this time have I finally found you mother?!”

Actually meeting her Mother, despite it being her wish would send Chrysaor into a fit of tears or a panic attack. She never met her and heard great yet terrible things about her mother none the less. Despite the fact that Chrysaor was born from the monstrous aspect – Gorgon – she can only see the godly goodness of Medusa, telling her how happy she was to meet her after all this time. Regardless of the incarnation, she would hold a very pure affection towards her mother. Should they be forced to kill one another in the event of them both being summoned in the Holy Grail War… it would break her.

    Stheno and Euryale:
"You're... my aunts? Sorry but I don't see the resemblance."

Despite the familiar connection, they have little in common. The aunts are short and Chrysaor is tall. The aunts are cold and she can be warm, the aunts are Goddesses that are not compatible with humans yet Chrysaor is anything but. She doesn't feel the same connection to them as she does to her mother and doesn't feel much of a need too as to her; they're cold and self centred bullies. Chrysaor would only see Stheno and Euryale when it was absolutely needed like holidays and the like. Doesn't mean she has to like it though.

She questions 'Uncle' Asterios' taste but doesn't have the strength to say anything to his face, he's just too nice.

    Perseus:
“Hello there, my handsome brother. You’ve grown so big since I last saw you. No, not you frail man, I was speaking to the fine stead. Now get going before I stab you in the thorax.”

Perseus is the slayer of Medusa, so naturally she hates him. In fact, Chrysaor will even go as far to call him her “nemesis”. She will refuse to ally herself with him and despite the fact looking upon him face makes her stomach churn, she is willing to be in the same room as him without looking over her shoulder every second. However her brother Pegasus is with him so he can’t be all that bad.

    Heracles:
“…Don’t you have a few innocent civilians to mindlessly slaughter?”

Dislike. The famed hero killed her child; one doesn’t exactly get over that.

    Creators Notes:
Unorthodox and a bit dull in comparison admitedly but there's nothing on the character so I took what was already there, Nasu'd it up a bit and rolled with it. I also figured I'd post it now as I can't think of adding anything else without it ending up unwieldy Any suggestions are cool
