Poor Subaru. ...I mean Hyas. This is just a horror story for him while everyone is just looking at him like, "Is he okay?" It's like if Angra Mainyu's first summoning was one where he just kept coming back as a useless Servant to watch his master die. This Servant is just depressing. Good Job.

Also, can you maybe bring the size of the text up a notch. I literally have to get close to my screen and squint to make it out. Maybe that's the point, but please.

Okay. I can understand the thought process.

    Author's notes
Hello. Long time no see, ya'll.

It's me, embarrassed to even post a sheet after an influx of absolute bangers, one after another. But hey, allow me to slide in here my humble offering to this month's prompt. It's a Nasumix of bullshitery and creative exercise and a lot of parallel stories converged into a single individual, in a very predictable move of my part, but it's also a labor of love and it took me a long time to finish (I blame the few hours I could spend in front of a computer, lately)... So I can only hope that it'll be well received. I hope you all like it. I wish I had a lot to talk about this character, but as always I always think that it's just better to let the sheet speak for itself.

(Also, I refused adamantly to even go into Tsukihime or other TM works territory, despite the references that it could very well be that. I don't go there. I know I'm not knowledgeable enough to go there and get back safely. But if your mind wants to fill the blanks whoever the way it wants to fill them, you go my dude/girl. You're a free elf.)

Every child in his village had laughed at the lore passed down by their parents. A place forgotten by Gods and Demons alike from which no one returned. A silent cave undisturbed by mankind and inhabited by otherworldly creatures. And now a child was gone, swept away as if by some invisible hand, and the boy knew deep in his bones the saying to be true because he saw that happening right in front of his eyes.

The flesh-eaters took his friend away, and he decided to rescue her instead to run for the adults’ help.

There were sayings about them… Pale, dead eyes and a disturbing shape outed them as flesh-eaters. Victims could only watch, spellbound and revolted, as they were torn apart and consumed as if attacked by a pack of wolves. Fear, a feeling he was unused to until that day, felt like melting ore under the surface of his skin, feverish and hot—

—And yet a young boy stood under a sanguine moonlight, filled with the bravery that only a small lifetime of being fed stories about wonderful knights and beautiful heroes by the old lady at the yellow cottage right at the end of the road could grant. Adults were scared out of their wits and his other friends were sobbing quietly, but he was different.

    ——He would save her.

That child had decided this much.

Frozen in place, in front of a dark cave, as if an inviting, hellish womb, he couldn’t see anyone or anything he but could make out faint whispers from within. Their low harshness reminded him of lonely cemetery tombs. The youngster shivered, his bravery faltering for the briefest of moments.

“O Lord, protect me,” he whispered in a prayer. An ancient protection that only faith could provide; although in vain—but the boy didn’t know that yet. He prepared to enter that faux Hell, the stick of a tree in his hand—one that in his mind would make even the holiest sword pale in comparison. He crept up to the entrance and stepped in——

    ...

    ...

——He stepped into the darkness and froze.

A cacophony of voices spoke to him then in incomprehensive ways; a terrible, guttural sound screaming from the depths of his mind.

    ▂▂▃▃▅▅----▂▂▃▃▅▅■■■■——

The measly wood stick fell at his feet, as his eyes locked in the cave’s sole inhabitant...

A disaster set in stone just waiting for the victim to fall. An absurd and devilish curse that was openly declared but shadowed by the foreboding turbulence that a crimson night brought. A pair of eyes that always foretold everything that would happen, but yet very little that anyone could comprehend.

—Such was his life from then on.

    TARRARE
    — FOREIGNER OF CRIMSON HUNGER —

    Alignment: Chaotic Good
    Place of Origin: France

    Height: 143 cm | 4'6''
    Weight: 32 kg | 70,5 lbs

    Natural Enemy: "Flesh-Eaters"
    Attribute: Human
Traits: Child Servant, Humanoid, Servant, Male, Existence Outside the Domain, Threat to Humanity

    STRENGHT: D

    ENDURANCE: B

    AGILITY: D

    MANA: B

    LUCK: D

    NOBLE PHANTASM: B

    Lore
He could wrap his empty stomach around his waist like a belt, and began eating his bodyweight in meat every day as a preteen. His lips were nearly non-existent and his mouth was so wide it could hold 12 eggs at once. In other words, the story of Tarrare is the kind of horror story that started out innocently enough and snowballed into one of the creepiest, well-known chapters of French history.

And yet, his affliction remained a mystery for all eternity and so did his feelings...

He does not mind the logical explanation History managed to come with. To know that his parents kicked him out of the house when he was around 16 years old because they couldn’t afford to support his eating habits——well, that could be the truth, if they want to believe this. What good would come from telling that he was the one that decided to run away because he was scared of the crimson hunger that took his body since that fateful day? Would anyone believe him if he said that he heard whispers, and that his body longed to devour his own family?

—Oh, most definitely they would. But the boy decided to quietly allow the world to spin their tales, instead. He was oh-so used to a lifetime of not fighting back, since that night.

He hears with a newfound amusement the tales of how, without much choice or imagination, he resorted to the easiest way to make some money: to become a street performer in Paris. That is indeed the truth… He hears with a blank face how he downed just about anything for his act, including barrels of apples, corks, rocks, and even live animals… And that, too, is indeed the truth. That no one bothered to see what was so clearly wrong with him since it was a dog-eat-dog world and he seemed to be just another filthy human being out to make a buck——ahh, yes, that did happen as well. Life was a collection of lonely and scary days, where only the crimson whispers would make him company.

Days became weeks and weeks became months. Months passed by and transformed into years. And then happened the French War of the First Coalition. As a seemingly healthy male in search for the next meal, he enrolled in the Army, but what he found there was hell: the Army’s practice of rationing meals drove him even more mentally and physically ill. He was hospitalized under supervision, which is when the severity of his condition became apparent… But no one could hear the whispers but him. No one could understand the horror that permeated his every step but him. He was an alien stranded in a planet full of strangers—he was all alone, even when he was surrounded by humans.

He does remember how the field doctors were horrified to see him eat the bones and fur of a cat… He also remembers the tears that always fell from his eyes at these moments, the absolute terror of not wishing to do something and yet, watching his body move on its own. That was an old nightmare, one from which he never woke up since the day he stepped into a dark cave. But the generals, on the other hand, saw an opportunity on that filthy hunger…

The General Alexandre de Beauharnais gave Tarrare the task of swallowing documents in a small box to be delivered across Prussian enemy lines. But naturally, without any training, not knowing the local dialet and with such an obvious ailment, the young soldier was quickly pruned as a spy by the authorities; however, the worst torture of all was not the heavy beating that left his body in a sorry state, not lack of his huge food intake.

It was that… That one look. Just one look of pity from his torturers and he understood that all had been lost. Like the finest delicacy that could be only tasted once, he knew that it meant that he would never reach again that single moment of being understood as a human being with feelings of his own.

    He was so happy before…

A mission that only he could complete. A faith that could not be placed on anyone, but him. For the first time in his entire existence, he had been seen not as a freak of nature—rather, they addressed him as a fellow “human being.” For the first time, he was not a burden. He was necessary.

But there he was… Not just condemned to the humiliation of the failure—that was bearable. He was laughed at for his entire life. He was also condemned, yet again, to that torturous and alienating solitude, while now knowing that there was a small window of time where he wasn’t alone. And that was the scariest thing in the entire world, more than a scarlet moonlight in a dimly lit cave.

——In the silence of his prison, that night, he cried.

That, he too remembers all too well.

When he finally made it back to France after a humiliating parade, he was hospitalized again under an understandable and severe trauma that left him both incapable of continuing his military service and desperate to find a cure for his condition. After an entire life incapable of fighting against unseen forces that seemed to dictate his every move, he wished to finally give the act of struggle a try.

—A glimmer of hope that shone so brightly under the darkness of his eyes.

Laudanum opiates, wine vinegar, tobacco pills, and a diet of soft-boiled eggs were all employed, but Tarrare was still forced in the end to walk the streets fighting stray dogs for discarded slaughterhouse cuisine, drink the blood of patients who were being treated with bloodletting, and was even caught consuming cadavers from the hospital morgue multiple times... Each and every time, a silent despair grew stronger; an abject horror that matured inside of his heart——he would live like that for eternity. And he would die like that too. A defective human being incapable of mingling with the others; he was changed for the worst since that fateful night, and no matter how much he chased after normalcy, it was out of his reach. Eventually, even a toddler went missing from the hospital and Tarrare, the suspected culprit, was chased from the premises before disappearing into the city.

——From there on, what happened was a blur.

Or rather, he has no wish to disclose his lowest point in life. He merely allowed those crimson wires to move his limbs, closing his eyes as if someone too tired to fight against the undertow any longer, choosing to drown instead. His head full of strange whispers, his humanity drowned in a bottomless hunger. He roamed free, a beast unknown to mankind.

And then four years later, a doctor was contacted by a physician of Versailles hospital at the behest of a patient on their deathbed. Sure enough, it was Tarrare, now brought to death’s door by what he said to be a golden fork he had swallowed two years previously and was now lodged inside of him. Unfortunately for him, it was not a fork that was killing him, but end-stage tuberculosis. Within a month, he passed; all the mystery he represented died with him.

“His body, as soon as he was dead, became a prey to a horrible corruption,” said the opening lines of a paper published by this same doctor, decades later. But the truth was that he was afflicted by an accursed corruption that would follow his soul to the grave for much, much longer…

    Class Skills

    MAD ENHANCEMENT (FLESH): A+

His mind is not consumed by madness in the slightest, a testament to the resilience of his spirit.

However, rather than “unwittingly” participating in the atrocities his body forced him to commit, he is but an “involuntary” accessory of his own horror. Trapped in his own body, from which he cannot escape not even as a Servant, he observes it moving on its own, unable to stop what he knows it comes next.

ENTITY OF THE OUTER REALM: E

A Skill denoting a being that descended from the void of outer space.

Rather than housing a portent of a god’s power, his body is “observed” and even “guided” by the unseen forces residing somewhere at the Farthest Ends, the extreme point at the exact opposite position of the Outer Universe. Perhaps because of that, even his eyes are also a “window” and an “invitation” to the abyss, just like he was invited once to taste true horror under a crimson moonlight, in a dimly lit cave...

    Personal Skills

    SHINING ANAMNESIS: B

An unyielding and strong will that shines brightly like a star amidst the dark night of his existence.

No matter how long the humiliation of living as a hostage of his own mortal flesh went on, he persevered—no matter how low he had to sink just to survive, he never gave up——as he gobbled down garbage and his pride, nevertheless, hope was always there.

A strong will that became a protective Skill capable of providing resistance against mental (and even physical) damage by means of sheer “refusal to give up”. Armed with an unparalleled inner fortitude, very few mental attacks aimed to confuse or dull the senses can penetrate his unshakeable faith; in the same vein, no matter how tattered his body might become, he will never stop struggling. Furthermore, even those precious moments where Foreigner is in complete control of his body are surely all thanks to the strength granted by this Skill as well...

    GOLDEN FORK: A

A fork that was never found; a missing newborn babe.

“Strange” occurrences followed Foreigner no matter where he went, but such was the “will” of the creatures of an otherworldly plane—whimsical and unexplainable.

His body, a mere plaything of higher entities, houses a space too small and too easily accessible to be considered “another dimension.” Just like the children that entered a cave to never be seen again, what he consumes is stored somewhere “out there,” in a small and secluded self-contained world inside of his body. Stories of parallel dimensions that comes in contact with humankind are not strange: the Bermuda Triangle and the lost kingdom of Atlantis could be considered similar phenomena——it could be said that the only difference is that now, as a Servant, he has the means and the knowledge to pull out whatever he once consumed, at will.

BLESSINGS FROM THE FARTHEST ENDS (CONSUMMATION): A
Look, whether his origin is the consummation, he will have been a predator in his previous lives. When your origin awake you get all your previous lives. You should consider
    Lio Shiraizumi
    that boy
as a group of beasts rather than as a human being.

His earthly flesh even now is cursed with bottomless greed. For “them,” existences far too removed from the laws of Mankind to care, their “hunger” for a particular material substance might have been unbearable. In another legend, to be handpicked by creatures from another realm would surely mean that a human being would become a mighty hero; perhaps even a benevolent king with a promised holy sword. In reality, what came from that was——

A greed that demands sacrifices and ignores mortal laws, claiming everything for themselves and embracing all as something worthy of assimilating. Foreigner understands the heavy burden of going against his own “humanity,” but he cannot stop himself. His body ceased to be his own for a long time, just another thing embraced by the blessings from an incomprehensible place. But what exactly “he” and “them” are searching for by consuming all that is on their sight? Surely, is something still much, much distant from their reach…

    SELF-TRANSFORMATION: B

An exceptional existence that “will evolve from now on.”

A body that has yet to reach the “prime” of his legend, surely, but this is a body that aims to shed away the corruption of his story to return to simpler times——to a time where his body was small, but his courage was tall.

By his own design, he is a Servant that will become evil if expected to be evil; he is a Servant that will become good if expected to be good. His future might not be a bright one, but just like the sight of a light at the end of a crimson tunnel, he holds very dearly on the possibility that things can still change, even now...

    Noble Phantasm
Stars, hide your splendor. Night, define and defy. A dream of a long time dreamed in the darkness and nurtured in the chaos... Boundless desire ready to rise... Come, the hundred roots, drink an offering of blood in maddening silence.

BEYOND THE DARKNESS, WHERE NO LIGHT SHINES AGAIN
    VU LAN SEELEN

    Type: Anti-Army
    Range: 100m~200m
    Max. number of targets: ???

The blessings from a crimson moon to all the humans of this world in the shape of a huge feast of living souls. By using Foreigner’s body as a “point of start,” this Noble Phantasm calls forth a massive space that can be compared to a Reality Marble to temporarily anchor the otherworldly creatures residing in a different dimension from “this one.”

In Asian cultures, to reverence and properly mourn even the lower spirits is a common thing. During festivals, it is common to offer food to the souls of ancestors and unknown individual alike for their further blessings. In the same vein, it can be said that by offering “everything that is alive” inside of this twisted space of worship, Foreigner gathers with the use of a different sort of prayer their alien blessings in the same way. A shower of positive status is then conceded to his body for every and each soul consumed, allowing him to finally understand what it means “to be full.”

Such is a Noble Phantasm that absolutely depends on the existence of sentient, human life around this Servant. And since even the Master can be offered as a sacrifice should they do not pay attention, it is at the same time an extremely dangerous double-edged sword.

    Extra Content

    Personality
Easily infatuated with the small things and has a need to see everything for himself. His eyes are wide and hopeful like the ones of a child—he tries to stay positive and overall has a very mellow and soft personality. However, stored in such a small body is an immense contempt towards himself... After all, the memories of his adult life are following him in this diminutive body, and he judges himself very severely for failing to uphold his own sense of moral——and his own hope. He knows he failed to stop the crimson hunger to take over his body, and he never expected differently, but he is very disappointed on himself that it managed to eat away his soul as well. That’s why he tries very, very hard to be a different person this time, even if afflicted by the same evil all over again.

His strong-will and otherwise normal behavior hides a deep sense of embarrassment. He doesn’t like to be the center of any sort of attention, positive or not, despite have worked as a showman once upon a time in his previous life… Maybe that is a reflex from a life never knowing what to do with being seen. He hates how he is remembered by the Human History, although he also understands that there was no other way for people to assimilate what he represented; he’d always be a “monster” to them.

The Grail is not a concern for this Servant, not by a long shot. Sometimes, not even the battle is of any of his concern. After a life of living under the shadow of something else, his priorities are quite sorted out by now.

“A wish, you ask? I’d only wish to be ‘forsaken by the World,’ so it’s wasteful… I’m sure you’ll have a much more heartfelt desire,” he’d say if he had the bravery to do so. But since to even admit that he is still giving up even when he vowed to not do so is so embarrassing, he merely smiles; he merely fights; he merely hides his weak human self under the limitless possibilities of a second chance, albeit one granted for a filthy soul like himself.

He longs not to be a hero—that much is impossible and life already teaches him this much everyday—but merely to make himself proud this time, despite having to live even as a Servant with the same curse of a crimson night inside of a dimly lit cave, the curse that is stuck to his soul and tattooed on his very karma. If his Master, this human being that summoned him and yet didn’t threw him away like garbage after knowing who he truly was, can feel at least a small amount of pride for the Servant he is, then there’s nothing else he wishes out of this new life...

    Relationships
    GILLES DE RAIS
Small you… Pitiful you... The world would never allow sleeping dogs to lie—but we still fight. And we still dream. Nightmares, after all, they are also dreams seen from another perspective.

    ARTHURIA PENDRAGON
    (ANY CLASS)
Are you afflicted by the curse of the crimson whispers as well? —Oh, I thought… With this appetite…

    EMIYA
He asked me, “What I’d like to eat?” and I had no answer to give. Embarrassingly, I noticed that I’d never thought about that before… I only ate because I had to, not because I wished to. So I asked instead, “What do you want to cook for me?” and it was the first time someone looked at me like that. So softly. I… Felt happy.

    TAMAMO NO MAE
Recently, thanks to a distinguished lady of pointy ears, I am learning that Japanese cuisine is a marvelous thing... Don’t you think, Master? I liked the way eels slid down my throat because it didn’t hurt me that much to swallow them… But I feel like fish is much tastier now. With a drop of shouyu, I think I can learn to love that.

    SEI SHONAGON
A strange girl asked me how I’d describe myself… And it left me speechless. It made me think. When I was alive, all that I thought was about eating—I wanted to feel whole again, a piece of me lost forever to that crimson night. But now that I have all the time in the world to think about what I am, I can’t come to any conclusion. If you could... Care to help me, somehow? I want to properly answer her, next time.

    JEANNE D’ARC
I was taught that God loves us all equally… And yet, sometimes I look at bright souls like that girl and I am left wondering why I think that’s a bunch of crap. ——Haha, pardon my language, Master. Don’t mind me, really.

    Craft Essence

I can still see you, in the distance. Under a sunlight that prickled the skin, caressed by a laughter that had the sound of bells.

Your face is a blur and the scenery is an indistinct mess of bright colors.

Your name is already lost to me like a piece of burnt paper. I can scarcely remember my own.

But I can still see you, I swear.

Even when my body has long forgotten what it is to hear that laughter of yours that sounded like bells, my soul still remembers the warmth of the sun on those innocent day—it was gold and expansive, it was warm like your fingers.

    —I know I failed you… I know I couldn’t save you when they took you away…

But can you still remember how we laughed and played?

Can you still remember how we were both once alive and happy?

——Wherever part of me you are now, consumed by the whispers that followed me ever since like so many others before and after you, can you still remember what I was once?

    I can’t.

    Author's notes (yet again)
I said I had nothing else to say... WELL, I LIED.

So, I hate the idea of going into this prompt with a Foreigner. It's already a brainded option to use this dude, I didn't wanted to double down on the braindead Class too. But alas, there was really no better class this time than THIS one. I hate myself. So I hope you guys can forgive my sin of being completely unoriginal in some aspects. I tried to omit the name of any outer god (is that even important? I didn't thought so, not in this particular sheet) although I left some clues here and there... (There's this Lovecraft short story, there's this hungry spirit in Hinduism, there's a bunch of things happening all at once)... And if you want to consider this a job from another thing that's not even an outer god (hence why I mentioned other TM works in my beggining notes), hey that's also totally legit. This is not a story that needs an explanation to why it happened. I think the true horror of it it's just it happened. The end. He died without answers and you'll die without them too.

ANYWAY, now I'm really done here. Seriously, thank you so so much if you read everything until here. You're the best!

WhiteFrenzy, you usually render me speechless, but this.. I don't see why there's such a stigma around Foreigners in this contest-- They're one of my favourite classes. Yes, maybe they're a little unoriginal... if you only copypaste the formula of "X historical figure meets Y Great Old One, whimsical times ensue" while adding minimal original content and flavour. But this... this isn't even CLOSE to being that bland. I'd seen Berserker and Assassin Tarrares before and those would both fit this contest easily, but you didn't just 'make another Foreigner', you took something ALREADY horrifying and ADDED to that with a dash of cosmic horror. This right here is what Foreigners SHOULD be, and everyone who thinks they're overrated should be taking notes right now. This just shot RIGHT to the top of my favourites... for this contest or just 'of all time', even I couldn't say. Utterly, utterly awestruck.

    Skills

    Class Skills
Existence Outside the Domain E- (???) Class skill associated with Foreigners. Denotes a being that descended from the void of outer space or exists stringently outside of the human order. However, due to the unique existence of Dec’s history and insanity, the very nature of this skill is brought into question.
Madness Enhancement A A class skill usually attributed to Berserker’s. However, due to Foreigner’s innate insanity, he has earned this skill. Yet, he lacks the typical attribute boosts seen of this class skill. While one is generally still able to communicate with him, his ability to seemingly conclude or understand anything not in relation to his “delusion” is rendered obsolete.

    Personal Skills
Mind of the Tethered C This skill allows Foreigner to get brief insights into the thoughts of individuals (or rather briefly skim the outer layer of the consciousness of those around him) but this requires him to be “perfectly still”, allowing him to avoid any potential danger with enough forewarning but makes it so that he is at risk all the same.
Innocent Monster B A skill possessed by Servants whose true history and existence have been distorted by the monstrous reputations and gossips they accrued across the course of their life and thereafter, without concern for the actual person's will or appearance. Francis E. Dec’s life both during and after has been attributed to his persecutory and paranoid rants over the nature of the world around him and history has deemed him as someone who’s insanity is “something to be made fun of and not taken seriously” and exploitation of Dec that came about as a result of his life. An image society only tends to remember him as without taking heed to his message hidden with the madness and only as the insanity-riddled man as he seemed to be.
Delusions of the Last Human E~A++ A skill unique to Foreigner. A passive and always active skill that allows Foreigner to actively degrade the insanity of “non-humans” in his general vicinity. This effect starts off small in the beginning. Perhaps the feeling of being watched or feeling followed by unknowable forces. Then the voices began to whisper inside your head, as you become increasingly paranoid of both your surroundings and those around you. The voices get louder, you begin to see things that aren’t there, you begin to distrust those around you. Fear grips you as you realize that being outside simply isn’t safe in more. You isolate yourself as your mind begins to break down from the constant exposure and the auditory and visual hallucinations worsen as visions of a bleak future haunts you, taunts you…

    delusions
One’s mind, unable to handle the fierce assault of madness, begins to falter under the oppressive weight of this “reality”.

Until the mind itself becomes nothing more.

Only those deemed as a “true human” or rather, one not under the control of the “Computer God” seemed to be immune to this skill. In the eyes of Foreigner, he is the only human left free of the sinister Computer God's control and all others are merely a puppet for said ‘evil god’ to make use of. Therefore, all humans and even Servants are in direct danger from this skill, given long enough exposure. This skills directly attacks and corrodes the minds of those associated with the “Human Order” or, in short, it makes it so that those exposed to this skill not only develop a psyche that goes against the standard human mentality and propels them into a “abnormal way of thinking” but those exposed and not able to endure corrosion are left in a vegetable state.

A human shaped puppet with no thoughts or will of their own. In Dec’s mind, this is him simply freeing the masses from their tether to the Computer God, that it had maliciously planted within every human and was sending the thoughts and

    moon cell
sensations experienced by humans to the ‘Brain Bank’ on the Moon controlled by the Computer God, and their paranoid and eventual comatose state simply them “getting used to be being free once more”. An innocent and benevolent thought one could say, if not for the fact this act resulted in the exact opposite result.

Servants with high levels of Magic Resistance can withstand this mental assault but even they will too begin to come under the effects of this skill given enough time. In conjunction with his Noble Phantasm, this skill becomes even more disturbing as it is able to spread to those outside of his general vicinity with those “infected” with this thought virus able to pass it on to the unsuspecting masses.

    Secret Containment Policy

    Noble Phantasm
Foreigner’s Noble Phantasm, which is a true crystallization of Francis E. Dec’s crusade to combat the Computer God and its influence on reality. This allows Foreigner to “cancel out” the influences, blessing, technologies or even curses of the malicious deity. Or rather, it allows Dec to neutralize Servants or individuals that have a divine, supernatural or technological background. After all, all foreign deities seen in myths and technologies used predominantly by the masses are merely “aspects or Avatars” of the Computer God itself, therefore giving him the ability to affect them as a crusader in the war to free humanity and “contain” them. Servants with the ‘evil’ attribute have their parameters further decreased.

However, this Noble Phantasm can not be used with the significant use of magical energy or without Command Seal as it is likely that Foreigner wouldn't be able to be sent into a battlefield to use it in the first place without very convincing persuasion on the part of a Master. Another weakness of this Noble Phantasm is that it’s duration is extremely short and is not long lasting like his passive skill, meaning that a very physically abled servant with an innate high magic resistance able to resist both his NP and passive skill for a time or one from long distance can put an end to Foreigner with relative ease.

Foreigner’s Noble Phantasm represents his final plans in freeing humanity and saving the ‘universe’ from the evil of the so-called “Gangster communist Computer God”. This represents his 26 manuscripts pinned by Dec in life. To awaken the mind of the masses and for them to observe the grand conspiracy taking place right before their very eyes.

This Noble Phantasm can only be used in congruence with his passive skill, which allows for him to expand its range and allows for it to become “contagious”, passing outside of his initial limited range, affecting person to person. A thought virus in every sense of the word. And by its nature it spreads at the same efficacy and virility of any contagious virus. Spreading by distance, contact, communication, through technological means, all unknowingly by those who are infected. In Dec’s eyes, this is him finally freeing humanity and fighting back against the Computer God. But from an outsider’s perspective, this can only be seen as a wide scale attack on humanity and the Human Order itself. Turning humanity into a similar mental state as that of Foreigner in life before succumbing to a vegetative state, free of all thoughts.

    vessels
A salvation in the sense of the word and the perfect state to allow all of humanity become 'free'.

However, this is perhaps not even Dec’s true Noble Phantasm but has been “hijacked” in some way to further the goals of a malicious force. Whether it is born of his own mind or an outside force used to perpetuate its own agendas is unknown.

    Character

    Biography/History
Francis E. Dec was an American lawyer and outsider writer who was best known for his typewritten diatribes that he independently mailed and published from the late 1960s onward. His works are characterized by highly accusatory and vulgar attacks against groups of people and conglomerates under the control of a vague force known as the "Mad Deadly Worldwide Communist Gangster Computer God" or Computer God for short, who had humanity under it’s complete control and only he was capable of combating it and it’s malicious assassins sent after him in an effort to silence and halt his mission from saving humanity. Henceforth living as recluse and mass-mailing wild, paranoid typewriter-keyed rants around the country and world, living in fear as a target “individual”.
Indeed, Dec’s crusade against this malicious God is something truly worthy of being deemed as a cause worth fighting for.

If the Computer God was real that is.

In reality, the Computer God that Dec viewed as his enemy was nothing more than the delusions of a tragic figure struggling with extreme paranoid, delusionary schizophrenia. Unable to escape from this reality he had orchestrated for himself, and deemed himself as the “only human” left free of this illusion’s control when it was in fact he who wasn’t truly in control the entire time.

A man afflicted by the disease of the mind, writing the experiences of his own reality he was trapped in.

A mental illness so strongly manifested that it ravaged the mind to the point that Dec would slowly but surely become more and more isolated from the very humanity he wanted to save with his own mind. An illness so strong that it might as well, had become “reality”. Oftentimes, it is the most mundane horrors that afflict humans that often inspire fear the most.

    The loss of one’s mind.

The fear of not knowing what is what.

The fear of being trapped in one’s own mind can inspire true terror, especially when one doesn’t even realize it themselves.

This is the sad and horrible existence that is Francis E. Dec, the Last Human.

…However, several questions begin to surface.

In particular, why has Francis E. Dec been summoned? A servant of Dec’s stature shouldn’t be capable of being summoned outside of being a Phantom and yet, he has manifested completely as a servant, albeit a physically weak one. For what purpose is he here?

Dec would answer, “to save humanity” however his existence itself proves contrary to that very statement.

For what reason would the Counter Force or Master manifest such a servant who’s very threat would serve as an existential threat to humanity, if left unchecked? Unless it wasn’t the Counter Force.
    outer god?
Perhaps, Dec’s mental state has truly created an enemy for him to battle against in the form of the “Computer God”?

Or perhaps, there is a more sinister intent from an outside force behind his summoning. A possibility that this so-called Computer God is no mere delusion but is something far more malicious; set on bringing “salvation” to humanity by any means necessary. After all, while his rants were indeed insane, they held grains of truth to them relevant to the modern day as his writing speaks to a feature of technical delusions that became increasingly prominent in the second half of the twentieth century with the further advent of technology and his writings most certainly warned of this. Dec's screeds are emblematic in their careening, amplified panic over imperious yet chimerical powers that seemingly are everywhere all the time and yet can never be fully confronted or understood.

If this is the case, who’s to say that the Computer God isn’t real?

Perhaps merely hiding it’s true form…?

    -------

    Personality/Character
A man, full of potential lost to his madness. However, one can have a conversation with him to find him to be a rather intelligent, albeit paranoid individual who often goes on tangents, making his insanity all the more tragic and horrific in retrospect. Though the only way to have a conversation with him would prove dangerous to that person as coming into his range could prove costly in the long run. Especially if one were to “fall into his delusion”. Though a Master may very well be immune to this as Dec may view them as another ally who freed themselves of control of the Computer God, thus viewing the Master as a “true human” like himself

However, in spite of his mental illness, Francis E. Dec, while he may have been seen as propaganda and plans from the Computer God that haunted his mind, he managed to inspire and entertain others by creating something worth reading, appreciating and worth remembering for decades to come while in battle with his mind itself. A feat worthy of praise and in of itself.

Authors Note on this Incredibly Mundane sheet

This is my first time actually doing the Monthly servant sheet challenge so when I found out that the pretty broad theme was going to "horror" I wanted to do something the expressed what I like to call "mundane horrors" or horrors that we and those around us have to deal with eventually in our lives and ones that are common enough to be perceived as mundane but still terrifying in concept. In that regard, I chose to go with mental illness or the 'terror of the mind'. Now this sheet isn't a dig at those with mental illness mind you but personally find the idea of your mind wasting away and actively working against to be one of the most terrifying things a human can go through. The mind is what makes us who we are and for it not only go away but to actively hinder and destroy you? That's some existential dread if I ever heard it and things like Alzheimer's and schizophrenia signify that for me and yet I still wanted to show that people can still be brilliant in their own way despite that. The 2nd form of horror is in relation to how the servant itself functions and expands on the first.

If you read the sheet, I used the term "thought virus" or i.e a "logic virus" and if you every played Halo or know any of it's lore you can realize how terrifying that is in concept and one that I hopefully managed to get across in the sheet. Mr. Dec here is basically a walking talking "thought virus" and he doesn't even realize it and actively believes he's doing good in some capacity, which is scary in of itself and that is on top of the man being trapped within his own mind. As for the Foreigner class selection, I personally always liked the class but it being limited to merely being connected to an Outer God to be rather limiting ( I know we got servants like MHXX and Voyager but still) and my definition of Foreigner has always been something that is inherently antithetical or outside the 'Human Order' itself not merely in relation to an Outer God even if that counts under that definition. So I made Francis condition is rather vague. Is the 'Computer God' merely a self constructed delusion on Francis's part or is it actually some Outer entity manipulating him behind the scenes in some respect or hell maybe a bit of both? Who knows. I'm a bit self conscious posting this given all the high quality sheets already here but screw it.

As to why I chose Francis E. Dec? Well, he was different for one thing and I had saw a documentary on him this week actually and as I was watching I was like, "I can make a servant based on that". And I'll admit Dec and his rant is admittedly hilarious and yet poetic and very sad as well when you learn the deeper context and really illustrates how scary mental illness in my eyes can be. And while I generally had this idea knocking around in my head for the past week, I basically did this sheet in one sitting. No beta, we die like (wo)man.

Tarrare: Dang, good work as always, WhiteFrenzy! His skillsets are interesting (though I didn't catch as much Nasu references there as you said, maybe cuz' I'm kind of a noob myself on deeper Nasuverse lore), but what I like most of all is his character, you did an amazing job characterizing him as both terrifying and tragic. Overall, "braindead" as it may be, this is definitely an impressive take on the guy.

Why is it some of the best sheets so far haven't scared, but instead have made me very sad?

TARRARE: "So, I hate the idea of going into this prompt with a Foreigner." Should I be offended by this because I did? *he asks, worriedly and a bit hurt*
This one just breaks my heart. You did a wonderful job on the detail and story to bring this character to life. I just want this little boy to be freed of the "horror"ible situation he's found himself in. As a Servant, he's extremely unique, though I have to say that I'm not the biggest fan of his NP. Something about just doesn't feel right to me, but I can't put my finger on what. All in all, I give this Servant a "How could you play with my emotions like this?" out of a "I have been completely emotionally shattered."
(Genuinely, I think I need to some time to recuperate, especially since I legitimately just listened to the Song of Saya Soundtrack before reading this and had it playing through my head the entire time.)

Francis E. Dec: Everything's out to get you! It's all a conspiracy by the thought form entity!
Haha... Now we move on to the sadness of a mentally ill person inflicting it upon others just by his mere presence. A powerful but easily killed Servant. Truly, a form befitting a poor man just lost in his own paranoia. Please, no one summon this poor soul. Let him have the rest that could only be given to him by death.

Update/Addendum: I'm now in a better place mentally. WhiteFrenzy, while it doesn't matter in the scheme of things, Caster has a dialogue for Foreigner. Probably will be the last dialogue added, as far as I can see.

    Tarrare:
Faceclaim: Awesome (who is he? OG from an artist?)
    Storytelling: Awesome
    Character and Interactions: Awesome
Problem: except the faceclaims, the CE and the NP, all pictures do not work for me for some reason. and did you perhaps forget to add a picture for Self-Transformation?

the concept is interesting as well. I have no real knowledge about Tsukihime lore, I know Vampires and Crimson Moon are connected, so I guess he is connected to some vampire entities?
Or it is a bigbrain connection to someone I dont know. I've heard of Tarrare when I started investigating Foreigners last year and found his name on reddit for I think Tsathoggua, who embodies the aspect of Sloth or something, far cry from what you made of him.

    Francis E. Dec:
I was waiting for a mental illness servant. I read the first lines and was like "wtf did i just read?", but good work.
His Delusions skill, i almost think this skill is Loss of Sanity/ Mass Hysteria from Abigail, because it sounds like the situation of the witch hunt. So perhaps he just has another rank than her?
And while reading i really waited to hear he is "Tick Tock Man" related. You left it vague if he really is connected to something else, but if, I think that avatar of Nyarlathotep would fit perfectly.

And stop worrying about using Foreigner Classes, folks. We all create our sheets of selfish reasons to show our creativity and love for this franchise to the small creative ecosystem that is this forum.
When you start influencing your sheets for some elitist group that disregards any sheet just because the container is not to their liking, you sold your passion for invisible brownie points to people who dont care enough to critique your work anyway. "Foreigners are overdone and overhyped" because when the class was new, unclear and vague, people blindly slapped some entity they read somewhere into their sheet and called it a day. The concept became a creative inspiration, while ignorance from the blooming days stayed. The class is still open for interpretation and is what you make out of it. Use it as you like and not like some others like you to.

OH MY GOD??? You guys, thank you so much I'm overwhelmed by the support ya'll gave to me I don't even know what to say. Seriously thank you so much! ;__; Also in hindsight, I was just kinda scared and very self-conscious to post a Foreigner in such a classic prompt like 'Horror' because I thought it was just so... Common, I dunno if that's even the right the word, but you know what? After a good night of sleep I'm a new person and I only have to say to Yesterday Me, "fuck that" EMBRACE YOUR FOREIGNERS, PEOPLE.

@ Areop-Enap: Oh man to infer that it might have something to do with the Tcho-Tcho people is a crazy good idea, actually... (Let's pretend it was totally my goal to make it sound like they could be the culprits as well and I totally remembered them as I was making this sheet.)

@ realcasually: Oh wow I wish I could be more articulate but word of warning, you might stumble onto me just babbling 'thank you thank you thank you thank you' ad eternum here... But really, thank you (hah) so much! ;-; I'm very glad I could do something good with your idea (and it's thanks to your brains that came up with a good monthly theme, take that achievement! It's so good to see so many people positively inspired by the prompt) and that it even became a favorite in your eyes? AM I EVEN WORTHY OF THAT?? I dunno, but I'll try to not blush at the compliments at least.......
(Also yeahhh I get you, I get you so much on that. Unfortunately I was guilty of using a Foreigner in the same way you described once, but personal growth is the mother of Good Servant Sheets so I can feel that I put that shameful past to sleep now hahaha. THANKS AGAIN)

@ BnEl15: Honored to know that this little dude catched your atention, Bn! Thank you so much. I did saw a lot of renditions from him but since I didn't just want to do the same, this was the closest thing to a "simultaneously a different but the same individual" thing I could come up with. It's so relieving to know it sticks the landing... ;-; (And don't worry we're on the same boat, I barely know the surface of Nasu lore outside of what Fate feeds us with and that's exactly what I utilized... If someone more knowledgeable on other works comes in and tells me it's a bunch of crap and I should be ashamed I'd just nod and agree hahaha.)

@ Morg van Destro: I'M BLUSHING and also listening to song of saya too now I DON'T THINK I'LL EVER FORGET THIS COMMENT ONE DAY??? Thank you thank you so much! And also: NO, you shouldn't be embarrassed or hurt in your feelings by your Foreigners or your "easy-way-out" choices. They've all became great sheets as well. That was Sleep-Deprived-And-Nervous-At-Posting-A-Servant-After-So-Many-Good-Sheets Me talking and she's a dum-dum that knows nothing of the world. Foreigners are amazing. They all should be loved. PERIOD.
BUT SERIOUSLY. WOW. I don't even know what to do with all this praise, thank you so much for that. I'm super glad that this kid could touch you somewhere in your feelings, it was very heartwarming to know that... And indeed he surely needs a break from life, maybe a nice and nonsensical event to just have fun hahaha. (ALSO fair. I admit that the Noble Phantasm was the part where all my creative juice was gone and I had no idea what to do... I just knew I didn't wanted another "he's hungry, boys" like his skills were already saying. It would be too one-note - and that was simply the best thing I could come up with... Clearly not enough, I admit, but OH WELL.) Anyway, I'm super honored that you liked him, seriously! Thanks a lot!

@ DelRey: PREACH. FOREIGNERS ARE SO GOOD. (Unfortunately they are easy to misunderstand and not everyone can do something good or even original out of them, but still, one of my favorite classes.)
Also, the fact you liked my boy? Wow, I'm speechless. Thank you so much! I'm glad he could be classified as "awesome" in your books, that's such a honor. His faceclaim is a character from Identity V (Aesop, I think it's his name?... And it's also a great game, there's a mobile and a pc version I totes recommend it if you don't know) AND ALSO, I'm on this problem you noticed with the broken links (in a computer they show just fine but in a cellphone they're all broken indeed... Frick me I'll have to fix that asap.)

P.S.: LADY AND DELREY TOO I'll properly read and comment on your awesome servants very soon! But from what I could gather though, they're already s o g o o d. I was just focusing on pouring my love over these amazing people first, I hope you understand hahaha.

A warm thanks to all the positive remarks about Famine!

You'll be pleased to know that I intend on making every sheet have such an approach, unless the Servant calls for a break from style; that would truly be a momentous occasion.

Now it's my turn to offer appraisal of the sheets thus far.

Franz Kafka: Starting the month's competition strong, I see. A well-written, markedly qualitative sheet that shan't be ignored. I particularly like his Delusion Trigger and Der Process. These two things jive very well with my personal ideas of what horror, at its core, truly is. Thus and hence, rejoice, boy.

Dom Frollo: First, a congratulations is in order, for not succumbing to the easy and obvious path of a Disney-related Innocent Monstering of the older original text. It's rare to see Noble Phantasms that are incomplete in the vein of Golem Keter Malkuth, so that was a very refreshing sight.

Enepsigos: Certainly not something I expected to see here. An interesting read, I'll say. I can certainly sympathize with a Divine Spirit Servant who has become vengeful after the dominance of the Judeo-Christian faith. And, as my sweet Kirschtaria always said,
"Ritsuka, if one Divine Spirit is good, two is better. And three? Well, that's just good business!"

Mr Eats-your-brains: I'd have personally gone for the Berserker route, but I can definitely understand Foreigner here too. I have to wonder, might you have been trying to draw some connections with Daybit Sem Void's Servant, with the statements about consumption of life? Because if so, this Daybit stan has no choice- no choice at all! but to say Awooga.

Helicopter Slasher: Holey Halifax, Batman! That's a backstory and a half. Things you love to see: the existing Type Moon organizations getting involved in a backstory.
Therefore, it can be asserted that this Servant is it.

Ha-Satan: Yeah, I have to agree that it's a stretch of a sheet for this prompt, but hey, no worries on that! The sheet's a bit simple, but it's nice to see a Satan sheet that takes what he actually is biblically - the Tester or the Accuser - and goes down that path.

Black Rider: My god man, how could you write such a perfect and flawless sheet?
I'm kidding of course, I'm not going to appraise my own sheet like this. Or am I?

Hassan: A unique way to take on a Hassan-related Servant, for sure. As expected of you, a well-written beginning, and the quality doesn't drop through the sheet.

Shapur II: You certainly go all-in for your sheets, don't you? Especially those Noble Phantasms, my! Another Thing you like to see: Fortress-type Noble Phantasm rep. Them's the rules, I make 'em, I enforce 'em. Like Satan, I'm not fully sure about fitting into the theme, but it's a broad enough theme that I can't reasonably make complaints about it, you've provided a fair rationale.

Hyas & The Hyades: I've said it before, I'll say it again. I see a Machine God-related sheet, I upvote. Anyway, more broadly, I really never get enough of your works. They're always a joy to read, and even being a "quick one" doesn't diminish that. That Noble Phantasm would be an outrageous effect in any Holy Grail War, and even Herakles might blush at it.
    This too is Kino.

TARRARE: Your images almost all seem broken, as others noted. Anyway, what RC said is right; you've taken the ideals of the Foreigner class to heart and made something that cannot be stated as anything other than a quality Servant; choosing the Foreigner class was incredibly appropriate here, and let none tell you otherwise! Not even yourself. If you do, I'll know.

Frank: Mental Illness cannot be understated to be a horror. And you've captured that faithfully; he's lost in his own mind, hopelessly trapped in "that other world". Tying it into the 'Simulations' and computing metaphors in Olympus' explanations of the Alien God-- a brilliant idea. I can't understate that enough.

Unrelated note, but I might see if I can get out a second Servant for this contest. I promised that I would only allow myself a Foreigner for this prompt after Black Rider, so I think I'll go with that. Time to put on my little physics nerd hat and honk my NNNNNNN-shaped clown horn.

Allow me to introduce myself as someone who has spent way to long studying the Fate Wiki, interviews, and any reference I could find. You were making references to Type Moon, right? Big old ancestor of True Ancestors? That's the way it seemed to me, but I could be off on that. Also, I like the inclusion of Lio, as I don't think people really consider The Garden of Sinners (I use the English name for most things) when writing sheets or when thinking of Fate in general. It's usually tertiary right after Tsukihime in most people's minds, so it's nice to see it getting a bit of recognition. That's basically all I saw, but I may have missed some stuff.

I wasn't. However, I may now have a new man crush. Leather jacket sweater-vest combo is something I was not anticipating, but it somehow works.

    Cold Spot

Localized coldness. A sudden decrease in ambient temperature for no apparent reason. Although there are no definitive evidence supporting it, in modern times this phenomenon is regarded as an indication of paranormal activity, a telltale sign of the presence of ghosts and the likes…

…still, upon feeling the abnormally cold aura surrounding this man, one cannot help but think that there is some truth behind those claims.

    Twelve Apostles

Also called the Twelve Disciples. The epithet by which the foremost pupils of the Son of God are usually known by. Each and every single one of them is recognized as a holy man in his own right, holding a special position even among the many Christian saints. Also, despite the name, there are diverging theories about their exact numbers and specific line-up.

Those selected by the Son of God to become the firsts to receive his teachings. Later, they were charged to act as his harbingers, spreading his message across the towns of Galilee. After his death and resurrection, they were further commissioned to preach the Gospel to all nations of the world.

Incidentally, the Apostles supposedly received many blessings (gifts) from the Son of God in order to better fulfill those tasks. Although the nature of those blessings differs among many sources, most common examples are the power to heal wounds and diseases and the authority to exorcise demons.

    CLASS SKILLS

    Revenger: A+
Received damage is converted into magical energy for the Noble Phantasm. The way of being as a revenger – which gathers people's grudges and malice onto oneself – turned into a skill. While it becomes easy for the surrounding people to point their hostility towards him, those negative emotions automatically turn into power for Avenger.

    Oblivion Modifier: A
Humans are creatures that forget many things, but a revenger will never forget. By attacking when the opponent has completely forgotten about him, the damage of Avenger's critical hits is increased.

    Self-Recovery (Prana): D
Magical power continues to endlessly surge until his revenge has been accomplished. Recovers prana at every turn, even if by minuscule amounts.

    if an Assassin

    Presence Concealment: D
The technical skill to suppress one's presence as a Servant. In short, it is something like erasing one’s presence by thoroughly restraining the emission of prana coming from the Servant – who is a mass of prana. D Rank denotes proficiency suitable for covert operations, but is still at a level in which another Servant can immediately infer his presence.

    PERSONAL SKILLS

    Familiars (Evil Spirits): EX
Can employ wraiths・vengeful ghosts as familiars. This is possible just by sending out his thoughts, without the need of a contract.

The last remains of his privileges as an Apostle. Upon becoming an anti-hero, his authority to exorcise demons and evil spirits was converted into an ability to command them instead. Since this is derived from a blessing (gift) of a higher existence, it can be employed even towards those that rank higher than him.

    Paradidomi Kataphileo: A
Also called “kiss of betrayal”. The anecdotes of his ultimate act of treachery sublimated into a skill. According to legends, when an armed mob came to arrest the Son of God, Yehudah identified him by means of a kiss. Despite being endowed with the Authority to save humanity, the Son of God was powerless to prevent the events that followed.

A powerful weakening ability. Not only it forcibly revokes・seals away any divine protections that the touched target might have, it also prevents him from being granted any further blessings. In a sense, this is the power to turn a hero into a mere mortal (human).

    Protection of the Faith: C
A skill possessed only by those who sacrificed themselves for a religious view. Despite being called a divine protection, there are no blessings from a supreme being. There is only the absoluteness of one’s mind・body that is born from faith. Induces abnormalities on the personality if its rank is too high.

    Saint: - (A+)
Indicates someone who has been formally acknowledged as a saint. As one of the Twelve Apostles, he should originally possess the highest rank in this skill. However, his infamy as a traitor caused it to be sealed away.

    Unskillful Scheming: B
Considering his role in the downfall of the Son of God, one can objectively say that he has a talent for machinations・treachery. However, he is also prone of making critical oversights that ultimately cause his efforts to be ruined.

    NOBLE PHANTASM

Canto Judecca – Hell-Frost of the Lowest Levels
    Rank: B
    Type: Anti-Army
The trump card of the anti-hero Yehudah. His power to employ evil spirits taken to its logical conclusion. The wraiths・vengeful ghosts under his command join forces to plunder all forms of “vitality” (life force, heat energy, etc.) within range – the ultimate act of energy drain. The spot that has been utterly ravaged in this manner becomes a silent, cold place in which death reigns supreme.

This is a digression, but according to Dante’s Inferno (Book 1 of the Divine Comedy), Judas was thrown in the deepest layer of hell after death – which is reserved to only the vilest of traitors. Said deepest layer was a place of absolute stillness, where all inmates were frozen solid in eternal suffering. Ironically, this Noble Phantasm produces a scenery that is falsely similar to that.

Haqel Dama – Land of the Damned
    Rank: A++
    Type: Anti-World
Wasteland of fresh blood. The anecdotes regarding Yehudah’s final moments sublimated as a Noble Phantasm. Also, the embodiment of the dearest wish that he holds on to even now.

A suicide attack towards the world itself. In exchange of making his spiritual core to go critical, causing his Saint Graph to explode, his remaining magical energy will turn into a curse that purges anything that might be regarded as a “blessing” for humans from the land that he stands. Soil fertility and the likes is a matter of course, but it also perverts the boons of civilization, cultural resources and even metaphysical things such as Thaumaturgical Foundations. Incidentally, both the capacity and the effective range of this Noble Phantasm increase in proportion to the amount of prana he has left in the moment that he disappears.

    Background

    BACKGROUND

Yehudah Ish-Kerayot. Better known by the Greek rendition of his name – Judas Iscariot. A disciple of the Son of God, originally counted as one of the Twelve Apostles. Also, one of the most infamous traitors in human history.

Although the many sources on the subject often provide diverging reports about the Twelve Apostles, Yehudah is a rare exception. His character is attested by all the canonical gospels, and most of the apocryphal texts also recognize his existence. That being said, precise details about his person are few in number as expected. Popular theories say that he was born in Kriyot (a city in the south of Judea) as the son of a man called Simon, but there is no definite proof to support them. It is also unknown when and how he joined the Son of God’s congregation, and one could even say that he simply found himself among them all of a sudden (or maybe, was already there from the beginning...). Incidentally, it seems that he performed the duties of a treasurer in the congregation.

The only thing certain about Yehudah is his most infamous deed – the betrayal of the Son of God. According to legends, the patriarchs (Sanhedrin) of Israel were displeased with the Son of God’s growing popularity and sought for an excuse to arrest him. Yehudah provided said excuse by revealing that the Son of God had secretly identified himself as the prophesied messiah, which was deemed a heresy at the time. Later, when armed soldiers under the orders of the patriarchs appeared to take the Son of God into custody, Yehudah singled him out in a crowd of people and delivered him to be arrested.

What happened next goes without saying. The Son of God was put on trial for heresy, deemed guilty and condemned to death. It has been said that, after the crucifixion, Yehudah was plagued with remorse and ended up taking his own life. Supposedly, the place where his dead body fell became a cursed land in which no life could grow and constantly rejected the presence of humans.

    Traitor to his Lord

Although Yehudah’s betrayal is an undeniable fact, the reasons behind his actions cannot be so easily pointed out. One theory says that he was bribed by the patriarchs, while another defended that he was a radical who wished to overthrow the Romans and eventually became disillusioned with the Son of God and his moderate policies. There are even anecdotes of Yehudah’s being possessed by a devil and betraying his master due to its influence…

This work regards that none of those theories are true. In fact, it assumes that Yehudah was once just like the other Apostles – a simple man that was moved by the Son of God’s teachings and decided to follow him out of sincere devotion. The only thing that truly set him apart from the others was the fact that his faith never reached the point of becoming a blind one.

No matter how devoted he attempted to be, the man called Yehudah Ish-Kerayot remained a pragmatic to the very end. As such, he couldn’t help but look at the Son of God and the circumstances surrounding him in an objective manner. And that lead him to become increasingly concerned about the friction that was forming between his master and the rest of society at the time.

The Son of God was a herald of changing times. However, change is rarely accepted without resistance, and there was much resistance going around back then. Figures of authority such as the patriarchs and the Romans were a matter of course, but even the common people were not very receptive of the Son of God and his teachings. In general, those willing to join his congregation were few and far in between.

As he watched the events unfold, Yehudah had a troubling premonition: even if his words were successfully spread among all the people, the ultimate fate of the Son of God was most likely be a gruesome one.

That is no good,” he thought. “Even if it is for the sake of human salvation, his death is simply too great of a sacrifice”.

Yehudah’s actions thereafter were nothing but efforts to avoid that worst possible outcome. Even his final betrayal was something done while having the Son of God’s best interests in mind. Simply put, it was supposed to be little more than a defamation scam: by delivering him to the authorities so that he could be put on trial as a human, Yehudah hoped to destroy the image of the “messiah” that had been built around him and consequentially make him seem less of a threat to the people at large. While undoubtedly a betrayal that would ruin all the efforts of the Son of God up to that point, at least his life would be spared in the end.

Or so it should have been.

Unfortunately, Yehudah made two miscalculations. First, he underestimated how great was the divide between his master and the rest of society. Second, he failed to realize that the Son of God was aware of his intentions and willingly played along in order to fulfill his own role. As a result, Yehudah ended up playing a role in the very tragedy that he was trying to avoid.

After death, Yehudah was branded as one of the vilest traitors in human history. However, in time his betrayal became regarded as a necessary evil to lay one of the foundations of the human salvation brought about by the Son of God. As such, he too was recognized as an anti-hero that unintentionally saves people.

That being said, the hatred that he bears towards humanity earns him the qualifications for the Avenger-Class. Said hatred is not due to being denounced as a traitor even though he had nothing but the best of intentions in mind, but an indignation towards the very fact that humanity continues to live in sin despite having already received salvation from the Son of God. In Yehudah’s eyes, humans are not worthy of being saved, so he makes denying any sort of human salvation as his raison d’être. Despite being sublimated into a Heroic Spirit, his way of being is no different from a vengeful ghost that remains attached to this world due to a past grudge and brings nothing but suffering and misfortune to the living.

Yehudah Ish-Kerayot: Alexander Anderson would approve. That is the greatest compliment I could ever give this sheet. Great job.

Yehudah: I find it interesting that we each went for rather similar ideas on this guy, where he not only betrayed Jesus in an attempt to "save" him but also hates humanity for profiting off the "savior's" sacrifice. Overall a very good sheet. Some great imagery in his Canto Judecca NP and Paradidomi Kataphileo is a clever twist on the "kiss of betrayal" ability pretty much every Judas sheet has in some form.

Yehudah Ish-Kerayot (Judas Iscariot) :I like this pragmatic Judus who got ironically, due to his pragmatism failed to realize or rather, underestimate how humans are at the end of the day. The good, the bad and ugly.

    “Damn it! Damn it all!”

A man restlessly paces around and around. His appearance has long since been rendered unkempt by the elements. His clothing is covered in dirt and other forest debris, his a hair mess of unbrushed strands while his pants possessed an uncomfortable level of tears and holes. His face was bruised, cuts adorned his body and a bandage meant to cover a bullet wound could be seen on his shoulder. The expensive cuffs of his suit had disappeared and even his favorite tie which his wife had gotten for him last Christmas must have seemingly come undone and vanished. Vanished into the maw of darkness.

The man finally collapsed to the ground in exhaustion. His mindless raging quieted down, and finally, he could listen to the forest's nighttime sounds. He breathed quietly but nothing broke the veil of silence. Nothing would. Not anymore. It was lifeless, not even an insect could be found. The forest had been rendered lifeless and yet for once in his life he wished he could say he felt alone.

“Where is it! Where is my Miracle! Everything….. It’s gone! Was it not enough! My dedication!”

He pathetically crawled forward across the dirt, looking for the strength to stand. Cars litter the forest, cast to the side like empty cans. By grabbing a door handle of a van he could finally force himself upwards. With a wobble he stood up. He returned to his mindless pacing almost instantly. He circled and circled around, like a boat caught in a whirlpool. The center of his orbit laid an overwhelming presence. It called to him. Called like it had for over a month.

A massive pit rested ominously at the center of the forest. It called to him. It sought his assistance. The pit gripped his feeble mind. The pit was everything. All things pulled to its center. It was 30 feet wide and when one looked down into it a bottom could never be seen, only darkness. No matter what was tossed into it a sound could never be heard. Only silence. The pit never said a thing, but it spoke to him in ways no words could ever hope to.

What was the point of walking? There was nothing left. He knew no one else. There was nothing left for him now yet the pit didn’t say anything.

“What else do you want from me! I gave you everything.”

There was still nothing. The emptiness stretched on for too long. He wanted to weep, but before tears could be shed the deathly silence that plagued him, that rested so heavily on his shoulders, was finally broken.

It was static. Static of a car across the way. The door was left haphazardly open, keys still in the ignition. It’s radio had suddenly sprung to life. It answered. It called him. With heavy steps, with the last of the strength he could muster, he limped to the car. He could feel exhaustion slowly start to possess him, but no matter the agony. He must reach it, he must realize his fate.

With a tired push he throws himself through the open door. The static of the radio buzzed on. It drilled into his mind for seemingly minutes on end, filling his stomach with anticipation.

Suddenly there was a spark, and then music played.

The pit called to him once more.

    Alignment: Chaotic Evil
    Place of Origin: Greece

    Strength: -
    Endurance: -
    Agility: -
    Mana: EX
    Luck: -
    NP: A

    Lore
The Charybdis is a daughter of Poseidon cursed and chained to the bottom of the ocean by Zeus after helping her father flood the land. The sea monster Charybdis was believed to live under a small rock on one side of a narrow channel. Opposite her was Scylla, another sea monster, that lived inside a much larger rock. The sides of the strait were within an arrow-shot of each other, and sailors attempting to avoid one of them would come in reach of the other. Three times a day, Charybdis swallowed a huge amount of water, before belching it back out again, creating large whirlpools capable of dragging a ship underwater. Odysseus faced both Charybdis and Scylla while rowing through a narrow channel. He ordered his men to avoid Charybdis, thus forcing them to pass near Scylla, which resulted in the deaths of six of his men. Later, stranded on a raft, Odysseus was swept back through the strait and passed near Charybdis. His raft was sucked into her maw, but he survived by clinging to a fig tree growing on a rock over her lair. On the next outflow of water, when his raft was expelled, Odysseus recovered it and paddled away safely.

Charybdis’s imprisonment has come in the form of the massive pit in which she resides. It serves as a massive drain which helps suck in water to her which she can swallow. Her form is a mix of the flesh and machine, her once human form has since been combined with what was essentially a garbage disposal of the Olympians. To meld with it her legs have vanished and massive, terrible mess of mouths, metal, flippers and other extraneous limbs.

    Personality
If there was ever a word to describe Charybdis, it would be gluttonous. It’s a monster cursed to constantly drink from the sea, and devours everything near it from men to sea life. While originally a curse, and sometimes painful, for so long devouring everything was all she could do and thus she ended up developing something of a twisted love for the task.

Without the ability to speak it is difficult for Berserker to communicate, even without the downsides of mad enhancement, and with no visible physical form facial expressions and body language is off the table. Still, Charybdis has found one way to express herself. Due to her Olympian heritage she possesses some influence over electronics and can manipulate them to project certain ideas.

Charybdis possesses something of a nasty sadistic streak and despite the madness proved herself to be terribly manipulative. While some may assume this is a side effect of being turned into a monster, it would be hard to say this wasn’t also true beforehand.

    Likes: Food, Water
    Dislikes: Hunger, Zeus
    Talent: Drinking
    Natural Enemy: Odysseus

    Class Skills
    Mad Enhancement (B)
The Class Skill that characterizes a Berserker, raising basic parameters and strengthens one's physical abilities in exchange of hindering mental capacities and/or in exchange for their sense of reason. In some cases, it also affects and/or seals away some techniques, Personal Skills and Noble Phantasms.

After years of living as a monster, forever isolated from the world beyond just destruction, her sanity has dissipated. Any normality she may have once possessed have instead been replaced with an insatiable gluttony.

    Personal Skills
    The Pit Calls (A)
Berserker is a vortex into which all that approaches flow towards its center. This skill gives Berserker something of a conceptual gravity in which the physical and spiritual alike are forcefully sucked into its waiting maw. It's powerful to possess a hypnotic effect in which its hapless victims are compelled to approach the pit.
As a stationary hole in the ground, this skill serves as Berserker's main way to interact with the world. Such a fate is a curse, to only be capable of effecting this world through pure, destructive gluttony.

    Emergency Eject (A)
Berserker's stomach is a bottomless pit, an endless hole, but not all that enters will be doomed to never see the light of day again. Serving as Berserkers most powerful offensive weapon besides their Noble Phantasm, this skill allows for Berserker to violently eject the endless contents of her stomach cavity. Due to the sheer amount of matter that makes up her stomach contents the massive torrent can prove to be incredibly destructive.
Her main form of attack however comes in the form of water due to the use of a blessing she possesses as a result of being Poseidon's daughter. If she so chooses Berserker can cause widespread destruction due to massive flooding, which was the original purpose of the blessing.

    Demonic Mutation (C)
A Skill that denotes how a hero or god was transformed into a demon in life. A Skill that considerably strengthens one's abilities as a Servant by emphasizing a fact from the past.
As punishment for stealing land from Zeus, Berserker was transformed into a terrible monster that was imprisoned on the seafloor and cursed with an insatiable thirst. As a part of this curse she sets out to consume anything with water in it, including humans, which give her notable vampiric qualities.
This skill has granted Berserker incredibly high mana so they may be able to continue their insane gluttony for eternity.

    Noble Phantasm
    Gluttonous Whirlpool
    Charybdis Event Horizon

    Type: Anti-Army
    Rank: A

This Noble Phantasm serves as the embodiment of Charybdis as a terrible, monstrous whirlpool which plagued the Strait of Messina and threatened to swallow the very ocean itself. By activating this ability Charybdis will create a massive suction force which pulls everything towards it with incredible force. Trees will be plucked from the ground like weeds and the steel of buildings bend like putty until they too are all pulled into the blackness of the pit. Compared to the casual gravity this monster normally possesses, it’s like upgrading from a sink drain to a black hole.
Everything absorbed into Charybdis’ stomach, an infinite imaginary space. Due to its curse, its main purpose is to store water, and thus everything else is pushed towards a
    Event Horizon
    digestive zone
in which all matter is condensed and absorbed. Even if you were to somehow survive being devoured, you would be pulled towards this part of her stomach where you would meet your demise.

While it serves as a powerful attack, it is also her most vulnerable moment as she must properly reveal herself from her prison to pull off the attack. Oftentimes, a brave hero must risk diving into the belly of the beast in order to have a chance at successfully slaying her.

    Craft Essence
What difference does the bottom of the ocean make?
What difference is there between now and then?
From the day I was born, I was always chained to the purpose the Gods set for me.
Be it flooding the Earth, or draining the sea, what difference does it make?
Why should I dream about the days before, there was never anything there for me.

I don't know if I have the strength to be free?
I don't know if I have the right?
    What difference does it make?
I shall forever hunger, forever thirst, forever, in isolation.

The darkness of this heart is all I've even known.
You ask for what I truly want.
I don't need to be free, but I know what I want to see.

    There's static of the radio.
The static continues on, and then suddenly...
    A song.

Charybdis: The call of the Void personified. A classic of horror. A servant more akin to a natural disaster in how it acts, just more malicious. Makes me wonder if she might initially swallow her master whole when summoned, considering they're likely to be close by the summoning circle without enough time to move. I actually remembered a less evil version from a while back, but they both are meant to accomplish different things. Pretty good sheet. Let's drop a magic bomb down her throat and call it a day.

Charybdis: Best girl has finally shown up to take the number one spot. She takes it all and she takes it deep~

Jokes aside, I think to the Greeks, aside from an angry Poseidon, Charybdis represents in my eyes, the vastness and terror of the sea. Thalassophobia manifested into a myth that is relevant to this day. Watch any actual documentary on the ocean and look at it objectively and as beautiful as it can be, the ocean is fucking scary and there's a damn good reason we know more about the Moon then our own oceans.
