Class Skill
Magic Resistance (B): Grants protection against magical effects. Differently from the Resistance effect that merely rejects prana, this ability cancels the spells altogether. This rank cancel spells with a chant below three verses. Even if targeted by High-Thaumaturgy and Greater Rituals, it is difficult for them to be affected.
Personal Skills
Divinity (X/E-): The measure of whether one has Divine Spirit aptitude or not. At high levels one is treated as a mixed race of a Divine Spirit, and the level declines when the Heroic Spirit's own rank as a Monster raises. It can also decrease due one's dislike for the gods. It also has an effect which reduces special defensive values called "purge defense" in proportion to the Divinity's Rank. It can break through Skills such as Protection of the Faith and Enlightenment of the Sacred Fig. Though originally a Titan - a primordial god - Lancer’s divinity was stripped away as part of his punishment, and as such this skill is sealed so long as he wears his chains.
Eye of the Mind (False) (EX): A natural talent to avoid danger on the basis of an innate 6th sense, intuition, or prescience, where accuracy of instinct has been augmented by experience -- somewhat overcoming the problem of visual obstructions that appear in the course of combat. Lancer has the highest possible rank in this skill due to his ability to plan ahead and calculate the risks and rewards of any given situation – his very name itself means ‘forethought’ alluding to both his prudence and the cunning that allowed him to fool Zeus not once, but twice. In addition, this ability grants an effect of offering resistance against penalties caused by visual obstructions.
Golem (B): The ability to construct familiars out of mud and clay. Similar to, but distinct from, the Item Construction skill possessed by Caster class Servants. Lancer possesses this skill as it is said he created the first humans from earth in Classical mythology. Due to him now lacking the power to imbue them with true life, Lancer’s ‘children’ are shapeless mud creatures that cannot think for themselves and can only follow his directions. They have no real powers other than their enhanced strength, but they are capable of gradual regeneration.
Restructuring (C): The ability to automatically recover from damage, as well as quickened wound healing. Lancer possesses this skill due to the aspect of his legend that involved an eagle tearing out his liver each and every day, only for him to regrow it so it can be torn out again. Over the course of a day, Lancer’s wounds will heal and he can regrow missing body parts. Though effective, this skill consumes a vast amount of prana.
Noble Phantasms
Tartaros Chain – Prison of the Primordial God (Anti-God, C): The chains that bound Prometheus to rock on which he was imprisoned, and which are still wrapped around his body, though he is capable of calling on the chains to bind other things alongside him. Though called a chain, it can take the form of any binding material, such as cloth or a ribbon. Anything touched and bound by the chain will have any and all divine aspects suppressed, such as blessings or weapons granted by gods, or simply their own innate divinity. The chains cannot be escaped, but it is possible to break them, though only a hero with incredible strength will be able to. It is possible the chains are related to the Chain of Heaven from Mesopotamian myths, and the ribbon Gleipnir from Norse myths, which were both used to restrain divine beasts.
Mecone Spark - Theft of the Burning Brand (Anti-Army, A): The representation of the divine fire that Prometheus stole from the gods for the benefit of mankind, a long spear shaft with a spearhead made from bright flame. It is no ordinary fire, being godly in origin, in some myths even being the fire of the Sun, and as such any attempt to extinguish it will only cause it to burn hotter. By calling out its name and brandishing it aloft, Prometheus can cause fire to rain from the heavens. Despite its fearsome power, the sight of the flames will fill ally and enemy alike with courage and hope.
