IIRC Erice was calling Chaldea suspicious as hell because they had so many Servants and relied on them to fight their battles instead of letting the past rest in peace (similar to her thoughts on the tournament in Requiem). She also dislikes mages in general because her only experience with them is her grandma, so she was projecting some of that onto Guda too. Some people took a depressed, angry teenager's words too personally.

Would Meteo pull a Sanda, though, as in writing a new scenario when he's currently busy with LB7? If the speculation is true, that is. He might not add anything new, so hopefully the delay won't be that long.

As for new Servant, my money is on Lucius since he would make some interesting convos with other Roman Servants, and Percival as the spear's wielder as well as about Kundry.

Aside from the "main character" not being a character at all and therefore boring to me and a bit of a waste this is one of the reasons I hate these sort of characters, that are supposed to represent the player. I've got quite a few grievances with this topic, but I digress. I'm really dislike how other characters get hate just for being rude/cold/distrusting of the "sorta self insert" characters.

For every 5 that nonsensically sings your praises, one should call you out for being worthless just to keep you grounded. But we know what would happen to those jpg in a gacha community.

I look it up, and you're right, it's Myougaya Jinroku. So my earlier assumption is moot, and anything could happen. But gotta wonder if Meteo is still involved somehow with creating the Servants' profiles.

I'm sure Meteo still wrote the profiles and probably came up with the event concept, Requiem's his series after all.

Myougaya wrote it. And most of the controversy came from people who didn’t know Erice’s character being shocked when she unsurprisingly insulted Fujimaru. Think of the reaction Kadoc got back in LB1.

More relevantly here, due to her spending so many years as the only person in the city without a Servant, she’s one of the rare people in her setting still treating the concept of Heroic Spirits with the proper level of worship and mystique. She laments the banalization of Servants and is particularly spiteful of Masters who threat as tools.

So when she meets a mage office with 200+ under its command, she naturally has no good faith interpretation for it. And then when she learns Fujimaru is just a guy, she changes her tune to “you’re a blind pawn dancing to evil mage’s tune”. Which sounds true enough for me.
