    Servant Archer:

    True Name: Squanto

    Alignment: Neutral Good

    Alternate Classes: Lancer

    Strength- C (B)
    Agility- B (A)
    Endurance- D
    Mana- C
    Luck- D (C)
    NP- A+

    Appearance:

Equipment: A finely carved wooden longbow as well as a brown sackcloth containing about ten or so fishheads. The bow is not a Noble Phantasm, although it is still a very well made and sturdy bow which she can even use to parry attacks in a pinch. Also carries a native hunting dagger which she uses for close combat.

Personality: Just and honorable, caring deeply for her native people and for the wellbeing of the natural world. She is respectful even to her opponents, although she greatly enjoys the thrill of a good fight. However she has a burning hatred for the man known as Christopher Columbus for what he did to her people, and if summoned in the Grail War alongside him she will put defeating him as her highest priority, even more so than the Grail itself. While intrigued and fascinated by the modern world and its various wonders, she dislikes the way it makes people isolated from each other. Her wish on the Holy Grail would be to return America to the natives and undo the effects of colonization.

    Likes: natural world, her people
    Dislikes: colonization, greed
    Talents: hunting, agriculture
    Natural Enemy: Christopher Columbus

    Class Skills:

Independant Action (C)- The ability to remain in existence without recieving prana from one's Master. Although once sold into slavery, she bought her freedom with the help of a spanish priest. At this rank, Archer is capable of lasting up to a day without an established contract.

Magic Resistance (B)- Can cancel spells with incantation of three verses or less. Due to native America being one of the last holdovers from the Age Of Gods, Archer naturally has a high proficiency in this Skill for a comparitively modern Heroic Spirit.

    Personal Skills:

Instinct (A)- A honed "sixth sense" that allows one to "feel" appropriate developments during battle. At this rank, the Skill is now closer to true precognition. Reduces by half any obstacles to vision or hearing.

Nature's Protection (B)- A Skill similiar in nature to the Protection Of The Faeries. A blessing of the nature spirits bestowed to one who fights to protect the natural world. In battle, allows Archer to temporarily boost her Luck and Agility stats by one rank. Can only be used in an area where nature still dominates, as opposed to urban areas.

Natural Body (C)- Possession of a perfect human body from birth. Due to this Skill, Archer's Strength stat is treated as always being Rank-Up.

Animal Dialogue (A+)- Ability to communicate with animals that don't possess a "language of words". At an A+ rank in this Skill. Archer is able to easily give commands and communicate to most animals, even including Phantasmal Beasts and most Divine Beasts. As Native America was still part of the Age Of Gods, such creatures wondered the earth to intermingle freely with humans, and even 'mundane' animals were deified at the level of Divine Beasts. However, creatures of the Dragon-Kind are beyond the scope of this ability.

    Noble Phantasms:

Planting Of The Maize- Sacred Fertilization Method (B, Support): In the story of Thanksgiving, it was said that Squanto taught the American pilgrims how to fertilize corn with fishheads, allowing them to survive the cold winters. A kindness that was repayed with blood. Representing this event, Archer has a stock of fishheads with her which, when one of them is thrown down into the ground an explosive amount of prana is suddenly released, spurring extremely accelerated growth of plantlife. She can produce choking grasses to restrict the opponent's feet, whip-like vines to attack with and even entire trees to use as barriers or for an impromptu escape. Archer has about ten or so of these fishheads stored in a brown sackcloth, and they cannot be reused. Once all of them have been expended, this Noble Phantasm is rendered unavailable.

As blessings of nature, these invaluable treasures are not to be thrown away carelessly.

Tisquantum- Wrath Of God Upon Rapacious Humanity (A+, Anti-Purge): Archer's strongest Noble Phantasm deriving from her true name of Tisquantum, a title anointing one as a vessel of divine wrath and guardian of the natural world. The wrath of Nature itself, called forth against any who could carelessly defile it. Nocking an arrow into her longbow, Archer charges it with light and prana, rendering it into a psuedo-Divine Construct before releasing it as a powerfully piercing beam of concentrated light. The arrow embodies the Counter Force to inflict greater damage depending on the harm the opponent has caused to the natural world.

If she were to be summoned under the Lancer class, this Noble Phantasm would likely take the form of a spear.

While this is a digression, the name "Tisquantum" itself was said to have derived from a native Wampanoag word meaning "Rage", in particular the "world-suffusing spiritual power" lying at the heart of coastal natives spiritual practices. Rather then the name she was born with, it was most likely given to her as a title at some point to symbolize her great spiritual power.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So I've finally gotten around to doing that Squanto sheet I've been talking about. She was basically designed to be the perfect arch-enemy for Columbus, even down to her Class. For her Squanto Tisquantum NP I pretty much shamelessly took the idea from Enkidu's version of Enuma Elish, specifically the part about embodying the Counter Force and doing damage proportional to the threat the target poses to nature. I thought it would fit Squanto though, considering the whole "defender of nature" thing I decided on for her. Honestly when I came up with that concept I thought, "That is literally the perfect Noble Phantasm for her". This is also the first appearance of an Equipment section in one of my Servant sheets, considering I figured that it made more sense then just subsuming everything under Appearance.

I'm also aware that she's rather powerful for a relatively modern Servant, with generally high stats and powerful personal Skills but that's because in my headcanon, native America due to it's isolation from the rest of the world stayed in the Age Of Gods for a lot longer than everywhere else. So in native America the air was thicker with prana, Phantasmal Beasts roamed around freely and even "ordinary" animals qualified as Divine Beasts. Columbus, by conquering America didn't just mistreat the natives he also basically destroyed the last refuge from the Age Of Gods. I know, what a jerk right?

    Servant Shielder:

    True Name: Joshua Norton

    Alignment: Lawful Good

    Alternate Classes: Caster, Ruler

    Strength- C
    Agility- C
    Endurance- D
    Mana- B
    Luck- C++
    NP- B+

Appearance: Shielder appears as a boyish youth of slight stature, with short mussy brown hair and hazelnut eyes. He wears an elaborate uniform consisting of a navy blue suit with gold plated epaulettes with a thick brown belt around his waist, matching blue pants and a cap decorated with a a peacock's feather and rosette.

Equipment: An ornamental saber which he keeps at his left side in a navy blue scabbard. The sword is not a Noble Phantasm, nor is it especially durable. He also has large, decorated blue and gold worn cross over the back of his right forearm which is his most potent Noble Phantasm, Lord's Prayer.

Personality: Magnanimous and oftentimes grandiose, Shielder's presence and mannerisms contrast rather bluntly with his own rather lacking appearance and stature. His height is rather a sore spot for him, and bringing it up is one of the few things that will anger the young self-proclaimed Emperor. Shielder is someone who truly believes in his heart that he is the Emperor of the United States, and he will let nothing sway him of this conviction. He cares not for the Holy Grail, saying that as the true Emperor he has no special desires in need of fulfillment. He is compassionate, and cares deeply for anyone he considers his subjects (basically, everyone in the USA and maybe elsewhere depending on circumstance). Although a fake emperor, he was unquestionably loved by his subjects and several of his "proclamations" were actually fulfilled years after his death.

Likes: his subjects, twin dogs Bummer and Lazarus
Dislikes: tyranny, the word "Frisco", comments about his height
    Hobby: dining at restaurants

    Class Skills:

Magic Resistance (C)- can negate spells with an incantation of less than two verses. As a Hero from well after the Age Of Gods, his rank in this Skill is solely the result of his Class Container.

Riding (D)- At this rank, the Servant is capable of handling a few different kinds of animals and small vehicles (i.e. motorcycles, electric scooters) with some level of skill.

    Personal Skills:

Imperial Privilege (B)- an ability to obtain Skills beyond the Servant's normal capacity, due to sheer insistence and force of will. With this, Shielder can temporarily grant himself the Skills Charisma, Golden Rule, Animal Dialogue (only with his dogs), Guardian Knight and Military Tactics.

Evaporation Of Sanity (D)- Carelessly chatters about own team's weaknesses and True Names, forgetful of important things, etc. A kind of extreme curse. This skill also serves as "Instinct." During battle one is able to, to some extent, feel the optimal course of action.

    Noble Phantasms:

    Bummer And Lazarus
    - The Twin Hounds Of The Emperor (C, Support): Two stray dogs that roamed the streets of San Francisco during the early 1890s. Although never truly owned by Norton in life, they nontheless become strongly associated with him due to the influence of a certain caricaturist. Shielder can summon the hounds, which qualify as mid-ranked Phantasmal Beasts especially adept at hunting and tracking down enemy familiars. Shielder values these two dogs deeply and will be greatly angered and saddened if they're killed.

    Lord's Prayer
    - The Shield Of Faith (B+, Anti-Purge): During the 1860s and 1870s, there were occassional anti-chinese riots in the poorer areas of San Francisco, sometimes even resulting in fatalities. During one such incident, Norton allegedly interposed himself between the rioters and their intended target. With a bowed head, he recited the Lord's Prayer until the riot dispersed without further violence. That event crystallizes into Shielder's most potent Noble Phantasm, a large decorated blue and gold cross about the size of a shortsword which he keeps attached to the back of his right forearm (think Makoto Nanaya's tonfas from Blazblue). Upon activation, a powerful defensive barrier is projected from it consisting of a shimmering disc of navy blue light. The disc is normally big enough to just about cover Shielder's forearm, although it can expand in size under the proper conditions. As it embodies the concept of "An Emperor protecting his subjects", this Noble Phantasm's true worth is only shown if it's used to defend those other than Shielder himself. When this happens the barrier will grow in size as much as needed to encompass the targets (up to fifteen people) and a great deal of destructive power will be required in order to break through it (even more if it's boosted with the Guardian Knight personal skill). Additionally, if any of the people being protected are of oriental ancestry, the Noble Phantasm aquires a plus modifier. As it is effectively a blunt object, the barrier can also be used offensively to bash or ram opponents, although it is obviously less effective for that purpose.

This thread seems to become a bit inactive in the past day or two so here I come with another Servant sheet! Making him a shota was a bit of a stretch I admit, but I guess you could always handwave and say that it represents his youthful personality or something similar (like with Andersen from Extra). Just be glad its not a genderbend LOL! Fun fact- I originally envisioned this guy as Rider but I scrapped that because A. I couldn't think of a fitting mount for him (Although Iskander's "chariot" was based on the Gordion Knot so clearly there's some room for leeway here...) and B. I already have made way too many Riders compared to all the other Classes and wanted to do something else for a change. Oh and if you have the time, I'd like commentary for my Squanto sheet on the previous page as well as this one. Thanks!

    DEUS EX MACHINA

    Class: Ruler
    Alignment: Lawful Neutral
    Stats:

    • Strength: A+
    • Endurance: A+
    • Agility: B+
    • Mana: C
    • Luck: -
    • NP: EX

Born from the cradle of science and magic mixed together, Deus Ex Machina is a robot with an artificial soul as his core. His body's entire circuitry was designed to be a magic circuit thus allowing the artificial soul to be successfully transplanted. His existence was a haphazard idea made by a collaboration of intellectuals in both science and magic due to an invasion of an alien force that could not be stopped through conventional means.

    Personal Skills:
    Undying Will A
As long as Deus Ex Machina desires to live, his magic circuits will recreate and restore his body, granting him pseudo-immortality. The process takes time equal to the damage restored and can only work as long as his soul and a fragment of his magic circuit is still intact.

Eye of the Mind (False) A+
While not exactly instinct, his innately active magic circuit detects and informs Deus Ex Machina of minor changes in the surroundings, allowing him to seemingly grasp attacks equal to the level of a person with superb foresight.

    Mana Burst C-
Deus Ex Machina can send surplus of mana through his magic circuits to temporarily overcharge himself, allowing him to deal more damage than normal. However, the feedback and backlash received from this effect is equal to the amount of power gained.

    Self-Modification EX
While normally not used, if Deus Ex Machina deems a certain device or part of a machine as necessary for his battle, he can merge freely with said object. Does not require any sacrifice on his part and merged parts can be combined together to form an entirely new result. Merged results can be separated from his main body to create weapons or objects of use.

    Class Skills:
    Independent Action EX
Due to him being self-sustaining as his body is that of a machine and maintained by his magic circuits, he does not need mana from a master at any point of time, even if he uses his Noble Phantasm. However, with sufficient support from a master, his Noble Phantasm gains a bonus grade increase.

    Item Construction EX
A resultant skill from his Self-Modification. Able to imprint his magic circuit with anything he merges, Deus Ex Machina can make any merged object a noble phantasm of varying rank depending on the result of said merger. However, resultant objects are only useful when wielded by him alone as it requires a connection with his own mana and a constant stable source of mana supply, only possible through direct contact with Deus Ex Machina.

    Magic Resistance -
While Deus Ex Machina's mana is constantly running through his magical circuits, it usually serves as a means of synchronising the body and the soul rather than to resist magic effects. It's possible to raise it to rank E but will result in a penalty to his Mana by a rank.

    True Name Discernment -
Unable to be utilised by Deus Ex Machina as his soul's memory and body's data records were created to override any forced external information.

    God's Resolution A
Even though Deus Ex Machina has God's Resolution, he himself does not agree with forced subjugation of a person's will and will not use it, even if it will cost him his life. Deus Ex Machina holds a person's will above all else as he himself was born from the will of others which he regards as nothing short of a miracle.

    Noble Phantasm:
    Mortaliser
    The Sword That Slays Immortal

    Rank: B
    Type: Anti-Unit

A sword that rends any form of immortality. It's true effect is a supplanting of Deus Ex Machina's own mana into the target forcibly, disrupting the effects of self-regeneration such that a wound would not be able to heal. Additionally, it also prevents the opponent mages from using spells. However, since all it does is disrupting the target's biological functions, it's effect is only temporary and will wear off within a few hours or less depending on the target's magic resistance and consequent uses has it's effectiveness reduced.

This sword was crafted by utilising the additional materials meant to produce Deus Ex Machina in case a component was not manufactured to specifications.

    Exterminatus
    Mana-Filled Planet Destroyer Cannon

    Rank: A (EX)
    Type: Anti-Planet

A large plasma cannon created in order to destroy a planet-sized alien battleship. It's output is strong enough to destroy a planet but due to the constantly high heat generated and mana required, trying to minimise the effects onto both Deus Ex Machina and his surroundings will result in a degradation of the Noble Phantasm to rank A but the mana consumption remains the same. A trump card that can only be used in a decisive moment because Deus Ex Machina would have his mana drained to such an extent that he needs a couple of minutes to be back in normal combat and taking a rank down in all stats until a week after the use of this weapon. With the support of a master, the negative effects can be reduced somewhat.

Deus Ex Machina named this Noble Phantasm Exterminatus during the aftermath of the battle, realising he had completely wiped out an entire alien race. It was created by Deus Ex Machina through merging with several alien planetary plasma cannons.

His is a bit different. His class is a Ruler class because he doesn't have a wish of his own but his class skills are actually governed by his own bodily capabilities. As such, True Name Discernment and God's Resolution are nonexistent for him and thus why I never put it in. As for Magic Resistance, he innately has mana surging through magic circuits to consistently synchronise his body and his soul rather than to reduce magic effects.

EDIT: I'll just add them in but give them - rank.

EDIT 2: I've added them in.

Is Deus Ex Machina from sort of TV show or game or something? His backstory seems quite thoroughly worked out and he certainly isn't from any mythology. If he's from modern media he should really go in the Modern Servants thread if he's not then... well, where is he from exactly?

I really need to start adding his backstory huh. I was hoping to do it another time. Deus Ex Machina is actually from the future. As we all know, Heroic Spirits can come from any timeline, which includes the future (case to note: EMIYA). So, I might as well flesh out a Heroic Spirit from a future world rather than in any myth.

A Heroic Spirit from the future huh? That's certainly an interesting idea. Is he from the same hypothetical future as the Angel Notes story by any chance (considering that he has a planet-killing NP as well as one that lets him even kill beings with alien concepts of death he'd be perfect for fighting Types)? Also on another (Angel) note, what do you think of my Squanto and Emperor Norton sheets I posted up earlier?

Nope. Totally not the same world as Angel Notes story. My world he is in is the near future, about a few more decades in the future. During that time, an alien invasion began. Conventional human weapons did not work and magic, while possible to inflict damage upon the target, were limited by the amount of impact it could do to the invading force due to the dwindling quantity of magicians at that time. To resolve the crisis at hand, magicians from the Clock Tower contacted leaders in science and technology and hastily scrapped together a design that could house a perpetual motion engine, an artificial soul created from magic and almost identical to the miracle of Third Magic. The soul would then interface with the body itself through a series of man-made magic circuits that runs through the entire body. With latent mana flowing through himself, it would increase the offensive and defensive capabilities that could be done using physical means. The only thing that takes him apart from being a robot with a true AI is that he can feel emotions with his artificial soul but as he was not created through Third Magic itself, his soul is somewhat lacking and he acts more like an robot than a human. On 'activation', the facility he was awaken in was under siege and all researchers and magicians who were directly involved were killed.

Huh. Certainly seems like you put a fair bit of thought into coming up with his backstory for just a Servant sheet. Are you going to use him in a story or something?

Nah, but I do create extensive backstory to make a character work out. Obviously, I sometimes might find flaws in my writing so I generally like to change it on the fly but that's usually a lot of hassle in a story as I'm the one who has to proof-read my own work and that's a bit hard.

You mean you're actually not going to use that guy in a story? Seems kind of a waste in my opinion... (Oh and by the way, I'd still like some commentary on my own sheets if you have the time)

Seems like a waste to do so since I barely have the capability to write a story. I can imagine a backstory all well and good but getting past the 1000 words category kills me. Also I prefer not to comment about a person's work.

I'm back, and I bring a sheet with me.

    Class: Berserker
    True Name: Juan Luna
    Attribute: Man
    Alignment: Neutral Good

    STR: D (C)
    AGI: C
    END: D (C)
    MGI: B
    LCK: C
    NP: B

    Skills:

    Mad Enhancement: D (conditionally C)
A manifestation of the Luna family’s infamous short temper that grants Berserker a Rank-Up in Strength and Endurance at the cost of being unable to continue long trains of thought. Berserker is almost perpetually in a foul mood, and as a result, fine motor skills, such as holding a paintbrush, become too difficult for him.

    Territory Creation: C
As a painter and sculptor, Berserker retains the ability to secure a location for his purposes-- in this case, a “studio”. However, he does not make much use of the Skill.

Eye for Art: B (originally A+)
As a studied painter and sculptor, Berserker can identify a Noble Phantasm that possesses artistic anecdotes upon sight. However, the skill Mad Enhancement imposes a Rank-Down, which strips Berserker of the high chance to identify Heroic Spirits widely represented in painting and sculpture.

    Human Observation: - (originally C-)
Signifies the bearer’s ability to observe and understand people. Berserker has adequate understanding of human behavior; however, he cannot form conjectures about things like personality, livelihood, and moral stance from sight alone. Berserker uses this skill to analyze social structures, such as Church and state, instead. However, because the Skill Mad Enhancement destroys the capacity for complex mental processes, this Skill has been lost.

    Noble Phantasm:

    Spoliarium
    Storehouse of the Slain

    Rank: B
    Type: Anti-Army
    Range: 1-25
    Max targets: 100 people

Juan Luna’s most valued and famous work as a painter, manifested as a Noble Phantasm. Taking the despair and hatred of all those who are silently oppressed as fuel, Berserker brings forth a ruined coliseum left to rot, a piece of High Thaumaturgy not unlike the Golden Theatre of Emperor Nero. Those trapped inside will have their minds read without fail, and the Noble Phantasm reacts accordingly by producing “gladiators” from data about the targets’ worst memories and experiences. These copies are less powerful than the real thing, and they form distinct personalities to match the character they were meant to be. Of course, the only means of escape is either by defeating all the contenders inside, or simply launching an attack powerful enough to destroy the entire structure in one blow. All in all, the Noble Phantasm’s main form of assault is not the physical kind, but the mental, which aims to overwhelm the target by bringing to light all their past failings and unsightliness. While such an ability would be better suited to a writer than an artist, Berserker simply retorts that there is art in a human claiming victory over his inner demons, no matter what the medium.

    Lore
Berserker is Juan Luna, the famous painter of the Spoliarium, among many other works. He is a painter, sculptor, and revolutionary who was taught the ways of the world in a country that was not his homeland. As such, he carries himself with a sort of Western elegance while maintaining an Oriental spirit.

...Or he would be, had he been summoned in the Caster Class. Juan Luna’s summoning as Berserker stems from anecdotes about the Luna brothers’ infamous tempers, as well as the story of how Juan killed his wife in a fit of rage that could only be called a “crime of passion”. He displays none of his gentle manners from his years of study in Spain. What remains is a crude, dour, and perpetually annoyed painter who cannot even manage a simple sketch.

However, the summoning as a Berserker does have its perks. Juan Luna’s own capabilities as a Magus are zero, but being a Berserker allows him to display his proficiency in fencing, marksmanship, and other martial arts. Although they do not hold a candle against older Heroic Spirits, they are enough to be able to slay Masters caught off guard.

Berserker greatly appreciates works of art that try to imitate life as closely as possible, since this was the sort of aesthetic he worked with during his entire life. Realistic art also seems to be the only thing that calms him down. Conversely, he feels only revulsion when looking at surrealist art, and will probably try to destroy the works, calling them abominations unfit to be on display. He also has poor compatibility with fellow hot-blooded idiots, especially his brother.

Concerning his wish to the Holy Grail, he only wants to see his wife one last time. The last time they parted was under unfortunate circumstances; namely, with Juan holding a smoking revolver and his wife, along with her lover, in a pool of their own blood. Berserker feels that doing something as abominable as parricide is an unforgivable transgression, especially when blinded by anger, so he only wishes to set things right with his wife, even if only to assuage his wounded conscience.

    Class:
    Berserker

    STR: A
    END: B
    AGI: A+
    MGI: C
    LCK: D

    Class Skills

Madness Enchancement (EX): Berserker's mind is far removed from that of a human, and is filled with
constant rage, greed and hunger. However, the methods by which Berserker kills its victims suggest
that it is motivated by sadism rather than any animalistic urge.

    Personal Skills

Monstrous Strength (A): Despite its frail appearance, Berserker is incredibly strong and blindingly fast,
and its skin hardens into tough armor that is difficult to pierce or cut.

Spirit of Winter (B): Berserker is a spirit strongly connected to winter and cold, and gains a Rank-up to
parameters during the winter or in low temperature environments. It also gains a resistance to cold-based attacks.

Presence Concealment (A): It is possible to remain completely undetected, though the efficiency of stealth
drops once preparations to attack are made. Berserker is a very capable hunter and predator.

    Noble Phantasm

    Makkapitew~Balance of Nature (B, Support)

Upon summoning, Berserker does not possess a body, instead inhabiting the nearest available host body, which may be its
Master, or a captive used as a sacrifice. This possession does not give Berserker control over them, but it allows them
to influence their actions and fill them with an insatiable hunger for human flesh. By consuming human flesh, this Noble
Phantasm takes effect by transforming the victim into a Demi-Servant with Berserker's abilities unlocked: heightened senses,
enhanced strength and speed, claws and armored skin. They become hideous in appearance, skin taut against their bodies,
elongated limbs, to the point where they grow to eight feet tall. They can climb up walls and jump large distances. By
becoming one with its victim, Berserker becomes the monster of legend, able to battle other Servants and make an entire
city its hunting ground. The second effect of Berserker's possession is an awareness of every individual within 10 kilometers
who has consumed human flesh. When they do so, they are cursed to mutate in the same manner as Berserker and join his pack.
Their parameters are lower than Berserker's, but are still far above a normal human, at about the level of a D-ranked Servant.
Since Berserker is a spirit, it cannot be killed until all of the mutated bodies are killed. Anyone who consumes human flesh
is a receptacle for Berserker's possession, and serves as a fallback for it to retreat to. Being supernatural and pseudo-undead,
Berserker's hosts are difficult to kill, but are vulnerable to silver, holy weapons and fire, which burns away their armored skin.

    Background
Berserker is the Wendigo, a violent spirit of Native American lore. The term "wendigo" can be used to refer to the spirit itself
or the humans it possesses and morphs into monsters. The Wendigo is part of the traditional belief systems of various Buffalo people
in the northern United States and Canada, most notably the Ojibwe, Saulteaux, Cree, Naskapi, and Innu people. Although descriptions
vary somewhat, common to all these cultures was the conception of Wendigos as malevolent, cannibalistic, supernatural beings of great
spiritual power. They were strongly associated with the winter, the north, and coldness, as well as with famine and starvation. At the
same time, Wendigos were embodiments of gluttony, greed, and excess: never satisfied after killing and consuming one person, they were
    constantly searching for new victims.

All cultures in which the Wendigo myth appeared shared the belief that human beings could turn into Wendigos if they ever resorted to
cannibalism, becoming possessed by the demonic spirit. Once transformed, a person would become violent and obsessed with eating human
flesh. The most frequent cause of transformation into a Wendigo was if a person had resorted to cannibalism, consuming the body of
another human in order to keep from starving to death during a time of extreme hardship, for example in hard winters, or famine.
Among northern Algonquian cultures, cannibalism, even to save one's own life, was viewed as a serious taboo; the proper response to
famine was suicide or resignation to death. On one level, the Wendigo myth thus worked as a deterrent and a warning against resorting
to cannibalism; those who did would become wendigo monsters themselves.

That Noble Phantasm would actually be hilariously overpowered if it includes blood.
"Accidentally drank some blood during a nosebleed? WENDIGO TIME!"

"We have entered an infinite recursion of Saber."

Or if you bite the dead skin from your fingers like I do. All the Wendigos!
