wich is the greatest Italian "condottiero" who completely changed the late medieval/early modern warfare by using light cavalry and mounted arquebousiers and employing guerrilla tacticts who were incredibly effective, had he not died so Young he'd be a LOT more famous, Anyway:

A Sword engraved with the words: "Non snudarmi senza ragione, Non impugnarmi senza onore" meaning "do not unsheate me for no reason, do not wield me without honor". Giovanni has to specify a reason when he activates this weapon, but as long as the reason is honourable the sword's power increases.

Giovanni Raises the "Bande Nere" Banner to the wind,he is inspired to fight immediately gaining two rank up boosts in every stat. The sight also stikes fear in the hearts of his enemies due to the history associated with the banner, lowering all their stats by one rank if they do not have a Skill that nullifies Mental Interference of at least rank A

The Weakness to firearms is due to the fact that he was killed by a cannonball and had been hurt by a cannonshot earlier and I tought it was needed to balance him out.

BUUUT its true the legend says that he REALLY did think of his men as part of his family.
Yep I tought Bravery reduced mental interference but it was wrong on my part so that wasn't really what I meant
About the No army summoning NP, you can guess why I did put it in (HINT: ISKANDAR FAN) but I had no other Ideas as to what could qualify as his NP other than his own elite mercs, modified it anyway to it being only his banner not the "Bande Nere"unit itself.

Regarding Giovanni... the lack of legendary feats kinda hinders his chances to become a heroic spirits. This being said, I agree with the above... army-summoning NPs aren't exactly welcomed. Maybe you could make it so that under the stendard of his Bande Nere he can make and organize troops from people he enlists and giving them a boost as weak heroic spirits (thus making use of his Charisma skill). He would then be sort of a Iskander Lite version.

Maybe you could make it so that under the stendard of his Bande Nere he can make and organize troops from people he enlists and giving them a boost as weak heroic spirits (thus making use of his Charisma skill). He would then be sort of a Iskander Lite version.

He did defeat a Orsini veteran General and elite swordfighter in duel when he was still 17 and lacked any sword training, also he was the father of the first Gradduke of Tuscany and became a Kind of regional hero due to the later efforts of his direct descendants who ruled the grand duchy, but yeah if Avenger could be summoned, why not Giovanni?

Meh, I think everyone with a decent grounding in Renaissance military leaders can have heard of him.

The name comes from the Banner "Banda" here is short for "Bandiera" wich he dyed black after the death of his close relative and benefactor pope Leo X, at least in the story I know he never wore a headband.

Impressive, yes, I'm not saying he wasn't. But I'm talking about the qualifications to be an heroic spirit. They are all characters who have done "miracles", something that normal humans could have not, or more broadly, they were all at one point associated with magic, legends or mysticism, that kind of stuff.
Regarding the comparison... it's true that Avenger is really just a kid, but Giovanni was never regarded as something more than who he was (Avenger was sacrificed as the embodiment of all evil).

Well the Landsknecht tought of him as a demon because of his ferocity in battle and because his men were the only ones trained and capable enough to beat them, that's no miracle, but the renown and association with magic is there methinks.
