I notice you switch gender-pronouns a lot. Is Assassin a trap or trans or inconsistent or what?

    shit sorry.

The male came from my template sheet.

Actually the truth is, i was designing him first as a Male but when i searched for a Faceclaim, that Hibiki picture made me change my mind. So i edited some female/male stuff, but maybe not all of it

    Class: Assassin
    Identity: Arachne, the First Spider

    STR: D+
    END: C+
    AGI: B+
    MGI: D
    LCK: B
Appearances (can't decide on just one)

    Background

Once a beautiful and talented weaver of cloth and fabric, a single prideful mistake made a monster of Arachne for all time.

With loom and thread, there were none more skilled than the mortal Arachne. Viewers traveled leagues just to see her art.
So wondrous and majestic were her tapestries, it was said the spinner must have been instructed by the patron goddess of
weavers herself, Athena. To this comparison, Arachne proudly scoffed, claiming not even the gods rivaled her talent at weaving.

When Athena heard this, she visited Arachne, disguised as a crone, and encouraged her to show proper respect to the gods.
Arachne dismissed the old woman and issued a challenge that no god, not even Athena, could weave better than she. Furious,
Athena revealed herself and accepted the challenge.

They both set to the loom with fervor. Athena wove a glorious tapestry depicting her battle with Poseidon over the city of Athens.
Her detail and imagery were exquisite. Yet Arachne’s weavings depicted Zeus in his many infidelities with mortals. So flawless,
so lifelike was her artistry, not even Athena could refute the skill, nor could she contain her anger at such a sleight.
Violently, she tore Arachne’s tapestry and pressed a finger to Arachne’s forehead. Twisting in anguish, Arachne fell to the
ground as additional legs grew from her body, screaming as she transformed into the first spider.

It was an act of anger and pity, a lesson and a curse, for spiders are the greatest of weavers, and Arachne, in particular,
was to weave for all time, but none could doubt the consequence for Arachne’s pride. Still, within her twisted heart,
Arachne never forgave Athena, consumed by a dark hatred that can be sated only by the destruction of the gods.

    Class Skills

Presence Concealment (A): The ability to hide one's presence as a Servant. Assassin's
skill at stealth is exceptional, able to move quickly with complete silence.

    Personal Skills

Animal Dialogue (Arachnids) (B): Assassin is able to communicate complex instructions to any spider
and can easily form a contract with them to make them familiars.

Monstrous Strength (A): Assassin possesses the incredible strength, speed and durability of a spider whether or not she is in human form.
Assassin possesses all the natural abilities of a spider, including producing venom and silk, clinging
to walls and enhanced senses. She expertly incorporates these in combat with deadly efficiency to catch her prey.

    Noble Phantasms

    Theridiidae~Silk Evisceration (C, Anti-Unit)

An enhancement to Assassin's spider silk. By channeling prana down the length of her strands, she can reinforce the already
strong filaments and make them razor sharp. The silk becomes able to slice most non-magical materials, including steel and concrete,
and turns any web spun by Assassin into a literal deathtrap.

    Moira~The Greatest Weaver (B, Support)

Assassin's legend as the greatest weaver in all of Greece, superior to even Athena, gave birth to this Noble Phantasm.
By meditating on a specific individual, Assassin goes into a trance and spins an elaborate tapestry depicting the
target's history, allowing her to ascertain a Servant's identity with ease. This is accomplished by tapping into the power
of the Three Fates, who produce and maintain the threads of Life of all humans throughout the millennia.

When Jackie attacks the castle Sieg goes to Gordes to retrieve Arachne's cloth which Gordes got while searching for catalysts. It's supposed to isolate one against impurities. So he wears it like a mask to stop the Mist from affecting him.

I don't think it was stated that it was a Noble Phantasm but definitely could be.

Is Volume 3 translated somewhere? I've only been able to find CanonRap's translation of Vol 1, so that's how far I've read.

Flamen Dialis (High Priest of the Sky God)

In Ancient Rome, this was the title given to the cleric seen as the one in charge of administering the religious rites in honor to Jupiter, kings of the gods and Rome’s guardian deity. Back at the time, the worship of the Sky God Jupiter, the God of War Mars and Quirinus (the deified figure of the founder hero Romulus) had great popularity, so being the high priest of any of those three deities was seen as a position of unique prestige.

It may seem contradictory, but while this man exudes the overwhelming scent of a military man that bows to nobody, he also possesses attributes as devout servant of the gods.

    Nine Worthies (Nine Braves)

Established during the Middle Ages, a designation for nine historical and mythological figures said to personify the ideals of chivalry. Their origins vary among pagans, Jewish and Christians, but all were commonly regarded as paragons of a perfect, chivalrous warrior not only in their own time, but also in all the ages that followed. Even in modern days, many see them as examples to be followed.

    CLASS SKILLS

    Magic Resistance: A
The capacity to negate or abate the effects of Magecraft. Cancels all Magecraft of A Rank (High-Thaumaturgy that makes use of magic circles and Instantaneous Contracts) and below. Therefore, he cannot be injured by modern magi. In case of a single stroke, he may even hold back the coercion of the Command Spell.

The inherently high Magic Resistance of the Saber-class was further reinforced by means of heavenly providence. However, in case his Divine Protection is sealed away, this Skill will suffer a Rank-DOWN.

    Riding: D
The technical skill to mount on vehicles. It also displays its effects on mechanized vehicles. Can drive classical mounts and vehicles, but modern machines are beyond his capacities.

    Territory Creation: A
The technical skill to build up an advantageous encampment to oneself as a magus. Thanks to this Skill that allows to create in the shortest time a Workshop that displays the very best effectiveness on any kind of terrain condition, Caster boasts the greatest advantage in regards to defensive fights among all Servants. At A Rank, it is possible to mold a "Temple" that exceeds a Workshop.

    Item Construction: C
The technical skill to produce devices that carry magical power. It makes possible to manufacture various tools, from items and Mystic Codes meant for battle to daily necessities. However, this Skill takes time for the production and supply of ingredients. At C Rank, denotes construction prowess of an average magus. All the classical magic items can be produced.

    If an Ruler...
    Territory Creation (Revised): A
The technical skill to build up an advantageous encampment to oneself as a Heroic Spirit. Thanks to this Skill that allows to create in the shortest time a Fortress that displays the very best effectiveness on any kind of terrain condition, Ruler boasts the greatest advantage in regards to defensive fights among all Servants. At A Rank, the creation of a “Castle” – which surpasses a “Fortress” – is possible.

    PERSONAL SKILLS

    Charisma: C+
The natural talent to command an army corps. Raises the abilities of one's own army on group battles. A rare talent. Leadership skills suitable for a great general that leads an entire military force.

However, at times he displays the aura (royal presence) of an emperor…

    Divine Protection: EX
A blessing from Divine Spirits, provides bonus modifiers to all defensive values and saving throws. Having reached EX Rank, this Skill provides large-scale boost to his protections. Still, since it depends on Saber maintaining a favorable relationship with the gods, this Skill may be temporarily sealed away in case he commits an infraction that offends heavens in any way.

    Double Summon: B
A rare special trait that only a small fraction of Servants possesses. Makes possible to be summoned into this world while possessing the Class Skills of two different Servant Classes. In his case, it will always be a combination of Caster with either Saber or Ruler.

    Military Tactics: B

Tactical knowledge used not for one-on-one combat situations, but for battles where many are mobilized. Bonus modifiers are provided during use of one’s own Anti-Army Noble Phantasm or dealing against an enemy Anti-Army Noble Phantasm.

    Shamanism: A
An idiosyncrasy-like mystery. A Thaumaturgical Foundation rooted on local customs and folklore. Generally regarded as a minor school of Magecraft.

In his case, this represents religio, the ancient Roman religion that was based not on faith or dogma, but on the orthopraxy of prayer, ritual and sacrifice. It regarded pax deorum (peace with the gods) as foremost, and viewed the relationship between men and heavens as one of “give-and-take”.

    NOBLE PHANTASM

Crocea Mors – The Golden Sword that Delivers Divine Punishment
    Rank: B
    Type: Anti-Unit
Caesar’s favorite weapon, the wounds inflicted by this blade cannot be healed. Furthermore, the target’s health starts to quickly deteriorate from the moment he is injured by this Noble Phantasm, causing his death not long afterwards.

Despite its ominous ability, this is no magic sword・cursed blade, but a genuine holy sword. A divine treasure forged by the God of Craft Vulcan. Later, the goddess Venus gifted it to her son Aeneas – founding-hero of the Roman civilization. Lost during the early ages of the Roman Republic, it was gifted to Caesar during his youth – a clear sign that the gods had great expectations of him as a harbinger of a new age for Rome.

Those that oppose this sword and its wielder are recognized as “an enemy of the gods”, and thus will have their lives forfeit by means of heavenly mandate. What prevents the healing of injury and degrades the health of the body is no poison or disease, but a divine curse that enforces the demise of the target.

Veni, vidi, vici – Heaven’s Beloved Promised Child
    Rank: EX
    Type: Anti-World
Saber’s privilege as someone favored by the gods turned into a Noble Phantasm. In life, Caesar was ensured the accomplishment of all his endeavors for as long as he fulfilled his duties as an attendant of heavens. Even now, after his sublimation into a Heroic Spirit, this promise is still in effect.

Activation requires the performance of an extensive religious ritual, in which the appropriate sacrifices must be offered to honor the Roman gods. Once this requirement has been fulfilled, the power of heavenly providence will descend onto the world and bestow Caesar with matchless divine protection. Even if only for a limited amount of time, he will have assured success in all rolls, while his enemies will continuously suffer failure on their own rolls when attempting to directly interfere with him. In addition, Caesar’s allies will also enjoy the benefits of this Noble Phantasm during group battles – although in a more limited fashion.

Still, due to the very nature of this Noble Phantasm, it displays little effect against enemies that have Divinity at a high rank.

If one went only with its perceivable effects, this should be classified as an Anti-Unit, Anti-Army Noble Phantasm. However, since even the natural order of the planet is being interfered with by means of reversal of causality・rewriting of events, it instead falls into the Anti-World category.

    Background
    BACKGROUND

Born into an aristocratic (patrician) family of ancient and honorable pedigree, Caesar enjoyed a prosperous – but otherwise unremarkable – childhood. He received an extensive education, which included general academics, military arts and religious matters. He even displayed exceptional adeptness on that last field – something that earned him nomination to a distinguished sacerdotal position in his youth.

However, those peaceful days ended soon enough. When Caesar was just 15 years old, his father died under mysterious circumstances and he was forced to shoulder the position of family head. To make matters worse, his House was in crisis at the time – they were suffering persecution from one of his uncle’s political enemies. Despite its lineage, the Julius clan never had a particularly powerful influence on Roman politics, so there were few ways for them to protect themselves.

Eventually, the Julius Clan collapsed under the overwhelming political pressure. Caesar was striped from his inheritance, social status and even his priesthood. His life was spared thanks to the influence of the few political allies that the clan still had, but he nevertheless had to seek a military duty far away from Rome in order to escape from further persecution.

Caesar would only be able to return home years later, and by then he was already a competent military man with a respectable amount of achievements under his belt. He would then use the track records of his time in the army as a cornerstone to start a political career (under the laws of the ancient Roman Republic, the military institution was entitled to a political representation that was independent from that of the aristocracy and the masses). Caesar also would start a personal quest to recover his lost priesthood, which eventually earned him the capacity of chief priest (Pontifex Maximus) – the most prominent religious position of those times.

The first turning point of his career came when he ran for the office of consul in 60 BC. Having incurred a substantial amount of debts earlier in his career, Caesar lacked the financial backing to launch his political campaign. This lead him to approach Marcus Licinius Crassus – one of Rome’s richest men – in hopes of securing his sponsorship in exchange of political favors in the future.

Almost simultaneously, Caesar offered a friendly hand towards Gnaeus Pompeius Magnus, a Roman general that conquered many heroic achievements. Pompey possessed great popularity among both the army and the masses, so an alliance with him would ensure a significant support in the future elections.

However, Crassus and Pompey harbored mutual hostility towards each other due past grievances. If handled poorly, this bad blood between them could very well put an end to Caesar’s plans before they could even be put into practice. So, Caesar made frantic efforts into mediating the reconciliation between the two great men.

This how the First Triumvirate – a coalition between wealth (Crassus), military might (Pompey) and political influence (Caesar) that would dominate Rome for years to come – was established.

    Roman Dictator

The second turning point came much later.

In the province of Gallia, a coalition of native tribes rose in revolt against Roman control. With a large punitive army under his command, Caesar departed from Rome to suppress said insurrection. The ensuing conflict lasted for roughly a decade.

But, for better or for worse, Caesar was the linchpin that held the First Triumvirate together. With his extended absence, the alliance inevitably lost its unity. Crassus and Pompey began to pursue their own agenda and strive against each other for power. With Crassus death in 52 BC, the Triumvirate was effectively finished and Pompey became the de facto leader of the Roman Republic.

Meanwhile, Caesar’s many military achievements during the war earned him great popularity. As the conflict in Gallia reached its end and Caesar’s return became imminent, Pompey became fearful that his position would come under threat by the great hero. Making use of his political influence, Pompey convinced the Senate to issue an executive order: Caesar was to disband his army and immediately return to Rome in order to answer for accusations of corruption.

Aware that what awaited him was the same kind of persecution that he had faced in his youth, Caesar disobeyed the Senate’s order and approached the outskirts of Rome with his troops right in-tow. In response, Pompey declared Caesar a traitor and an enemy of the state.

It was the beginning of a civil war.

Caesar was able to secure supremacy over the Italian peninsula right at the early stages of the conflict. Then, capitalizing on the absence of any noteworthy political rivals in Rome, he took his time to solidify his influence over the government, while his prestige continuously raised among the population thanks to the military achievements he conquered. By the end of he war, any feasible opposition towards his dominion over he Republic had all but disappeared and Caesar managed to establish himself a the sole and absolute dictator of Rome.

However, in his hubris, Caesar aroused the displeasure of the gods by promoting a cult of personality among the masses in worship to his figure as a divine ruler (imperator). As consequence, heavens employed human hands as the instrument of its divine retribution; everything culminated in the assassination plot that took his life on March 44 BC.

Objectively speaking, Caesar’s time in power was extremely short. Nevertheless, in that brief period of time, he was able to implement a large number of social, political and economic reforms by means of overwhelming popularity and capacity as a ruler, completely changing the status quo of Roman society. Although he never lived to see the fruits of his work, it is undeniable that this man set the foundations of what would later become one of the greatest empires in human history.

I wouldn't mind Caesar having an EX NP, but I'm not sure why you think something like that classifies as Anti World or EX just for reversing causality when Gae Bolg is only B rank and is much more dramatic. Also, it's pretty weak. Not all abilities use saving throws and not all those that do are save or die type effects like Gae Bolg.

That way of thinking is too naive. When I say "all rolls" I mean ALL ROLLS, not just saving throws. While this NP is active, all his attack rolls, evasion rolls, parameters checks, skill checks and likes will have automatic success. Meanwhile, enemies will suffer automatic failures in those same tests when engaging against him. Just think along the lines that "Caesar will be successful in whatever he does, while opponents will always fail in their attempts to hinder him".

Basically, I gave him an even more overpowered (albeit time-limited) version of that cheat Skill that Meltlilith from Fate/EXTRA CCC has.

Yes, and what I'm saying is that that is an extremely minor part of the Hanging Gardens. IE VVV isn't really EX-worthy.

If that is the case, then scratch that last part of my previous post.

Sorry if I'm being repetitive here, but I simply can't stress enough how broken this NP is supposed to be. It employs large-scale amendments of the natural laws in order to always bring about the most convenient developments for Caesar. If this Servant were to become the main character in someone's story one day, VVV would give said author the perfect excuse to use a deus ex machina-like plot device in order to guide the story towards whatever outcome he wants.

    OP is updated.

Since I put it off for like one year and a half it took the better part of two days, but hey, that's my fault.

Already wrote this guy as a Berserker, but I guess no harm shall arise from putting him in another class

    Servant info:
    Spoiler:

    Name:
Hob the Fool a.k.a Sir Gowther
    Class: Rider
    Gender: Male
    Alignment: Lawful Good

    Strength: C
    Endurance: D
    Agility: B
    Mana: C
    Luck: A
    Noble Phantasm: D~A

    Skills
    Spoiler:
    Class Skills:

    Magic Resistance:
    B
Cancel spells with a chant below three verses. Even if targeted by High-Thaumaturgy and Greater Rituals, it is difficult for him to be affected.

    Riding: B
Most vehicles can be handled with above average skill. However, cannot ride the likes of Phantasm Races such as Monstrous Beasts.

    Personal Skills:

    Inversion Impulse: C-
As a Rider, Gowther still possesses this skill, although it is much weaker, perhaps due to his alignment. Actvating it will result in a temporary 1 Rank-up to Strength and Mana, but will permanently lock his Protection of the Faith skill and impose 2 Rank-downs to Luck.

    Protection of the Faith
    : B-
In Rider's case, he will permanently lose all the benefits granted by this skill if he talks to anyone, including his master, or if Inversion Impulse is activated. Doing so will also make it impossible to activate his Noble Phantasm.

    Noble Phantasm
    Spoiler:
Gottes Waffen - Fight for Atonement
    Anti-Unit, Rank D~A

In order to atone for the many sins which he commited, Sir Gowther had an audience with the Pope, who ordered him to not speak again, and to only swallow that which was first in a dog's mouth. He eventually ended up as a fool in the court of the Holy Roman Emperor. During a war between the emperor and a sultan, on three days Sir Gowther prayed to God for arms to help his liege in battle, and on every day he was rewarded with a horse, an armor, and a sword.

This Noble Phantasm can only be activated if Gowther is alone or only in the presence of his master, by praying to God for help. Gowther will then receive a black suit of armor, sword and horse, each being a Rank D Noble Phantasm, which will remain in the world for 8 hours or until they're dismissed. 24 hours after the activation, Gowther must once again pray to god. Doing so, he will receive the same equipment, but red-colored and Rank C this time, once again for 8 hours at most. If he does not pray again, he will permanently lose this Noble Phantasm. Again, 24 hours after the second activation, he must pray a third time; he will then receive the same Noble Phantasms again, but white-colored and Rank B. While Rider is equipped with any of these "sets" of NPs, it becomes impossible to determine his identity, except for his master.

Finally, after the third activation, once Gowther no longer possesses the white set, he will be granted a divine blessing: not only his Protection of the Faith skill will lose the - modifier, thus allowing him to once again speak, but his Strength, Endurance and Agility parameters will all receive a permanent Rank-up, and he will be granted a final, silvery set of equipment, each piece being a Rank A Noble Phantasm.

Yay! Thank you for doing it so we don't have to!
