It's certainly better to assign A++ or even A+++ rank than just slap EX rank on, to avoid escalation.

Here's another one I've recently tidied up and then decided I'd never use. The similarities to Spartacus are not intended, they actually show up in his legend. Honestly, Berserker of Red being this guy probably would have made more sense than that smiling weirdo masochist. Also, ties to the rest of the Nasuverse because why the hell not? DDD doesn't get enough love anyway.
Territory Creation
Azi Dahaka
The Serpent of Avesta
Class: Caster
Alternate Classes: Monster
Alignment: Lawful Evil
Parameters:
Strength: E
Endurance: E
Agility: D
Mana: A
Luck: D
Class Skills:
The ability to designate an area as the Servant’s territory, inferring bonuses whilst within that area.
- B: Creation of a "Workshop" becomes possible. It consumes the inside of whole building, setting itself to match the size of the building. The cost of spells is half of the usual, and prana regenerates at 60% greater efficiency.
Item Creation
The ability to construct arcane or magical devices.
- D: Caster has no specialisation in item construction, but can create basic magical items through use of his dark arts.
Personal Skills:
Agonist Disorder
Mental illness which impedes the ability to regulate one’s own emotions, it is often mistaken for Demonic Possession by those who do not understand the disorder. Severe cases of the disorder can physically distort and mutate the body to cope with the problems. As a type of mental disorder, this skill naturally has among its effects the traits of the standard skill Mental Disorder at an equivalent rank.
- A+: Possibly the first ever instance of agonist disorder, it is an aberrant appearance of a disorder commonly associated with modernity. Could it be that the selfish, dark qualities exemplified by Caster's own Agonist Disorder are an early precursor to the true nature of the modern world? Absolute emotional distortion has been reached. In the case of Caster, this is the utter release of his “wicked” emotions to the exclusion of all positive ones. In order to cope with the influx of negative emotions, the soul has warped and with it the physical form has changed, causing Caster to sprout a deadly black serpent from each shoulder. Because of the severity of this particular case, this skill acts as Mental Disorder, Mental Pollution and Sadistic Constitution of a matching Rank. This disorder is inevitably destructive to one’s own ego and mental faculties, so in time Caster will become nothing more than a reckless monster, and soon enough his body will attack itself, destroying him with vicious recklessness.
Corruption
The body and mind of the owner is tainted by darkness that can be drawn upon to increase various parameters, but also steadily swings alignment towards Evil with extended use, while the parameter increases are reduced over time.
- C: By actively drawing upon the negative swirl of power constantly being generated by his Agonist Disorder Caster is able to raise all Physical Parameters by one rank for a short time period, but after only a handful of uses this skill will Rank Up. This effect is cumulative, but each Rank Up removes 1 Parameter from receiving the benefits, and each Rank Up also increases the rate of self-destruction that Agonist Disorder inflicts on its owner.
Dark Arts
Spellcasting through dark and unsavoury methods, including but not limited to human sacrifice, demonic summoning and curse invocation. The higher one’s Rank in this, the further from being a Hero they become.
- A+: As the reputed son of All the World’s Evils, Caster has mastered the Dark Arts and is truly dangerous with them. He is well versed in command of demons, djinns and other wicked creatures, and can use them to generate storms or powerful curses. Though his command of evil spirits is not as great as someone with an equal rank in Demonology, his wider array of dark methods and techniques gives him great versatility.
Monstrous Strength
An ability possessed by those who were known for deeds of unbridled or uncivilised strength, temporary boost of the Strength parameter, and sometimes other physical parameters, for a time limit determined by the ranking of this skill.
- X: Not an unleashing of his monstrous nature, but rather a seal imposed on his body to restrain the distortions caused by Caster’s Agonist Disorder. Caster actively suppresses the true monstrous nature of his body, using his spellcraft to merge his distortions seamlessly back into his skin. However, the twin snakes sealed in Caster’s shoulders will become more and more hungry as time passes, and if the hunger becomes too much then the snakes will break through the magical seals and emerge to feed, in a wanton frenzy of violence. While the serpents are released Caster gains a rank up to Strength and Endurance, and he is able to voluntarily release them to feed if he desires.
Zahhak-e TaziDescription: Although in life Caster simply suffered from a rather extreme case of Agonist Disorder (possibly the first ever instance of the disorder, in fact), his disturbing physical mutations and cruel personality as a ruler gradually developed into a more mythologised individual as time passed after his death. It became accepted truth that Caster was the bastard son of Angra Mainyu, the god of evil, and was irreparably wicked to his core. The tale goes that when Caster seized power and became king by killing his physical father Angra Mainyu - his spiritual father - came to visit him in the guise of a cook. Because his meals were so excellent the cook asked for a blessing, by being able to kiss the king on both shoulders, so that he may remember the glory of it for the rest of his life. As the tale goes, Caster allowed this and when Angra Mainyu laid his lips upon Caster’s bare shoulders the wicked black snakes sprung forth.
Kiss of All the World’s Evils
Type: Anti-Unit/Anti-Good
Rank: A
Range: 0
Targets: Self
Although this is clearly a folktale that attempts to account for Caster’s disorder, it has become crystallised as mystery in his life as a Servant, and so his body has become altered. Due to the beliefs of the people, Caster has become, at least in part, connected to All the World’s Evils, and his physical nature has twisted to reflect this. When he is wounded Caster does not shed blood, but rather seething black mud that burns and curses upon the touch. Within this mud swims pestilence and swarms of vermin, which Caster is able to control with his thoughts. Of these wicked creatures, obviously the most visible and powerful are the two serpents that coil and writhe on his shoulder blades. This venomous snakes are, through the power of mystification, actually immature drakes and therefore possessed of draconic attributes. They can grow and become large and vicious, and if ever one is cut from Caster’s body it will grow, sprouting a proper tail and becoming an autonomous Monstrous Beast that is frenzied and violent. Whenever a serpent is cut from Caster’s body a new one will grow in its place, so he can never truly be free of his curse, rather just suppressing it.
Each of Caster’s serpents needs to feed on at least one human soul per day, simple prana nourishment not being sufficient to satisfy their hunger. If they are not fed they will turn on Caster and his allies, consuming all that they see. However, even these snakes are not the most potent of the dangers caused by the warping inflicted to Caster’s physical self. If ever Caster were to be killed his body would rupture, exploding and spraying the burning, lethal cursed mud over an enormously wide area. This is, of course, extremely problematic for a battle royale such as a Grail War where Servants must be killed in order to power the wish machine, but even this death spasm is not the worst of it for a Grail War. Because Caster has become known as the son of Angra Mainyu his soul now carries a sliver of All the World’s Evils engraved upon it. Although it is not something that blackens his entire soul, it would still be absurdly dangerous and reckless to insert such a bedevilled soul inscribed with the negative aspects of humanity into an autonomous, impartial wishing machine, even as simple fuel.

I have one question, hope we have any Japanese and German in this forum:
- under your view, who is the strongest hero of your nation's mythology/legend/ history ( Japan and Germany)????
thank you.
I like that Aki Dahaka a lot. It's not overcomplicated, but it's very Nasu and makes good use of mythological flavor.
Not picking Sir Daniel von Blumenthal. For shame.
He's a Knight of the Round Table
A TRAITOR
Yamato Takeru doesn't really do all that much though.
Ragnarok, come day of wrath
That fallen souls might bear our plea.
To hasten the Divine's return.
O piteous Wanderer.
Dietrich is only greater if you like combine all the stories about him, in which case yes hes an all-killing kleptomanic badass.
I'm not Japanese, but Susanoo slaying Orochi is the biggest "Hero Moment" that i can think of
- - - Updated - - -
I mean, he is a god but yeah
- - - Updated - - -
A demoted God!
Heroic Spirit-worthy!
I'm sorry, but why... Kaguyahime?Japan: Probably Yamato Takeru or Kaguyahime
Maybe all the nifty stuff she's got.
Literal moon person so that's good for a joke too.
Removing Susanoo from the equation because of god status--otherwise I'd agree with Jet--and going by Nasu rules, I'd actually probably go with Minamoto-no-Yoshitsune because it hits both age and the association with samurai and stuff, so he gets the mix of mythological motifs along with the grittiness of the actual historical warriors.
If you go for popularity power though it'd probably be a fight between Musashi or one of the Sengoku warlords. Sarutobi Sasuke a dark horse that assassinates them, maybe.
Localizationing stuff
Popularity-wise its either Musashi or Nobunaga.
Muramasa can cut through casualty, so him and Masamune as the two big swordsmiths, should be reasonably powerful servants
Assuming that Nasu's comments about weapons and souls isn't referring to dem Yamato bushi thinking their souls were located in their blades and we don't literally have Touken Ranbu Servants.
