KingOfMemes: I'd been seeing you lurking here for a while in the Thread Information section, so it's good to see you finally dropped by!

Chronos is pretty interesting for a first Servant. Definitely very powerful given his high-up position in Greek Mythology, I'd say it's fair enough give or take a few + modifiers. In general, anything ranked A+++ could probably be just A++ instead and having Charisma at an A+++ ranking is downright absurd even if only against Divine Spirits given that Gilgamesh, the king of literally the entire world who defied the gods has 'only' an A+ ranking which is already nearly unprecedented across the franchise. Lower that aspect to A+ I'd say.

Otherwise, his NPs are pretty well-done. The first one in particular.

Class Skills

Avenger (EX): The status of one who gathers people’s hatred and grudges onto oneself manifested as a Skill. Those around her will naturally view her as an enemy, but wounds and insults directed towards Avenger are transformed into strength. As long as she hates and is hated, she will receive a large rank up to her Strength parameter. The Hashihime’s rank in this skill is incomparable, as she has become nothing more than a living grudge.

Oblivion Correction (A): The ability to hold onto a grudge, even though others forget. This single minded determination increases the damage dealt by critical strikes in battle. Avenger’s hatred is specifically targeted towards couples who are happy, who she will relentlessly pursue.

Self-Replenishment (Mana) (A+): The determination of someone who has directed their entire being into avenging themselves. Until they achieve their vengeance, they will produce their own mana, even if it’s only the smallest amounts.

Personal Skills

Mental Pollution (A+++): A skill that makes it highly possible to shut out any mental interference Thaumaturgy, due to the possession of a distorted mentality. However, at the same time it becomes impossible to come to an understanding with individuals that do not possess an equivalent rank of mental pollution. At this rank, Avenger is completely immune to mental effects, but is utterly insane, unable to think of anything but her own hatred and resentment.

Oni Kind Demon (False, C): A Skill that represents the superpower as well as the demonic nature as an oni. A mixed Skill of Natural Monster, Monstrous Strength, Charisma, Mana Burst and so on, and as such, a large boost is applied to the Strength and Endurance parameters. Due to never being a chieftain of demons, and due to not being a demon by birth, the Hashihime possesses a weaker, false version of this skill. The version of Mana Burst depends on the user, but usually it is "Heat". Avenger’s version of prana burst has a flame effect; the fire she produces burns bright green and emits a thick, oily choking smoke and a foul fragrance, resembling the rot that hides within her. She was granted the power to give form to the hatred that burned in her heart when she transformed into an oni. She is unable to use this skill until she turns her curse on herself and transforms into a monster.

Shapeshifting (B): Refers to both borrowing bodies and appearance change. A method used by the millenary spirits of foxes and badgers of the East. Avenger only has the ability to switch between male and female forms depending on her target; she uses the female form as her default. By transforming into an oni, she loses the ability to take on a human form, and can no longer shapeshift.

Ushi no Toki Mairi

A Visit to the Shrine at the Hour of the Ox

(Anti-Unit, D): A ritual for placing a curse on someone that originates from Japanese witchcraft. Dressing herself in white, wearing an iron crown with three candles attached to it, and carrying a burning brand in her mouth, the Hashihime curses her targets by hammering nails into straw dolls that represent them in the dead of the night. Repeating this process over several nights results in her targets suffering illness and injury at the points where the nails are driven in. There are more details to the ritual, but Avenger has streamlined it into an easier-to-perform, albeit weaker, version for convenience’s sake. Though a potent vengeance curse, it is of limited use against Servants as their natural resistance allows them to shrug off the effects of such a simple spell. The ritual is most effective when performed with no witnesses, and as a type of sympathetic magic its power can be increased by acquiring a sample from the victim, such as blood or hair. The true power of this Noble Phantasm, however, lies in Avenger’s ability to turn the curse on herself. By painting her body red, bathing in a river, and driving a nail into her own heart, she will transform herself into the monster she became at the end of her life, a raging oni that seeks only to devour and destroy other people’s happiness. Even without using this ability, Avenger uses a hammer and nails as her main weapons in combat.

(Anti-Mind, A+): The embodiment of every drop of envy and jealousy, hatred that secretly seethes within people’s hearts. Even without being activated, this Noble Phantasm has the passive effect of slowly stoking the desires of the people around her into a frenzy, like Iago whispering into Othello’s ear. When truly activated, it consumes Avenger entirely, engulfing her in a whirl of unspoken curses and ill-wishing uttered by the envious. A plague of hatred and insanity spreads out like a hurricane, sweeping away joy and contentment wherever it passes. The more souls that feed it, the stronger it cries out for more, as jealousy is impossible to satisfy, and the more grudges that it accumulates, the more powerful the attack will be. Even without activating this ability, Avenger can use the envy of others to boost the power of her curses. In her demonic form, this ability is always active, physical curses surrounding her like a miasma, sickening and infecting every living being that draws near. Her very nature becomes that of a beast that embodies all the envy, jealousy and resentment that lurks in people’s hearts.

Avenger is the Hashihime (though she had a different name originally, it has long been forgotten), a woman who was abandoned by her lover for another and so consumed was she with grief and jealousy that she prayed to become a demon in order to exact her revenge. Her prayer was granted and for years she lived under a bridge, slaughtering couples in her hated for their love, until she was eventually hunted down and killed. She is an Anti-Heroic spirit, being little more than a living grudge. No matter how downtrodden and miserable you are, she will be envious of you. At her core lies self-pity, but she will kill anyone else who attempts to empathize with her. As befits one who can only envy others, her human form is very weak, capable of only spitefully wishing harm on others as her resentment slowly builds. Once she reaches her breaking point, she will turn herself into a demon and begin her rampage. She only wishes to make other people miserable; she feels that as she herself is no longer capable of joy, the only way she can relate to other people is by making them as unhappy as she is.

CE - Kifune Shrine Torii

A shrine in Sakyo-ku, in Kyoto associated with the ushi no toki mairi ritual, as it is here that a spurned women prayed to the gods for a way to avenge herself on those who hurt her and received instructions on how to turn herself into a monster in response. Hashihime’s curses are most powerful when she performs her ritual in the shrine’s grounds, though this is a difficult fact to exploit.

Rider will appear as a young knight with light blue and silver armour and with a large two-handed steel sword that he uses with only one hand and swings with extreme proficiency and strength, his fighting style is also unique due to the way he utilizes the tools provided to him by "Founder of Nations". His mount is a giant purple lion (9 meters tall and 20 meters long) with fierce claws and fangs and the ability to spit fire similar to a dragon.


Class Skills:
Riding: (A)
All creatures but those of Phantasmal Beast and Divine Beast-rank can be used as mounts. This rank is high enough to have aptitude for the Rider Class. Afonso is most skilled at riding horses, however, his riding abilities has been increased by being summoned in the Rider class.


Magic Resistance: (D)
Cancels Single-Action spells. Magic Resistance of the same degree of an amulet that rejects magical energy.


Personal Skills:
Founder of Nations: (A)
A unique skill given to those that founded nations that still exist at the time of summoning, the older the nation, the higher the rank of this skill. Since Portugal is one of the (surviving) oldest countries of Europe, the rank of this skill is very high.
This skill has two main effects. It increases the range and activation rate of the “fame” boost. In other words, at this rank, even being summoned in places or countries with low connection to himself or his country may provide him with a big “fame” boost, the potency of the “fame” boost is also amplified in his own country. In order for this effect to resolve, he needs to pass a “Luck” check upon summoning.
Its other effect allows Afonso to summon and have access to items or weaker versions of Noble Phantasms that would normally fit another class or that are not even able to be summoned under normal conditions. Examples of this are, for example, his (non-noble phantasm version) spear, his personal horse, a (non-noble phantasm version) normal shield, some siege equipment and a weaker version of his Saber class noble phantasm “Sword of Afonso”.


Military Tactics: (C+)
Military Tactics is tactical knowledge used not for one-on-one combat situations, but for battles where many are mobilized. Bonus modifiers are provided during use of one's own Anti-Army Noble Phantasm or when dealing against an enemy Anti-Army Noble Phantasm.
The result of Afonso´s many victories and the political fitness he showed in order to gain support for his cause. Due to his particular skills, he gains an advantageous check when fitting against well fortified positions and when securing deals that provide support and help from outside sources.


Revelation: (C)
Revelation is a Skill equivalent to Instinct, a sixth sense regarding battles; however, "Revelation" accommodates all matters related to the achievement of a goal (for instance, choosing the most suitable path while travelling). This skill manifests as a kind of foreshadowing-like ability for all types of actions and allows him to predict what is the best path to accomplish any goal.
Originates from the legend that Afonso heard the "voice of god" before the "Battle of Ourique", guaranteeing his victory and supporting the independence of Portugal and Rider´s rightful rule over said territory and, has a result, Afonso´s reign was filled with victories that his successors would have difficulty archiving.

Noble Phantasms:
Beast of Leão "Rise of the Conqueror King"
Rank: (A) / Anti-Army / Range: 1 – 25 / Max Targets: 100

The Purple Lion of Leão and Rider´s mount. This is not a Noble Phantasm that Rider would normally posse, since its actually the Coat of Arms of the Kingdom of Leão, and his possession over it represents the rebellion of Afonso over his mother and against Afonso VII of Leão and Castela when he was 17. Eventually he gained a large support from the church and from the crusaders from the north of Europe by fighting and conquering territory from the Moors, while managing to defend is own territory from the Kingdom of Leão and in 1179 the pope recognized the Portuguese Independence.
The Lion is a magical beast of incredible strength and speed, capable of breathing fire. By calling its true name, the lion will connect to the land and fill an entire area with a hell fire, creating a field of death and flames. Furthermore, its especially effective against armored targets.


Manifestis Probatum "Treaty of Newly-found Royalty"
Rank: (C) / Shield / Range: 1 – 10 / Max Targets: Self - 15

The manifestation of the treaty that gave Portugal it´s independence as a shield that protects Rider and his allies. Originally, it was a treaty that marked Portugal´s frontiers and it manifests itself as the iconic shield that Afonso possessed. By calling its true name, the shield creates an area around Afonso that pushes anybody away to a safe distance, giving Rider the chance to make his next move, retreat or activate a Noble Phantasm. Furthermore, due to Afonso´s particular style, he likes to use his shield as a boomerang and as a weapon. (Think Captain America)
However, the strength of this shield is nothing special in direct combat (Can deflect a couple of A rank attacks at most) and its effectiveness is reduced against saints and people with high magic resistance.


Sword of Afonso "Burden of the Conqueror King"

Originally a Noble Phantasm exclusive to the saber version of Afonso gained by the effects of "Founder of Nations". However, since its a Noble Phantasm that Rider shouldn´t normally posse, both its rank and effect were severely reduced and altered.
The sword of Afonso, is a sword said in some legends to be so heavy that 10 men were needed just to carry it. By calling it´s true name, the sword doesn´t do damage, but it makes all those within the determined area to be forced to carry the burden of Afonso´s sword. If they fail to pass a "Strength" check, then their "Strength", "Endurance" and "Agility" stats are reduced by one rank.

Lore

Afonso I of Portugal, nicknamed "the Conqueror", "the Founder" or "the Great" was born in 1109. He achieved the independence of the southern part of the Kingdom of Galicia, the County of Portugal, from Galicia's overlord, the King of León, in 1139, establishing a new kingdom and doubling its area with the Reconquista, an objective that he pursued until his death, in 1185, after forty-six years of wars against the Moors.

Afonso is though to have been born in Guimarães. He was the son of Henry of Burgundy and Theresa, the natural daughter of King Alfonso VI of León and Castile. Afonso was slightly more than two years old when his father, Count Henry, died on 22 May 1112 during the siege of Astorga. In an effort to pursue a larger share in the Leonese inheritance, his mother Theresa joined forces with Fernando Pérez de Trava, the most powerful count in Galicia.

The Portuguese nobility disliked the alliance between Galicia and Portugal and rallied around the infant Afonso. In 1122, Afonso turned fourteen, the adult age in the 12th century. He made himself a knight on his own account in the Cathedral of Zamora, raised an army, and proceeded to take control of his mother's lands.
In 1128, near Guimarães, at the Battle of São Mamede Afonso and his supporters overcame troops under his Count Fernando Peres de Trava of Galicia. Afonso exiled his mother to Galicia, and took over rule of the County of Portugal. Thus the possibility of re-incorporating Portugal into a Kingdom of Portugal and Galicia as before was eliminated and Afonso became sole ruler following demands for independence from the county's church and nobles. He also vanquished his mother's nephew, Alfonso VII of León, who came to her rescue, and thus freed the country from political dependence on the crown of his cousin of León. On 6 April 1129, Afonso Henriques dictated the writ in which he proclaimed himself Prince of Portugal.

Afonso then turned his arms against the persistent problem of the Moors in the south. His campaigns were successful and, on 25 July 1139, he obtained an overwhelming victory in the Battle of Ourique, and straight after was unanimously proclaimed King of the Portuguese by his soldiers, establishing his equality in rank to the other realms of the Peninsula.

Independence from Alfonso VII of León's suzerainty, however, was not a thing he just could achieve militarily. The County of Portugal still had to be acknowledged diplomatically by the neighboring lands as a kingdom and, most importantly, by the Roman Catholic Church and the Pope.
Bypassing any king of León, Afonso declared himself the direct liege man of the papacy. Afonso continued to distinguish himself by his exploits against the Moors, from whom he wrested Santarém and Lisbon in 1147.

Meanwhile, King Alfonso VII of León (Afonso's cousin) regarded the independent ruler of Portugal as nothing but a rebel. Conflict between the two was constant and bitter in the following years. Afonso became involved in a war, taking the side of the Aragonese king, an enemy of Castile.

In 1179 the privileges and favours given to the Roman Catholic Church were compensated. In the papal bull Manifestis Probatum, Pope Alexander III acknowledged Afonso as king and Portugal as an independent crown with the right to conquer lands from the Moors. With this papal blessing, Portugal was at last secured as a kingdom.


In 1184, in spite of his great age, he still had sufficient energy to relieve his son Sancho, who was besieged in Santarém by the Moors. Afonso died shortly after, on 6 December 1185. The Portuguese revere him as a hero, both on account of his personal character and as the founder of their nation. There are mythical stories that it took 10 men to carry his sword, and that Afonso wanted to engage other monarchs in personal combat, but no one would dare accept his challenge.

Personality

Rider is, at first glance, a man of extraordinary character, a mix of a wise king and educated knight and a scary blood thirsty warrior. Despite being a highly educated for his time, he always had a more wild side to him that he loved to show in battle and he was feared by both monarchs and other knights as a monster of extraordinary skill and strength.
Rider is young, happy and carefree and casually gives out a little bit of advice to those he thinks deserve such a thing. Through he expresses himself in a narcissist way, he loves his subjects and those that are loyal to him. However, he can also be extremely bloodthirsty and cruel if someone annoys him too much, through such situations are rare.

He grew up hearing stories about the exploits of his deceased father and his mother´s greed always made him incredibly mad and depressed. Through he never outright hated her, eventually he had to choose either following the footsteps of his dad or those of her mother. Through it pained him, when he made his choice, he left all regrets and thoughts behind and decided to become the king people desired and trained endlessly to make his dream come true and eventually brought both his mother and his stepfather to their knees.
However, his cousin was a difficult target to deal with and he knew that he had to gather support if he ever wanted Portugal to be independent. He gained a decently large and skilled army and used his political fitness to gather allies and information wherever he could find them. His military campaign was full of successes against both the Moors and his cousin and won many battles, one of the few cases of success during the period of the 2nd Crusade.

He is not quite sure about that what he should choose as a wish, since his wish came true in life. Through he doesn´t dislike the opportunity at a second life, he feels like this would also bring back some of his own regrets and obsessions. He will probably end up saying to his master that he only wishes for battle, even if that isn´t true deep in his heart.

The 'stealthy' aspect seems overemphasized and I don't think just conquering a city under nightfall should really qualify you for the Assassin Class. Frankly, those kinds of tactics seem like stuff pretty much any tactician worth their salt would use.

Rex Portugallensis seems kind of boring IMO, basically like a Portuguese-only mix of Gate Of Babylon and Ionian Hetairoi rather then anything specific to Alfonso's legend in particular. While I don't hate it, it doesn't really seem necessary given all the other stuff he's got.

His first NP is also a little weird, given it's not clear exactly how it works or what the criteria as to its activation are. And you mention his Noble Phantasms are sealed if he commits a dishonorable action, but there's no mention of that in any other part of his sheet so frankly I'm not too sure what to make of that part.

The stuff that qualifies him for Assassin is basically covered by the first NP anyway so I think you can drop double summon. The other stuff is mostly alright though, and the neat visual of a purple fire lion is worthy of metion.

Purely out of curiosity, if you could somehow pick one (1) of your original Servants to show up in canon, which would it be? I'd pick Don Quixote. She's not only one of my favorites by far, but the discussion of heroism and ideals that she'd entail could easily fit within the Fate franchise's established themes.

Tough to pick a single one so I'll go by class, though I'd probably say (as of right now) either: Roland
He's a favourite of mine, I like his character and I think he could fit in the franchise easily.

I didn´t even realize how much I was changing him and overestimating is more sneaky aspects. I dont even know how I got to the conclusion he would make a good assassin class servant.
I guess thats a good excuse to be more careful and not over analyze your own sheet for 4 - 5 hours.

A skill possessed by a select few who, facing insurmountable odds, defeated one of Humanity's Evils. A skill that emanates from the host and not the possessing spirit. Indeed, Ritsuka Fujimaru proved crucial to the defeat of Beast II, the mother goddess Tiamat, as well as Beast I, the demon king Goetia, who had come to possess the corpse of King Solomon.

Heroic Spirit Possession
An event where a Heroic Spirit comes to house itself in a human vessel. The product of this phenomenon is known as a Pseudo-Servant. This event produces mostly-unpredictable results, with the final product being a mix of the possessing spirit and the host human. While certain patterns may be observed regarding the formation of the Pseudo-Servant's final abilities, the extremely small sample size hinders further understanding of the phenomenon.

In this case, the prevailing personality seems to be that of the host. Even the skills and Noble Phantasm of the Servant seems to have been modified based on Ritsuka Fujimaru's abilities and experiences. One wonders if there is any significant portion left of the original Heroic Spirit.

An average practitioner of the art, the Heroic Spirit residing in Caster's body specialized in using the craft for heat manipulation and encryption purposes.

Skill signifying one as having defeated one of Humanity's Evils. Grants bonus damage against those of the Beast class; however, a certain "stench" now emanates from the Servant's body, making it nigh impossible to hide from members of the aforementioned class.

Gatherer of the Assembly: B
A Charisma-like skill specialized toward those known to have gathered large amounts of widely different people to their cause. When Caster is on the field, the attack power of all allied forces is increased. Increase in attack power is proportional with the bond built up between Caster and his ally.

A twofold heat-harvesting technique developed by the Heroic Spirit residing in Ritsuka Fujimaru's body, tempered by the host's experiences and abilities. A four-dimensional Bounded Field is erected, which then greatly increases the heat energy cost of all actions within a set period of time. All targets become unable to utilize skills or activate Noble Phantasms, and are bestowed with demerits to attack and defense while inside the Bounded Field. Caster is the nameless writer of the Biblical book of Ecclesiastes. He himself has forgotten his name, so he now answers to the name "King Solomon" or "Qoheleth". While he does not appear at all due to losing a philosophical debate with Ritsuka Fujimaru on the value of human works, he appears to be quite a good-natured fellow for someone who wrote that "everything is useless". He was a Jewish magus of the Fire attribute who, being inspired by the life of King Solomon, sought to write for himself a guidebook on life based on "I think this is how King Solomon would look at this situation". Or something. Eventually, said book was considered canonically inspired and was included in the seventy-three books of the Catholic Bible. Really, what a weirdo.

Incidentally, the conditions which brought about his possession of Fujimaru Ritsuka's body are "a hardworking person", "someone who can

force a roomful of nutjobs to cooperate

", and finally "he should have been inspired by King Solomon's way of life."

Fujimaru Ritsuka is fairly average young man who, by virtue of the workings of fate, became embroiled in an epic battle to take back the future of humanity. I chose male MC not just because of that sweet sweet Y chromosome, but also since fallacies did a Grant Caster Gudako for their fic. Plus this is a mostly serious sheet which, something most people don't associate with Gudako.

Purely out of curiosity, if you could somehow pick one (1) of your original Servants to show up in canon, which would it be? I'd pick Don Quixote. She's not only one of my favorites by far, but the discussion of heroism and ideals that she'd entail could easily fit within the Fate franchise's established themes.
