Just because he cares more about Fate nowadays, doesn't mean he doesn't care about his other projects.
If I had 5 ongoing projects and cared about all 5, I'd be way more passionate about the one that is massively popular and financially successful.
Seems like he's getting tired though, considering he's leaving FGO alone (or at least intends to, lol) after the Lostbelts.
To comment on this, the Dark Six as presented back then is hardly a sequel to Tsukihime. 50% of the cast is not present, and main characters are Dante from DMC and apparently Lorelei, who are new. It seemed obvious that while Ciel was probably going to have a larger role, Shiki would just be that one NPC you really don't want to meet. Whatever it was about, it wasn't a continuation of Tsukihime's premise of any sort, but its own thing instead.
I'm reasonably certain she was supposed to be a protagonist, giving at minimum as many protagonist wibes as Rin.
We do know that The Dark Six was supposed to have two protagonists, one of which was Enhance. We can assume the other was either Lorelei, or Shiki, or somebody else, but I'd like to imagine Shiki wasn't it.
best bet are the mangas

Machines do not lose their worth when a newer model appears.
Their worth (life) ends when humans can no longer bear that purity.

The gameplay's already shit though. That isn't a huge downside.
FGO Supports
No gameplay -> no character required -> no gacha -> no money -> no fgo
Say what you will about the gameplay, of any gacha game really, but it is still one of the minimum requirements for the business model to function.

At least crappy gameplay can give you an easy sense of accomplishment(false).
If i want bad gameplay Ill just play fate/extra.
God that game is carried by its characters super hard.
No kidding. Even so, I still get bored with it. Literally never bothered to finish a route.

Lol. It's not hard, from my experience (I've used both Nero and Tamamo), but I usually just completely lose interest in around the time you get to fighting the Waifu you didn't choose. It's one thing to have repetitive gameplay if it's involved, challenging, and rewarding (like Monster Hunter or Diablo, for example). It's another matter entirely if it's repetitive, simplistic, and is based around predictable patterns.
Honestly, EXTRA would likely have been better served as a hybrid VN/Fighting Game like Melty, but with some old, side-scrolling beat-em-up elements.
Maybe something like Guilty Gear Isuka and Judgment.

A Fate Beat Em Up could be pretty good actually. Since the moveset isn't as in-depth as a fighting game so you cram more FGO servants in there so you can nab everyone who wants to play as their favourites. Make it like River City Girls, with a huge interconnected map, then pull a Subspace Emmisary and have new characters in out of the way or hidden rooms, which you need to beat to unlock them.

FF XIV: Walked to the End
Started Legend of the Galactic Heroes (14/07/23), pray for me.
Dude, just imagine the endless FLC for that...
But yeah, I think it'd be pretty fun. Get some of that old-school revival, Dragon's Crown feel.
Actually, that'd make for an interesting take on FGO...
