Just as the many attributions of Quetzalcoatl depended on the region in which she was worshiped, perhaps, in some era, this woman was once Quetzalcoatl’s body.

Finished this one rather quickly... It's not Roland yet because I can't find a good faceclaim for him yet, but don't worry. This sheet is even more wanked than Roland's one. :j It's one of my favourite heroes along with Roland. I made him as an over-wanked/overpowered Berserker top-dog Servant that is on Karna/Achilles level.

I mean he did decimate Siegfried in battle in his legends (and Siegfried is really strong), he can breathe fire, often beat dragons and giants + he's got like 10+ NPs so take his powerlevel as you will. Also, this time around I put in more effort into his tactics and lore bits so you can read those if you want more about his powerlevel/existence as a Servant.

    With Armour

    Source:
    (X)
    Class:
Berserker (Alternatively Saber, Archer, Lancer or Rider)
    True Name: Dietrich von Bern
    Alias: Theodoric the Great
Alignment: Chaotic Mad (Normally 'Lawful Neutral')
    Origin: German folklore
    Region:
    Germany

    Height/Weight: 193cm/82kg
    Gender: Male
Likes: - (Unknown due to Mad Enhancement)
Dislikes: - (Unknown due to Mad Enhancement)
Talent: Smashing monsters and heroes alike into obedience
    Natural Enemy: Siegfried, Ermenrich
    Attribute: Earth
    Traits: Human, Monstrous
Armament: Berserker wields two magnificent swords - one that appears to be a pretty royal sword and one that appears to be a hideous demonic great sword. His preferred fighting style with his sword is due to dual wield, using the larger great sword to smash anything out of smaller sword's range while at the same time trying to get closer to the enemy in order to slice them apart with his smaller blade. Due to his Noble Phantasm, he is concealed in full body armour most of the time and thus his true appearance will be hidden from the enemy for a large part of the Holy Grail War.
Catalyst: Though Berserker is a mythological warrior, it is no secret that the real identity of Berserker was that of Theodoric the Great who once lived in the real world. Because of this, there are numerous catalysts left behind by Berserker than can be obtained for his summoning. Perhaps a suitable catalyst would be a piece of the Rök stone - which contains the earliest mention of Berserker in legend. Another possible catalyst could be bronze weight that was issued by prefect Catulinus in Rome and contained Berserker's name on it.

    Class skills:

    Mad Enhancement:
    (B+)
Raises base parameters in exchange for mental capacities - in some cases personal skills and Noble Phantasms are sealed away. At this rank, all parameters receive a rank up, but most of his sanity is taken away - though some old habits still remain such as Berserker still being calmed at the sight of Hildebrand. Whoever knows the name Dietrich von Bern will likely be aware of his famed bursts of rage during battles of his legends. Berserker is a hero that won a good amount of his most important battles by entering a frenzied state of absolute rage. One of such battles was the fight against the hero Siegfried who had lost to an angered Dietrich. His anger cannot be appeased by anyone other than Hildebrand herself and he can no longer see the distinction between enemy and foe. This monster will launch a killing blow at the first sight of even his own Master, making control of this particular Servant very difficult. Therefore, a '+' modifier is granted to this skill.

    Personal skills:

    Breath of the Dragon:
    (A)
Measures one's capability to release a fiery torrent of mana akin to the breath of a Dragon. During a number of his battle, Dietrich was claimed to enter such an enraged state that he quite literally started spewing fire against his enemies. In particular, the hero Siegfried is an individual very familiar with this mysterious ability possessed by Berserker - having been almost burned to a crisp by him despite wearing his famed Armour of Fafnir. The use of the dragon breath puts massive strain on the body of the user so normally, it is considered impossible to have such a high rank in this skill. It is only because of Berserker's extremely high rank in both END and MGI that he is able to withstand the power of this magnitude. The reason for such a high rank in his physical capabilities is often claimed to be the result of his lungs being warped into something far more inhumane - as he is claimed to be the son of Satan. In regards to battle capability of this skill, it's power is of such extreme magnitude that taking a hit head on with no type of protection would easily burn away the physical body of a Servant on contact.

    Eternal Arms Mastership
    : (A)
A skill that prevents the degradation of one's fighting skills even when under the effect of mental hindrance such as the Mad Enhancement of the Berserker class. By complete merging of mind, body and technique, it is possible to make use of full fighting skills regardless of one's insanity. Mastership of combat arts has reached the point of being said to be nigh-invincible in one's era. During his legends, Berserker's subordinates often claimed him to be the strongest hero in all the land due to boasting power above even the likes of Siegfried and Attila. Yet the reason for having this skill is an entirely different one. It's a ridiculous notion, but in truth it seems that Berserker's fighting capability raises the more enraged he is, showing more battle talent when in a state of frenzy. This is only the natural result for the individual who could prevail against the most powerful enemies only after having entered full-on 'rage mode'.

    Protection of the Faeries:
    (A+)
A skill that denotes the owner as an individual who has received the blessings of Elementals. In other words, it is the capacity to increase one's luck when found in dangerous situations. However, the activation is limited to battlefields where it is possible to perform a feat of arms. In life, Berserker agreed to be the personal champion of Fortuna - Lady Luck - herself upon which he was blessed with the best possible luck by her. After having killed the Wunderer, he earned the utmost favour of Fortuna. Furthermore, it is stated that in the Landsberger version of the Eckenlied, Berserker was favoured by the nymph Vrou Babehilt who decided to bind Berserker's wounds after a hard battle. In regards to the Holy Grail War, this is applied so that Berserker's wounds become easier to heal when in battle because a luck check boosts the effects of the Master's Heal skill.

    Beast Killer: (A)
A special attack towards magic beasts and wild animals. It is a super anti-skill against Servants who possess the ''monstrous'' trait. Having deep knowledge of fighting with beasts, Berserker has developed a fighting style most suitable for dealing with monsters. Particularly, he is credited with fighting numerous supernatural entities in life such as giants, dwarves, dragons, etc. In his case, he is most used to fighting with giants and dwarves putting him at a clear advantage against enemies that have anecdotes of being giants in their legend such as Fionn Mac Cumhaill. Additionally, Berserker has a legend that claims he has fought a Wunderer or rather a Huntsman of the Wild Hunt in life, thus from that time he has already experienced fighting with monsters of the ''Storm''. Plus corrections will be granted when dealing with someone like Artoria Lancer Alter or Francis Drake due to their Noble Phantasm containing the legend of the Wild Hunt in them.

    Collector: (B)
Measures the "talent" to collect high quality goods—a "luck" that draws rare items into the possession of the Servant. However, the Servant's Master derives no benefit from this personal skill. Berserker is somewhat of a kleptomaniac - he could be stated to be a collector of Noble Phantasms. This is because of a habit from his legend in which he always pillaged the possession of his enemies after slaying them. Because of that, Berserker is an individual who has amassed an immense number of Noble Phantasms which is normally impossible for Heroic Spirits. His Noble Phantasms are dozen in numbers, as such no matter into what class he is summoned Berserker will have a wide selection of Noble Phantasms different from the last class. This cements Berserker's existence as a powerful Servant who would boast nigh-unrivaled power no matter into what class he is summoned into and further makes him applicable for all three of the Knight classes due to his ownership and knowledge in the usage of many different types of weapons.

    Noble Phantasm(s)

    Rüstung von Ecke
    Dragon-Forged Armour

    Type: Anti-Unit (Self)
    Rank: B
    Range: 0
    Max. Target: 1 person

A set of dragon-soaked invincible armour which he had stolen from the giant Ecke after killing him. Because Berserker usually dons this armour from the moment of his summoning, seeing his true appearance is extremely hard. The armour possesses the same capabilities as hardened dragon-skin, making it an extremely hard-to-penetrate form of defense. With each enemy strike, the armour will deflect at least 70% of the enemy's full attack, ranking it down immensely and regenerating itself every few minutes.

In order to penetrate through it, the enemy would require an extremely potent attack - but at the same time, the more damaged the armour becomes by one weapon the more resistant it will become against it. In particular, it possesses absolute defense against attacks fiery in nature. Not even the dragon's breath can melt away this armour as it possesses 100% effectiveness against flame-based attacks.

There are, of course, weaknesses to such an invincible armour, on the other hand. If one does not have an attack power enough to get through the defenses of this armour it is only a matter of method taken to kill Berserker. That is, they could kill him the same way Berserker had killed it's original owner - which is through the gaps created in the armour. In particular, Berserker has three gaps in his armour. Two are located under his arm pits and the most useful one is located on the right side of his neck. So it is only a matter of closing in on Berserker and shoving one's blade into one of these gaps. Whether Berserker lets them do that is a different matter entirely, however...

    Nagelring
    Giant-Slaying Blade

    Type: Anti-Giant, Anti-Unit
    Rank: B
    Range: 1
    Max. Target: 1~2 people

The very first sword given to Berserker by Elbegast who had it stolen from the giant Grim. It is one of his primary Noble Phantasm that he chooses to dual wield with Eckesachs. It is a beautiful blade forged by Giants and meant to be used by them, but Berserker had turned it into something else entirely. Due to Berserker's actions with this blade - which is the slaying of many Giants with their own forged weapon - this blade has morphed into something different than what it's original creators had intended it to be. Having been coated with the blood of the Giants, the sword has morphed into somewhat of an effective Giant-killing blade.

When he summons it as a Noble Phantasm, this sword works as a potent poison against heroes who are connected to Giants. In particular, the stronger one's connections to Giants is, the more potent the poison of this blade becomes. Because of this, it would be the best anti-weapon against someone like Fionn Mac Cumhaill who anecdotes of being a giant in legend or perhaps against Darius III who was claimed to be a giant. Usually, it would be impossible to wield this blade by humans due to it's humongous and heavy nature - after-all it was forged for giants who's strongest is far above the level of measly humans. The very fact that Berserker can lift and wield the blade of the giants is proof of his strength.

Unlike his other blade, this sword does not have a sharp appearance. Rather it's a very blunt and heavy blade. As such it will be used by Berserker to smash anything in it's vicinity to pieces. The force of the blow becomes more heavier against Giants. Getting close to Dietrich would be a foolish idea because taking the full force of the blow by the blade of the giants is anything but bright and yet at the same time, due to his dragon breath he becomes incredibly hard to defeat even if you stay out of the blade's range - for he will breathe fire to make up for the lack of reach.

    Eckesachs
    Sharpest of the Swords

    Type: Anti-Army
    Rank: A
    Range: 1~10
    Max. Target: 50 people

The second sword possessed by Berserker in this class. It is the broad and twisted greatsword which is one of the two Noble Phantasms he stole as a trophy prize from the dead body of the giant Ecke whom he had killed in combat prior to that. An extremely powerful, but ugly sword that appears beastly in nature as if it were still alive - this is because the blade has been forged out of the blood of a Dragon by the dwarf Alberich. The sword is famed for its sharpness because it possesses such a sharp edge that merely lightly touching the edge of this blade could cut off a finger.

Along with blunt Nagelring, the extremely sharp Eckesachs has such sharpness in contrast that grants Berserker great advantage in battle due to his style of dual wielding them both at the same time. The sword works in quite a simple manner - by absoring mana of it's owner, it adjusts it inside of it and sends it out as an extremely thin and sharp line of magical energy at it's opponents - making it easy for Dietrich to cut down normal armour like butter. The range is however only a ~10 radius of space.

It is a sentient-type blade that learns and adjusts itself to the defenses of the enemy. For an example, once it clashes a powerful defense and fails at cutting through it the blade will gain +5 experience points in RPG terms and it's following attack will be sharper than the last with each strike - but at the same time, the sharper it is the more mana it absorbs out of it's owner. Fighting a defensive battle against Berserker is foolish because eventually his blade will become far too sharp for one's defenses to withstand.

    Der Teufel
    Demonic Horse-Deer

    Type: Anti-Army
    Rank: A+
    Range: 1~40
    Max. Target: 500 people

Berserker's strongest Noble Phantasm in this class, yet it is entirely unfitting. It is a demonic mount Noble Phantasm that would normally be summonable to Berserker only in the Rider class. That is, normally. A demonic horse... or deer? The real appearance of this mount is incomprehensible to anyone that sees it, only being able to perceive it as a massive four-legged monster covered entirely in shadows. Not even Berserker himself is aware of what it's true form is. And yet, the true identity of this mount should be known to all - it is the famed demon that rules over the underworld, commonly referred to as either simply the Devil or Satan. A manifestation of one of Berserker's possible ends in legend in which he was carried off by the Devil disguised as a demonic beast into the underworld.

As mentioned previously, this Noble Phantasm would normally be something Berserker gets under the Rider class, but because of the true nature of this mount it becomes impossible for Berserker to control it in any other class than the one in which he has reached the peak of his madness. Rather than the normal Riding skill, it is Mad Enhancement that is required to withstand the power of this beast. Once this Noble Phantasm has been manifested, Berserker will be treated as if his Riding skill were A+ rank to begin with - simply because the real control done here is by the Beast controlling it's owner, not the other way around. As a Noble Phantasm, it takes on an incomprehensible appearance that easily towers above other Phantasmal Beasts. Because it's nature is eerily similar to that of Angra Mainyu, curses hold absolutely zero power over it.

In fact, as long as this beast is summoned, it possesses such a disgusting aura that each of it's gallops will send a wave of grudges across a wide range in the area. Anyone who is hit by such a wave will feel an undeniable urge to attack anyone in their vicinity, slowly turning them more and more into their 'Alter' version the more one is in presence of this beast. At the same time, anyone who looks upon the incomprehensible appearance of this monster will have visions of the most painful death imaginable to them, forcing anyone who has poor resistance against mental interference to flee at the first sight of this beast.

Though it possesses immense power as a mount Noble Phantasm, it is also a fact that it is a very hard to upkeep Noble Phantasm - draining it's owner in a matter of seconds should their mana resources be rather poor. On the other hand, it also contains many weaknesses due to its nature. For an example, it possesses extremely poor compatibility in battle against heroes who are associated with Sainthood - such as Jeanne D'Arc or Saint Martha. Against such heroes, their powers of purification hold such superiority over the beast that it might as well be treated as a weak-class Noble Phantasm to them. Holy swords are no different in this regard. In short, it is granted +100 effectiveness against existences more similar to that of Angra Mainyu (Anti-Heroes), while it is also reduced by -100 effectiveness against heroes holy in nature. Under the Rider class, this mount would be sealed and instead what would replace it is Berserker's great and trustworthy horse Falke, the Never-Tiring Steed.

    Lore
Originally the Gothic king Theodoric the Great, he has been repainted by magnificent tales and reborn as the great beast-slaying hero Dietrich von Bern. A man that is featured in numerous great tales of Germanic folklore as either a protagonist or a supporting character - he is the hero that boasts more combat power than even the national hero Siegfried or the King of the Huns, Attila. Often described as a brave and rampaging beast slayer, he has become the subject of many heroic tales and interpretations.

Heroic Spirits are all great heroes who have accomplished numerous great feats in their name and have for their deeds been awarded by Noble Phantasms. Normally, such individuals - even at the highest grade - would usually have a maximum of around 3 to 5 Noble Phantasm crystallized as part of their legend, but Dietrich von Bern is a man that completely denies this rule. Due to the anecdotes of his legend, Dietrich had slew and pillaged the bodies of famous heroes across all the land, taking their Noble Phantasm as a trophy prize for himself. As such upon his crystallization as a Heroic Spirit, Dietrich is an individual who has 10's of Noble Phantasms at his disposal.

Additionally, though he is a subject of heroic tales, the truth is, however, that Dietrich's existence is one that holds a much darker undertone beneath his layer of a great hero. As a result of many envious minds and bitter interpretations of Dietrich's legends, he has come to be viewed as the son of the Devil. Normally, such statements would qualify him only for the personal skill Innocent Monster that distorts his heroic existence, but in truth... a number of Dietrich's legends end with him becoming a great demon taken by Satan to the underworld where he is forced to fight for all eternity as one of the strongest monsters of Hell. Because of this Dietrich's existence as a monster might not be so innocent after-all. The end result is that only a part of Dietrich has ascended to the Throne - and what happened to the remaining part of him, you ask? The completely accurate answer is unknown. He might have become a Huntsman of the Wild Hunt or perhaps this part of him is alive even to this day - immortalized as a Devil (the Sixth Imaginary Factor) that answers to the desires of humans even now.

    Personality
Having been summoned as a Berserker class Servant, he has lost his reason and the ability to display his emotion. Would he have been summoned as a Servant of any of the three Knight classes or as a Rider, Dietrich would have retained his brave personality coupled with his disposition as a clearly battle-hardened man who has a deep desire for battle. He is a kleptomaniac of sorts who cannot resist the arrogant urge of pillaging his enemy's fallen body to take their Noble Phantasm(s) as his prize trophy. Even as a Berserker, this horrible habit of his has not disappeared as he will likely be drawn by the beautiful appearance of his enemies' Noble Phantasm(s).

Even so, it would be entirely incorrect to call Dietrich a bad person. He is a man - that despise his bad habits - still holds a cleary brave and compassionate heart at his core - even if his calm and strict attitude does not reveal it on his face. Claimed to be an individual more brave than even Attila the Hun, Dietrich is a person who will never say no to adventure and he will use any means necessary to win his battle - entirely throwing away the concept of chivalrous pride and forcing his enemy into barbaric wrestle on every possible chance. In that regard, he could be said to be the same as Mordred even if his attitude is more similar to that of Siegfried.

Regardless of his barbaric nature, Dietrich will without a doubt shove clear respect to worthy enemies. Should the enemy be particularly respectable he might even enter large periods of mourning the enemy as a result of his deeds and furthermore, should the enemy ask of a dying wish Dietrich will show no restraint when it comes to fulfilling it. On the other hand, if the enemy he is dealing with is an individual with a traitorous or cowardly disposition Dietrich will show them no mercy and rip them apart on the first chance he gets, granting them no respect.

On that note, it is no secret that Dietrich von Bern is an easy person to anger. Despite the calm posture he usually takes on, beneath it Dietrich possesses such a short fuse and desire for battle that the contrast is almost comical. Angering the man would be a mistake done only by idiots given that he is infinitely more frightening when angered.

    Hildebrand:

Dietrich's dearest friend and mentor - Hildebrand is the woman who introduced young Dietrich to the joy of adventure. They share such a close bond that Hildebrand is the only one who can calm Dietrich during his outbursts of rage. Despite being the stronger one, Dietrich holds absolute respect for his older female mentor and grieves over causing her trouble many times due to his rampages. He often comes to her for advice and treasures her more than anything. You could say that his disposition in regards to Hildebrand is that of a jealous friend since he will be skeptical over any friend she makes and immediately enter bouts of fiery rage should something happen to her.

    Attila the Hun (Etzel)
    :

Having been exiled by his uncle, Dietrich and Attila became acquitted when Dietrich entered her court. He quickly distinguished himself as a champion warrior that was the single shining star of Attila's forces, leading victory for her army in a great number of battles. It didn't take a long while before they became good friends and entered competitions against opposing kingdoms together many times. Dietrich holds a good amount of respect for Attila because he owes her much and the same can be told of Attila herself. Despite being in the more powerful position, Attila is well aware of her inferiority to Dietrich in battle and views him as a senpai-type figure (though she herself does not call him senpai) that she aspires to be like. Having led a robotic life of war, her time with Dietrich could be said one of the few happy memories she contains even if she herself is not aware of it.

    Siegfried:

As a champion at Attila's court, Dietrich often came into clash with the great hero Siegfried. They fought many times so the concluding result is undoubted - Dietrich boasts such power that Siegfried had lost many times due to a clear gap of firepower. Their dispositions are very similar and yet Siegfried does not get along with Dietrich whatsoever. This is because, according to Siegfried himself, Dietrich possess such a temper and underlying violent attitude that even Siegfried finds it hard to deal with the man... or he might have just been traumatized from almost being burned to a crisp by Dietrich in one of their battles. Had it not been for Hildebrand calming Dietrich, he would have likely died that day.

    Tactics/Powerlevel
When it comes to close quarter combat, Berserker is invincible. That much is clear. In order to match someone of his level, you'd require a Servant at the level of Karna from Mahabharata. A Master that summons this particular Berserker and is unable to acquire a win could be considered the absolute failure of a Master - but at the same time, in order to fuel a Berserker such as this one the Master would have to be a competent one with powerful Magic Circuits in the first place. Berserker boasts such prowess that not even the Knights of the Round Table can defeat him. It would be no mistake to say that he could quite possibly match the 6 remaining Servants by himself at the same time.

In terms of clear firepower, even putting his immense physical stats aside, Berserker's dragon-breath is of such quality that i can even surpass the nigh-invincible defense of Siegfried's Armour of Fafnir - having almost burned him to a crisp during one of their battles. With his Noble Phantasms and fiery breath, he is the ultimate combat Servant. And yet, this Berserker is so ridiculous that he possesses great advantage even in long-ranged battle with his demonic steed.

As far tactics go, the Master would only need to direct Berserker's rampages in the right direction and put them to utmost usage - all while staying out of Berserker's sight because only Hildebrand could hope to calm his mind in this state. Berserker will take care of the rest - such is his battle prowess. The only realistic way of defeating Berserker would be summoning another hero of such great renown and fire-power. Or perhaps the opposing Masters could ally themselves together and set up the conditions of battle in such a manner that Berserker's defeat becomes possible. In any case, he will be the clear top-dog of any Holy Grail War he is summoned into as long as another ridiculous hero is not summoned alongside him.

He's op but the legend was already super hype so I think it's probably deserved. In any case, the sheet is top-notch, not that that is even really surprising for you. All the Noble Phantasms and skills are super interesting and great takes on the myth, but man that devil mount is on a whole other level. Seriously I think that may be one of my favorite ideas from you, yet.

As an unrelated note, it might be interesting to see a take on Henry IV as a Servant. You could draw from actual history as well as Voltaire's Aenead fanfic "La Henraide." I'm hardly an expert but I think that might be cool.

One more class, and the circle will be complete. Oh, and I updated my Ritsuka Fujimaru Pseudo-Servant sheet if anyone wants a view.
    Faceclaim

    Class: Berserker
    True Name: King Arthur (Lion)
    Alignment: Lawful Lion
    Attribute: Earth

    STR: A+
    END: C
    AGI: B
    MGI: A
    LCK: B
    NP: A++

    Keywords

    King of the Jungle
The lion, lord of all land beasts. Due to their majestic appearance and habits, many rulers compared themselves to lions, or maybe even taking lions as personal symbols. King Richard, called "the Lionheart", and, strangely, Thomas Edison were such persons. Of course, King Arthur was not exempt to this comparison. For this reason, this Artoria summoned through freak circumstances takes to the throne as the Lion King who presides over the grandest feasts in Camelot. As the king must be the foremost example of the virtues of his subjects, Arthur's appetite is unmatched in the Kingdom of Britain.

    Mad Enhancement
A skill that bestows upon the possessor great power in exchange for sanity. The higher the rank, the more power is obtained in exchange for communication abilities. A class skill that points to the mad warriors of the Berserker class. In Artoria's case, the maddening is only due to hunger. However, it is the sort of hunger that does not go away with even a snack or a single meal. No, for this Lion King (Jungle) to be satisfied, she must eat six
    Servants
    full-course meals
    and down a
    Holy Grail
    cupful of wine
    in order to be satisfied.

    Skills:
    Magic Resistance: A
Ability that grants protection against magical effects. Cancel spells of A-Rank or below, no matter what high-thaumaturgy it is. In practice, the Servant is untouchable to modern magi, so it would not be an exaggeration to title the Servant a "Magus Killer". Despite the maddening hunger experienced by Artoria in the Berserker class, she remains unaffected by most magecraft.

    Mad Enhancement: C
Ability that raises basic parameters in exchange for hindering mental capacities. Rank up for all parameters except Luck and Mana, but in exchange one can no longer think and speak properly. Rather than rage, bloodlust, or anything of the sort, it is theorized that a feeling of perpetual hunger causes Berserker to go wild.

    Lion Punch: B
Lion punch is wild power. More properly titled Monstrous Strength, it raises Berserker's STR parameter due to awakening a primal instinct.

    Lion Roar: D
Lion roar is scary power. More properly named Charisma, the rank is lower than that of the original Artoria due to maddening. It now only works on animals, unfortunately.

    Lion Blast: A
Lion blast is boom-boom power. More aptly called Mana Burst, it seems the core of the dragon embedded in King Arthur's Magic Circuits remains unchanged, despite becoming a lion.

    Noble Phantasm

    Excaliburger
    Shank of Mouthwatering Victory

    Rank: A++
    Type: Anti-Fortress
    Range: 1-99
    Max targets: 1000 people

It is the strongest and most majestic holy sword that symbolizes King Arthur. The pinnacle of holy swords. Excalibur was not forged by mankind, but crystallized within the Earth, using the wishes of mankind as the basis. It is one of the ultimate God-forged weapons, a Last Phantasm. Originally cared for by the Faeries of the Planet, it was passed into the hands of King Arthur through the Lady of the Lake.

Even while being maddened by hunger, the majesty and unfathomable destructive power the holy sword wields remains constant. There might have been a slight change in the name, but that is just due to Berserker thinking about food again.

    Lore

    Likes: Good food, prey
Dislikes: Bad food, prey that fight back
    Talent: Hunting
Natural Enemy: The royal cook, zoophiles

Berserker is King Arthur of Camelot, maddened by certain circumstances and placed in the Berserker class. The Artoria manifested in the Berserker class has been maddened by hunger, likely the work of a certain prankster mage. In any case, most of Artoria's reasoning has been stripped in the Berserker class, so she mostly behaves like an animal: a lion, to be exact. While it cannot be glimpsed due to the Servant's animalistic behavior, Berserker wishes for the cure for the hunger placed on her. If the Master takes care and strictly adheres to her scheduled feeding times, they might make it out of the Holy Grail War alive. No guarantees on whether they will be in possession of all their limbs, but alive, nonetheless.

Inspired by a sign for a cafe offering an "Excaliburger", which was a large hamburger (I assume) with a steak knife impaled in the middle. This is a meme Servant, feel free to not take this seriously.

your desire to change and try to make that character "better" it's pretty commendable
I liked 'Planting Trees' as a skill and bits of 'Planting Humans'.

It was worth something, though her sword technique is about harmonizing with yourself, the Yin and Yang, good and evil, whatever, and then using that to essentially become one with your sword (or whatever weapon you're using). "Graceful, but ferocious as a tiger" is how she's described when she fights. Basically she paved the way for all the outrageous moves you see in martial arts movies when two people duel where weapons are involved, or when one dude with a piece of bamboo just non-nonchalantly beats up a bunch of other dudes. When I think of her technique, two things come to mind: this video of classical chinese sword dancing (what her technique was and ultimately became) and this scene from Moribito: Guardian of the Spirit (which was influenced by more eastern Asian cultures).

I suppose the warlords at the time took only the 'ferocious tiger' bit from her technique and applied it to their armies, thus leading to more of them being comprised of foot-soldiers, archers, and cavalry in the Warring States Period.

Well, you got me to think on it more, so kudos. It also reminded me she can be put into the Lancer-class as well.

And yes the current faceclaim is also my favourite. I am going to keep it. The reason behind that is because she dressed sensibly, and liked green (and I'm assuming other colors most commonly associated with nature, forests, etc).

Well, i'm glad it helped a bit.

I've had a few more ideas. They are REAL dumb ones. It's using the same three-part super skill "system". The first two parts don't really change

Planting Seeds - yadda yadda, the representation of Yuenü mastery over external martial arts, and the superficial proof as the Heaven's First Sword. Eternal Arms Mastership skill. Becoming one with the Weapon

Growing Trees - yadda yadda, the representation of Yuenü mastery over internal martial arts, and the proof of her understanding of the Yin & Yang, becoming one with nature and yadda yadda. Sphere Boundary skill. Becoming One with the Weapon

Now heres the real dumb part

Sword of the Southern Forest - Teaching Man - yadda yadda, confucius say:teaching humans is pretty good long term plan. The crystalization of all that is Yuenü, the boundless forest that from where all of Heaven's Technique come from, and the peak that all other masters strive to be. "China's First Sword" and Master of the Wudang sword Li Jing Li once said: "The essence of practicing sword lies in moving your body like a swimming dragon. There should be no pauses. After for a long time, your body will fuse with your sword and the sword will fuse with yoru spirit. The integration is seamless". This is the ideal that many have strived for. Be it Bajiquan, Tajiquan, Wudang Sword or Xingyiquan, these are the fruits left by the Lady of the Forest. But this is but a glimpse of her knowledge, left behind for all China to see. Her true form, the ultimate skill of the first technique, it's also the crystallization of her legacy: To meld her blade with all under heaven. In layman terms her trump card has long surpassed the realm of mere skill and has became something close to a Reality Marble, though achievable not by magecraft, but pure method of swordmanship: This is the Tiger's Forest that has taught Mankind. When she utilizes it, she informs her opponent in a cautionary tone: "It seems, i have to become a Tiger" and so the ultimate dance of death begins. combining the two first parts of her Sword of the Southern Forest skil, Her Mastery over the External Martial Arts, her supreme sword technique, and her Internal Martial Arts, fusing her self with Nature, she is able to create a small world where everything and anything is her blade. The grass, the earth, the sand and even the wind become her weapon in a literal dimension made of slashing, cutting and thrusting, that ravishes everything inside it indiscriminately, much like a Tiger protecting it's den. This was the world that she shared with all under the heaven, the legacy of blades that alongside one's hairy monk routine exercises became roots of the complex and complete system that is Chinese Martial Arts.
    Rank EX - Anti World

wew, i had this idea when i remembered Rejected Koha-Ace's Sun Wukong had a Dimension of Tsubame Gaeshi and stole that idea.
It's really dumb, really wanked and i wouldn't be surprised if you didn't like it, but hey after writing those skills i had these ideas in my head and decided to share

For this sheet my goal was to make a Qin Shi Huang with more nps than just the generic terracotta army and great wall. I feel a bit conflicted with my opinion on this sheet overall but I decided to just post it anyways.
    ---------------------

    Face Claim

    Servant: Caster
    Alternate Classes: Shielder
    True Name: Qin Shi Huang
    Alignment: Lawful Evil
    Place of Origin: China

    Strength: B
    Endurance: C
    Agility: C+
    Mana: B+
    Luck: C
    NP: A++

    Lore:
Emperor of the first unified state of China. From an early age he was King of the state of Qin. During his lifetime, he conquered all the seven warring and diverging states becoming the first person to unify China. He took the title Emperor of the Qin dynasty and shaped the history of modern China. Qin Shi Huang used his power and influence to standardize Chinese customs, teachings, and political practices. He was ruthless in dealing with opposition, burning books and executing scholars who opposed his centralization. Qin Shi Huang is credited with unifying fragmented walls in northern China to complete the Great Wall of China. Fixated by his own immortality, during his lifetime he ordered the building of a city sized mausoleum, guarded by a life size Terracotta army.

    Personality:
A cruel despot with a level of arrogance that could rival Gilgamesh’s own ego. Caster is a very ambitious man that has been obsessed with one goal from a young age to the point that near the end of his life he started going mad in pursuit of his wish, but it was this pursuit of his dream that ended up killing him. It is because of his obsession that Caster views the lives of all other humans expendable as long they can get him to his goal.

    Likes: Himself, living forever
    Dislikes: Death
    Talent: building great works,
    Natural Enemy: Jing Ke, Gilgamesh

    Equipment:
A collection of magic items and tomes Caster got from the mages he executed during his life as and magic items he got from his meeting with the immortal wizard Anqi Sheng, which are his most powerful.

    Class Skills:

    Territory Creation (B)
The skill to build a special terrain that is advantageous to oneself as a magus, but caster will lose some magical benefits in favor of defensive ones. A claimed area will gain a number of defensive buffs like magical reinforcements of walls and will begin to transform into an area suited for the defensive tactics used during Casters reign (The actual terrain will begin to change if necessary). The claimed area can be expanded slowly outward and other territories claimed under Territory Creation can be conquered by Caster. This skill will increase another rank if summoned in the shielder class.

    Item Construction (C+)
The skill to manufacture magical items. This skill can only be used by Caster to create more Terracotta Warriors.

    Wonder Construction (A+)
A skill only available in China that replaces Item Construction. A skill for people has created numerous wondrous constructs. Qin Shi Huang has created a very large number of grand constructs some of which are famous worldwide. Others include the supposed hundreds of palaces he constructed the most famous of them being E-pang palace and his many infrastructure projects like the Lingqu canal which is considered one of the three great feats of ancient Chinese engineering. Upon the activation of this skill workers can be summoned back from the dead in the thousands in order to construct monuments in Qin Shi Huang honor that are on a similar level or a level equal to a Noble Phantasm but the rank is low and in the length of a Holy Grail not many would be able to be constructed.

    Personal Skills:
Unification of the Realms of Man and Spirits: (A)
A skill that absorbs Casters Charisma skill which stands at the rank of B-. An incarnation of Casters belief that he had successfully unified both the universe of spirits and the earthly states, this skill increases the abilities of allies not through force of personality or charm but by forcefully unifying the minds of the affected. This skill basically works as trying to make a group of people into one person. This skill makes allies more uniform and allowing them to be in sync on the battlefield. If affected by this skill for long enough it will begin to become almost like a curse reaching the point that allies are so in tune, words are no longer necessary to coordinate attacks but it begins to reach a point that the level of similarity becomes a flaw as there exist no outside ways of thinking. Things like personality will start to become more and more similar as time goes on as well.

    Knowledge Burner: (B)
A skill made from Casters fame of burning books. This skill allows for the summoning of a magical fire that doesn’t burn flesh but rather it “burns away” knowledge. The knowledge that is first to go is usually knowledge pertaining to the grail war. Caster can use this to help hide his identity. The burned can end up losing some of the knowledge they got from the grail, the name of their Noble Phantasm, incantations for spells and the like. Its downsides is that it takes time to burn away knowledge and is not too hard to dodge or escape.

    Military Tactics: (C)
Tactical knowledge used not for one-on-one combat situations, but for battles where many are mobilized. Bonus modifiers are provided during use of one's own Anti-Army Noble Phantasm or when dealing against an enemy Anti-Army Noble Phantasm. Caster was able to annex six other independent kingdoms with his mastery of new military strategies.

    False Reign: (B)
When Caster died in order avoid an uprising no one told the people of their emperor’s death so everyone thought he was still alive. When Caster is dealt a fatal wound his corpse will still fight on but it is weaker than his living self. His corpse will fight until about thirty minutes pass or his body is completely destroyed.

    Noble Phantasms:
    Spoiler:
    Terracotta Army
    The Army of Stone

    Type: Anti Army
    Rank: A
    Number of Targets: 9000

The Terracotta warriors is an army of about 9000 stone soldiers created by Qin Shi Huang to protect him in the afterlife. The Terracotta warriors can be freely summoned. Each warrior does not need that much mana, but entire army requires a lot so all of them will only be summoned when they are needed. Using his Item construction skill Qin Shi Huang can craft more terracotta warriors. Terracotta warriors exist as golems that have been possessed by the souls of the people they were based on, though they now exist as an empty shell of who they formally were. The actual strengths of each individual warrior will vary but overall they fail to match the strength of something like the soldiers in Iskandar’s Ionioi Hetairoi as the warriors are close to the level of servants but have not completely reached that level. The advantage the Terracotta warriors have against enemy servants is the force of sheer numbers and the fact that, unlike Ionioi Hetairoi, the Terracotta warriors exist outside a reality marble allowing for more versatile uses. The Terracotta warriors also follow the class system giving many of them access to low level class skills. With the use of the skill Unification of the Realms of Man a Spirits the Terracotta army will become so in sync they become a hive mind as most of them are already so similar and they lack any personality.

    E-pang Palace
    The First Palace Under Heaven

    Type: Anti unit
    Rank: A++
    Number of Targets: 1

The E-pang Palace is the most famous and the grandest palace to be constructed by Qin Shi Huang. E-pang palace stands as a representation of all the dreams and other worldly aspirations of the first emperor. The palace itself was never finished due to its grand scale and so this Noble Phantasm does not exist as the true palace itself but its representation of the failed dreams of Qin Shi Huang. E-pang Palace exists as a reality marble within the dreams of Qin Shi Huang. Reality marbles are only normally materialized by talented magi and things beyond normal understanding like demons, but like Iskandar, this reality marble can come into existence through a combined effort of others, in this case E-pang Palace is created from the lives lost in an attempt to achieve the grand desires of Qin Shi Huang. Because of this fact, the reality marble will also begin to absorb the dreams of others.
This reality marble can only activated when Qin Shi Huang sleeps as the reality marble only exists as a literal dream. Qin Shi Huang does not choose who to challenge as the reality marble will just absorb spiritual entities in his area into it randomly or if any servant chooses to sleep while he is also sleeping they will also end up in the reality marble. The Palace was to be considered the dwelling of the Supreme Being and so the “dream version” of Qin Shi Huang inside of it exists on a level like the idea of the immortal divine spirit he wishes to be. Qin Shi Huang stats will all increase to at least A and he will gain two new skills. Qin Shi Huang will gain Divinity at Rank A and Battle Continuation at rank A+. With the reality marbles existence as a dream the world within the reality marble can bend to Qin Shi Huang will but enemy servants in it can also have access to this ability as it is not actually reality but they control it to a lesser extent. But at the end of the day a dream is still a dream and so whenever Qin Shi Huang awakes the reality marble will disappear until the next time he sleeps. Any Noble Phantasms or skills that have some ability to reveal truth will dispel the reality marble. The biggest weakness of the reality marble is the fact that his still sleeping body exists outside the reality marble leaving him open to an attack.

    The Meteor of Dōngjùn
    The Stone that Bends Fate

    Type: Anti unit
    Rank: C
    Number of Targets: 1
A Meteor fell in Dōngjùn that foretold of the Emperors demise. The emperor would not allow anyone or anything to tell him he would die so he executed everyone in the area and gave an order for the Meteor to be destroyed. When he touched the stone he was given its curse. Servants that touch the stone will be given the same curse which will attempt to bring about a failure of a servants goal. Qin Shi Huang only goal at that point was to live forever so the curse foretold his death. The curse will attempt to do this by reversing the effect of one’s luck stat. servants with an exceptionally high luck stat will become exceptionally unlucky but servants with low luck will not change very much. The curse will stay until the affected experiences a failure of a goal. The curse can be negated with skills or Noble Phantasms that have curse removal/blocking abilities. The curse can also be removed if the stone is destroyed. The downsides is that the curse will also affect Qin Shi Huang. Because the curse can be canceled by the failure of any goal it must be used carefully, if he even wants to use it at all.

Huang: Pretty interesting overall, and nicely different from the other sheets of this guy I've seen around. His Personal Skills are quite creative and well thought-out, though I think Wonder Creation could honestly just be subsumed under Territory Creation (with a reference to being boosted if he's summoned in China) since they're both about 'building monuments'.

Regarding his NPs... Terracotta Army is pretty much obligatory for any Huang sheet and the meteor is interesting, albeit a bit weird, but E-pang Palace is my favorite by far. The concept of a Reality Marble which literally drags you into the Servant's dream is something I've never seen before, and fits the lore behind it quite well. The only problem I can think of is that I'm not entirely sure if Servants actually sleep at all. If they can, they don't need to so that NP would probably be unlikely to be of much use in most Grail Wars (Saber may've been an exception because of how she was summoned and also Shirou insisting that she act like a regular human girl). It'd still be useful as heck in pulling in the souls of Masters, though. Reminds me a bit of the Death 13 dream world thing from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. I presume the old "die in the dream, die in real life," adage holds true here?

Yes the if you die in the dream you die for real holds true. The whole sleeping thing was something I was unsure about as well because the only servant I knew that could sleep was Saber so I added the ability to pull servants in just in case.

Now that I think about it, it's actually very powerful since he could pull Masters away from their Servants and pick them off in the dream.

Though, if the Master somehow manages to escape the first time they'd be able to get their Servant to go to sleep at the same time and tag along with them in the dream world (presuming Servants can sleep and just normally choose not to).

Regarding power levels, well fundamentally measurement by those alone isn't the best but the dude isn't on the level of Karna (as the dude is comparable to Gil). Regarding his fight with Siegfried, they were even at first then Siegfried got the upperhand because of his vulnerabilities and Dietrich arguably only won because he started breathing fire. Then again as a Berserker he'd probably have that edge over Siegfried. Definitely 5* Material though.

Also Kreimhild was the one who stopped the fight, I made the same mistake.

We also gave rather different relationships with Altera (completely opposite actually with her as the senpai in my case and him as a reverse-tsundere). I wouldn't say Dietrich is stronger than her considering things Extella reveal about her. Though definitely comparable.

An EX rank Anti-World reality marble Tsubame Gaeshi? No. She ain't about that life.

Anyway, the equally dumb idea I came up with was:

Behind The Door, Is Neither Human Nor Tiger (EX, Self / Anti-Personnel): When faced with an opponent she has no hope of defeating and close to death or in order to save the life of her Master, Saber is able to channel all of her remaining mana to encase her sword in a barrier which amplifies her parameters to extraordinary levels for one, final burst. Those who try to dissipate the barrier cannot break it, as the speed at which it cyclones around Saber's body is so lethal it seems to bend and shape the world itself. A pseudo-Marble Phantasm, behind the dance of her sword is the manifestation of a tiger in all its ferocity. By surrendering herself to the beast in her heart, Saber becomes a force of nature obliterating all in her path at the cost of her own life.

I probably got Marble Phantasm wrong. So it might be a Reality Marble. Or maybe neither. I dunno.

The only thought in my head was that it should be something strong enough to negate / tank Gilgamesh's Ea or Arturia's Excalibur for a very short period with the highest cost possible.

A Marble Phantasm is an Elemental Spirit's authority to call upon natural phenomenon, so I'm not quite sure if that's what you have in mind.

It does more like Reality Marble-esque IMO, albeit a weird Reality Marble crystallized into the form of a sword ala Jeanne's La Pucelle.

Was actually thinking he's more Achilles-level strong than Karna. I wrote it as ''Karna/Achilles level'' because iirc Apocrypha states Achilles is on Karna's level, though I myself think Karna would smack Achilles in a fight but that's because I'm kind of biased towards Karna. Anyway you're right about the Dietrich vs Siegfried fight, Dietrich only smacked Siegfried because he got super angry and went dragon mode on Siegfried which is why I tried incorporating that bit in EAM by saying Dietrich is stronger the angrier he is. Your sheet is definitely less crazy in powerlevel than my wanked one lol.

Oh wow, Kriemhild was the one who stopped the fight? Guess that's a common mistake then? Because the versions I've read of his legend had Hildebrand as the one who stopped the fight. In any case, that's interesting to know. I actually have to get around to writing up my version of Kriemhild too, since she's one of the three main Servants my friends and I picked for a HGW fic we're doing. Got everything decided in terms of Servants, but we might swap out Vortigern with Dietrich for that Dietrich-Kriemhild connection.

As for Attila, I was actually referring to Earth!Attila. As in Attila the Hun that doesn't go Sefar mode and just has her abilities from GO. Don't think that one is as strong as the one that appears in Extella (though I could be very wrong) because the later has Sefar awakened, no?

That's fair, I nearly gave him over five Noble Phantasms but realised that idea was Bad.

Gally was the one who corrected me on that, I was thinking of doing a Kriemhild sheet but I already have lots of ideas that I wanna make. I need to learn how to prioritise better.

I'm waiting till the English version comes out this month has I can't read Japanese but I don't know if our favourite Hun faced much opposition aside from her one loss against Rome.

Then again I could be wrong

    Class: Shielder
    Alignment: Chaotic Good
    Origin: Historical
    Region: Ireland

    Parameters
    Strength: B
    Endurance: B
    Agility: C
    Mana: C
    Luck: D
    NP: A

    Height/Weight:
    Gender: Male
    Likes: Deirdre, Fergus, Cu Chulainn
    Dislikes: Naoise, Fergus, Aillil, Cet
    Talents: Mama’s boy
    Natural enemy: Medb
    Attribute: Water
    Traits: Human, Male
Armament: One gold-hilted sword with a green-blue blade, a purple and gold shield, and two small grey spears

    Class Skills:

    Magic Resistance: (C)
Magic Resistance grants protection against magical effects. Differently from the Resistance effect that merely rejects Magical Energy, this ability cancels the spells altogether.
At this rank, Shielder may cancel spells with a chant below two verses. Cannot defend against Magecraft on the level of High-Thaumaturgy and Greater Rituals.
Though raised by the druid Cathbad and taught to fight and defend against both magical and non-magical onslaughts, Shielder himself had little aptitude for making use of Magecraft, nor was he ever in possession of such device that would increase his rank in this skill.

    Riding: (A)
Riding, the Class Skill of Rider and Saber, is the ability to ride mounts. Rider-class Servants will typically possess a high rank, and A-rank can allow for Phantasmal Beasts and Divine Beasts to be mounted. It is said that dragon type mounts are an exception, requiring a different ability other than Riding.
A famed charioteer and candidate for the Rider class as well, Shielder can handle most any steed he should come across with absolute ease. His legendary bull which sparked the most famous of the Ulster Cycle conflicts was a Phantasmal Beast itself, its potency and wealth displayed primarily in its enormous size and horns made entirely of gold. A part of his life that is inextricable from his legend, Shielder will possess a high Riding rank in whatever class he should be summoned in.

    Self-Field Defense: (C)
Self-Field Defense is a Shielder-class servant Class Skill. A power displayed when protecting allies or an allied camp. Exhibits damage reduction surpassing the defensive limit value, but Shielder himself is not included as a target. Also, the higher the Rank, the more protective range spreads.
Though usually only governing a small force when in battle himself, and often viewed in modernity as a coward, the legendary hero Fergus mac Roich himself vouches that there is no warrior quite like Shielder. Whether this is an empty nicety or a hint at Shielder’s mysterious teenage years cannot be said unless Shielder is asked about it. Damage ranking B or above is reduced somewhat when targeted at Shielder’s allies.

    Personal Skills:

    Protection of Mother: (B)
A Skill derived from a Servant’s dependence and success while relying on the power of a female, specifically one’s mother. In life, Shielder would have been nothing without the power of his mother. Putting off labor for an entire day so that Shielder’s birthday would coincide with the same as Jesus Christ, she would later only consent to marry the great Fergus mac Roich if he let Shielder be king for a year. This way, Shielder’s descendants would be eligible for the throne. But because of the craftiness of Shielder’s mother--advising Shielder on who to distribute wealth and land to and who to punish--the Ulstermen didn’t want Fergus taking position once the year was over. Later on in his reign, Shielder’s mother took control of his life yet again when they had a child by incest, the hero Cormac Cond Longas.

As a Skill, Protection of Mother only manifests when summoned by a female Master. A utility Skill that seems detrimental at first, the most obvious first effect being that Shielder consumes more mana when under a female. While this is more stressful on the Master, it guarantees that Shielder will be operating at full capacity continuously, buffing his Self-Field Defense Skill to A. However, the effects it has on his body are...strange. Ascribing a low rank Rosy-Cheeked Adonis and Mental Pollution, Shielder becomes the perfect docile boy for any mother to handle, which doesn’t necessarily translate well to combat applications. When like this, all defenses are treated as rank down when attacked by a female “older” than him.

    Precognition: (A)
A form of future sight possessed by Druids, refined through prophecies and other visions. Remarked by Roman scholar Diodorus Siculus that:
“These men predict the future by observing the flight and calls of birds and by the sacrifice of holy animals: all orders of society are in their power... and in very important matters they prepare a human victim, plunging a dagger into his chest; by observing the way his limbs convulse as he falls and the gushing of his blood, they are able to read the future."

Shielder, in possession of Druidic blood by his father Cathbad, is able to perceive future events by observing the nature of the World. Mystical patterns are seen in any event--ones that would look completely disconnected to an outside observer--and transcribed as events that Shielder can act on instantaneously in his mind. An expansion of Instinct and Clairvoyance, as it’s continuously active even outside of battle.

    Faeries Wrath: (B)
Once, there was a man named Cruinniuc who was a subject of Shielder. After the man’s first wife died, another woman by the name of Macha appeared in his house and acted as his wife. A living symbol of great luck, with Macha around Cruinniuc would seem only to grow wealthier, and he wished to share stories of his good fortune. At a festival organized by Shielder, Cruinniuc drunkenly stated that his wife was faster than the chariots that were presently racing--breaking Macha’s only request of her husband. Shielder, curious to see this lightning-woman in action, called for her to race against his finest horses. The only problem was that Mach was heavily pregnant. But she did so anyway, outracing the horses and giving birth to twins on the finish line.

It was at this point that Macha revealed herself to be the goddess of the same name (usually also considered one third of the Morrigan), and cursed Shielder and his men to suffer her pains of labor during their most dire hour. Remembering the words of their senior, the spirits still slumbering in the land will randomly raze themselves akin to the effects of Faeries Maddening, affecting a rank down in both Strength and Endurance to Shielder. However, because of the broad nature of Macha’s curse, Faeries Wrath also affects nearby Servants. A Weak Constitution Skill that can be shared with everyone!

Beleaguered Defender of the State: (C)
A modified version of Demonic Defender of the State, which is the capacity of a Servant to mark a region as his personal dominion by securing the surrounding leylines prior to an engagement. After the Cattle Raid of Cooley, Shielder fell horribly ill, blaming it on the destruction of Ulster at the hands of Medb and Ailill. When asked by his men what could possibly make him feel better, Shielder declared he would never be satisfied until he could pitch his tent anywhere in Ireland. Being the High King, his men agree that this shouldn’t be too to ask, and want to know where Shielder would like to pitch his tent that night. He chooses Ros na Rig (next to yet another river). The battle was almost lost until Shielder’s second most famous champion took the field, frightening the Ulstermen into not retreating.

Shielder’s ability permits the reinforcement of his combat capabilities when fighting in his territory, gaining a combat boost equivalent to a C rank stat multiplier. However, he’ll become standoffish and paranoid when making use of this Skill, almost as if someone is still watching over his shoulder…
Should a Caster or such Class with capable abilities destroy or steal the leylines away from Shielder, he’ll go into a form of shock that lasts a week.

    Noble Phantasm

    Ochain
    Fair-Eared King of Shields

    Type: Barrier/Anti-Ocean
    Rank: A+
    Range: 1
    Max Target: 1-10

Shielder’s equipment of choice. A great round shield, colored purple with images of birds and animals sprinkled throughout, with four gold corners and four red-gold coverings. Unbreakable, Shielder was able to defend against three full-power strikes from Fergus by Caladbolg, the shield never cracking nor even budging any closer to Shielder from the spiral sword’s monstrous force. While the shield may have been unstoppable, the man behind it was exhausted from the ordeal. Shielder’s estranged son was the only one who saved Ochain’s honor, as a shield should never be bathed in the blood of its bearer by definition.

During this episode at the climax of the Cattle Raid of Cooley, Ochain uttered a loud groan every time it was struck with Caladbolg, and every shield in Ulster responded in kind. More than that, the great Three Waves of Erin also responded to Shielder and Ochain’s plight, broiling the sea in rage and sorrow that the High King should be attacked so. These same three great waves (Tonn Cliodhna, Tonn Ruaidri, Tonn Tuage) are said to be goddesses of the sea and love, daughters to the sea lord Manannan.

An incredibly hardy shield in its own right while dormant; surviving against three point-blank attacks from an A+ level Noble Phantasm, and probably one of the strongest sword Noble Phantasms out there, Ochain’s true power is released when called upon. Hearing the groans of Ochain again after so long, the goddesses rush to send their power to defend their beloved king. All moisture in the area and beyond is drawn to Shielder’s aid, forming a deep dome of water around Shielder and his allies.

The name Ochain is the Irish variant of Okeanus, or the ancient name for a personified world’s ocean. Thus it can be said that Ochain carries the “heart” of the ocean inside it, which is displayed further when the goddesses’s dome of water forms. While it may only look like the water is a few feet in thickness at most, Ochain’s dome is a conceptual barrier that borders on the power of a Reality Marble. As the dome is representative of all the world’s oceans, only a Noble Phantasm with the power to affect such a great expanse--such as Anti-World or a particularly strong Anti-Country--may even begin to harm Shielder’s shield.

    Nochtadh Mesgrega
O Christ, the World will Weep for You

    Type: Suicide
    Rank: EX
    Range: 50
    Max Target: 1-10

Shielder’s Master may have noticed that above Shielder’s right eyebrow is a long, pale scar that extends up his forehead. The scar contains Shielder’s secret weapon, sealed beneath the flesh of his head. During one their previous battles, the hero Conall had taken the brain of the king Mesgrega, and preserved it by soaking it in lime. A grand treasure back in the day when scooping the brains out of one’s enemies wasn’t frowned upon, the brain was inevitably stolen by the Connacht villain Cet mac Magach and flung at Shielder’s head with such force that it proved impossible to remove without killing him. His doctors and druids doing everything in their power to save him, it was decided instead that the brain would be hermetically sealed and Shielder would just have to get on with it.

Seven days later, Shielder was informed about the death of Christ. His sorrow was so great that the brain (which had fused with Shielder’s own flesh by this point) ruptured, the spilled blood baptizing him just as it killed him. When summoned, Shielder still possesses the brain buried under his forehead, a waiting time bomb to avenge his death. It seems that when Cathbad and the other druids sealed Mesgrega’s brain into Shielder, they also encapsulated a fair amount of Age of Gods magic. The space the brain occupies is actually a bounded field carrying the true environment of the Age of Gods independant from Shielder’s manifestation.

Once Shielder is killed, the scar on his forehead bursts open, creating a “snap” effect between the modern age and the Age of Gods. In essence, the “bubble” bursting between the two realities twists all surrounded magic into the scar. Like the principle of heat rising, or differences in pressure between two surfaces causing rupture, the more potent and magic-heavy Age of Gods vacuums up all surrounding magic as he dies. While the [snap] isn’t strong enough to completely erase a Servant from existence; leylines, magi, other lesser familiars, and Noble Phantasms will be rendered completely useless for a short time. A final parting shot from Shielder to his enemy and gift to his Master, this is meant only as a diversion for the Master to flee safely upon his defeat.

    Lore

Conchobar mac Nessa was the king of Ulster in the Ulster Cycle of Irish mythology. He ruled from Emain Macha. He is said to be the son of Cathbad the druid (or Fachtna Fáthach, of the Ulaid), although unusually his descent references his mother, Ness, daughter of Eochaid Sálbuide, king of Ulster.

The stepson of Fegus mac Roich and uncle to Cu Chulainn and Conall Cernach through his two sisters, Conchobar is known mostly as the one who gave Cu Chulainn his arms as a boy and made increasingly poor decisions up to and past the Cattle Raid of Cooley.

There are several versions of how Conchobar was conceived. However the truth of the matter is that Ness, daughter of Eochaid Sálbuide, the then king of Ulster, is brought up by twelve foster-fathers, and while all twelve are at a feast, Cathbad, leading a fian, attacks the house and kills them all. Eochaid is unable to avenge them as the culprit cannot be identified, so Ness forms her own fian to hunt Cathbad down. But while she is bathing alone in a pool, Cathbad appears, stands between her and her weapons, and bares his sword. He spares her life on the condition that she becomes his wife. They settle near a river called Conchobar, and Ness soon conceives a son. As she and Cathbad set out to visit Fachtna, Ness goes into labour. Cathbad tells her if she can manage not to give birth until the following day, her son will be a great king and have everlasting fame, for he will be born on the same day as Jesus Christ. Ness sits on a flagstone by the river Conchobar, and the following morning gives birth. The baby falls into the river, but Cathbad lifts him out, names him Conchobar after the river, and brings him up as his own son.

By the time Conchobar is seven, Fergus mac Róich is king of Ulster, and falls in love with Ness. She agrees to become his wife, on one condition: that Fergus allows Conchobar to be king for a year, so his children will be called the sons of a king (under Medieval Irish law inheritance passed through the male line, and only those who had a king as a male-line ancestor were eligible for kingship). The nobles of Ulster advise Fergus that this will not affect his standing with them, as the boy will be king in name only, so he agrees. But Conchobar, advised by his mother, rules so well that by the end of the year it's decided he should be king permanently. Fergus makes an alliance with the new High King, Eochu Feidlech, and they make war on Ulster. After a series of bloody battles, Conchobar makes overtures for peace. Fergus is offered land, the Champion's Portion at Emain Macha, and the position of Conchobar's heir. Conchobar demands compensation from Eochu for the killing of his father, Fachtna Fáthach, and is granted land, status and the High King's daughter in marriage.

When Conchobar is visiting the house of his storyteller Fedlimid mac Daill, Fedlimid's wife gives birth to a daughter. Cathbad, now Conchobar's chief druid, prophesies that she will be so beautiful that kings will go to war over her, and she will bring nothing but sorrow. The child is named Deirdre, and Conchobar decides to have her brought up in seclusion from men, intending to marry her when she comes of age. However, she elopes with a young warrior called Naoise. Along with Naoise's two brothers, the couple go into hiding, and are eventually forced to flee to Scotland. Wherever they settle, the local king tries to have the brothers killed so he can have Deirdre for himself, and they have to move on. Eventually Conchobar tracks them down to a remote island, and sends Fergus to them with his guarantee of safe passage home. On the way home he arranges for Fergus to be separated from his charges by having him invited to a feast, so they are escorted back to Emain Macha by Fergus's son Fiachu. When they arrive, Fiachu, Naoise and his brothers are murdered on Conchobar's orders by Éogan mac Durthacht, and Deirdre is forced to marry Conchobar.

Fergus, outraged by the death of his son and the betrayal of his honour, makes war against Conchobar, alongside Cormac Cond Longas, who sides with his foster-father against his father, and Dubthach Dóeltenga. They burn Emain and slaughter the maidens of Ulster, before going into exile with Medb and her husband Ailill in Connacht.

Deirdre lives with Conchobar for a year, but during that time she never smiles, rarely eats or sleeps, and refuses to be comforted. Conchobar asks her what it is she hates, and she replies, "you, and Éogan mac Durthacht." Conchobar gives her to Éogan. The next day, riding in Éogan's chariot, she commits suicide by dashing her head against a stone.

When Medb raises an army from four of the five provinces of Ireland and launches an invasion of Ulster to steal the bull Donn Cúailnge in the Táin Bó Cúailnge, Conchobar, like all the Ulstermen but Cú Chulainn, is unable to fight, disabled by the curse of Macha. Cú Chulainn fights a series of single combats against Connacht champions, hoping to give the Ulstermen time to recover and take the field.

Eventually Cú Chulainn's father, Sualtam, comes to Conchobar at Emain Macha to warn him of the devastation the Connacht army is creating and demand he raise his army before it's too late. Conchobar and his druids agree that Sualtam should be put to death for breaking the protocol of the court - no-one is permitted to speak before Conchobar but the druids - and Sualtam runs out, but falls and decapitates himself on the sharpened edge of his shield. His severed head is brought back in on his shield, still crying out his warning. Conchobar raises his army and leads them into battle. During the fighting, Fergus has him at his mercy, but Cormac Cond Longas prevents his foster-father from killing his biological father, and Fergus strikes off the top of three hills instead. Medb is eventually forced to retreat by Cú Chulainn, but manages to bring the bull back to Connacht, where it fights her husband Ailill's bull Finnbhennach, kills it, and dies of exhaustion.

After the Táin, Conchobar falls ill, and doesn't eat or sleep. The Ulaid ask Cathbad to find out what's wrong with their king. Conchobar tells Cathbad that he is ill because the other four provinces of Ireland have made war against him with impunity. Although he was victorious against Ailill and Medb, neither of them was killed in the battle, and he still lost his bull. He wants to make war against Connacht, but it is now winter, so Cathbad advises him to wait until summer when his men and horses will be fresh and energetic, and in the meantime, call on all his foreign allies to bring reinforcements. He sends word to Conall Cernach, who is raising tribute in the Scottish islands, and he raises a great fleet of the Ulaid's allies in Scandinavia and the Faroe Islands and brings them home to Ulster.

In response to this build-up, the other provinces mobilise. Eochu mac Luchta, king of Munster, convinces Ailill and Medb, very much against Medb's better judgement, to offer reparations to Conchobar. Ailill sends a man the Ulaid have reason to mistrust as their envoy to make the offer. Conchobar rejects the offer, and says he will not be satisfied until he is able to pitch his tent anywhere in Ireland. When asked where he wants to pitch his tent that night, he selects Ros na Ríg on the River Boyne. A battle ensues at Ros na Ríg between the Ulaid on one side, and on the other side the kingdom of Meath, led by Conchobar's son-in-law Cairpre Nia Fer, king of Tara, and the Gailióin of Leinster, led by their king Find mac Rossa. The battle goes badly for the Ulaid until Conall Cernach joins the fray, because the wavering Ulstermen are too scared of him to retreat. Conall kills a thousand men in the battle. Cairpre Nia Fer kills 800 before Cú Chulainn kills him with a spear thrown from a distance, and then beheads him before his body hits the ground. The Gailióin retreat and the Ulaid take Tara. Erc, Cairpre's son and Conchobar's grandson, is installed as the new king of Tara. He swears allegiance to Conchobar and is given Cú Chulainn's daughter Fínscoth in marriage.

Conchobar is eventually killed as a result of a wound inflicted by the Connacht warrior Cet mac Mágach. Cet had stolen one of Ulster's trophies of battle, the petrified brain of Mesgegra, king of Leinster, and shoots it from his sling so it embeds itself in Conchobar's head; this is supposed to have taken place at Baile Ath in Urchair. Conchobor's physicians are unable to remove it, but sew up the wound and tell the king he will survive so long as he doesn't get excited or over-exert himself. Seven reasonably peaceful years later, Conchobar is told of the death of Christ, and becomes so angry that the brain bursts from his head, and he dies. The blood from the wound baptises him as a Christian, and his soul goes to heaven. While this account of his death has been superficially Christianised, it also bears strong resemblances to the Scandinavian myth of Thor's fight against Hrungnir, suggesting either a common origin of the two episodes or a later borrowing during the era of Viking influence in Ireland.

The Ulstermen invite his son Cormac Cond Longas, still in exile in Connacht, to succeed him as king, but on his way to Emain Macha Cormac is forced to break his geasa or taboos, and is killed in battle at Da Choca's Hostel. On Conall Cernach's recommendation the kingship is then given to Conchobar's other son, Cúscraid Mend Macha

    Personality

A gregarious and easily complicit man on the surface, Conchobar hides his fearfulness and anger under layers of smiles. Though accused of cowardice and ineptitude, Conchobar like many others in the Ulaid and Fennian Cycle, is mostly a victim of circumstance. However this description does ring true when it comes to females. His wives might have been many, including Medb and his own mother, but in their presence he reveals the scared little boy who was a mere puppet for his mother lurking beneath the surface.

    Tactics

Shielder has remarkably numerous options, all of which can be decently exploited by a Master with the patience to take their time with him.

    -------------
I’m never putting this much effort into a sheet ever again.
Just kind of freeballed the Precog skill off what I know from Medb’s Noble Phantasm, I’m sure someone will correct me. Protection of Mother also kind of feels like a mess but I can’t think of how to streamline it.
Also partly inspired by the old belief that the Sun/Moon starters would have gender-divergent evolutions.
