Mwindo: Pretty cool sheet all around. Very wanked, but from what little I know of his legend it seems mostly justified.

I don't know about giving his first NP resurrection authority though. Resurrecting the dead is kind of a big deal in the Nasuverse, to say the least. Even the Third Magic which can manipulate souls can't resurrect people outright. It took seven Grails and Fou giving up his sapience to revive Mashu at the end of Salomon (and even that was only possible because of Goetia's Reality Marble being outside of time). In general, I really wouldn't advise giving a Servant an NP that can straight-up revive the dead. Especially since the only example of an NP with that potential in canon (Tamamo's mirror) had its abilities massively gimped when wielded by a Servant.

Also, is there any limitation on his second Personal Skill? Since you mentioned he has to manually activate it, there must be some reason he can't just use it all the time. Maybe a penalty to Agility due to his body being made of iron?

That could work for the Mwindo Forged skill, but I will not budge on the resurrecting the dead NP. The conga scepter does that literally all the time and it's one of its main powers. It kills Muisa, god the underworld, twice, and brings him back to life. And that isn't the only god it brought back to life either. Mukiti, a river serpent god, and a god of anteaters whose name I forget.

To reiterate, this is something which not only can kill gods but bring them back to life, which is much more impressive than even Karna's god killing spear.

That's definitely something beyond Third Magic.

Fair enough. I only brought it up since Servants are usually weaker than they were in life, but I guess just limiting it to three minutes is already weakening it from his legend.

Yeah, I had to think of some limit.

Mwindo's actually a very difficult Servant to figure out, given how insane his feats are in the epic. Beating up or killing gods and bringing them back to life, extending his own pregnancy so he is born walking and talking from either his mother's finger or naval, growing life in a realm which is actually described as an anti-life realm, wrecking up at least three realms ruled and inhabited by gods, enduring punishment from the gods themselves after he slays a dragon which was the blood brother of Nkuba and brings the people it ate back to life, foiling his father's attempts to kill him with magic...

He's like the Sun Wukong of Africa.

“Kehehe, what a shitty joke all of this is. I wasn’t wrong in that stupid little thing I wrote before I kicked the bucket… there’ll always be thieves. Stealing from the poor, stealing from the rich… there ain't a single damn difference. Greed is human, and human is greed… folks can pretend otherwise as much as they want, but it is how it is. This is a world of those who take and those who are taken from, and I'm one of the takers. A guy like me, being remembered as a hero just because of who I happened to steal from… it really is the worst damn joke that I’ve ever heard.”

    True Name: Ishikawa Goemon
    Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
    Attribute: Man
    Class: Assassin

    STR: D
    CON: B+
    AGI: B
    MGI: E
    LCK: C
    NP: C+

    Class Skills
    Presence Concealment: A
A Skill that denotes the capacity to hide one’s presence as a Servant. It is suitable for spying. At this Rank, it is possible to disappear completely and become nearly impossible to be detected. The Rank drops considerably once preparations to attack are made. Assassin was formally trained as a ninja, a master of stealth and concealment, and made use of that training throughout his life to engage in many successful instances of stealthy thievery. It is even said he was only able to be detected during an assassination attempt by a mystical incense burner.

    Personal Skills
    Golden Rule: C-
A Skill that denotes the measurement of one’s fortune to acquire wealth. In life, Assassin was famed as the greatest thief in all of Japan, devoting the plurality of his life to stealing from the wealthy and powerful. He was unerringly successful for nearly two decades, assembling a band of outlaws and thieves and robbing the rich of their wealth night after night. This Skill has a minus modifier due to his reputation as one who gave a certain amount of his plunder to the poor. A portion of any wealth acquired will be given to bystanders.

    Disengage: C
A Skill that denotes the ability to withdraw from the battlefield in the midst of combat. It additionally returns battle conditions to what they were at the beginning of the match. While not typically from a battlefield proper, Assassin has made numerous escapes from those they have stolen from, even successfully withdrawing from a failed assassination attempt against Oda Nobunaga himself.

    Ninjutsu: C
A Skill that denotes the secret intelligence techniques, combat techniques, larceny techniques, torture techniques, etc. employed by ninjas. Assassin is trained in the Iga school of Ninjutsu. He is modestly proficient at explosives, medicines, poisons, unarmed combat, climbing, water walking, and a multitude of weaponry.

    Noble Phantasms
    A Thief's End
    Goemonburo, Cauldron of Execution

    Rank:
    C+
    Type:
    Anti-Unit
    Range:
    1
    Maximum Targets:
    1
The execution of the great bandit Ishikawa Goemon ranks as among the most famous in Japanese history, one that has been played out countless times in popular kabuki plays over the centuries following it. The most famous version of the story is that he was captured during an assassination attempt on the ruler of Japan, Toyotomi Hideyoshi. His motive in this is disputed; some say it was to kill a despot oppressing the poor, others that it was a personal act to avenge his family, and yet others believe he merely sought to steal from the wealthy warlord. While in some versions of the story he was detected and arrested due to accidentally knocking over a bell, the most popular version posits that he was found out by a mystical incense burner. It was ordered that Goemon and his entire family would be publicly put to death by boiling oil in front of the Buddhist temple Nanzen-ji. After the deaths of the rest of his family, Goemon and his son Gobei were placed into the iron cauldron of burning oil. Some accounts claim that Goemon successfully held his son above the oil for the duration of the execution, saving the boy's life. Others tell that Goemon at first tried to save him, but then was left with no choice but to plunge him to the bottom of the cauldron to kill him as quickly as possible. Regardless, Goemon was defiant to the last, right until the very moment he finally succumbed to the boiling oil and sank to his death. His execution was so engraved in the public consciousness of Japan that iron cauldrons like the one used to execute Goemon were henceforth forever known as goemonburo, or Goemon baths.

This Noble Phantasm is the crystallization of Goemon's famed execution by boiling oil, possessing both a limited release and full release, though Assassin will typically claim there is only the limited release. Its limited release, requiring no invocation of its name, summons forth goemonburo filled to the brim with boiling oil. After all, Assassin points out, it is only natural that he should be able to summon items directly named after him and most famous for their role in his history. He is only able to bring them forth within around a meter of himself, though he can do so in mid air, and the number he can bring forth is only limited by the space around him. The cauldrons themselves hold no particular special properties and are completely stationary, easily broken by even simple magecraft. Their primary worth lies in the boiling oil within them; it is more than capable of severely scalding and potentially even killing Servants with low defensive attributes. Of course, he cannot summon the oil without the stationary cauldrons that hold them, so in practice this limited release is only useful for hitting large slow moving targets, large scale warfare, or area denial by covering surfaces in oil.

The full release and true purpose of this Noble Phantasm is reenacting the legendary execution of the great bandit; it is a suicide Noble Phantasm whose usage will kill Assassin. Upon activation of the Noble Phantasm, a recreation of the very same iron cauldron used to execute him is summoned in the space Assassin is standing in. Naturally, this space also encompasses the area immediately around Assassin, including any individual he is engaged in close quarters combat with or is otherwise in close proximity to his body. An invisible barrier forms in the area immediately around the cauldron, denoting Assassin's inability to escape from his promised execution, preventing interference from outside parties and ensuring the ever troublesome thief won't be able to escape one last time. The cauldron is filled with searing hot oil of a potency greater than that of the Noble Phantasm's limited release, easily capable of killing most Servants. Assassin and his chosen victim are boiled to death together, the Noble Phantasm's activation continuing until Assassin has succumbed to his injuries, upon which it dissipates.

It is a Noble Phantasm that trades Assassin's life for the death of one single other opponent, but it is not always capable of taking that enemy's life. Those with Rank A CON will be able to survive the execution, albeit so severely wounded as to be easy prey. A variety of defensive Noble Phantasms and Skills allow one to take little to no damage from it or survive the fatal wounds it inflicts for some time afterwards. While escape via conventional means or Command Seal is negated by the dictates of execution, it is possible to break the cauldron and the barrier of execution around it via offensive Rank C+ Noble Phantasms or higher, though of course at point blank range this is a risky proposition for the one trapped in it.

The Seeds of Thieves Will Never Die
    Greedily Grasping Hands of Rats

    Rank: D
    Type: Anti-Unit
    Range: 1
    Maximum targets: 1-20
Ishikawa Goemon did not achieve his reputation as one of the greatest thieves in history alone. It is said that he assembled a great band of thieves, bandits, and outlaws, perhaps one of the largest and most well organized of such groups in Japan's history. Goemon's group of thieves ravaged the city of Kyoto and the Kansai region, expertly scouting out their targets by day using disguises, and engaging in act after act of thievery at night. Clerics, merchants, and well guarded feudal lords alike were overtaken by the numbers and prowess of Ishikawa Goemon's organization of thieves, their wealth stolen with ease and frequently disseminated among the common people. Though the individual names of these bandits are lost to history, they continue to enjoy a romanticized reputation in Japan's history alongside their boss for their anti authoritarian acts against the oppressive rich. Prior to his execution, Goemon wrote in his farewell poem that the "seeds of thieves would never die" in reference to his men and those like them.

Assassin's secondary Noble Phantasm summons forth the famed band of thieves intrinsic to his legend... or rather, it doesn't. After all, these nameless thieves were certainly not Heroic Spirits, recorded to the Throne. They are not even existences on the level of wraiths or Phantoms. It is not as if they held some great loyalty or friendship towards their boss either; it is even said in some stories that Goemon was sold out by his band. No, what this Noble Phantasm materializes forth is not that gang of bandits... merely just their hands. The hands of men who greedily desperately constantly grasped at wealth, at plunder, at riches, at a future beyond their destitute existence. Not even death will stop a thief from trying to steal something. Their hands will never stop reaching outwards; their hands will never stop desiring what is in front of them.

Effectively speaking, what activation of this Noble Phantasm does is give Assassin a few dozen extra pairs of hands all around him. They are not invisible, but neither do they physically materialize as flesh, appearing translucent and almost inhuman. The hands hold no special properties, merely grasp at and hold whatever they can. In practice, Assassin uses them to steal a lot more than he otherwise would and to enhance his combat effectiveness. Though they lack his reflexes and combat skills, the hands of his thieves are still more than capable of cutting with a sword or throwing a shuriken. Via his extra hands, Assassin can combat enemies on all sides or trip up his foes in one on one combat.

Though quite useful, this Noble Phantasm is not without its drawbacks. The hands and the spiritual arms they extend from are not immune to harm and can easily be destroyed by magecraft or a Servant's weapons. Furthermore, they can not be summoned further than a meter around Assassin, limiting their potential effectiveness. He is only capable of manifesting a dozen pairs out of three dozen at a time, and once killed, each pair can take up to three days to regenerate.

    Background
Assassin's True Name is Ishikawa Goemon, one of the most famous thieves and folk heroes in Japanese history.

Accounts differ significantly on Goemon's background. Some say that his birth name was Sanada Kuranoshin, son to a samurai family in Iga province. When his father was killed by men of the Ashikaga Shogunate, the teenage Sanada swore to take vengeance and trained in the ninja arts of the Iga beneath the tutelage Momochi Sandayu. It is said that his first act as a thief was stealing his master's prized sword and fleeing with one of his master's mistresses, with some accounts saying he killed her to ensure his escape. Other sources claim his birth name was Gorokizu, who was never a ninja at all. Regardless of origin, Goemon went on to become a legendary thief, leading a group of bandits and robbing every night clerics, merchants, and wealthy feudal lords. While the romantic notion was born that he was an anti authoritarian hero of the oppressed who stole from the rich and gave to the poor, some sources suggest that he merely scattered plunder among bystanders to cover his escapes.

Ishikawa Goemon was eventually captured by the men of warlord Toyotomi Hideyoshi, whether it be because he was ratted out by his own bandits or was detected during an attempted break in or assassination attempt. He and his family were condemned to a public execution by burning oil. It is written that Goemon and his son were placed together in the cauldron of burning oil, and that Goemon either merely attempted to or succeeded in saving his son's life by holding him above the oil. Iron cauldrons like the one used to execute Goemon would go on to become known as goemonburo, and Goemon himself would be romantically remembered in kabuki plays and other Japanese media for centuries to come.

    Character
At first glance, Goemon comes across as a selfish, greedy, and perverted hedonist with an obnoxious streak a mile long. That first glance is entirely correct. He is an utterly boorish man thoroughly steeped in self interest, seeming to exist entirely for thievery and indulgence. His demeanor is one seemingly always laid back and cheerfully irreverent, seeming to take just about nothing seriously, always smiling slyly and making light of the situation around him. Though more than happy to hang out with individuals of a similar nature to him, he holds the great heroes and mad villains around him in equal contempt, sneering and laughing at selflessness and conviction and ideals. He looks out solely for himself and his own interests, ever defiant and ever rebellious. He certainly does not take kindly to being ordered around and told what to do; he is a man who greatly values his independence and freedom. Though he ever has on a sleazy smile, he can be quite easily angered when it comes down to it. He is a man of passion, even if that passion is seemingly concentrated entirely in greed. His hungry gaze is constantly looking for easy marks and valuables to make his own. There is nothing and no one he is above taking advantage of; he is opportunistic to a fault and his loyalty exists solely towards what will enable him to steal. He wouldn't steal from the destitute, but that is merely because the destitute have nothing worth stealing; he will happily steal anything of value from anyone else, regardless of whether they could be argued to deserve it or not.

He steals for the thrill, he steals to add to his wealth, he steals merely because someone's pissed him off. A noxious braggart, he is always happy to boast about his accomplishments and great escapes, and to show off anything he's stolen with self confidence of a level almost disgusting. A self indulgent seeker of pleasure, while he primarily hoards his loot, he is more than happy to invest some of it into good drink, food, women, and entertainment. While certainly not to the extent of certain pirates, he's a womanizer who is always happy to flirt with and be in the company of beautiful women... though he isn't above stealing from them either. His outwardly cheerful and jovial demeanor masks a man who is thoroughly ruthless; he will betray even a long time drinking buddy or lover if it means living another day. His bragging is not without basis; he may seem impulsive and irreverent, but he is in truth deeply analytic and ever cautious. He takes no particular joy in killing or torture, unless it's someone he dislikes, but he is not remotely above doing whatever it takes to fulfill his aims. He really is the farthest thing from a hero there could be.

Yet, this is the very same man romanticized as a folk hero. Yet, this is the very same man who sought to save his son's life at the very end. He laughs it off, mocking the notion that someone like him that only ever lived for himself is remembered as a hero. At the same time however, though he will never outwardly express it, he is haunted by his legacy. He has long since deemed himself a rotten person without an ounce of selflessness, and he is perfectly content living that way. Being a good person merely meant being a sucker to be taken advantage of. Yet, even he cannot deny the actions at the end of his life. Yet, even he cannot deny his self centered actions gave hope to an oppressed populace. Some small part of him cannot help but look at his single impulsive selfless act... and wonder if Ishikawa Goemon might be able to live up to his reputation after all.

    Relationships
    Toyotomi Hideyoshi
The man he attempted to steal from or assassinate, depending on who you ask. The man who he called a thief that had stolen the entire country. The man who condemned him and his family to death. It should go without saying that he doesn't like the warlord at all, and honestly speaking would like nothing more then to steal from or assassinate him again, but this time hopefully successfully. He claims it is merely for the wealth and he holds no hard feelings... but it seems on some level he wants to do it for his family. In regards to the famous line he said to Hideyoshi, he actually gets flustered and claims it was a spur of the moment sort of thing and that he would never say something so lofty in his right mind.

    James Moriarty
Someone he has great compatibility with, a wholly selfless criminal mastermind that he's quite happy to work with on just about any endeavor. It's not that he actually likes the old man or anything, merely that they have similar aims and are excellent at working with each other. Though, the Napoleon of Crime's theatrics and obsession with Sherlock Holmes grate on him, who is only comfortable bragging after he's made his great escape, and he's reconsidering this partnership.

    Robin Hood
Why the hell is he called the Robin Hood of Japan?! He's nothing at all like this overly idealistic overly self sacrificing hippie! He has nothing to praise this weirdo in tights for save for his skill at thievery, and even then he wastes that skill on helping the poor! That is what he outwardly claims, anyway. In truth, he holds a certain degree of envy...

    Ninjas
It should go without saying that the man who betrayed and stole from his ninja master and made use of his ninjutsu for personal gain doesn't get along with proper ninjas like Fuuma Koutarou or Mochizuki Chiyome. Though, he wouldn't say anything to their faces. He knows they're better than him.

    Bond CE
    First Theft
There were four things he stole that night.
The first were his master's prized ninja arts.
The second was his master's prized sword.
The third were some gold coins.
The fourth was his lover's life.
    He loved her, he thinks.
He wouldn't have run away with her to begin with if he hadn't.
Yet, when she got in the way of his escape, he killed her without hesitation.
He tries not to remember her face.
He tries not to remember her gentle touch.
He says it's because it'd be useless sentimentality.
He feels it's because he doesn't have the right to.
There was one additional thing he stole that night.
He stole from himself the notion he could ever be a hero.

God I wish we would just get like, a basic description for all the extra classes to the extent we got for the main ones. Please Nasu.

Hear me now, O heart of the World:
Light of Man, Dawn of Life
    Reaching Antiquity, Seizing the Future
I call upon the stories of heroes long forgotten
With this hand I will make thee whole.

I feel you dude. I wish I didn't have this desire to have all my servant NPs in their native language (assuming its not like, a named item for an NP).

Names are fine, I guess. Creating an entire different timeline is pain (especially the justifications of why would the Servant in question have that Skill/NP in this timeline and argh).

I find making Servant from myths are rather hard compared to historical one. They tend to have specific weapons with a specific ability, so it hard for me to come up with a creative interpretation of an NP when the myth already spilling it for me. That's why things like canon Gram being multiple knifes because it was shattered and reforged is mindblowingly creative.

There is also the lack of excitment when writing one. Because the aforementioned spilling things remove the fun of researching something, while historical Servant pretty much force us to research and took interpretation.

Wouldn't really say I've found that a problem at all, to be honest. Then again, I tend to do more obscure heroes, where there's probably more room for interpreting their legend.

I too opted up just by choosing the obscure/secondary character. I only make two myth based Servant and they are not the main character. I like Ruggiero and Bradamante in Furioso, but the fact they have a lot of focus, character development, and personality end up making me to not write one. Be creative and it ends up a large departure from the myth. Be faithful and it ends up like just 'transplanting' things. Both have this unpleasant aftertaste just like eating a gamey meat.

But again, this largely just my personal issue.

Honestly, I feel like this is my attempt to see how much bull I can fit into one sheet... But, hopefully this wasn't too botched.

    Class: Berserker
True Name: Isabel de Carvajal/Serrana de la Vera
    Gender: Female
    Alignment: Chaotic Evil

    Strength: B
    Endurance: C
    Agility: C
    Mana: D
    Luck: C
    Noble Phantasm: A

    Class Skills
    Mad Enhancement D (B)
Strength and Endurance parameters are up. Language ability is simple. Continuing complex thoughts over long periods of time are difficult.
While under the effects of La Serrana de la Vera, this Skill elevates to Rank B.

    Personal Skills
    Shapeshift A
The Serrana can morph into a werewolf or a giantess, which she has been depicted as in some versions of her legend.

    Monstrous Strength B (A)
A Skill that temporarily grants a rank-up to one's Strength parameter for a time limit determined by the ranking of this Skill. This Skill is borne from the holder's nature as a monster or Demonic Beast.

While it is uncertain if the Serrana truly is any of the monsters she has been depicted as, it is certain that she isn’t fully human. This Skill elevates to Rank A+ when the Serrana is under the effects of La Serrana de la Vera.

    Golden Rule (Body) B
A Skill that denotes the possession of a natural and perfect goddess-like body, preserving beauty. Unlike the Natural Body Skill whose body shape does not change despite how much caloric intake was taken, there is no effect on the Skill owner's Strength parameter.

It is said that La Serrana would use her beauty to seduce men and sleep with them before killing them.

    Noble Phantasms
    La Serrana de la Vera
Predator of the Sierra de Tormantos
    A
    Type: Anti-Unit (Self)
When this Noble Phantasm is activated, the Phantom known as La Serrana de la Vera manifests herself and becomes the dominant part of Berserker. This causes her to turn into a creature that is a beautiful, tanned, blonde woman from the waste up and a mare from the waist down.

While in this form, Mad Enhancement and Monstrous Strength are elevated to Rank B and Rank A, respectively. Because of this, while she does become even more terrifyingly strong than before, she loses almost all reason and becomes little more than a rampaging monster.

This transformation will last until she either runs out of mana or a Command Seal is used.

    Lore:
It is said that in the hollow of the Sierra de Tormantos (southern slope of Gredos), there once lived a woman who terrorized men.

She was a beautiful girl named Isabel de Carvajal, who was from a well-off though not noble family. Seduced by the nephew of the Bishop of Plasencia, she fled to the mountains to hide her pain and shame. She then began exacting vengance upon any man unfortunate enough to wander by her cave by seducing and sleeping with them before killing them. Eventually, a young shepherd from the mountains (serranillo) proved cleverer than her, escaping her trap and telling everyone what happened. Isabel was then captured and hung for her crimes.

As a Heroic Spirit, Isabel was conflated with the Phantom known as La Serrana de la Vera. La Serrana de la Vera was said to have been a tanned, blonde woman who carried a crossbow. When the mood comes upon her, she drags men off to her cave to have sex with them before killing them. Again, her existence was exposed by a serranillo, who escaped her cave full of skulls. The Serrana was enraged and fearful that the serranillo would reveal the location of her cave, so she pursued him with a large boulder loaded in her sling. She succeeded in knocking off the young man's cap made from good, fine cloth. Though lamenting that he lost the cap, the serranillo continued to make his escape and told of the creature he described as a beautiful woman from the waist up and a mare from the waist down.

However, some versions of the story depict her as a werewolf or giantess. Most of the abilities that she possesses belong to the Serrana de la Vera's Phantom. When summoned, she takes the form of Isabel.

If she were summoned as an Archer, she would have Independent Action A+ and Bravery A, replacing Mad Enhancement and Shapeshift. This would reflect the aspect of her legend that described her as being armed with a crossbow, possessing great courage, and hunting wild boars and bulls.

    Personality:
She has forsaken the name Isabel de Carvajal and will kill anyone who refers to her as that. She is a complete androphobe who becomes incredibly hostile when a man enters her presence. This also causes her to prefer to isolate herself and only come out when she wants to go hunting for men. She becomes more sociable around women, but still goes on edge if a man also happens to be in the area. Her behavior towards men is almost exactly what you would expect of a stereotypical feminist.

    Relationships:
Ritsuka Fujimaru (Male): She only keeps him around because she needs him. Never refers to him as "Master" and instead calls him "Pig".

Ritsuka Fujimaru (Female): She is on decent terms with her and fine with referring to her as "Master".

Holy Grail: Wants to use it to regain a human body so that she can run off to the mountains and start on her usual routine again.

Leonardo Da Vinci: Da Vinci's presence leaves the Serrana baffled. She knows that while being summoned as a Heroic Spirit merged her with the Mona Lissa, she was actually a man in life. Has absolutely no idea what to think of her.

Le Chevalier d'Eon: Has absolutely no clue what to think of them due to how ambiguous their gender is.

Chiron: On one hand, she's happy to have some else of her kind around. On the other hand, she hates that he's a man.

Astolfo: Whenever the Serrana sees him, she flies into a blind rage over how he wears women's clothes despite being a man.

Blackbeard: These two are forbidden from meeting. Blackbeard's perversion and the Serrana's androphobia means it could only result in disaster.

Gorgon: The Serrana feels a sense of camaraderie with the Monster of the Shapeless Isle.

    Saber
    Alternate Class: Rider
    Alignment: Lawful Good
    Origin: Norse Myth

    Parameters
    Strength: A
    Endurance: B
    Agility: B
    Mana: B
    Luck: D
    NP: A

    Class Skills
    Magic Resistance: A
Magic Resistance grants protection against magical effects. Differing from the Resistance effect that merely rejects Magical Energy, this ability cancels the spells altogether.
Cancel spells of A-Rank or below, no matter what High-Thaumaturgy it is. In practice, the Servant is untouchable to modern magi, so it would not be an exaggeration to title the Servant a 'Magus Killer'.

    Riding: A+
Riding is a Class Skill of Rider and Saber class Servants, denoting the ability to ride mounts and vehicles. Rider-class Servants will typically possess a high rank. It is said that dragon type mounts are an exception, requiring a different ability other than Riding.
All vehicles and all creatures but those of Phantasmal Beast and Divine Beast-rank can be used as mounts. This rank is high enough to have aptitude for the Rider Class.

    Personal Skills:
    Child of Nature: EX
Child of Nature is a Skill that represents one as a child born in the Reverse Side of the World that will eventually become the same. Even if they are not naturally occurring life, but living things created by human hands, sometimes even they can receive great blessings from the World.

Saber possesses this skill from the fact that the word for the group known as the Vanir is rare in Eddaic verse, very rare in Skaldic verse, and virtually unknown in other Germanic sources. Many hypotheses suggest that the Norse word for elf and the word Vanir were used interchangeably, given Saber’s close association with the elves. The Vanir as a group is thus understood to be a fabrication. Saber’s true species is that of an elven bunrei, a Greater Fairy that has evolved further beyond an Elemental.

    Primordial Rune (Ingwaz): C
Primordial Rune is the possession of and knowledge about Runes that came from an older era. Those with possession and knowledge of Primordial Runes can also make use of the classic Rune Magic.

As there is no evidence for the Vanir being taught the secret of the runes, Saber’s knowledge of such should be an impossibility. However, Saber’s origin is itself that of the rune Ingwaz, allowing him the use of a single rune. The god Yngvi, legendary predecessor of the line of ancient Swedish kings, is often considered the “Truer of the True Names” or a theonym for Saber. As the runes of Odin made their way south, many sources state the first rune many Germanic tribes learned was Ingwaz, relating to Saber’s oddly widespread influence in comparison to other Norse deities.

Ingwaz is the rune of “isolation in which transformation can occur”; a rune to store power to later be released in a burst of energy. Naturally, the most common function for Ingwaz is to be utilized in lieu of a Mana Burst skill. Ingwaz’s secondary use is to be inscribed on the ground or activated on Saber’s body in reverse, creating a Bounded Field-like effect suitable for hiding one’s immediate presence. The effect varies depending on the latent magic power of the beings hidden inside the field, and is thus often a very short one.
As with a certain Valkyrie, Saber’s use of the rune at its full power without a proper Divinity skill at Rank A, he will surely succumb.

Beauty of Trouble with Women: A
Beauty of Trouble with Women is a type of awareness that has been raised to a level of a curse.

A prophecy fulfilled. Saber’s unquenching love for the jotunn Gerdr is destined to cause his own tragedy. After pleas of love--and then threats that could only be described as those from a Grade-A yandere--Saber bartered his divine gifts away through a middleman so that he could be with the woman he loved. A deal that would cost him and all of life dearly come Ragnarok.
As this is a version of Saber that has yet to meet Gerdr, any woman he takes a special fancy to will not be able to escape from him.

A Knight Does Not Die With Empty Hands: C
The anecdote of a warrior, having lost his true weapon, being reduced to fighting with anything he can get his hands on; such as a large branch.

Though the story was made famous by Lancelot du Lac, Saber is the conceptual progenitor to Lancelot’s fight with Tarquin. Having given up his sword to Gerdr, he is weaponless when the jotunn’s brother Beli comes to put a stop to the marriage. Saber happens to have the antler of a stag handy, and so kills the giant with that instead.

Even though it’s not a truncated Noble Phantasm, as well as the fact that Saber still owns his sword, he receives this Skill anyway for his participating in the anecdote’s creation. Sealed while Saber yet holds his sword, which in turn seals most of the sword’s power when Saber grasps something else.

    Noble Phantasm

    Sumarbrandr
    Summer Sword of the Gods

    Type: Anti-Unit
    Rank: B

The finest of all swords, a Divine Construct given to Saber by the dwarves as part of Loki’s contest between the two dwarf brothers Brokkr and Sindri. It is said to be the younger twin sibling of Mjolnir, and the only other weapon of the gods that the jotunn feared. It hung proudly by Saber’s side until he gave it up for love, only to be on the receiving end of its strength when he does battle with Surtr during Ragnarok.

Its name means “summer sword”, and derives from its atomically sharp blade. Sumarbrandr moving ambiently is enough for the blade to bisect hundreds of atoms at a time, resulting in small instances of nuclear fission. Because of this, Sumarbrandr is constantly radiating a toxically warm breeze. A weapon that doesn’t use any inherent magical heat value to attain explosive effects, but rather the otherworldly quality and movement speed of the steel itself. However, the nuclear reaction is so persistent that the blade itself never makes contact with its opponent, always covered in a shining, fiery film.

Sumarbrandr is one of the few weapons so finely crafted that it fights on its own. An Automatic-Defense System that doesn’t even require direction by thought from Saber. He prefers to wield it himself, despite being quick to bargain it away if it’ll please a pretty woman. Maybe he knows it will just return to him?

    Sumarbrandr Álfröðull
Heavenly Wheel of the Summer Sun

    Type: Anti-Army
    Rank: A++

In the Grímnismál,during the explanations of the nine realms and their rulers, Alfheimr is stated to have been given to the young Saber as a teething present. Alfheimr: the realm of the light-elves, once again referring to Saber’s elven ancestry and authority. Another object associated with the elves is the Sun; known by the kenning Álfröðull (“elf-wheel, elf-heaven”). Though usually associated with the sun goddess Sunna, or her chariot, in skaldic verse Álfröðull is also used as a heiti for Saber. A heiti represents an even closer degree of association than a kenning, and as such Saber can be known as Álfröðull, as the sun, without any loss of true information.

This technique of evoking the true sun power of Sumarbrandr is reinforced with the legend that the “sword of the light of the gods” that takes the place of the eaten sun during Ragnarok is Sumarbrandr itself. The flaming sword of Surtr, who came into possession of the blade sometime after Saber relinquished it, kills its former master for having betrayed it.

Saber spins the sword beside him until a solid ring of light is formed, expressing its True Nature as the very sun itself. As Saber doesn’t possess a proper Authority in this iteration, this is accomplished by layering the Reality Marble of Alfheimr over the spinning ring, feeding back the nuclear energy of Sumarbrandr’s movement to simulate the devastating power of the sun.

    History

Freyr is a widely attested god associated with sacral kingship, virility and prosperity, with sunshine and fair weather, and pictured as a phallic fertility god in Norse mythology. Freyr is said to "bestow peace and pleasure on mortals". Freyr, sometimes referred to as Yngvi-Freyr, was especially associated with Sweden and seen as an ancestor of the Swedish royal house.

In the Icelandic books the Poetic Edda and the Prose Edda, Freyr is presented as one of the Vanir, the son of the sea god Njörðr, as well as the twin brother of the goddess Freyja. The gods gave him Álfheimr, the realm of the Elves, as a teething present. He rides the shining dwarf-made boar Gullinbursti and possesses the ship Skíðblaðnir which always has a favorable breeze and can be folded together and carried in a pouch when it is not being used. He has the servants Skírnir, Byggvir and Beyla.

The most extensive surviving Freyr myth relates Freyr's falling in love with the female jötunn Gerðr. Eventually, she becomes his wife but first Freyr has to give away his magic sword which fights on its own "if wise be he who wields it." Although deprived of this weapon, Freyr defeats the jötunn Beli with an antler. However, lacking his sword, Freyr will be killed by the fire jötunn Surtr during the events of Ragnarök.

He prefers to be summoned as a Rider, but since having his sword back reminds him of his beloved Gerdr, he doesn’t mind so much.

That's a nifty Frey sheet. My only critique is about his fourth Personal Skill. I get that it fits his legend, but it doesn't feel right to me for Frey to have another Heroic Spirit's NP as his own, even in Skill form. Yes, some secondary NPs in GO are classified as Skills, but I think that's only for gameplay purposes and shouldn't be taken to imply other Servants could have them.

Also, out of curiosity, do you have any thoughts on my version of the guy I wrote up a while back?

I can't believe that in the 6+ years of these thread there never has been a Wright Brothers sheet ever made; I guess that has something to do with the already proven wrong "no servant beyond the 90s" rule. I'm trying to make one right now but to start, does someone know a good babbage/edison-esque FC for them? (no mario bros plz)

None that I can recall, but pinetree wrote up a pretty good Alberto Dumont sheet a while back that hit a lot of the notes I'd expect from a Wright Brothers Servant.

Regarding potential FCs, this was the first thing I could find, though it might be a bit too "intense" for what you're looking for.
