Maybe Kiri still caused a fire during it's deconstruction by accident or something.

headcanon: Shirou's parents got Sealing Designation and Bazett killed them.
Wait, on that note, where'd they get the maids? They're normal people this time around, right?
Linger: Complete. August, 1995. I met him. A branch off Part 3. Mikiya keeps his promise to meet Azaka, and meets again with that mysterious girl he once found in the rain.

Prillya Bazzet fights a bloodlusted Gilgamesh and doesn't instant lose. At 14 she would be within shonen competency zone and at least five times more useful then she is as an adult.

Hmm. Then I guess maybe Iri made them? Because it can't have been Illya this time around
Also, what year does this take place in?

I was wondering about that too, since Illya doesn't seem like an 18 year old but Shirou and Rin are in high school...
20xx presumably. The manga started in 2007 though so probably around there.

I mentioned that before, seemingly Illya's timeline is condensed here, to where she would have been 8 months old at the start of the Fourth War, instead of 8 years old like she was in Zero. So we're dealing with a ten year old Illya at what should roughly be the time of the Fifth war, while Shirou and Rin's ages have remained fairly unaffected.
She went back in time and seduced shiki when he was like 9, not realizing that his H game protagonist sperm was strong even then. So she just jumped forward in time 9 months and dropped shirou off at an orphanage. That's why in the fight nasu says shiki canonically would win, at some point or another he will ask shirou quite unironically "whose your daddy?!"
Aren't the Homunculi just clones?
It wouldn't be odd if there are archetypes of Sella walking around the Einzbern mansion that Iri took with her before she and Kerry bailed on Acht.
It makes sense for Liz to exist, since she's meant to become the Dress of Heaven.
Plus, it's possible that Illya was going to be used in HGW #4 instead of Iri.

Wasn't there another copy of Liz made after she died in UC?
