Thread: Create-a-Servant

Well yeah, King Arthur is better known as "that king who had all those cool knights" than "that guy with the unbreakable sword, so cool!" At least in my anecdotal experience. Probably because everyone I know has to read Le Morte d'Arthur.

This guy was mentioned in Strange Fake, and apparently one of his NPs are still around that the Tsubaki family got their hands on and was going to use as a catalyst and a Master's NP like Avalon.
Doesn't seem like the Terracotta army so any ideas what it was?

For all we know it literally would have been a Terracotta golem smuggled out of China to act as a bodyguard. But knowing Strange Fake it would end up being some weapon forged out of the meteoric iron from the meteor that predicted his death, thus bearing some absurd concept of death upon the weapon.

    Huh. Actually... I like that.

Into my Qin Shi Huang character sheet it goes!

    Y'all need Jesus...

    Servant info:
    Spoiler:

    Bearer of the Keys

    Name:
Simon Peter, First of the Twelve Apostles
    Class: Caster
    Gender: Male
    Alignment: Lawful Good

    Strength: C
    Endurance: C
    Agility: D
    Mana: B
    Luck: D
    Noble Phantasm: A+++

    Skills
    Spoiler:
    Class Skills

    Item Construction: N/A
Peter's skill to manufacture magical items belongs to another skill, Saint.

    Territory Creation: A
Creation of a "Temple" becomes possible.

    Personal Skills:

    Charisma: B
As the chief of the Apostles and founder of the largest Christian church, Peter's ability to lead others is almost unrivaled among saints.

    Protection of the Faith: EX
Though he many times faltered, Peter was able to redeem this flaw, eventually achieving a faith in Christ as unshakeable as a rock. No matter what happens, Peter's faith will never again falter.

    Saint: A+++
Peter's status as a saint is almost unquestionable: All churches that honor saint will also honor Peter as one of the first saints. Due to this, he receives all effects granted that could be granted by this skill.

    Noble Phantasm
    Spoiler:
Gladium Petri - His Last Miracle

    Anti-Unit, Rank C

The sword used by Peter cut off Malchus' ear, which was then healed by Jesus, in order to teach his Apostles to be peaceful. The sword cannot be used to harm anymore, but to reproduce Jesus' last miracle while alive. Any wound inflicted by the sword will never cause pain, and will be healed almost immeditely, along with any other injuries and maladies that affect the target.

Argenti Clavem - The Power to Bind

    Anti-Unit, Rank A+

One of the two keys entrusted to Peter by Jesus himself, the Keys of Heaven, symbols of the pope. It is the silver key, which holds the power to bind to this Earth, and to deny entrance to Heaven. While originally an actual key, its form has been changed due to the actions of the Holy Church, and thus it appears as a silver, ornated Black Key. Against Christians, it will cause little to no damage at all. However, it is a very powerful weapon against pagans and those of Evil alignment. By binding the target to this land of suffering, wounds inflicted with this weapon cannot be healed, and will continue to hurt as long as the wounded does not accept Christ as their savior and/or changes their way of living. As a holy relic, it will naturally deal greater damage against demons, vampires and other unholy creatures.

Aurea Clavem - The Power to Loose

    Anti-Unit, Rank EX

The other Key of Heaven, the golden key, which holds the power to loose one's binding to Earth. It can only be used against a Servant who fits two requirements: they must have faith in Christ, and be of Good alignment. Taking the form of a ornated, golden Black Key, it is the key that opens the gates of heaven to those that are found to be worthy. When used against a fitting target, it will immediately remove the Servant from the Holy Grail War, returning the information used for their summoning to the Throne of Heroes. There is no way to evade this effect. Not even the greatest amount of Magic Resistance or the most powerful Barrier Noble Phantasm can interfere with this effect, because it is not an attack, but a reward granted to those of great virtue and faith.

I like how you basically made a Servant who wins against the vast majority of Age of Man Servants but just instantly loses to any from the Age of the Gods (except Diarmuid maybe).

It's not like Peter ever used a sword while alive for anything other than cutting off some random dude's ear.

Plus, I think Caster class skills suit him better.

Diarmuid's from the 2-3rd century, fairly certain that's not AoG

    Yeah everyone thinks that.

“Plus, we’ve even prepared a Noble Phantasm as a relic... and if itcame down to it, we could use it as a weapon ourselves.”
“Indeed we could. If we are to call forth Shi Huangdi, we must be
prepared to demonstrate a proper degree of respect.”

ASked this question at Space Battles and decided to have the Nasu focused people tare into it.

The question is can people from rhw 20th century be able skit by the soul/hero rule in Nasu of being too young just by how great of an influence they've had?

Three people I think could slick by are:
1: Neil Armstrong who touched the stars, 2: Walt Disney who showed us magic and how to dream, 3: Albert Einstein who is a synonym for genius and intelligence.
See me wasting my life on fanfics here.

Probably excluded because modern technology. Also pretty far from "the one and only".

I want to say that Einstein is also "nope", but he might get in by the same mysterious logic that allowed Shakespeare.

    1) Let them train for a bit and put them in a rocket and the average person could replicate this, 2) So have the Turners, the Warners, and just about anybody with a bit of money and a modicum of creativity, 3) so are people like Stephen Hawking

Well at least Einstein has the fact that people literally use his name as an adjective, even if only in sarcasm.

I don't see how you could even remotely argue for Disney, by comparison.

Besides, the urban legend of Disney actually being cryogenically frozen probably would be real in Nasuland and so he's not dead, just next door to Hakuno Kishinami.

It's pretty weird that some random person like Hakuno was frozen, now that I think about it.

Then again I guess it's also kind of weird that Twice was literally the only person in the world that could do the operation on them. (Twice for Heroic Spirit?)

If you're taking that approach then Walt is also a seventeen year old tsundere child prodigy. One that probably looks exactly like Tohsaka.

Taking Apocrypha and Extra into account I really don't see why you would have someone like CCC Caster but not Walt Disney or Shakespeare but definitely no Einstein.

We don't know if CCC Caster is actually a legit Heroic Spirit, I think. Moon Cell has records of people that aren't.
