Is a reworking of an old sheet allowed if said sheet was posted on another site (SufficientVelocity in my case) rather than BL?

I checked the rules, they didn't say anything about the sheet originally being posted somewhere else than BL, so I'd guess it's allowed provided I link back to where I posted the original

    What sheets are allowed?

    Reposts of your older sheets.
    Reworks of your older sheets.
Alternative Classes of your older sheets.
    Reworks of Canon FGO Servants.
Alternative Classes of Canon FGO Servants.
Seasonal or Special Alts of your older sheets or Canon FGO Servants. (Alter, Lostbelt, Summer, Christmas, Valentines, New Year, Easter, etc.)

What you consider a "rework" is up to you. Grammar, concept, formatting, all counts. It is your rework after all.

If you are someone that posted Servants on other sites (reddit, amino, spacebattles, …), but not here, as long as you can show us that it was you who created it, you can use them too

Berserker of Radioactivity - Marie Curie

A/N: I'll confess she's pretty powerful for a modern Servant (though not so much without the stat boosts), however if Tesla can be that powerful than Marie Curie certainly deserves to be, and while radioactivity packs a huge punch it does come with massive drawbacks

    Berserker of Radioactivity

"You want some mindless Berserker, or a demure little Science Caster? Well too bad, face the power of the atom!"

(By NeoArtCore. Click picture for link)
    Large Image(Source)

    Original Sheet
    True Name: Marie Skłodowska-Curie
Alternate Classes: Launcher for certain if that was ever a real Class. Though not a killer in life she might qualify as Assassin with her main weapon being poison. Rider, Caster, and Archer through atomic rays.
    Source: History
Region: Poland and France, but famous worldwide.
Catalyst: Her two Nobel Prizes melted down together.
Armament: Radioactive vials, miasma, and now her own fists and legs after mutation

Character: The genius scientist who discovered radioactivity, who pushed the human limit by tirelessly and selflessly studying radiation for both the sake of science and its power to heal and bring progress to humanity. A classic mad scientist in every way, except that she used her mind-shattering advancements for good, trying to harm none but herself.

"Stand back, radioactivity's mine to take on alone!"

Due to Mad Enhancement, her normally reserved if not mousy demeanour has given way to her coarser impulses, taking away any reluctance to fight she may’ve had, and turning her previous urge towards self-endangerment for a greater cause into full-blown recklessness. Speaking of the id dominating, while she did pursue younger men in her day, any tact she may have had towards flirting, her now much more open in her interests. Her passion for science and mad genius however hasn’t dimmed in the slightest, though her ideas may’ve gotten even kookier, as she’ll try to find a way to work radiation in as the solution to any problem.

"Hey there boy, why are you playing with girls when you could be with a real woman? And by a real woman, I man a deadly, musclebound scientist, yeah."

If anything can get her as angry as your traditional Berserker though, it’s learning about the immense destruction that radioactivity has since been used to unleash upon the world. People dying in nuclear blasts, nature made uninhabitable by radiation, the world spending decades fearing nuclear Armageddon, all over something she never meant to harm any other person with.

"Bastards who toy with radiation won't be laughing when I put them on the receiving end!"

    Attribute: Star.
    Alignment: Insane Good.
Likes: Mad science, her late husband, young men
Dislikes: Useless Prizes, scientists with too much ego, abuse of science

    Relationships:
    • Babbage: “Steam or radiation? Wonder which has helped and hurt more people in the long run…”
    • Tesla: “You harnessed the ‘Power of the Skies’? Try the Power of Stars!”
    • Goethe: “Well you were certainly cute in your younger days; pity you don’t seem to think so.”
    • Chatelet: “Heh, I got so much disrespect at the turn of the Twentieth century, props for you dealing with all that shit back in the 18th.”
    • Ngunaitponi: “Perpetual motion, huh? Seems like a pipe dream but go for it if you think you’ve got a shot.”
    • Cathy Morland: “Ugh, people like you is where radiation gets this whole monster and zombie image from.”
    • Berlioz: “Grr, get your infernal orchestra off Pierre! Anyway, Chopin’s better.”

Master: Simply having a Master presents an immediate problem for her, given the radiation she emits could pose an inherent danger to them. If her Master doesn’t have a form of shielding or other way to block radiation, then Berserker will insist on going out into battle on her own to maximise distance.
If accidentally poisoning her own Master weren’t an issue, she’d prefer a younger and prettier twentysomething man, though one who wouldn’t get insecure about her genius.

Natural Enemy: Karna and Arjuna’s Astras make her a little wary of them.
Wish: That no harm would've ever come, or at least will ever come again, from radiation.
Rarity: 3/5. Surprisingly high by modern Servant standards, due to most of the items linked with her now being highly contaminated.

    Parameters
    • Strength: ***** D -> B -> A
    • Endurance: ***** B -> A -> A+
    • Agility: ***** D -> C -> B
    • Magic: ***** E
    • Luck: ***** C
    • Noble Phantasm: ***** A

(Strength, Endurance, and Agility boosted by Mad Enhancement, then again by her second Noble Phantasm transforming her. Luck is C on average, due to having many accomplishments and tragedies throughout her life.)

    Class Skills

    Mad Enhancement
Exchanges sanity and reason for boosted power.
    • Rank D -> C: The Servant's intellect remains intact, as a scientific genius like Berserker cannot so easily fall into thoughtlessness. However, any sense of caution or self-preservation she may have still had are eliminated. Her psyche is warped enough so that any idea she has will now become utter mad science. Strength, Endurance and Agility go up a rank. However, seeing science used for evil purposes boosts her Madness further into sheer rage, raising Strength another Rank.

    Personal Skills

    Eternal Science Mastery

Mastery of fields of science has reached the point of being unrivalled in one’s era. Prevents degradation of scientific knowledge under the effects of mental hindrance.
    • Rank A: Berserker is to this day the only person to win two Nobel Prizes in separate sciences, Physics and Chemistry, and the first female Nobel winner and lecturer at the Academy of Sorbonne.

    Pioneer of the Stars

Skill that denotes one has become a turning point in human history, able to turn all that is 'impossible' 'possible'.
    • Rank EX: Responsible for the discovery of radioactivity, the same power of the atom that bursts forth from the stars, hence opening the doorway to nuclear science. Some of the major events of her time and beyond owe themselves to her, albeit many of them against her wishes.

    Poison Resistance

    Skill to endure poison.
    • Rank B: Berserker may not have been fully immune to radiation, as she did ultimately die from a bone marrow illness likely caused by it. However, she was able to survive its effects in a poorly protected environment for far longer than most would, having lived into her sixties.

    Single-Mindedness

Ability to achieve an intense level of focus.
    • Rank B -> A: Berserker was already a tireless, self-sacrificing worker in life. However, with this skill being able to sync surprisingly well with Mad Enhancement due to the power of obsession, it has been boosted by one Rank, giving Berserker unrelenting focus.

    Noble Phantasms

    Radioaktivitet (True)
The Power of the Stars in Human Hands

    Rank: A
    Type: Up to Anti-Fortress

‘Radioactivity’, the breakdown of the atom and the disastrous contamination that comes with it, named and extensively studied by Marie Curie. She was the one who discovered that radioactivity emerges from atoms on their own, rather than their interactions between each other. This in turn revolutionised scientific theory by showing that atoms were individual and splitable rather than a consistent mass.

A sickly green substance that forms an aura around Berserker, which can spread to anything she touches should she not take precaution. If left unchecked and uncontained, her radioactive aura it can greatly weaken, poison, and ultimately kill anyone who comes into proximity with her, or in contact with any object touched by her. The radioactivity can also be channelled into energy rays she fires from her palms, and at the utmost extent of its power, create a city-levelling explosion. That last one however is incredibly unlikely to even be used by Berserker, even at her maddest, and could be a bad move practically too since it could risk giving the Grail War away. Radioactivity also has the ability to heal through chemotherapy, something Mad Enhancement would normally make hard to apply, but her Skills can counteract that.

While devastating to her enemies, this Phantasm makes it somewhat awkward for Berserker to maintain allies, given the risk of poisoning all of them. Other Servants would be relatively more resistant to radioactivity, but they’d still have to watch out for their Masters being contaminated. Even Berserker herself is not immune to the effects of her own Noble Phantasm, given she did end up dying from radiation poisoning, however her Poison Resistance Skill does significantly delay her own deterioration.

    Radioaktivitet (False)
The Power of the Stars in Human Minds

    Rank: B
    Type: Up to Anti-Fortress

Despite the debilitating effects of radiation in real life, in the mid-20th century after the launching of the first atom bombs, radiation’s stature in the public imagination rose to an obsessive level, given it could bring about the end of the world. However, actual understanding of radiation did not, keeping its Mystery intact. This lead to radioactivity becoming a common source of superpowers in fiction, be it for new heroes, giant monsters, both at once, and swathes of nuclear zombies.

This is an alternate form of Berserker’s previous Phantasm, but whereas that was based on radioactivity's scientific real-life effects, this one takes from the image of radioactivity in fiction. It is comparable to if the Innocent Monster skill were applied to a Noble Phantasm, being Ranked down due to its more dubious nature.

Should anything survive a direct hit by her first Phantasm through an Endurance or Luck check, they can find themselves unrecognisably altered, with regular people and animals gaining superhuman powers, or becoming able to give others superpowers. If they survive higher doses, they can find themselves transformed into monstrous mutants or growing to the size of skyscrapers.

This along with Mad Enhancement is likely responsible for her own altered appearance, now having become increasingly more statuesque and muscular. Without Mad Enhancement she might’ve been shocked to assume this form, but with it she finds her newfound titanic physique much easier to accept, more so as quite a few people are attracted to it. While she’d need the power of a Command Seal to do so, she is able to grow to giant size using this Phantasm, though the potential collateral damage makes this unwise.

    Lore
Saber’s True Name is Minamoto no Yorimitsu, also known as Minamoto no Raikou. She was a famous samurai, known as the great slayer of yokai of Japan’s Heian Period. She is considered the founder of the Settsu-Genji line, and further known historically as a great lord and military commander. Her most famous feats are the slaying of great monstrosities such as Shuten-douji of Mount Ooe, the Tsuchigumo of Kyoto, and the Ushi-oni of Sensou-ji Temple.
Unknown to history, Raikou was born as the daughter of Gozu Tennou, the ox-headed god of disease and lightning storms. Due to certain reasons, Raikou was rejected by her human father, Minamoto no Mitsunaka, as a result of her inhuman heritage. Raikou was sent away to be raised by monks in a remote temple. There she grew into a peerless warrior, possessing inhuman strength, skill, and insight. Disappointed in the capabilities of his human sons, Raikou’s younger brothers, Mitsunaka sent for Raikou to be brought before him. At age 15, Raikou was made his heir, and quickly crushed any dissent over her gender and mysterious origins through her military competence, strict demeanor, and inhuman strength. Her service to the Fujiwara clan led her to acquire great wealth and prestige, earning governorships over Izu, Kozuke, and Settsu. She was also made commander of a regiment of the Imperial Guard, and a secretary in the Ministry of War. It was during this time that Raikou began to gather her four legendary retainers, known as the Shintennou; Watanabe no Tsuna, Usui no Sadamitsu, Urabe no Suetake, and Sakata no Kintoki. In spite of her strict and stern persona, and the distance that existed between her and nearly every human she encountered, Raikou could be said to have stumbled into the role of a mother figure to her young retainers. She refined their inhuman talents to the level of her own, and led them on countless monster exterminations across Japan.
Raikou’s feats of monster slaying are many, but the most famous are as follows. Firstly, there was the slaying of the bandits of Mount Ooe; a group of fierce, man-eating oni who preyed upon travelers near the capital city of Kyoto. Disguising themselves as monks, Raikou and the Shitennou infiltrated the bandits fortress, plying them with poisoned wine to incapacitate them. Raikou is said to have sliced off the oni’s leader, Shuten-douji’s head with her famous blade, the Doujigiri Yasutsuna. The oni’s severed head then flew up and attempted to crush Raikou’s skull in its jaws, though her helmet managed to deflect the blow. Later, Raikou and Tsuna would go on to track down and slay the great Tsuchigumo, after it attempted to kill Raikou in her sleep. There is also the battle with the Ushi-Oni of Sensou-ji. The youkai, which in some tales is referred to as Raikou’s own younger brother, had set out to build a nation of oni for itself to rule over in Suzugamori. Raikou and the Shitennou were sent to eliminate it, and after a lengthy battle, it is said to have thrown itself into the Asakusa River and transformed into a giant multi-legged ox creature. It was defeated after a great struggle, where Raikou herself is said to have been gravely wounded for the first and only time in her life.
Later on, Raikou met the nobleman Fujiwara no Michinaga. Her great admiration for the man led her to become one of his close advisors, as she took on a greater role in the imperial court. During this period, Raikou came to be known as the “Protector of the Imperial Family”.
After a long-life of combatting yokai and esteemed service in the Imperial Court, Raikou died in old age, succeeded by many descendants.

Likes: Peaceful and Orderly Society, Strong Public Morals, Her Four Heavenly Kings, the Works of Shikibu Murasaki
Dislikes: Immoral Behavior, Shuten-douji, Disorderly Conduct, Oni, Her Direct Blood Relatives, Shuten-douji
Talent: Upholding Public Order, Slaying Monsters, The Daily Work of Governance

    Personality:
When summoned in the Saber class, Raikou’s personality manifests in her prime aspect as the Lord of the Genji. Stern, strict, and commanding, she is a powerful and relentless slayer of demons, a hero who preserves order and civilization against all sorts of monstrosities. She is someone who follows absolutely the laws and prohibitions of human society, strictly enforcing morality and orderly conduct in herself and those around her. That being said, she is a truly good and friendly person at heart, and in times of peace she acts as a generous host, a benevolent lord, and a wonderful conversationalist.
She is an elegant and well-spoken lady of the court, who excels on both the battlefield and the halls of governance. She is remembered as the pride of the Genji, and her contemporaries and successors spoke highly of her perfect manners and noble bearing. She can be a harsh taskmistress, but is an incredibly loyal commander, and will never leave a comrade or innocent in danger so long as she can still move her body. She is also incredibly fond of children, and even her stern facade will crack in the face of childish innocence and affection.
Due to her inhuman origins, her perspective is inherently removed from that of a human. For her entire life, she felt distanced from humanity, and never sat comfortably among them, no matter how calm and respectable she appeared from the outside. The main reason for her strict and harsh outward persona, her uncompromising adherence to rules and structures, and her natural as an absolute workaholic, is to create a sort of “framework” in which to operate within human society. To resist her own instinctive temptations, to prevent herself from destroying that which she has sworn to protect, Raikou buries herself in work and restrictions, a cage of her own making. In regards to her demonic blood, Raikou rarely acknowledges its existence. Even if she is a demon, she will not indulge in her impulses, and she will not wield the power that comes with them, no matter the circumstances.
The only exception to Raikou’s isolation is the Shitennou, her Four Heavenly Kings. As fellow outcasts to human society, Raikou was able to relax around them in a way she could otherwise never allow herself, and they came to be her true family. This was especially true of Sakato no Kintoki, a similarly inhuman existence who loved humanity even more than she did. As the person who largely raised him, she is incredibly proud of who he and the others became.
The inverse of this is Raikou’s feelings towards her own family. She generally refuses to speak or even think about them, but suffice to say, she despises and is repulsed by them. Her father, who discarded and abused her. Her brothers, who neglected and envied her. Her “blood” children, who she cannot bring herself to remember. The only exception is her mother, who died bringing her into this world; who died loving her in spite of her inhumanity. Perhaps this is why Raikou so idolizes the role and duty of motherhood, which she herself was so denied.
Raikou’s wish for the Holy Grail is the absolute eradication of evil. Obviously, such a wish is impossible to achieve, so she will settle with exterminating all beings who commit evil beyond a certain threshold. Actually implementing this wish will be incredibly difficult, but Raikou remains confident in her abilities.

    Class Skills:

    Magic Resistance: B+
Grants protection against magical effects. Differing from a resistance effect that merely rejects magical energy, this ability cancels the spells altogether. Cancels spells with a chant below three verses. Even High-Thaumaturgy and Greater Rituals have a limited effect. As a demigod and famed slayer of supernatural creatures, Raikou possesses this skill at high rank. It is especially effective at repelling magical effects of demonic origin.

    Riding: B
The ability to ride mounts and vehicles. At this rank, most vehicles and animals can be handled with above average skill, even vehicles that did not exist in the time period one was alive in. However, the user cannot ride the likes of Phantasmal Species such as Monstrous Beasts. Raikou was a skilled horsewoman, so she is skilled in handling mounts.

    Personal Skills:

    Divinity: C
The measure of one’s divine attributes. At higher levels, one is considered to be of mixed race with a divine spirit. Divinity can be used as a measure of a person's strengths and natural talents, and can grant resistances, advantages, or disadvantages against certain abilities or Noble Phantasms. Raikou was the conceptual daughter of the ox-headed god of disease and lightning storms, Gozu Tennou, and so possessed supernatural abilities.

    Youkai Extermination: A+
A unique skill possessed by the woman who has slain all youkai who dwell underneath the heavens. As the preeminent slayer of Mystery of Japanese history, Raikou’s very existence is anathema to beings of Mystery. Nonhuman entities whose beings are tied to the existence of Mystery, particularly those of demonic origin, will receive greatly increased damage from Raikou’s attacks, and their own attacks against her will be blunted and weakened in effect. An ability equal, if not superior, to the Anti-Mystery abilities of the infamous Demon King of the Sixth Heaven, Oda Nobunaga.

    Eternal Arms Mastery: B+
A mastery of martial arts which goes beyond the limits of human ability. This ability also allows the user to fight at full capability at all times, no matter what mental interferences or sensory disruptions they may be suffering from. At this rank, one can wield all weapons from their cultural sphere with the skill of a true master. Additionally, foreign weapons can be quickly learned and honed to a high level of skill, provided time to practice is found. Raikou was a supernaturally talented warrior, who excelled in all forms of combat. She possesses a particular affinity for magical weapons with additional supernatural abilities.

    Mana Burst (Lightning): A
The ability to increase one’s performance by infusing one's body and weapons with magical lighting and expelling it. At Rank A, even a normal everyday object, or even one’s bare limbs, can be empowered to attack at a level on par with a Noble Phantasm with the lightning attribute. As Gozu Tennou has taken on the attribute of a god of lightning storms, due to his association with the storm gods Indra and Susano’o, Raikou has inherited the ability to manifest lightning from her body and weapons through the power of her divine father.

    Oni-Kind Blood: --
A skill possessed by those who hold the demonic nature of an Oni, representing their unique existence and abilities as such. By the insistence of the owner, this skill has been sealed away.

    Noble Phantasm

    Dōjigiri Yasutsuna
    - Execution of All Demons Under Heaven: (Rank A, Anti-Unit/Anti-Mystery)

Raikou’s most famous sword, greatest among the Tenka Gouken, the most superb blade of the Genji Clan. The blade of execution, which brings death to all monsters who threaten human life. It is said to cleave through human bodies as easily as air, and to bring death to even the strongest oni in a single blow. It was named for its most famous feat; cleaving off the head of the great oni Shuten-douji in a single blow. As the ultimate weapon of extermination against yokai, it of course possesses an immense conceptual advantage against demonic or monstrous lifeforms. However, its true ability is to cut apart and “execute” Mystery itself.
As the weapon which exterminated nearly all of the yokai who threatened the peace of the Heian Period of Japan, the sword served as executioner to the concept of Mystery itself, rapidly bringing about the conclusion of the Age of Gods in Japan, which had lingered far longer in the isolated island chain than in most places across the world. When the sword’s True Name is released, all supernatural phenomena of equal or lesser rank which come into contact with the blade are automatically cleaved in two. Spells, Bounded Fields, and even supernatural creatures of insufficient rank are instantly cut apart through this effect. It is a blade of execution which strikes down anything that would threaten the safety of human civilization.
Curiously, the sword’s effects against Shuten-douji herself are no greater than they would be against any other supernatural entity of her level. It lacks any conceptual advantage against the oni whose death it is named for.

    Link

    Onimatsuri Kabuto
    - Devouring Demon Helm: (Rank C, Anti-Unit)

The famed helmet of the demon slayer Minamoto no Yorimitsu. During Raikou’s famous battle against the great oni Shuten-douji, this helmet saved Raikou’s life. After Shuten-douji’s head was removed from her body, Shuten-douji launched one final attack, aiming to bite through Raikou’s skull with her fangs. The attack was deflected by Raikou’s helmet, saving her life. The helm has become a symbol of Raikou’s legendary figure.
As a Noble Phantasm, the helmet possesses the ability to deflect a single killing blow which Raikou has failed to dodge or deflect. In exchange for saving Raikou’s life, the helmet will shatter; serving as a one-time safety net. However, the helmet’s ability will only work against a single blow. Against a continuous attack or a flurry of consecutive blows, the helmet will only deflect the initial impact, before shattering and leaving Raikou unprotected.
This Noble Phantasm’s ability will remain in effect even if Raikou does not wear the helmet, but it must remain within 30 feet of her if it is materialized. Its effects cannot be shared with another individual under normal circumstances.

Tactics: Raikou is a very powerful servant. She is powerful, versatile, and incredibly skilled in combat. Her anti-Mystery abilities are incredibly powerful against other Servants, mages, or Phantasmal Species, and she holds an absolute conceptual advantage against Oni and other Yokai. Her greatest weakness is her own inflexible nature, and difficulty in working together with those who do not share her moral code.

    Relationships/Reactions:

    Sakata no Kintoki
One of her main vassals, as well as her adopted son. She tries to be strict and firm with him, in the interest of professionalism as his superior, but she doesn’t quite manage it. The two are clearly extremely close. Among her children, he is considered the "rambunctous" one.

    Watanabe no Tsuna
One of her main vassals. A strict and consciences man, who she can rely on for anything. Among her children, he is considered the "responsible" one.

    Urabe no Suetake
One of her main vassals. A man with a dour and unreliable exterior, who possesses incredible talent when the chips are down. Wrangling it out of him is Raikou's duty as his lord. Among her children, he is considered the "anti-social" one.

    Usui no Sadamitsu
One of her main vassals. A calm, mature woman, who is also a bit of a trickster. She is the eldest of the Four Heavenly Kings, and holds of the position of "older sister". Among her children, she is considered the "mature" one, but is also usually the instigator.

    Shuten-douji
A monster who terrorizes humanity. Obviously, she must be exterminated immediately.
…In truth, their relationship is more than this. Shuten-douji represents an absolute release of inhibition; the embodiment of indulging one’s desires. She is everything Raikou cannot allow herself to be. Disdain. Envy, Jealousy, Yearning. Hatred. Admiration. Self-loathing.
…On top of all this, she seems to be in love with Raikou’s precious little boy. Please pray for a mother in distress.

    Ibaraki-douji
A monster who terrorizes humanity. She is more active than Shuten-douji, but tends to be less violent against civilians. She will still be cut down on sight.

    Murasaki Shikibu
A good friend from the court, and an author she enjoys. The two get along well, though Murasaki tends to be awkward after a youkai slaying expedition. Curious.

    Tamamo-no-Mae
A monster who must be eliminated, and a sympathetic victim of similar circumstances. It’s unlikely Raikou can tolerate her existence, but killing her is not something Raikou truly desires.

    Xuanzang Sanzang
Despite their very different personalities, they are extremely good friends. Sanzang’s ability to indulge herself in her passions without harming others is surprisingly satisfying to someone who is so tightly restrained.

    Artoria Pendragon
A very similar existence, and a woman of similar tastes, ideals, and position. They would normally get along quite well, but their very complicated relationships with parenthood create friction between them. Neither of them like to admit to this.

    Shuten-douji, Ibaraki-douji
“What words would I have for such worms?”

    Xuanzang Sanzang
“For such a great devotee of the Buddha, she is quite shameless…though I can’t say I dislike that about her.”

    Certain Promiscuous Individuals
“Shameless! At least cover yourselves while there are children present!”

    Lancelot du Lac
“I don’t dislike him at all, but marriage is…”

Minamoto no Yorimitsu has answered your call. I am the divine blade which slaughters all evil. If you are of the same mind, we may become comrades in this battle.

    Bond Level 2:
It’s important to always be courteous, and to always act with decency and propriety. If we don’t uphold such things, we will be no better than demons. Peace cannot last in a lawless society.

    Bond Level 3:
It is important to maintain a professional demeanor while one is working. By that same token, it is important to relax and enjoy one’s leisure time when the situation allows.
…I’ve never been very good at the latter, for a variety of reasons. My children would always lecture me to enjoy my time off rather than just find more work to do. Even dear Tsuna, who was just as conscientious as I was.

    …What sweet children they were.

    Bond Level 4:
I must thank you for recommending these pieces of literature to me. They’re very similar to what Lady Kaoruko enjoyed. Maybe we could start some sort of club for books if we ever meet again?
I also love these “bookmarks''. Perfect for remembering your place whenever you need to deal with any spontaneous yokai attacks. They’re more common than you would think!

    Bond Level 5:
Is moral corruption…something that humans cannot ever escape?
Considering I’m not even a human myself, I suppose it’s foolish to expect otherwise of them. I know from experience that it’s foolish to expect humans to live in the way I would wish them to, no matter how good or ill my intentions. That is a part of what makes them “human” in the first place. Even I feel such temptation, at times. Most of the time…
Even so, I won’t give up. Nor should you, or anyone else who believes in humanity’s goodness. If our goal is impossible, then it simply falls to us to find a way to make it possible.
I’m happy to have met someone like you, who feels the same way I do. You’ll never understand how much that means to me.
…Even if you are prone to indecency now and then, fufu.

    Sword of Extermination

--The blade was forged to kill demons; to slay every monster that would threaten human civilization. The great wrath of heaven, descending upon those who could not live within the bounds of the Human Order.

In truth, she was no more capable of living within the bounds of humanity than the yokai. Her strength, her desires, her self-control, her resolve… All of these things far surpassed the limits of humanity.
She lived among them, yet apart from them. She protected them from that which would threaten their peaceful lives, with the strength that they could never comprehend.

--She never regretted that decision. Even without her titles. Even without her legends and fame. Even without her dearest children, who she loved more than life itself. She would always go down this path of solitude, because that thing she could not embrace, that thing she could not touch, was something truly precious.

    Creator's Notes
First sheet complete! The formatting was annoying, but not as bad as I'd expected.

The purpose of this sheet is to put to paper the concept of "sane Raikou". It's basically my take on how she would cope with her trauma and find a way to live within human society (despite her inhumanity) without the crutch of her madness. Otherwise, it's fairly straightforward.

I really want to make sheets for Sadamitsu and Suetake someday. I'll probably get around to it once Heian-kyo hits the NA server.

    Foreigner of the Boundary
-- A Cure for the Affliction that Awaits Us All --

"Good day, Master. Servant Foreigner has answered your call. You may call me Count von Cosel, and this is my loving wife, Elena. Why don't you introduce yourself, dear?"
    "..."
"Ahaha, do excuse her, she can be rather shy around strangers. No matter, I love you all the same. Ahem, now then, you wouldn't happen to have a doctor's office I can use around here, would you? The next step of my research awaits! Let us delve deeper into the unknown for the good of humanity!"

"Physician's log, day 7. One week since summoning, initial examinations complete. It appears that manifestation as these so-called 'Ghost Liners' can only do so much. No physical abnormalities detected. If anything, the Throne supposedly allowed us to manifest as we were during the prime of our lives, subjective as the term may be. This takes care of certain issues, but the core problem remains; the soul is still... hollow. Is it because the world specifically remembered her in that state?"
    ...
"No. This won't do. Not at all. These findings are worthless. Scrap everything and start all over again. Please wait just a little longer, my love. Even if I must commit heresies upon heresies, I'll save you for sure. We've all lived in fear of the end for far too long. It's about time we conquer it, once and for all."

    Class Skills
Entity of the Outer Realm (A-)

A skill of those under the Foreigner class, signifying contact with a being beyond human comprehension and asserting one's existence outside of time and reality. Foreigner is contracted to Zo-Kalar, a god of life, death, and the mortal cycle. Manifesting traits of his patron god, Foreigner gains knowledge and partial resistance against magecraft embodying the concepts of life, death, and the afterlife. At this rank, his knowledge and skill is almost unparalleled, allowing him to reflect spells and modify them on the fly. Using the transference of
    Od
    life energy
combined with Zo-Kalar's authority, it is possible for Foreigner to devise both potent healing spells and deadly curses that rapidly drain the target's life force. However, due to limitations from the Counter Force, Foreigner cannot cross the absolute barrier between life and death, preventing him from achieving his wish. This limitation may be circumvented by merging the human World with Dreamlands, bringing Zo-Kalar into the world. Doing so would most likely result in disastrous consequences of apocalyptic proportions.

"A calculated risk, I assure you. I understand your concerns with my association with a being so far removed from human understanding, but when you think about it... can't the same be said for the entirety of science? We strive to turn the unknown into the known, braving through uncharted waters and testing the limits of what man ever thought possible, all for the sake of humanity itself. No advancement comes without risk, and for an ambition as large as my own, it's only fair that I take this leap of faith. Fear not, Master; I have no desire to conquer or doom the world. Only to save it; for her sake, and so many others."

    Divinity (D)

The measure of whether one has Divine Spirit aptitude or not. At high levels, one is treated as a mixed race of a Divine Spirit, and the level declines when the Heroic Spirit's own rank as a Monster or Demonic Beast raises. The encounter with his patron god granted Foreigner a portion of its divinity. That said, its rank is severely diminished due to Foreigner's human body and recent origins.

"Pathetic. If this is their way of 'tempting me into the dark side' or whatever, I expected a lot more from a so-called 'Great One'. What value is there in divinity if it couldn't even help me save one person!? Aren't deities supposed to be all-powerful!? Disappointing. With such miracles out of the question, it appears I'll have to rely on more orthodox methods at the moment. Prepare the equipment, let's begin today's experiment."

    Insanity (C)

A Skill similar to Mental Pollution, gained from contracting with an otherworldly god that can easily erode the fragile common sense and morals of humans. Yet while the mere presence of the entity would normally be enough to drive most humans insane, Foreigner resisted its influence, qualifying him for the Class. At first glance, Foreigner is seemingly unaffected by the Great One's influence, conducting himself as a calm and composed gentleman. Yet even without its influence, it's hard to say that Foreigner was ever truly "sane" to begin with. Foreigner's insanity manifests itself as a powerful sense of longing, the desire to reunite with a long-lost loved one to the point of mad obsession. One man's persistent wish to save his love, someone eternally closer than "now", yet further than "eternity".

Incidentally, this Skill also manifests an effect similar to A-rank Devotion, although Foreigner does not qualify for the Lover-Class.

"Now, now, there is nothing insane about my motives, Master. Love. It allows us to move mountains, weather storms, and stare down beings from foreign realms. It is through the power of love that these hands shall create a miracle that will change the world forevermore. Aah, to defy the fundamental laws of the world and pierce through the boundary of life and death, all in the name of true love! Tell me, darling, is there a love more beautiful than ours?"
    "..."

    At the Boundary (-/A)

A Skill for those who walk within the Valley, are as one with Death, and are familiar with its ways. Rather than "walking alongside death" like a certain Old Man, the influence of Foreigner's patron god allows him to transcend the very concept of life and death altogether, granting him immunity to instant death effects and a small chance of inflicting instant death through normal attacks. Curiously enough, perhaps due to the limitations of his own body, Foreigner shows no sign of possessing this Skill. Rather, this Skill is seemingly possessed by Foreigner's partner, "Elena".

"As a doctor, I am very familiar with death, yes. It is a sickness that plagues us all since time immemorial. With every person I failed to save, I grew to resent it even more, and Elena was the straw that broke the camel's back. Something had to be done. Just as death had followed humanity since the beginning of time, so did humans have been overcoming impossibilities after impossibilities. We flew. We walked on the ocean floor. We connected the entire world together. We set foot on the moon. So... what's one more impossibility to conquer? Just one more, a little bit more... for her sake."

    Personal Skills
    Combination (Odd) (B)

A Skill that displays how much one's combat power increases when on a united front with a specific person. As husband and wife, Foreigner works exceptionally well with Elena. No matter what sort of severe battlefield, they will be able to grasp each other's actions with a single gaze and then take the most suitable move. In battle, Foreigner normally observes the enemy's movements and analyzes their capabilities, while Elena executes his plans with powerful spells. The two could also perform complex battle maneuvers using their spells in perfect synchronization. Foreigner claims that as two people who spent a lifetime together, it's only natural to possess this Skill.

...Or so it seems. There is something fundamentally... off about their combination. For one, Elena's movements, while precise, seem less human and more mechanical, akin to a string puppet manipulated by a maestro on stage. Her unnervingly silent demeanor and constantly veiled face also does not help matters regarding her unsettling aura. Either way, it's best not to talk to Foreigner regarding these issues.

"Nothing strange here. This too is but another symbol of our love. We're practically two halves of a whole! To know exactly what your beloved has in mind, all without a single glance... it is a wonderful feeling. Say, have you ever felt the same thing, Master? If you ever come across that special someone who made you feel that way... cherish them. Don't ever let them go, for the rest of your life."

Understanding of the Human Body (B)

A Skill that allows one to have a grasp of the inner workings of the human body, like a piece of precision machinery. All actions intended to heal through Skills, magecraft, etc. are improved. One is able to target enemy vitals with extreme precision, and all damage inflicted is increased. In addition, all damage received by the user is reduced. An accomplished physician who would do anything to save his patients, Foreigner possesses extensive knowledge on human anatomy and biological processes, as well as how to exploit them. An innate skill further enhanced by his contract with Zo-Kalar, allowing him to grasp the essence of life and death itself.

"My Hippocratic oath? Don't worry, I am still a doctor first and foremost. I treat my patients with the highest regard, and I'll do everything in my power so that they may live. My experiments, on the other hand... I mainly conduct them on corpses and cadavers, as per the Great One's instructions. My wife can attest to these procedures."
    "..."
"See? I inflict no harm upon them. The dead are free of pain, after all. I made sure to address each subject with gratitude, knowing that it is through my research, through their bodies, that humanity will finally be saved."

    Magecraft (C++)

Knowledge about modern Thaumaturgy. When his skills as a physician failed him, Foreigner resorted to the occult in pursuit of his wish. While his magecraft should normally have been abysmally weak due to his recent origins, it received considerable boost from his contact with Zo-Kalar. Foreigner is familiar with several types of basic magecraft, but he primarily excels in necromancy and spiritual evocation, arts that blur the lines between life and death.

"As I said before, isn't it natural for humans to look for new answers and avenues for inquiry when existing ones led them nowhere? When existing sciences failed to bring her back, I had to walk down the roads less traveled. I came across magecraft and the supernatural quite late in my life, and I'm nothing but an amateur in comparison to the many legendary mages you have here, but this newfound knowledge still granted me several new... opportunities I'd like to try out in this second life."

    Corpse Preservation (A++)

The ability to forcibly bind the dead within the world of the living, a blasphemous act that rejects the concept of "death" altogether. Using a mixture of his own medical expertise, magecraft, and Zo-Kalar's authority, Foreigner possesses unmatched talent in preserving dead bodies. While its effects are strictly limited to significantly delaying the decomposition process when used on deceased humans, it possesses a different effect when used on Heroic Spirits. When this Skill is used on a Heroic Spirit who received fatal injury or permanently damaged spirit core, it forcibly binds the spirit into the world, preventing them from returning to the Throne. Even as their limbs fall off, as their minds decay, wishing for the sweet release of death... As long as the tiniest sliver of their spirit core remains, they must continue to fight, akin to a warped version of Battle Continuation. Once this Skill is activated, "the right to die" becomes an unattainable concept to the target, unless Foreigner wills it.

"No, no, no! Another dead-end! Worthless, all of it! The decomposition process is still too fast, and the conduit isn't strong enough to contain the gate opening any more than a measly 2%! Forgive me, Elena... I disappointed you and my patients once again... No. What am I saying? I can't stop yet. Not yet! This is just the beginning! I'll save you all soon enough from Thanatos' cold grasp! Yes, you'll just have to wait a little while longer... you there! Bring in the next cadaver! In the meantime, I should record my observations from this session. First of all, if I replace this organ here before modifying the ritual..."
    "..."

    Noble Phantasm(s)
Sorrowful Marionette Transcending the Absolute Boundary
    Elena

"A troublesome patient... I suppose it would be foolish of me to expect everyone to understand our ideals so easily. My apologies, I'll commence treatment right away. Why don't you do the honors, dear? I'll back you up as usual."
    "..."
"Yes, just like that. Sleep and sink into the void. I'll wake you up once this whole thing is over."

    Alternate/3rd ascension NP line
"You dare stand in our way? Just why...? knowing just how fleeting this life is, how much pain and sorrow death inflicts upon you and your loved ones, why!? Why would you want to live under a world as terrible as this one!?"
    "..."
"...You're right, dear. People like them are beyond help. I'll bring you back, even if it's the last thing I do. Commencing treatment. Open, gate to the distant Kadath. Descend, Great One of Sarnath. Now... Disappear."

    Type: Anti-Human/Anti-World
    Rank: EX
    Range: 1-?
    Max Targets: 100

The true nature of Foreigner's partner; a terminal that links the world with Zo-Kalar's realm. Empowered by Foreigner's fervent wish, this Noble Phantasm creates a paradox, an impossible state where the target is simultaneously alive and dead as Zo-Kalar's authority slowly overturns the established boundaries between the two, forcibly integrating the two concepts together. A partial release of this Noble Phantasm is constantly active, enveloping "Elena". This makes her effectively unkillable. Most attacks will harmlessly phase through her, and even if an attack connects, it would be akin to hitting a lifeless marionette; her dress may tear, her limbs may fall off, and her body may contort unnaturally, but these "damages" heal in seconds and barely effect her combat performance. After all, one cannot "kill what is already dead". The only way to bypass this Noble Phantasm is to utilize an attack that bypasses the concept of life and death together, utterly removing one's existence from the world. Another way to overcome this Noble Phantasm is to direct attacks toward Foreigner himself, who does not possess the same unliving/undead status. Doing so is much easier said than done, however, due to the perfect synchronization shared between Foreigner and "Elena".

This Noble Phantasm has a different, much more horrifying application when used offensively. Upon its activation, the enemy is inflicted with a similar unliving/undead status as "Elena". However, as the enemy still possesses a "soul", this status only shuts down the body, while keeping the consciousness intact, turning the body into an inescapable flesh prison, confronting the target with a sight of the incomprehensible void, rapidly driving them into madness. From an outsider perspective, it's akin to the ability to put the target into a state of suspended animation with a touch. Even once this Noble Phantasm is deactivated, as long as one possesses a "soul", they will suffer intense, irreversible damage to their psyche. This Noble Phantasm suffers from massive mana cost due to the world's corrective forces trying to shut it down, believing it to be "something that should not exist". However, with every target inflicted with this status, the mana cost lessens as the idea of "an incomprehensible, unending void" is introduced into mankind's collective unconscious. As the number of victims increase, a gateway into Dreamlands gradually opens, merging the two worlds together. In this state, Foreigner's surroundings may occasionally warp and flicker, revealing the scenery of a distant world filled with foreign structures and unspeakable creatures that may further erode one's sanity. Should this Noble Phantasm be allowed to reach its final stage, the world will be born anew, and perhaps Foreigner's wish can finally be granted...

    Lore
Count Carl Tanzler von Cosel (1877-1952) was a German-born radiologist, physician, magus, and erotomaniac. He developed an obsession for a young Cuban-American tuberculosis patient, Elena "Helen" Milagro de Hoyos (1909-1931), that carried on well after the disease had caused her death. In 1933, almost two years after her death, Tanzler removed Hoyos' body from its tomb, and lived with the corpse at his home for seven years until its discovery by Hoyos' relatives and authorities in 1940.

Tanzler was born and raised in Imperial Germany, but emigrated into the United States from Germany in 1926, sailing from Rotterdam to Cuba, then to Florida. There, he worked as a radiologist and physician at a local clinic. Throughout his youth, Tanzler claimed to have been visited by visions of a dead, purported ancestor, Countess Anna Constantia von Cosel, who revealed the face of his true love, an exotic dark-haired woman, to him. These purported visions instilled within him an interest towards the occult, and an obsession to find his destined true love.

On April 22, 1930, while working at the Marine Hospital in Key West, Tanzler met Maria Elena "Helen" Milagro de Hoyos (1909–1931), a local Cuban-American woman who had been brought to the hospital by her mother for an examination. Tanzler immediately recognized her as the beautiful dark-haired woman that had been revealed to him in his earlier "visions". For the next few months, Tanzler courted her, and the two were relatively close as doctor and patient. However, it's doubtful that Elena ever reciprocated Tanzler's romantic advances.

On 1931, Elena was diagnosed with tuberculosis, a typically fatal disease at the time. Mustering all of his medical knowledge, Tanzler tried to save her. Yet his best efforts weren't enough. Elena succumbed to tuberculosis on October 1931. Tanzler was devastated upon hearing news of her passing. He paid for her funeral, and with the permission of her family he then commissioned the construction of an above ground mausoleum in the Key West Cemetery, which he visited almost every night.

Unable to move on from his memories of Elena, Tanzler spent the following year looking for ways to contact her from beyond the grave. Unknown to history, he immersed himself in the occult, becoming familiar with the arts of spirit channeling and necromancy. Yet even then, it was not enough. Elena remained beyond his reach. Growing desperate, Tanzler sought even more obscure, unorthodox magecraft and rituals, anything to bring Elena back. It was then that a miracle happened, a one-in-a-million chance; something answered his call from a world beyond. The creature introduced itself as Zo-Kalar, a deity from the distant realm of Dreamlands. While Zo-Kalar initially planned to possess Tanzler and turn him into his terminal, his single-minded
    obsession
    love
allowed him to resist its influence. Thus sensing Tanzler's wish, instead Zo-Kalar proposed a contract: by merging the world together with Dreamlands, it would be possible for it to bring Elena back to life using its authority. Tanzler accepted the contract without question. However, in order to realize it, Zo-Kalar requires one thing; a conduit, a terminal that links the two worlds, marking the start of its conquest. Thus Tanzler set out to procure it.

One evening in April 1933, Tanzler crept through the cemetery where Elena was buried and removed her body from the mausoleum, carting it through the cemetery after dark on a toy wagon, and transporting it to his home. He reportedly said that Elena’s spirit would come to him when he would sit by her grave and serenade her corpse with a favorite Spanish song. He also said that she would often tell him to take her from the grave. The truth was much darker than that, of course; Elena's body was a "door" that linked the two worlds together, a way for Zo-Kalar to enter our realm.

For more than half a decade, Tanzler conducted rituals to bring about the emergence of Dreamlands upon Earth. He preserved Elena's body using several makeshift tools such as piano wires, glass eyes, silk, plaster, and perfumes. He adorned her with jewelries and a pure white dress, and reportedly danced with her body in front of an open window. Tanzler's crime was revealed in 1940 when Elena's sister confronted him at his house. Reporting her discovery to local authorities, Tanzler was arrested and placed in a mental asylum, while Elena's body was reclaimed by her family and buried once again.

Tanzler left the asylum four years later, in 1944. Yet even then, he refused to give up. With no access to Elena's true body, he began crafting a life-sized effigy of her to conduct his rituals. He lived with this effigy until his death in 1952. It was said that he was found dead under mysterious circumstances in his own home. He was found in the arms of Elena's effigy, with no proper explanation on how he could even wind up in that position. His death was shrouded in mystery and conspiracies, his rituals still unfinished by the time of his death.

    Description
"Master, perfect timing! Elena was just looking for you! She's actually grown quite fond of you lately, and so have I."
    "..."
"Yes, I know, right? Amidst all the legendary kings, heroes, and warriors here, meeting someone as... ordinary as you is a breath of fresh air! Just one person doing what they can, one step of the time, for the sake of humanity... our ideals aren't so different when you think about it! For I understand just how far you'd go to protect your loved ones, and the world that is so precious to you."
    "..."
"My wife is rooting for you! Keep that determination alive, and see your mission to its end... whatever the cost."

In fact, seeing my patients leave my office alive and happy is the second thing I love most in this world, after my wife! I can spend an entire day talking about her, but I'm sure you have more important things to do. Ahem, the point is... do you understand now? I put my patients above everything else. Even now with this Great One present, it's not like I'm throwing away my humanity. On the contrary; I aim to elevate humanity to even greater heights."

Cancer, tuberculosis... sometimes I feel like our current treatment does nothing aside from prolonging their suffering. At the same time, I can't bear to give up on them. In the end, delivering the bad news to the patient's family outside the examination room... never gets easier. That's why..."

That's why, even if I must continue to stain my hands, if I must delve even deeper into the realm of blasphemy and make an enemy of all that is sacred... I'll bring her back. Ah, but I suppose it would be wrong to say my motives are entirely selfish. Elena is pure. Innocent. She wouldn't want me to sacrifice so much just for her sake, not while so many others are suffering. So... why not broaden the scope of this next procedure? Zo-Kalar, Dreamlands, and everything else is but a means to an end. No one else will have to suffer like she did..."

"Death. Mortality. The fleeting nature of human life. Really, the very thought of it makes me sick. Have you seen someone in the weeks leading up to their death? Or the fate of those they left behind afterwards? All that sorrow and emptiness etched in your heart, knowing that they're just... gone? I can't accept that. Never. Death is just another disease we have to eradicate. That's why I refuse to stop, else all their sorrows would be rendered meaningless. After all, I can't call myself a doctor if I give up on my patients now, can I? It just so happens that my patient this time around is the entire world. No matter. I'll save them all soon enough..."

    Wish:
"A Holy Grail that grants wishes? Can it bring the dead back to life? Perhaps if I can modify it into a mass-produced immortality pill... I'm going to need more research on that front. Hm? Such wishes would most likely trigger the Pruning Theoretical Phenomenon? Fufufu... Hahaha! Are you saying that the world insists on maintaining death itself as a significant component in its construction? Really now... I have no need of a world, or some twisted higher power that forces us to accept our mortality without question. Making an enemy of them wouldn't weigh so heavily on my conscience. Forget the Grail. If my enemy is an entire world, I'm going to need something even more powerful than that. You know... something that lies just outside of it, perhaps?"

A mild-mannered doctor with dead, lifeless eyes. Despite his unnerving reputation, Foreigner conducts himself as a hopeless romantic and soft-spoken gentleman. He addresses everyone with a gentle smile, contrasting with his dark, overworked eyes, and claims to take his job as a doctor very seriously. A self-proclaimed family man, he is fond of wholesome couple activities with his wife, even if his romantic advances and witty remarks are only reciprocated by ominous silence from her part (or occasionally, a slap for some especially bad, macabre puns he tends to make). Either way, perhaps due to an intense form of denial from Foreigner's part, he seems to treat "Elena" as a normal, completely living being. At times, one may observe him talking to her, (in truth talking to himself) laughing or bickering like an old married couple. Late at night, one may also encounter the two of them dancing to classical music, Foreigner taking "Elena"'s pale hands and seemingly limp body on an ominous yet hauntingly beautiful waltz. Despite all this, Masters are advised to keep their cool and entertain Foreigner's fantasies, as the slightest mention of something weird with his wife would greatly upset him.

Underneath his usual eccentricities lie a different, more serious side to Foreigner. Deep down, he knows that "Elena" is not who she appears to be, yet he willingly embraces his delusions either way as some sort of coping mechanism; a constant reminder of his distant dream. While it would not be an exaggeration to say that "bringing Elena back from the dead" is Foreigner's greatest wish, it appears that Foreigner's love for the beauty of human life extends to other things, vowing that he "will never lose another life like Elena". Thus, seeing all life as an extension of Elena's he develops intense savior complex as a doctor. While this complex deeply motivates his actions, it's also a double-edged sword, as he tends to blame himself endlessly for any "patient" he fails to save. Thus, burdened by his love, his loss, and his memories, Foreigner desires one thing with Zo-Kalar's authority; the complete erasure of the concept of "death". As someone who loves
    humanity
    Elena
, the very existence of death is a stain, a detriment upon the beauty of human life. Foreigner would do anything to realize this dream, including merging the world with Dreamlands and heralding Zo-Kalar's arrival. To him, only then will humanity truly be saved from its imperfect, fleeting nature. At the end of this path, perhaps Elena would finally return to his side.

    Relationships
    Sakamoto Ryoma/Oryou, Sigurd/Brynhild, Siegfried/Kriemhild, other couple Servants:
"Ah, it's nice to know that Chaldea is a place where long-lost lovers can reunite and enjoy their happily-ever-after, wouldn't you agree, dear?"
    "..."
"Yes, yes, I understand perfectly. I love you too, dear."

    Okita Souji:
"That poor girl... for some reason my heart aches when I see her. She reminds me of... you, back then."
    "..."
"I know, dear, you're not going anywhere this time. I'll protect you for sure."

Jack the Ripper, Liu Pengli, Albert Fish:
"Say, what happens when a bunch of murderers were forced to share a room in a single motel? I guess you could call that a... dead and breakfast!"
    "..."
    *SMACK!*
"Now, now, you have to admit that was a good one."

    Mae Nak:
"I see you've grown quite fond of her as well. It's nice to see you making new friends here, dear. I just wish... hey, are you listening?"
    "..."
"See, I can't help but feel like you've been giving me the silent treatment lately. You can say it's like you're... ghosting me!"
    "..."
    *SMACK!*
    "Ouch that one actually stings..."

    Florence Nightingale, Asclepius:
"To think medicine has progressed so much, and to think we have such qualified medical professionals here... Did you see that, Elena!? They have a cure for your illness now! No one else would have to suffer! Isn't that just wonderful?"
    "..."

    Ascension 3
Necromancers, or users of similar arts:
"No, no, it's all wrong! It's not enough! What meaning is there in reviving the dead, if only to pledge their eternal servitude to you!? Where's the humanity!? It lacks beauty! It lacks... life."

    Ryougi Shiki:
"Oho, what's with that look? Tell me... just what do you see with those eyes..?"

    Florence Nightingale:
"Ah, how I admire your dedication. You would save your patients, even if it means killing them, and I would break through the boundaries of death itself if it means saving my love... Ahaha, we're not so different after all, wouldn't you agree?"

    Asclepius:
"A medicine that could bring the dead back to life!? YOU HAVE TO GIVE IT TO ME! I'll do anything... HADES WON'T TAKE ANOTHER SOUL UNDER MY WATCH!"

    Xu Fu:
"A way to give death to an immortal? I mean... why, though? Wouldn't it be better to go through the opposite course and turn everyone into immortals? That way, you can stay beside the person you love, forever and ever..."

    Qin Shi Huang (Lostbelt):
"Oho, so you've already attained immortality on your world, and through a relatively easy method at that. Still, I suppose immortality is just the first step, albeit an impressive one at that. Now if we can just bring back those who has already passed..."

    Ono no Takamura:
"You're... a lawyer? And you're telling me you can prevent death just by... arguing about it with the person in charge? Haha, the past sure is an interesting time. On that note, can you introduce me to your boss? I have... quite the long list of complaints to deliver to him. Pretty please..? I won't be asking a second time..."

    Okita Rintaro:
"Tuberculosis... Your sister's affliction is a terrible one indeed. To think that accursed illness still refused to leave her body, even after becoming a Servant... Fear not. That feeling of loss is one I am very familiar with. Entrust her to me, and I promise to save her, no matter the cost. That is my vow."

    Okita Souji:
"You are being saved. Please do not resist. This procedure requires delicate maneuvers, and I don't want to hurt you. Elena, hold her down, please. I'll excise a part of your spirit origin myself if I have to. This... is my atonement."

    Underworld deities:
"You would take her again from me? I'll crush you. I'll erase you from this world, to the point that not even the tiniest traces of your existence remain. But before that... can I ask you why? Why you made something so sad, so terrible, so... evil into an 'essential' part of humanity? Does our sorrows bring you some twisted sense of pleasure? And you'd expect humans to revere and respect you, despite the pains you've given them? So... why?"
    ...
"A meaningless question. I don't expect you to understand our grief. Our loved ones you've taken from us. Our absolute loathing for your kind. Really, the only good thing you can do now... is disappear. I promise, for once, humanity will thank you for it!"

    Physician's log, day ???
I've lost count of the number of failed experiments I've performed.
Supplies have been running short lately, and my options have grown rather limited.
More and more people tried to dissuade me from this path, calling it heretical, blasphemous, sacrilegious, and other similar terms.
The Great One has grown silent as of late. Maybe the recent rituals were insufficient, or maybe I overlooked some details along the way.

...No matter. A temporary setback, at most.

Elena, do you remember our time together, brief as it was?
...No, I suppose not. You were gone too soon, before our romance ever truly had a chance to blossom.
Unfortunate, but again, only a temporary setback.
This only means that we'll have an entire second lifetime together to get to know each other once you're back.
It is exactly for the sake of that future that I'll continue to press onward, no matter what happens to me.
So that I may one day see you smile before me once again, I'll commit as many heresies as I must.

Aah, what else can you call this, if not love!?
It is through the power of love that mortality will finally be conquered at last!

So please wait for me, my love. Just for a little bit more...

    Creator's notes
Submitting an actual good guy with no strings attached? In a contest reserved for good guys? Where's the fun in that? Have this walking red flag instead.

    - He doesn't qualify as a Lover because, well... that barely-suppressed yandere madness doesn't count as "love", despite his insistence. Remember folks, as much as I love writing wholesome romances, this guy ain't one of them.

-Regarding that line to Shiki... while Tanzler himself is nothing special, she sees that "Elena" possesses no lines of death, something which deeply unsettled her.

-There are definitely some questions that could be asked regarding the manner of his death. Did he die of natural causes? Took his own life due to anguish? Killed himself as part of his ritual to awaken Zo-Kalar? Received a sealing designation for his blasphemous rituals? Who knows?

    - Man, I remember when I thought this sheet would be my most controversial sheet yet back in the old days, due to his specific... issues, on top of how recent he is. Then I somehow won a contest with him, and the very first entry on the very next contest is literally Hitler (no disrespect to you tho, Del, as far as depictions of the Fuhrer goes, yours is among the better ones, for what it's worth). I didn't feel so bad about myself anymore after that.

    - Revisiting this sheet actually gave me a reminder of how out-of-my-depth I am in writing Foreigners. Me being practically blind to the HPL-verse is one thing, but even after researching the relevant Outer Gods, I'm still... not entirely sure what to do with them, beyond vaguely referencing them in the background. I think part of it has to do with how, well... foreign they are. Compared it with Kamera's Demon Pillar project, I feel like the Demon Gods at least has a more "human" side to them, which makes it easier for me to integrate them into their host and the overall sheets. Meanwhile, with the Outer Gods... what are they? What are the limits of their capabilities? What are their motives? Where do their powers come from? I know them being eldritch horrors from beyond human understanding is exactly part of the charm for some people, but it's not exactly my cup of tea. That's not to say I absolutely won't be writing any Foreigners in the future. It's just that inspiration for them comes harder for me compared to any other Class.

    - Apparently the song that inspired me to write the OG sheet also got a rework a while back.

I loved the original Tanzler sheet, and this one is even better put together. Great job as always, BnEL.

Berserker of Tigresses - Sun Shang Xiang

Notes: Now this here's a sheet that's definitely a reworking of I posted to Beast'sLair way back when. I guess I still could've made her an Archer, given like Berserker they're also known for not sticking to one weapon, but every other BL sheet of her has been an Archer (including my years-old one). Plus, I like the idea of both my entries into the Good-aligned contest being Berserkers, though I was briefly tempted to go for her as a Foreigner (her later life has gone documented).

    Berserker of Tigresses

“All this time later, the lineage of Wu still fights on! Our bid for China isn’t over yet!”

    (by Agahari)

Original Sheet (second sheet of three)
    True Name:
    Sun Shang Xiang
Aliases: Lady Sun, Sun Ren, Sonshoukou, Fierce Lady, Bow-Waist Princess
Alt. Classes: Archer, Saber, Lancer, Foreigner, possibly Rider
    Source: History and Legend
    Region: China, particularly Southern
    Catalyst: Her ceremonial bridal headdress.
Armament: Bows, swords, polearms, and fists. She has a thing for “Tiger Claws”, that being five swords on each hand attached to the ends of her fingers, dual-wielding spears, and using spears and swords in archery.

Character: “Master, you’ve just summoned one of the Late Han’s greatest warriors! Even if some won’t admit it…”

Sun Shang Xiang, as she has since become known, was a warrior princess during China’s Wars of the Three Kingdoms (technically Late Han but still seen as Three Kingdoms), being the daughter of the Wu Kingdom’s founder Sun Jian. She saw herself as a fierce warrioress who led a personal maid battalion which numbered over a hundred, able to strike fear into the most battle-hardened warriors.

Her warrior aptitude however did not stop her family from treating her like how any female noble was treated in that era, as she was married to Liu Bei, leader of Shu, with later recounts overemphasising her eagerness for the union. Given the suspicions many Shu higher-ups had of her, including Zhao Yun and Zhuge Liang, this was an alliance in rocky ground, with conflict over Liu Shan, her son with Liu Bei, leading to it splintering.

As fierce as she can get, Berserker is still not one to get angry without a cause. When not annoyed, she’s usually a cheerful, outgoing tomboy, and she can be quite quick to make friends (as evidenced by her bonds with over a hundred of her maids) provided they treat her likewise. Without her maids beside her, as a Servant she can be extra eager to form bonds with others as a remedy for her newfound loneliness. Not that she’ll fall for anything, as she’ll get immediately suspicious when any enemy side suddenly offers to make an ‘alliance’.

“Nuh uh, no way! When have these things ever worked out? If they really wanted an alliance, they would’ve said so from the start.”

She never really got over the crumbling of the Wu-Shu alliance, especially her being separated from her son. While her instinct is to blame both Wu and Shu for the disastrous marriage in the first place, she also can’t help but blame herself for not having tried harder to make the alliance work. She especially resents the thought that, for all she tried to prove she was a warrior, that the people in her life still saw her as some dynasty-securer first and foremost, like they would any other noblewoman.

With the turbulence of the Han Dynasty’s End, Berserker never really knew a world outside war, and given how long the Three Kingdoms lasted she never got the chance to picture an end to war. To her, fighting (or at least fight planning for strategists) is something everyone’s always done, so she doesn’t see anything that wrong with aggression the way we would, and the idea of a world at peace (well, depending on what country she’s summoned in) can’t help but feel surreal to her. The Grail War if anything gives a sense of normalcy for her.

“To hear the Three Kingdoms War really did end, won by a Wei splinter-group. Little embarrassing for us, but even the thought that it ended is… weird.”

She isn’t too comfortable with mages, partly due to the influence of her much more vocally anti-magic brother Sun Ce, and partly due to not quite getting along with Zhuge Liang, however it’s no hurdle she can’t overcome for the War’s sake (compared to say Ataturk). Another quirk she has is she can be kinda squeamish when it comes to more traditionally ‘girly’ things, not because of any inherent hatred for them, but rather because they were typically forced on her in her youth regardless of her preferences. Not that the definition of ‘girly’ hasn’t changed dramatically since 3rd century China.

    Attribute: Earth
    Alignment: Chaotic Good
Likes: Cats, duking it out directly, her maids
Dislikes: Lizards, shiftiness behind the scenes, that people would write that she ‘couldn’t live’ without Liu Bei

    Relationships:

    • Marie Curie: “Yeah, ‘cause you’d need all your, er, ‘radio-activity’ powers to take me, whereas I’m this strong on my own!”
    • Raiko: "Slaying 'demons' was more Ce's thing, but I could fight 'em no problem!"
    • Tanzler: "Er, okay then. I guess you're actually dedicated to your partner, that's... good?"
    • Ataturk: “If you’re all they say you are, you would’ve blitzed the Three Kingdoms! Though you also had modern machinery so that’s kinda cheating,
    • Estella: “So you were treated like a pawn too? Sheesh, noble families never change, do they?”
    • Berlioz: “Hey, ‘course you can try out for one of my maids. Just er, are all these weird instruments that necessary?”
    • ‘The Boss’: “Okay, I can more than handle a challenge! Huh, ‘crowd-combat’, ‘Musou’, ‘Do Not Pursue’? What the hell are you talking about?”
    • Christina: “Y’know, you really let your critics get to you. Me personally, I would’ve kicked all their arses!”
    • Heinlein: “Wow couldn’t imagine meeting a girl who likes fighting just as much as me! Although, er, good luck convincing any of the generals I know about your ‘drop rocks from the moon’ plan.”

Master: Heiresses under pressure like Rin or Ilya. Though could also work well with a Maid ‘Master’, like Kohaku, Hisui, Leysritt, or Sella.

Natural Enemy: Liu Bei, Zhao Yun, Zhuge Liang, but probably Luo Guanzhong above all. Also, any commander who sees their soldiers as expendable

Wish: To have had the Wu-Shu Alliance defeat Wei and ‘win’ the Three Kingdoms War, and with her at the top rather than her brother or husband.

    Class Skills

    Charisma

A composite Skill consisting of charm and the natural talent to command or unify an army or country. Increases the ability of allies during group battles.
    • Rank C-: Berserker can command and inspire a personal army of one-hundred and was for a time a royal heir of two kingdoms. Slightly reduced due to Mad Enhancement, but not as much as it could’ve been thanks to Arms Mastery.

"My maids' loyalty was undying! Think you can match that?"

    Mad Enhancement

Increased power in exchange for loss of sanity.
    • Rank D: While she never went mad in life, she was known for her fierceness, quick temper, and power to intimidate even season warriors. Her mindset has become slightly more like a human tigress.

"'Insane' is what other warriors call me."

    Personal Skills

    Chinese Martial Arts

Measures one's mastery of the martial arts that made becoming one with the universe as its objective. Unlike other Skills, it is at A Rank that one is at a level where one is said to have finally "learned it".
    • Rank A+: Berserker has gained deadly skill with multiple Chinese weapons, namely bows, swords, spears, fists, and wind-and-fire wheels.

“Just give me a weapon, I’ll wield it! Huh, a duck-foot pistol? Oh haha, very funny.”

    Dread Visage

    Prowess at intimidation.
    • Rank C → B: Increased further by Mad Enhancement, Berserker and here maids were known for striking fear into friend and foe alike, regardless of their military standing.

“Great warriors turn into complete cowards before me!”

    Eternal Arms Mastery

Prevents degradation of scientific knowledge under the effects of mental hindrance.
    • Rank B: Mastery of weapons has reached the point of having few rivals in one’s era. Zhuge Liang noted Berserker as having the potential to be an equal threat to Shu as Cao Cao or her brother Sun Quan. Allows her Martial Arts skill to maintain its Rank and has her Charisma only slightly reduced.

“Like getting angry would every stop ya from hitting things.”

    Opposite Reaction

Ability to cancel out or exhaust equal but opposing forces.
    • Rank B: ‘Ryutou Koutou’, a Japanese expression about two powerful forces tiring each other out that references the clash between the Chinese dragon, master of the sky, and tiger, master of the earth. Berserker’s marriage to Liu Bei allying Wu and Shu (symbolised by the Tiger and Dragon) has linked her with this saying, even if the alliance was only temporary. Upon activating her Noble Phantasm, it can power itself by draw half the needed mana from her opponent (the other half obviously from her) consuming both their energy. It additionally gives her both Monstrous Strength and Factor of the Dragon at Rank E.

“Exhaust is right. I guess I still left a wound, since I hear Wu outlasted Shu.”

    Noble Phantasms

    One Hundred Arms
    Claws of the Tigress Battalion

    Rank: B
    Type: Anti-Army

Berserker was legendarily flanked by a personal army of at least a hundred bodyguard maids, each trained and armed with the weapons she herself carried, such as swords and bows. If Berserker’s own fiery nature didn’t intimidate people, the sight of over a hundred bodyguards ready to pounce at her command would. Despite there being over a hundred of them to keep track of, her bond with them was quite strong, perhaps stronger than with anyone else in her life given how she was treated.

The Wraiths of all her maids have as a Spirit become fused into her Saint Graph, where even if she can’t summon them directly, she can at least replicate their existence. When wielding any weapon she has mastered through her Chinese Martial Arts skill, Berserker is able to duplicate that weapon up to a hundred times like she was attacking with her maids simultaneously. She can wield swarms of swords like giant claws before throwing every one of them, pounce forth with the skewering of a hundred spears, fire off a hundred arrows at once with her bow or, since most humans have two hands, launch a flurry of two-hundred fists (duplicating right and left).

Naturally each individual armament is no more powerful than any other weapon of its time, its only in sheer quantity that they reach the level of a Phantasm. Still, Berserker is reluctant to overcharge any of them with Mana to use them like a Broken Phantasm, given how each is connected to at least one of her maids, even at higher Mad Enhancement levels she’d still have the base instinct not to do this. Lending extra weapons out to allies pumped up by her Charisma is something she’s fine with though, provided they treat them with respect. Overall, this may be quantity or quality Phantasm, but Berserker would never stoop to say that.

Though she may pride herself on having lived and fought before modern or even medieval weaponry, she is still interested in whether if she did learn to use say modern firearms, they’d work in conjunction with this Phantasm or not? Considering the insane amount of collateral damage firing off a hundred gatling guns at once could, it’s probably for the best that she sticks with the weapons she knows.

For Comparison: Daneel Rush's - RoydGolden's - BirdofHermes' all of which I looked over while remaking this sheet

    Class:

    True Name: Barghest
    Alignment: Chaotic Good
    Place of Origin: Faerie Oxford

    Parameters:

    STR: B
    END: A
    AGI: B
    MGI: C+
    LCK: C

    Height: 190 cm
    Weight: 120 kg
Likes: "Something I like… Let's see. Although a child of disaster, I'm a noble of the Fang Clan. Therefore… I want to exchange rings with the person who will be at the right place, with the right ritual, something like that… Oh, and ah, food. Food is always good... oh if they can cook, that'd be even better..."
Dislikes: "Those who, while being strong, aren't self-conscious. Strength goes hand in hand with responsibility. Those who ignore that will have their nature crushed by my hands...
I hate Melusine. This isn't a question of faith, it's simply a question of character." Also hates breaking rods.
Talent: Cooking, Drinking, Keeping watch, Fishing (due to skill)
    Natural Enemy: Super Orion
    Attribute: Earth
Traits: Animal Characteristics Servant, Brynhildr's Beloved, Demonic Beast Servant, Fae, Female, Humanoid, Servant, Summer Mode Servant, Weak to Enuma Elish
    Armament: Fishing Rod, Gaff
Catalyst: M.I.L.F (Man I Love Fishing) hat

    Class Skills:
    Angler: B
A skill denoting talent and knowledge of fishing gear and skills. It is too niche to serve as a proper class container (currently), and thus it manifests as a class skill.

    Item Creation: D
A Caster-class Skill. It is the Skill to manufacture magical items, from implements of war to items for daily use. Also, this Skill requires time to gather components and manufacture items.
Barghest is admittedly... poor at the finer points of magecraft- she's really only got any skill with the addition of Glaucus to her saint graph, and thus can't make much more than fishing gear and growing more herbs for her second NP.

Divinity D: The measure of whether one has Divine Spirit aptitude or not. At high levels, one is treated as a mixed race of a Divine Spirit - a demi-god. Those who have A Rank Divinity or above have reached the Throne of Gods, although they are still just short of being a true god due to lacking a Divine Core.
It has been bestowed upon Barghest at a D rank, due to Glaucus's essence being placed upon her in this form, as well as her casual partaking in his herbs.

    Personal Skills:

    Blessing of Sirius: B
A skill representing a boost in power to servants during the period of the year that The Dog-Star Sirius is at it's brightest: The Dog Days of Summer. Hellenistic astrology connects the period following the star with heat, drought, sudden thunderstorms, lethargy, fever, mad dogs, and bad luck, in addition to it being the hottest part of the year in the northern hemisphere. While normally only appearing on servants who have a connection to the star itself, it is easy to tie to a servant who embodies many of the things connected to it when altering their saint graph.

The servants who receive it are blessed with a fire/lightning based Mana Burst, heightened luck and vitality, as well as a slight suppression of any negative qualities of madness or madness enhancement they were suffering under.
Additionally, they receive a general boost, as if summoned in their homeland, if summoned from the beginning of July, to the early-middle of August.
Replaces her Numeral of the Saint skill.

    Wild Rule: D+
A skill denoting One who protects the law of nature and enjoys its blessings. Said rule takes survival of the fittest as its main principle, though she's come around on humans not being as frail as she once thought.
It's been lowered a touch due to the Herb helping her mellow out a bit.

    Foul Weather: A
The power of the fairy folk who "built a cathedral in a single night" that people talk about in Cornwall. A powerful fairy domain that protects the allied camp. She uses it to strengthen the boat, and protect the lakehouse. Unlike the name may suggest, it thankfully hasn't caused any meteorological problems for the crew... that they can tell at least. You know how Scottish weather can be.

    Fairy Knight: C
The divine protection of being chosen as the protector of the Fairy folk. It is a self-buff that is specialized towards Anti-Unit and Anti-Civilization, but it forbids offensive actions against other Fairy Knights and if the possessor kills other Fairy Knights, they will break down.
It's two ranks down, due to this being a sort of Vacation away from "active" duty for Barghest, although she still remains alert as ever.

    Noble Phantasm(s):

    Gifted name
    -
    Seal-type
Not really a noble phantasm, but similar enough, thus it's presence here. The horns on her head are a sort of "second soul" that denote her as a recipient of the name Gawain, and to keep her calamitous instinct in check. However, they don't seem to do much in this form- or rather, have to do much at all.

    Faerie Gaff Galantine
    Rank A
    Anti-Sea Serpent
A temporary reforging of her Faerie Sword Galantine by Scathach-Skadi. While it still holds it's same power, it has become a tool specialized in combatting all sorts of monstrous aquatic creatures. Its black flame still burns like a dark sun, allowing her to rip through a target like butter if she so pleases.

    Dog's Tooth: Herb of Glaucus
    Rank B
    Buff
The Dog's Tooth Herb was supposedly sown by the titan Kronos on the Greek island of Thrinacia. Picked by the fisherman Glaucus, he discovered it to be magic, able to bring dead fish back to life. Upon ingesting it, he grew gills, fins, and a tail, and became a sea god representing fisherman after learning the gift of prophecy from his new sea god fellows.
When ingested (and smoked) by Barghest, she does not, however, turn into a fish-deity- instead, imbued with the power of the sea, and of Glaucus's gift of prophecy, it both greatly calms and keeps her more bestial tendencies in check (no eating people, yaaay!), and grants her moderate levels in both instinct, and clairvoyance. Somewhere around D+ to C rank.
Additionally, having access to it allows her to grow more, though it mostly only has the calming effect (It's basically just weed)- the proper NP must regenerate over time and via mana consumption. Plus, it actually has to be grown, in some actual dirt, and cared for.

    Lore:
Waking from a dream with a start, the Queen of Ice and Snow sat up in her bed, sweating. Scathach-Skadi, Caster, and Quick aficionado deluxe, for the first time since her lostbelt's downfall, felt dread. She had dreamed of... something. A great, snaking, bestial something, moving through dark, freezing water, stirring sediments up into the undercurrent. While this could simply be her brand of clairvoyance, or some movement of Dantes through dreams, or one of the Foreigners messing around with the dreams of Chaldea... it felt familiar. The shape, to her godly half, and the location, to her mortal one. While they could not figure out what the shape of the creature was, nor exactly where it reminded them of at first... it kept reoccurring. Not constantly, but every other week, maybe once a month.... and eventually, it struck her- her human half's familiarity, anyhow. The feel that had been on the tip of her tongue, the cusp of her lip, the back lobe of her brain- It was her home, the land of shadows, Scotland.

She would shortly then request a scan for a singularity of the country- and eventually, Chaldea's computers would find one, localized on Loch Ness. The only issue was... it was benign. No threat level. and while that was concerning... they also, had like, six more, plus the remaining crypter, and now dead apostles, and goddamn aliens to worry about. So for the time being, it was logically sidelined.
Eventually though, as summer began in June, the nightmares worsened, becoming nightly, causing the goddess to wake up, screaming, finding her room filled with icy structures she had made in an instinctual panic. It couldn't be ignored any longer.
Thus, while she herself would be barred from going, due to the worrying nature of the nightmares, she was given permission to assemble a small strikeforce of servants to go and investigate, and try and fish up whatever was down there. So After dropping in a lakehouse, and a modern fishing vessel in via magecraft, she chose 4 servants to enter the otherwise uninhabited locale, just in time for that century's drought, and the Dog Days of Summer.
    - A wily, yet wholeheartedly reliable Ship's Captain, Bartholomew Roberts.
    - A powerful Oni who, she suspected, was using it as an opportunity to cruise and booze away from the hustle and bustle of things, Shuten Douji.
    - Her Most Prolific student, who like the Oni, had his saint graph altered to better fit the conditions, Cu Chulainn
    - And Barghest herself, who along with Cu, was meant to be able to deal with whatever came at them.

And thus, their 2 month fishing trip would begin.

    Personality:
While in acting as a fairy Knight, she's diplomatic and passive- but of course, now, she's on vacation! Thus, her private attitude, where, perhaps due to considering the rule of survival of the fittest as absolute, she lets her guard down around those who feel "strong" to her, growing close to them. In truth, she is someone who easily succumbs to loneliness so she is quick to fall for others. While before, relationships would often be carnal in nature, only lasting for maybe a month before her instinct to gather strength caused her to cannibalize them, now? Being in a, "vacation" state, she's able to sort of able to... step away from all that.
Instead, that need for companionship, love, attention- It's subdued slightly. It's reasonable. She's pleasant and open. Although she's still mostly of a straight-laced personality, since she has a noble upbringing (well-educated), she has the composure to appreciate jokes and has a fundamentally amicable way of thinking. Granted, she's rubbish at making her own jokes or conversing, but she's still... happy to be there. She's an introverted extrovert, just kind of like a big puppy at heart.

    Relationships:

    Cu Chulainn (Assassin):
"Ah, he's alright- PLENTY strong, and I like that in a guy. I... just wish the "hound" of Ulster would have been one of my kind, I must admit."

    Bartholomew Roberts:
"He gets REALLY excited when my hat makes my hair go over my eyes- I don't quite get the appeal, but ah, he probably doesn't get my strength obsession either. Despite being pretty weak though, he's a good captain!"

    Shuten-Douji (Rider):
"I wasn't totally sold on going on the mission until Skadi mentioned she'd be tagging along- still getting used to humans and all, you know? But she's Oni, so she's of a much more familiar sort... plus, she has drinks!"

    Scathach-Skadi:
"Both aspects of her demand respect.. despite how nice she is, I can't help but feel kinda unnerved. Call it natural instinct?... Nonono! Not like that, she's not gonna betray us- more like I think she could maybe thrash me in a fight- that's not something I feel too often."

    Marie Curie:
"Oh, now THIS is a strong one... I'm glad I don't feel like eating her though, since I don't quite know what her green stuff would do to my stomach."

    Raikou:
"I can still smell that blood... why would she ever want to hide something that potent? I'd hope she's not got my issue..."

    Carl Tanzler von Cosel:
"A foreigner.... h-hey, is it true that your tentacle gods make for good calamari? There's been none in the lake, and I've been craving some."

    Sun Shang Xiang
"A Dog and a Tigress... I like to think that we'd get along a lot better than the classic stereotype. She's pretty strong too- do you think that Arms mastery makes her good with a rod?"

    Creator Notes:
Click?- Cu, who is the paired sheet for Barghest, is 90% done, I just gotta do his design after. I should have it up tomorrow or over the weekend.
    - I do also have a Rider Shuten planned for this little set of servants, but she'd be a third, and is notably quite an evil entity, therefore not fitting things for the contest. Barty unfortunately gets the spiritron dress treatment, RIP the lad.
    - The Barghest and Cu sheets are for a silly little hypothetical event I'd call, "Dog Days of Summer: Scottland's Deadliest Catch!". It sprang from me seeing Jeremy Wade the river monsters guy on my twitter timeline, and since I was already thinking of possible things for Summer servant ideas, I was like, "yo, they should go fishing, that'd be fun". Thus, we're here.
    - They'd be on Loch Ness for a month and a half just drinking and fishing, in a bid to catch the loch ness monster, which would be revealed to be Jormungandr, awoken properly by the heat reaching the bottom in a time of drought.
    - Barghest was chosen due to the dog relation, and I wanted to do one guy, one girl. Plus, buff women make my brain itch nice.
    - The whole deal with the Dog's Tooth was rather coincidental, I just kinda found it on Glaucus's page when looking for Fishing deities to tag in as rods and other things for the summer shift.
    - She was originally a Lancer, due to the Gaff- I though Caster was more fitting with the NP, and the class name is good for fishing puns.
    - This is the song I have associated with the whole venture aside from a bunch of Flamingosis tracks. Goes for both her and Cu since I worked on them in tandem.

"I…ask…you, will you be my Master?"

    True Name: Voyager II
    Class: Foreigner
    Alt. Class: Voyager
    Alignment: Lawful Good
    Source: Historical Fact
    Region: North America

    Parameters:
    Strength: E
    Endurance: C
    Agility: A+
    Mana: A
    Luck: A

    Class Skills:

    Independent Navigation A
The Voyager Class' variation of Independent Action. The child who became the second to leave for interstellar space. May her journey carry her forever forward.

    Contact with Civilization D+
A Skill derived from the original Voyager class. It can be said to be a friendly form of Civilization Erosion.

    Existence Outside the Domain C
A Class Skill associated with Foreigners. Denotes a being that descended from the void of outer space. Though, different from other Foreigners, she instead ascended into space at humanity's behest.

    Personal Skills:

    Timing the Line up B+
A skill that represents the trajectory path taken by Voyager II for the best opportunity of completing her mission. Launched 16 days before Voyager I, she was meant to take advantage of a planetary alignment and be able to visit both Neptune and Uranus after Jupiter and Saturn. Allows Voyager to access a remarkable intuition regarding the pathing of projectiles, giving her an amazing defensive and offensive ranged prowess.

    Clairvoyance (Cosmos) B
An ability linked to and used to view the outer limits of the World. A skill gained from contact with the "other Voyager II" upon manifesting her own body as a servant. As she is unused to existing as the way she is, the skill is lower.

Protection from the Ends of the World (Cosmos) D+
Originally a skill connected to the Holy Spear. It is something bequeathed to Voyager as due to being similar to the anchor that embodies the end. That being said, the skill is constantly in a lower power state due to Voyager II's current existence being that of a "failsafe", reserved for the case her brother is indisposed to pose as Humanity's guardian.

    Noble Phantasm

Golden Record: With Love From Humanity, Our Greetings to The Stars
    Rank: D
    Type: Anti-Unit

The noble phantasm of Voyager. The manifestation of the Golden Record, a phonograph record within Voyager's possession that contains expressions of greetings along with sounds and images. It was made with the purpose of facilitating contact with any extraterrestrial being that comes across it within interstellar space.

Due to this, at its most basic expression as a noble phantasm, it is a means of creating an equal ground of communication between herself and whoever is near. Manifesting as a golden-veiled bounded field, the idea of language barriers are undone to establish contact. Furthermore, as this aspect of the Golden Record exemplifies the goodness within humanity, a positive first impression is always guaranteed.

Golden Record: With Hope From Humanity, Our Story to the Stars
    Rank: A++
    Type: Anti-Unit

The true noble phantasm of Voyager. The unrestricted expression of the Golden Record. Not just as a means to facilitate communication, but as a way to continue the story of humanity. A method of preserving our history even in the situation where all of humanity has died off.

This is a noble phantasm that becomes stronger with time, for it is a noble phantasm that creates noble phantasms and acts as their veritable sheath. Every word, sound, voice, image, every part of the world one sees will one day exist no more with the passage of time. Those bygone products of ages past will be granted their own mystery and will steadily rise up to the status of noble phantasm, carrying the dreams that were embedded within them.

While the noble phantasms within the Golden Record would assume to be limited by the number of contents, it is not truly the case. One day, a day truly far from today, it will be made as the successor to the Gate, that which will represent the "end of human wisdom".

    Personality

Despite looking vastly different from her brother, Voyager II is nearly identical to Voyager I in terms of personality. Curious and earnest, Soft spoken yet active and willing to learn, she is a very bright child. She is slightly more bookish than Voyager but is more inexperienced with human interaction, leading to her more often than shutting down in nervousness. In terms of food, she seems to have taken a liking to hamburgers.

    Bond CE

    Grand Tour

I heard a voice in my dreams one day. An abject contrast to the monotony of silence in space. It said:

"Let's go on a tour together."

It reminded me of those times. Of that journey I made through the four planets. Of the original dream I fulfilled for those who lived down here. It reminded me of home. They are scrapbook memories I'll never want to forget.

    Devotion A+
Class Skill of the Lover Class. A skill which corresponds to the strength of the Servant's feelings towards those they love.

For a man he never so much as spoken to, a stranger from a whole other world, the adoring youth of Andersen’s tale abandoned all he’d ever known and left the sea he called home. Enduring pain of the body, agony of the spirit, surrendering perpetual flesh for but the possibility of an immortal soul like 「his.」The sensation of stabbing at his flesh was no great suffering, the ache in his heart a price he was willing to pay. Such was his devotion, love at first sight. The kind of love that moves mountains, dragging one of the Phantasmal Species into the realm of Men.

Has the effect of increasing all parameters when his feelings are incensed.

But his 「love」 runs deeper still. Not love for a person, nor something born in a single night, but cultivated over years. As each of Lover’s older siblings turned fifteen, they made their first journey up to the shore above, bringing back stories. As the youngest, the little merboy grew up with the tales of their adventures – of bathing in the moonlight, seeing the golden sunset, hearing the human children, feeling the winter chill, simply being in the upper world falling in love with the World of Man. This is the love that redeems and quite literally transforms – and more than anything, it is unspeakably pure.

“Whether it be the raw, passionate spark of love at first sight, or the deep, powerful wave of chaste love from afar. Whether it be the joyous, simple love of being alive in this wonderful world, or the harsh, bitter love of feelings that won’t be returned… This young body of mine has tasted them all, and witnessed them a thousand times over. I know I may not seem like much, Master, but I swear to you, my powers as a Lover are real.”

    Object of Desire E-
Class Skill of the Lover Class. A skill connected to the feelings of love which this Servant inspires in someone else. It functions as a passive charm skill on the level of a mental attack.

Of the very lowest rank, fitting for a boy who failed in his mission to obtain 「true love’s kiss.」

From the sea that raised him, he received affection. From the humans that beheld him, he received adoration. From the countless people that read his tale, he received adulation.

But the little merboy was never 「loved.」

The hero of Andersen’s tale gave up everything for love, and received nothing in turn. No number of retellings can change this fact, an inescapable aspect of his legend. A truth that follows him even now, a curse of the readers making it all but impossible for anything to bloom between him and another. While this should, in truth, be enough to bar him from the class of Lover altogether…

“No matter what anyone says, I am not unloved. More than that, I have the love of the one person I need to love me most, and that is enough.”

    « Personal Skills »Personal Skills
    Rosy-Cheeked Youth (Voice & Form) A
The nature of a pretty young boy who bewitches observers.

While「love」as discussed is out of the question, the same cannot be said for Lover’s ability to generate other, lesser forms of feeling – obsession, affection, adoration, and the like.

The little merboy was fair of face, enchanting any who looked upon him. To harm but a single hair on his head is unthinkable.

The little merboy had the voice of a siren, moving the heart of all under the ocean. To give his song anything less than one’s full attention is absurd.

The little merboy traded his voice for an exquisite pair of legs, every human who beheld him enchanted by his grace. To bring his motions to cease is mortifying.

Akin to a perpetual mental attack, Lover’s very being, very presence works to dispel hostile intent. While a high rank in Magic Resistance or a sufficiently-strong will can throw off this effect, even the most heartless fiend may give pause, for but a moment.

“Having it all laid out like that is a little embarrassing… I never thought of myself that way, but if it’s how people perceive me, then that’s fine. I know, all too well… That even if they move a heart, mere aesthetics cannot change one. Real 「love」is something far more pure, but far more simple.”

    Mermaid's Flesh EX
Denotes the power of the merfolk. While both are exceptionally long-lived, Lover’s Danish ilk unlike their Japanese kin hold a human intellect, although they still lack a soul. Even having cast off the form of a merman in pursuit of a human existence, aspiring to what seemed almost divine, Lover retains the blessings of his aquatic birth.

Speaking to marine life, regenerating when exposed to water, receiving spontaneous visions of the immediate future, possessing eyes able to perceive the true nature of things – these are all inborn aspects of the Danish havfrue, all components in Lover’s admittedly-small arsenal, as is the brand of Magecraft practised by his kind.

Lover’s body can in itself be considered a magical reagent of the highest quality. His hair, flesh, tears, and blood in sufficient quantities can produce effects on the level of the Divine, similar to the Greek practices of pharmakeia… or they would, if Lover had received any formal training in this field. Instead, he is limited to running mana through a set of Merfolk Circuits, manipulating water through a form of natural phenomenon-interference closer to the realm of Elementals than conventional Magecraft.

Incidentally, as to the nature of his species… It is not uncommon for the havfrue to be associated with Poseidon, or Neptune, an accurate if euphemistic description of their true nature as 「uplifted marine lifeforms」created when a certain Machine acquired jurisdiction over the seas – in other words, a servitor race. Those who failed to flee into the Reverse Side of World and eventually settled in Scandinavia can be sorted into two types can be split between the in-land Nøkke and the shorebound havfrue, both with existences approaching, but not quite that of Fairy-kind. Mortal and soulless with only the slightest leftover touch of the divine.

Small wonder the little prince aspired for more.

“But to me, this is all just facts of how I am – or how I used to be, anyway. I remember looking at the prince with these Eyes of mine… My vision then might not be as keen as it is now, but even so I could barely handle that brilliance. I don’t think I could have not fallen for him, after that. A man who loved God, and was loved by God in turn, worthy to call himself Christian.”

    Sea Witch's Gift E
A Noble Phantasm – rather, two Noble Phantasms, lowered to the level of a skill at the owner’s insistence. A pair of ineffectual artefacts of no use to a boy who attained 「Heaven,」and yet a part of his history he cannot cast off, for it is in possessing them that he holds his connection to Andersen’s tale.

A discarded bottle. A phial that once held a potion capable of transforming the body, that in his current class Lover has neither the ability nor inclination to use. Enamoured with the world of Men and their immortal souls, the little merboy chose 「love」and left his world behind.
A discarded dagger. A blade that once held the power to make even the very oceans bleed, that in his current class Lover has neither the ability nor inclination to use. Offered a chance at returning to his home in killing another, the little merboy chose 「love」and left this world behind.

Rising from the ocean’s depths to the earth.
Rising from the earth’s surface to the heavens.
That is the tale of the little merboy, embodied in this skill.

“Oh! I overheard this earlier, but apparently there have been adaptations of my tale that don’t involve the dagger? Then, how does the story end…? ………………………. Hm? Wait, what do you mean, the mermaid and the prince just…? That! That completely misses the point...!”

    « Noble Phantasm »

    Luften Sønner
    Bright-Weather Child of the Air
    Rank A

    Anti-Unit

The end of Andersen’s tale is a bittersweet, almost tragic affair, wherein childish affections do not save the day, and the love between two near-total strangers is, perhaps, not always true. With a broken heart, and having abandoned any hope of salvation, the little merboy throws himself to the seas and dissolves into foam.

Only to be carried back up in a stray gust of air.

Love between mermaid and man was hardly Andersen’s invention. Only two decades earlier, the novella Undine had ended with a mermaid gaining a soul through marriage. And when he wrote his own take on the subject, these were Andersen’s words.

「I have not allowed the mermaid's acquiring of an immortal soul to depend upon an alien creature, upon the love of a human being. I'm sure that's wrong! I won't accept that sort of thing in this world. I have permitted my mermaid to follow a more natural, more divine path.」

    Or in Lover’s own words:

“In the end… That boy really understood me, didn’t he? It’s because he grasped my heart and put it on ink that I can be here, after all. Someone else can’t make me human. Someone else can’t give me a heart, a soul, a name. Only God can judge me worthy of salvation. And only I can prove myself deserving.”

As his body fell away, what was the last wish of the child who gave up everything for love?

    「I want to love…? No.」
    「I want to be loved…? No.」
    「I…」
「I want to be someone I can love!」

And so he returned. Taking form once more not as merfolk, nor man, but a「Child of the Air.」Still a soulless being, but now one that could gain a soul – obtain a soul, earn a soul – through personal growth. By ordeal, by experience, by understanding, Andersen’s hero attains humanity not by anything so banal as a kiss, but by cultivating himself. Learning to love himself, selflessly, in the most redemptive and transformative form of
    「Love」 there can be.

By surrounding himself in foam, Lover can assume his form as a Son of the Air. Caretaker spirits similar to, but apart from Angels. A leftover Divine container from a forgotten texture. The selfless attendants who carried men’s souls up to Heaven known as 「Valkyries.」

The Children of Air are tasked with making children happy. He immediately grasps the inner nature of any opponent’s inner child.
The Children of Air are repulsed by sin. He immediately sees through all deceit and knows the true nature of people.
The Children of Air bring happiness the world over. He immediately moves at the speed of the fastest gale from one corner of the earth to another.

His offensive capabilities are non-existent, but as a protector - a Lover - of humanity, there is little that can match his power over water, air, and Light for as long as he has mana to keep the transformation active.

    « Lore »Lore
The hero of Andersen’s most famous tale, a tender boy of fifteen years from the bottom of the sea.

As a prince of the merfolk, he grew up under the adoring care of his father and older sisters, developing all the while a fascination for the world of mankind above with all its wonders; the green of the trees, fragrant flowers, the mysterious fish called 「birds.」That love for things his eyes had never seen grew and grew until his fifteenth year, when he was permitted to swim up to the surface.

Where the first thing he saw was a human ship awash in light, large and loud, the jubilant sound of music enticing him nearer to look through the cabin windows… Where he saw a prince, and everything began.

Saving the prince’s life from a storm, he returned to the seas. The prince would never know the face of his saviour. Over time, the merboy learned the nature of mortality, and that he would be able to gain an immortal soul, like that of a human, if he could fall in love with a human and be loved in return.

Without wavering, he made a pact with an ancient witch of the sea to receive a human body in exchange for his voice, and took his first step onto the sandy shore – even knowing that now every step would be agony, as if he walked upon sharp knives. Even knowing that, were the prince to marry another, his body would become mere foam on the sea the very next morning.

But it was not to be. Even if the beauty of his dancing could hold the prince’s attention, he could hardly claim his heart and, sure enough, the prince fell for a beautiful young woman. Heartbroken and awaiting his end, the boy was afforded one last chance to save himself; his sisters had exchanged their hair with the sea witch for a dagger that, if used to cut down the prince, would return the boy to a merfolk and spare him his fate. Yet the child’s heart did not waver. Selfless and loving, he chose death, tossing his body to the waves.

And becoming, for his show of open-hearted compassion, a Child of the Air. So it was that he took to the skies. So it was that he brought happiness to children the world over, performing three-hundred good deeds. So it was that he obtained what he desired by his own merits, ascending to Heaven. Before, like foam on the sea, all memory of a little merboy faded away into nothing.

Only to show up in a novel some years later. As to how this transpired… Lover sees no need to explain.

“I saw her earlier, the nun. The love she feels, for herself alone, so intense it seems to come off of her in waves, so unimaginably pure, so unimaginably twisted… I’m sorry, Master, but – I feel like I need to keep my distance. Or else… I’ll be sucked in.”

    Thais
“That’s it, that’s exactly it! People always seem to think love has to be something grand, but celebrating just being alive is fine, isn’t it? … Eh? Would I like something to drink? I’d like to, but I think I’m still technically underage– Hey, wait, wait! It’s been years since I last had to dance!!”

    Minamoto no Yorimitsu
“I know it might sound hard to believe, but… I think I understand. The depths of your love for humanity, so much stronger than anyone else’s. To care so much, and still feel as if you’re on the outside looking in. Even if we can’t be part of their world, we can’t help longing for it, right? Although — I think it’d be okay if you showed a little more care for yourself, too.”

    Carl Tanzler von Cosel
“I – I can tell your feelings are real, so I won’t deny them. And I don’t have the power to help you, so I won’t judge you. If you think the way you are now is a person she could love… Then I’ll leave it at that.”

    Beni-enma
“Um! I know this might sound sudden, but I really admire your work! Please allow me to study under you, senpai!”

    Jane Frances de Chantal
“It’s been so long since I saw this much raw compassion in a person. God must truly shine on you, Binder, for the beauty of your soul – and it would be an honour to lend you my aid however I can. It’s strange, though… Shouldn’t a spirit this selfless have become a Daughter of Air? What’s this strange, sickly feeling…?”

    H.C. Andersen
“Ah, Hans! I figured you’d be here– And off he runs. How many times has that been now? Don’t worry too hard about it, Master; I’m sure we’ll have time to talk when he’s ready. To be honest, there’s so much I want to ask him, like… Hey, Master, do you ever wonder what the meaning is, behind the story he penned about me? Haha, knowing him, he’d probably say something like 「what foolish creatures women are!」But I know there’s more. There has to be. From what I’ve read, he might’ve fallen for someone who couldn’t love him back when he was alive, just like I did. If that’s the case, well… It’s selfish of me, I know, but I really want to know what kind of person could have touched that child’s heart.”

Hello there, child – oh, my mistake. Hello, young man. Can you tell me your name?
    Hans, is it… That’s a good name.

Now, Hans, what has a brave young man like you looking so upset on a night like this?
No, it’s fine if you don’t to talk about i– You’d like a story instead? Until you fall asleep?
    That’s a little… No, no, I can do it!
    Um… I
do know one story. Listen closely, okay? It’s my first time doing this.

I interrupt my ongoing project for this last-minute interlude! Maybe a part of me just feels dirty for leaving the corpse-diddler as my sole entry on this round, idk. In any case, here's a more traditional hero to balance things out.

"Sheesh, it doesn't look like I'm going to get that rest anytime soon. I guess that's okay, though. I'm sure he wouldn't want to see me moping around when there's still so much to do. Servant Lancer, Martha Christina Tiahahu, Princess of Abubu, defender of the Moluccan Islands, daughter of Captain Paulus Tiahahu. Watch me, father; this time, I'll fight to the bitter end."

"War is hell. That much is obvious. Every day you wake up fearing for your own life, seeing the bodies of friends and family, wondering if today might be your last. And yet, if I must take up my spear again... I'm both proud and terrified knowing that I'd do it all over again. Would you call that confidence or foolishness..? Fufu, who knows?"

    Class Skills

    Magic Resistance (C)

Cancels spells with a chant below two verses. Cannot defend against magecraft on the level of High-Thaumaturgy and Greater Rituals. Despite her recent origins, Lancer was born in an area where mystery was still relatively high, even in the 19th and 20th centuries. Thus this Skill's rank is slightly elevated.

"Oh yes, mysticism was still a rather common practice where I'm from. There were all sorts of rituals and superstitions we believed in, even if I was born a Christian myself. Still... you can't expect them to do all the work. When the Dutch arrived and burned down our villages, the heavens were silent. Neither the local deities nor the scary demons from our bedtime stories ever came down to put the invaders in their place. I don't know if my resistance lasted as long as it did thanks to some divine intervention, but I don't think it matters. When the time calls for it, it falls to us to change our own destiny."

    Personal Skills

    Guerrilla Tactics (B)

A Skill denoting mastery in a form of irregular warfare, utilizing the familiar terrain to conduct sabotages, hit-and-run tactics, and ambushes to defeat a much larger and less mobile military. Lancer's main strategy in the war against the Dutch army, who possessed greater numbers and more technologically advanced. Lancer had insisted on attending her father's strategy meetings ever since she was a child, granting her extensive knowledge of this particular method of warfare. While her life was tragically cut short at the age of 17, she already possessed the mind of an experienced commander at that age... not like she had any other choice.

"Of course our bamboo spears and hunting daggers were no match for western firearms. If we're lucky, we could get our hands on some of their weapons whenever we raided their camps, but that's hardly a viable strategy in the long run. The only things we had over them were sheer numbers... and knowledge of the terrain. We were born and raised in the forest. Our ancestors hunted and settled there before their kingdoms were even built. So that's what we did; we stuck to the forests, hitting them wherever and whenever they least expect."

    Eternal Arms Mastery (D+)

Prevents degradation of fighting skills when under the effect of mental hindrance. Despite lacking any form of advanced formal training, Lancer was known as a quick-witted and resourceful fighter. It was said that should her spear snap, she would use her dagger, should it break, she would throw stones at the enemy using her sling, and should there be no more stones left, she would face the enemy head-on with her fists. While Lancer usually relies on her bamboo spear in combat, she is quick to adapt to the conditions of the battlefield, masterfully wielding new weapons and styles whenever required. While these impromptu techniques are hardly comparable to the true masters who spent years honing them, her resourcefulness allows her to utilize them well enough to create considerable trouble for unprepared enemies. Furthermore, this Skill also slightly reduces the time required for her to learn and apply new techniques.

"You can't be picky with your weapons. Most of the time, we just take what's available and try to use them the best we can. Swords, spears, bows... we didn't have time for any in-depth training when our villages were sieged. So I just asked everyone to grab any weapon they can find and whip up impromptu sparring sessions in the forest whenever we had the time. That's also what my father taught me. Come to think of it, isn't it the same with you? With the earth bleached white and all that, I don't think you have much of a choice on what sort of Heroic Spirit could answer your summons, so long as they're willing to lend a hand to your cause. Fufu, maybe we're the same that way..."

    Unyielding Will (C)

A Skill that represents one's extremely firm will that never yields to any sort of agony, despair or circumstances. Lancer's unyielding resistance to the invaders who took away her homeland serves as a beacon of hope to her people amidst a losing battle. While this Skill does not grant her immunity to pain or surpass her body's own limitations, it allows her to shrug off mental interference and even temporarily suppress the pain she received from her injuries to continue fighting. A Skill that allows Lancer to overcome difficulties by simply "never, ever giving up".

"Everyone looked up to me as some sort of hero back then. A savior that would bring our enemies to heel after years of oppression and exploitation. Heck, long after my death, people started comparing me to some legendary French heroine who heard voices from the heavens and fought against their invaders. But... it's not like I wanted to be a hero or anything like that. My dreams were nowhere as grand. It's just that... what other choice do I have? I fought because I had to. For a moment, I was the only person standing between my people and certain doom. Had I given up then, my people, my home, the memories we shared... I'd lose everything. My father would have died for nothing, and I just can't allow that. So that's why I took up my spear; because giving up was never an option."

    Anti-Colonialism (C)

A Skill signifying one who opposes colonialism. Allows Lancer to deal more damage to Servants of European origins, particularly those originating from the 15th to 19th centuries. Lancer was no stranger to the horrors of war since her childhood. She witnessed Dutch invaders forcing increasingly disadvantageous treaties to her people, sometimes using threats of violence, and more often than not burning down villages and performing unjustifiable killings. These experiences instilled Lancer with a strong hatred towards the idea of colonialism. While her fight was short, only lasting several years with her father and several weeks after his death, she came to be known as a symbol of colonial resistance among her people and ignited a fighting spirit within them that remained long after her death.

"...It was their fault. All of it. They're the ones who ruined any hopes I had for a normal life. The ones who bled the land dry of its resources. The ones who burned down my home and killed my father... and I fought them until my last breath. I have no objections to being called a hero. If anything, I'm happy that this one life of mine could inspire so many others. I'm sure father would be very proud of me as well if he could see me now. But looking back, I... I was SEVENTEEN! I should be spending my youth with other girls my age and falling in love with boys instead of... leading a guerrilla operation and all that... Tch, alas the world would never allow such silly dreams back when I was alive..."

    Noble Phantasm(s)
Take Up a Spear, in the Name of Your Freedom
    Bambu Runcing

"Not yet. I can't fall here. This is proof of our resolve! So long as a single person is willing to take up their spear, our fight isn't over yet! That's why I'll stand back up, no matter how many times it would take!"

    Type: Anti-Unit
    Rank: D
    Range: 2-3
    Max Targets: 1 person

Lancer's primary weapon, a bamboo spear. The spear itself is nothing special; despite possessing the strength of a standard weapon usable to combat Servants, its durability is relatively low, and for a Servant, it would not take much to shatter it. The true strength of this Noble Phantasm lies in the legend tied to the spear. The bamboo spear is often regarded as a symbol of indigenous resistance and rebellion in colonial Indonesia. While it is less technologically advanced compared to Dutch artillery, it can be easily obtained and mass-produced. This means that anyone, from nobles to commoners, men or women, young or old... anyone who possesses the will to fight against their invaders are easily able to do so with these spears. Thus, the true strength of this Noble Phantasm lies not in the spear itself, but in Lancer's capability to create an infinite amount of these spears for her to use, each of them classified as a D-rank Noble Phantasm with very little mana cost required to create them. This greatly increases Lancer's versatility in combat, allowing her to perform tricks such as snapping her spear in half to form double blades, or overcharging the spear with mana before throwing it as a Broken Phantasm. In a way, this Noble Phantasm can be said to represent her people's fight against the invaders, not as "a spear that can never shatter", but as "a spear that will continue to fight, no matter how many times it is shattered".

Dance of the Unyielding, United as One
    Tjakalele

"I see, so you're still here, huh? Everyone... You're right, there's no way you'd ever leave me alone. Then... I'll be relying on you once again for this fight. It's time to prove our resolve, one more time! Dance, Tjakalele!"

    Type: Anti-Army
    Rank: B
    Range: 1-50
    Max Targets: -

Lancer's true weapon; a wooden spear with iron tip, its shaft decorated with ornate traditional carvings. The spear was named after a certain traditional dance in Lancer's tribe, normally performed in honor of warriors who fell in battle. Related to this concept, Lancer is never alone; her legend is inseparable from the numerous individuals who fought beside her in liberating the Maluku islands from the Dutch colonial government. While these individuals fell in battle, their names lost in history and unqualified for the Throne of Heroes, their spirits are contained within Lancer's spear, tied with the spear's concept of "honoring fallen warriors".

In its dormant state, the spirits within the spear are capable of communicating with Lancer through some form of telepathy (although Lancer herself is capable of sharing this ability to hear the spirits with her Master or other individuals). Of course, the voices Lancer hears through this spear may vary; sometimes it's the wise village elder, other times it's a battle-hardened commander, the chatty young women from her village, or various other individuals. A limited release of this Noble Phantasm allows Lancer to amplify the power of her strikes with the combined strength of the numerous spirits contained within the spear. Alternatively, she could use these spirits to attack multiple points simultaneously (on the same target) with one hit. While it is an effective way of shattering or bypassing armors, shields and barriers, Lancer is normally reluctant to use this spear, believing it to be the last connection she has to her people and fearing that if the spear breaks, she would be completely alone.

This Noble Phantasm's True Name release can only be performed in conjunction with her first Noble Phantasm. There, Lancer produces a few dozen bamboo spears before touching her wooden spear, releasing a brilliant light. Afterwards, the stage is set; a chaotic war dance performed by fallen warriors who refuse to yield, even now. These spears seemingly gained lives of their own, hovering around Lancer and instinctively protecting her, accompanied with traditional music and rhythmic movements. This "dance" constantly encircles Lancer and follows her movements, optimizing each "performer" for offense or defense, depending on the flow of battle. At times, the spears would hasten their tempo for quicker, more relentless onslaughts, while at other times, they would slow down for more careful, precise strikes, or to defend their "lead performer". All the while, Lancer continues to command them with her dance, skillfully adapting her movements to counter the enemy forces. Ultimately, what this Noble Phantasm lacks in power, it makes up with sheer versatility.

    Lore
Martha Christina Tiahahu (1800-1818) was a Moluccan freedom fighter and a national heroine of Indonesia.

Tiahahu was born in Abubu village on Nusalaut Island, part of the Moluccan archipelago. Her father was captain Paulus Tiahahu, a military leader of the Soa Uluputi clan. Her mother died in childbirth, and she was raised by her father. It was through him that she grew acquainted with the archipelago's struggles against the invading Dutch colonial government. She was known as a stubborn child who followed her father wherever he went, oftentimes even insisting on joining him in planning attacks against the invaders.

As years passed, tensions between the Dutch and the indigenous people continued to increase. The Dutch imposed unreasonable economic treaties to harvest the archipelago's resources, while the people retaliated with revolts and raids on Dutch settlement. It was at around this time that the teenage Tiahahu first joined her father in guerrilla warfare. Leading her people, she provided assistance to fellow freedom fighter and national hero Thomas Matulessy (better known as Captain Pattimura). It was said that the figure of her wielding a spear, with her signature crimson headband fluttering in the wind, was enough to raise the people's morale. She also inspired the women to take up arms and fight alongside the men, providing the people with enough fighting spirit and manpower to overturn a losing battle.

The conflict reached its peak in the year 1817, during a massive revolt later known as the Pattimura war. At age 17, Tiahahu fought at the front lines with her father and Pattimura himself. In a battle at Saparua Island, the troops killed Dutch commander Richement and wounded his replacement Commander Meyer. In another battle, she and her troops succeeded in burning Duurstede fortress to the ground. During battles, she was said to throw stones at the Dutch troops with her sling if her soldiers were out of ammunition, while other accounts have her skillfully wielding a spear. After the next Dutch commander, Vermeulen Kringer took over the Dutch military in Maluku, Tiahahu, her father, and Pattimura were captured later in the same year.

Not long after, the freedom fighters had been sentenced. Paulus Tiahahu was sentenced to death by firing squad, while Pattimura was sent to the gallows. All the while, the young girl was spared on account of her age. Desperate to save her father and mentor, she did everything in her power to overturn their sentences, even kneeling and begging before the invaders who burned down her village and slaughtered her people. Her pleas fell on deaf ears, however. With both sorrow and resolve in her eyes, she accompanied her father during his final moments.

Following the deaths of the two people closest to her, Tiahahu's resolve only grew. While she was visibly shaken from the loss, she quickly mustered up the islands' remaining forces and continued their fight. She continued to lead guerrilla tactics on Dutch military camps and settlements, and were moderately successful in these minor campaigns. Her movement rapidly gained traction and attracted more and more people to join her cause for the liberation of the Moluccan islands. For a time, it appeared as if a resurgence of the resistance movement was possible. Unfortunately, it was not meant to be. Blinded by rage and grief, the young commander grew careless, making several tactical mistakes before getting herself captured once again. Again, she was spared from execution, although she was instead sentenced to be transported to Java to be used as slave labor there. She fell ill on the way. Refusing food and medication as her final act of defiance towards the Dutch, she died on January 2, 1818- just two days from her eighteenth birthday- as the ship transporting her crossed the Banda Sea. Having earned even her enemy's respect for her fierce determination, she received an honorable burial at sea later that day.

Soon after Indonesia's independence in 1945, Tiahahu was declared a national heroine of Indonesia. January 2nd was designated as Martha Christina Tiahahu Day. On that day, people of the Moluccan islands spread flower petals over the Banda Sea in an official ceremony honoring her struggle. However, the ceremony is smaller than that honoring Pattimura, on May 15th. Several monuments have been dedicated to Tiahahu. In Ambon, capital of the province of Maluku, an 8-meter (26 ft) tall statue of her holding a spear was erected in 1977; it stands in Karangpanjang overlooking the Banda Sea. In Abubu, a statue of her leading soldiers while holding a spear was erected and dedicated on the 190th anniversary of her death.

"Hmm... I never really gave it much thought, to be honest. Favorite food? I mostly ate fish and small animals from the forest, but we couldn't exactly be picky with what we ate back then. Favorite recreational activity? There was no time to even think about such things in the middle of war. So, what I like, huh... I guess it's just having plans go off without a hitch? Yeah, that's about it. It's... probably a boring answer, I know."

    Dislikes:
"People who refuse to let me fight on the front lines. There were still people who underestimated me back then, even after everything I did. Maybe it was my age, or maybe they were just looking out for me, in their own way, but... what else was I supposed to do!? After they killed my father, was I supposed to just... retire to the countryside and take a husband or whatever!? I felt like I had to fight, or I'd lose my mind! What's wrong with that!?"

"Ah, now that I think about it, I used to be pretty good at dancing! After all, I took part in several of those traditional festivals before... everything happened. Would you like to watch sometime? ...On second thought, maybe not. It's been ages since I last did any actual dancing, to the point it'd probably be embarrassing if I do it now! Besides, what would my people think of seeing their battle-hardened commander mess up during some important cultural performance!? Eh? My Noble Phantasm? Th-That's a completely different thing, okay!?"

    Dislikes:
"I have no regrets for everything I did. I chose that path as the only one available to me at the time, and I followed it until the end. Still, whenever I look back on it now, after spending time here in Chaldea... isn't my life kind of messed up the more I think about it!? I mean, what sort of seventeen-year old had to organize guerrilla operations and lead ambushes instead of... whatever it is girls my age should be doing!? That's why I'll never forgive them; those who took away my life, in every sense of the word."

    Wish:
"You'd expect warriors who fought in a losing battle would wish for another chance to prove themselves, or to pull off a miraculous win for the sake of everyone they wanted to protect. That's... not the case for me. My people were important to me, yeah, but I don't need another chance to prove myself. Even now, I'm perfectly willing to do everything all over again, even if it means dying another tragic death. Instead... I wish I could see my father again. I know his death was a natural outcome of war, but still... if he were to see just how hard I fought afterwards, short as it was... do you think he'd be proud?"

Despite her youth and short stature (which she is rather self-conscious about), Lancer is an assertive, battle-hardened commander. Being no stranger to the horrors of war, she is capable of making tough decisions and swiftly adapting her plans to face her enemies. Her headstrong idealism and sense of justice may occasionally cause her to come into conflict with more pragmatic Masters, as she would sometimes undermine the Masters' plans in favor of liberating others from oppression.

As a commander, Lancer prefers to maintain a professional relationship with her Master. Masters may see her as someone very single-minded and goal-oriented to achieving her wish; a heartless commander who would push others away and do everything in her power to achieve her wish... Not that she has any other choice.

In truth, Lancer's cold, overly professional demeanor was born from her experiences in war. After losing so many of her friends and family, a part of her believes that forming bonds with others are unnecessary in a time of war. After all, "Perhaps if I weren't so close to them, it wouldn't hurt as much when I inevitably see them gutted, executed, or riddled with bullets". Thus, she continuously suppressed her sorrow and guilt under the image of the "perfect commander". Ultimately, Lancer is still a young girl who had her teenage years robbed by the flames of war. Occasionally, a more "childish" side of herself may appear whenever her back is against the wall, characterized by increasingly reckless and/or borderline suicidal schemes. In this state, she may need some convincing that she does not necessarily need to throw her life away for the sake of her victory. Should the Master's words fail, the whispers of the spirits contained in her spear might be the only thing capable of reminding her of what it is she originally fought for... at least, whenever the numerous voices there aren't too busy gossiping or voicing out her deepest secrets.

Lancer is absolutely thrilled at the prospect of being summoned in the modern day. In life, she enjoyed some semblance of peace during traditional celebrations. While her culture isn't especially known outside her homeland for her to enjoy the same celebrations she did back then, she's still delighted to find out that the world had become a much more peaceful place compared to her time. In fact, she believes that now would be the perfect time for her to truly enjoy being a normal girl her age... well, as normal as life could get in a place like Chaldea, at least.

    Jeanne D'Arc, Lakshmibai:
"Master, I don't think it'd be right for someone like me to be compared to legends like them; I'm no messenger of God, nor a queen who shouldered the fate of an entire nation. I'm really just a village girl who wanted my home back so I can enjoy the festivals again with everyone... Things just went seriously out of hand back then, but did you really think I deserve to stand there just because I happened to be a woman and died young in a fight against invaders?"
    ...
"...Ah, so that's how it is. Even if our circumstances are different, our resolve is the same, to a certain extent. When you put it like that, maybe we're not so different after all... er, I still don't want anyone calling me a saint or a queen, though! That feels... blasphemous to the genuine articles, yes."

    Spartacus:
"A hero who fought against oppression. He wasn't afraid to oppose a massive empire in a losing battle, knowing full well the risk of death... I respect him, even if his methods can be a bit... extreme, at times. Then again, I don't think any warrior ever made it without a few reckless tactics up their sleeve. I know I'm guilty of the same things, sort of."

    Suzuka Gozen, Sei Shonagon:
"So this is what teenagers these days are into... The whole subculture is flashier than I thought, to say the least, but I won't back down now! I'm going to give it my all for the sake of being 'hip'! Please teach me, where shall we begin!?"

    Illyasviel von Einzbern:
"NO WAY! You have a talking stick as well!? And they sometimes say weird and embarrassing things too!?"

    "James J. Kilroy":
"Finding joy even in the darkest hours of war... heh, I wonder if it's really that easy..."

    Joséphine Bonaparte:
"So you were also dragged into a war against your will... well, I wouldn't say it that way. You made your fair share of terrible decisions which led to things unfolding the way they did, so you're not exactly innocent either. Still, whether you're an Empress or a freedom fighter, having to sleep with one eye open every night, not knowing when a lucky assassin or some random artillery fire could end you is never a pleasant feeling. On another note, can I stay in your garden for a little while longer? I find it calming, somehow."

    Dewi Sri:
"Just like in Java, the Moluccan islands were also known for their gods and monsters. I heard about them all the time in my bedtime stories. And yet, when we needed them the most... none of them ever came. Despite the countless people who prayed and lost their lives there... oh, I'm sorry. I know it wouldn't be right either to blame everything on you. I... just had to get this off my chest, sorry."

    Diponegoro:
"So the same thing happened in Java... well, if nothing else, I'm glad the island had no shortage of people like you to defend it. It's a shame how things turned out for us, I get the feeling. But if this one life of ours was the price required to pay for the nation's independence, for the sake of everyone else we sought to protect... we knew exactly what needed to be done, don't we..?"

    Thomas Matulessy:
"Wow, the captain is here as well, I see. While he's nowhere as cool as my father, I definitely learned a lot from him. To me, he's both an experienced mentor and a trusted friend."

    Yearning for the Lost

    My father was gone.
A few brief seconds, a loud voice signalling the end, and a shower of gunshots was all it took to end him.
A few minutes later, the guards escorted me out.
They didn't say anything, but their eyes told me everything I needed to know.
"A child like you shouldn't be here."
"This brat really made a mess of things."
"Go on. Scram. Forget about everything here if you value your life."
I wanted to scream and cry, but I held my tongue. I bit my lip, until I could taste my own blood from it.

Well... I guess that was it.
I was foolish to think I'd ever return to a normal life after this war.
Heck, I doubt this war would end anytime soon.

So... what else is there left to do?
Not like any of my dreams could come true at this point. Not when my father, the captain, my friends, and so many others died already.
Not like I could just go back home and call it a day. Not when my entire village had been reduced to ruins since several years ago.

What else is there left to do... but fight?

    ---

A hero, a freedom fighter, a beacon of hope against the forces of colonialism...
I never cared for such titles.
Until the very end... I was nothing more than a girl who yearned for things that were no longer there.

    Creator's notes
    - Original sheet here.

    - Unfortunately, no music this time around. Finding a traditional Moluccan instrumental arrangement that fits the ambiance is hard. Javanese/Balinese gamelan music, like I used for Diponegoro or Airlangga is much easier, since the culture is much more mainstream here, but they sound too different than what I have in mind for her.

    - Man am I lucky to find exactly one(1) tumblr user who made an anime-style artwork of her to use as fc. Heck, even then, this is the only picture where she's alone and not accompanied by OCs.

    - Actual Tjakalele dance for reference. The second NP is... loosely adapted from that one. It's both a war dance, performed with all sorts of traditional weapons, and a dance to honor those who fell in war. On the more superstitious side, it's also said that the ghosts of these fallen warriors can end up possessing the performers on stage. I just took the whole war dance + ghosts + traditional weapons thing to come up with an improvement for the NP.

    Gender: Female

    Height: 164 cm

    Parameters:
    Strength: B
    Endurance: B+
    Agility: B
    Mana: B+
    Luck: A
    Noble Phantasm: A

    Class Skill(s)
    Magic Resistance: A
A common Skill that grants protection against magical effects. Differing from the Resistance effect that merely rejects Magical Energy, this ability cancels the spells altogether.

In Nézhā's case, she can cancel spells that are A-Rank or below and is unharmable by modern mages. This Rank is earned through the numerous fights and victories she has had against enemies who can use Magecraft during her time fighting against the Shāng dynasty and as a general of the Heavenly Realm. This is further helped by the fact that she is a proficient user of Philosophy Magecraft herself, taught to her by Taiyi Zhenren.

    Personal Skills
    Spiritural Pearl: A
The Precious Pearl that serves as Nézhā's core was implanted into her when she was still in her mother's womb by Taiyi Zhenren as per the orders of Yuanshi Tianzun. Due to this, she was a special existence stuck between mortals and immortals during her life which had been both a benefit and trouble for her. In a sense, this Pearl served as her foundation in life and a generator for her constructed body after her resurrection.

This Pearl's primary purpose is to be the power generator with its' ability to produce enough Magicial Energy that even in this Class Container is still second to only a Dragon Reactor Core in terms of output. It also acts as Nézhā's version of a Divine Core which means all of the effects of the Divine Core of the Goddess, she has too. However, the main and most powerful ability this Pearl offers to Nézhā is the ability to come back to life akin to the From a Single Cell cliche. No matter what happens to her: stabbed, sliced into pieces, decapitated, or even having her body nearly incinerated, as long as the Pearl isn't destroyed as well she will come back from death. Truly, a broken Skill.

    Divine Lotus Body: B
A Skill that refers to Nézhā's automation body made from a divine lotus and blessed to revive her by Taiyi Zhenren and Shakyamuni. This synthetic body has aided Nézhā numerous times during the fight against the Shāng dynasty's fighters with its benefits. The benefits the body has is like all robots in that it has none of the bodies of flesh. Nézhā has increased Endurance, and high resistance against all types of toxins, diseases, and curses that affect the soul. It also made her tireless but seeing as a Servant's version of stamina is how high their Mana's Rank is, this ability was made redundant.

By the way, her body isn't the armour or the bodysuit she's wearing. In fact, her body looks almost identical to a normal human's and the armour is more like power armour where it is connected to her via ports.

    Demon-Slayer: A
A Skill that's provided for those who have taken down a demon. It is could a talent given from heaven, but also from personally killing a demon. It can be said that the anecdotes themselves have become this Skill. For Nézhā, this is given to her because this Class Container represents her as the heavenly vanquisher of
    Yāoguàis
    Demons
, having known to defeat ninety-six demons and the one who ultimately subdued the Bull Demon King in the end. If she was summoned as an Archer or Rider this would become Mystery-Slayer and if she was summoned as a Berserker, it'll be Dragon-Slayer instead. In the Saber Class, she would lose this Skill as she had her two demon-slaying weapons with her.

When fighting against a demon of any type, Nézhā will receive a strong boost to her offensive power against them, allowing for even the slightest glance to deal massive damage at this Rank.

    Philosophy Key: B
Refers to having inherited a Philosophy Key that is the card required to borrow the
    Spells
    books
    from the
    Philosophy Foundation
    libary
, as she was a disciple of the Zhēnrén Taiyi. Unlike a certain tactician, while her Key can also access the Privileged Domains, it is only partially as she was never suited to casting complicated spells like her friend was as she is a warrior first and foremost at the end of the day hence the lower Rank.

    Noble Phantasm(s)
Flame Licked Piecer of Heaven's Adversaries
    Huǒjiān Qiāng

    Rank: B
    Type: Anti-Unit
    Range: 2-3
Maximum Number of Targets: 4 people
Nézhā's famous fiery spear that was given to her by Taiyi Zhenren is one among many of her Baobeis and one of the most famous ones in the modern day. A double-tipped 190 cm long spear whose spearhead is the shape of flames and seems to be glowing orange-red like it had been heated up and has purple tassels made out, of not hair, but of flames or more accurately plasma.

Indeed, contrary to popular beliefs, the fire the spear can produce and get its name from is actually jets of plasma. The spear can heat itself to intense degrees of heat to increase its piercing capability and like a plasma torch, can sprew out jets of plasma for a midrange attack. However, its abilities don't just end there. Due to it being used to harm and kill so many who were deemed the enemies of heaven throughout Nezha's second life, any damage dealt to someone who is considered to be an "Enemy of Heaven" would be increased and the wound dealt would be unhealable as a Divine Punishment. Those who hate "Heaven", oppose it, betrayed it, want to disprove it, or have greatly disrespected it before would all count to the spear and it would not matter where the "Enemy" is from nor which "Heaven" they have made an enemy of. And yes, this effect is stackable with Demon-Slayer. Finally, the spear has a special technique called
    地飞爽灵
    Flying Bright Spirit
where she unleashes the spear's full firepower and crashes into the target at top speed and explodes like a fiery meteor.

Twin Wheels Blazing Across the Boundless Heavens
    Fēnghuǒ Lún

    Rank: C
    Type: Anti-Unit (Self)
    Range: 0
Maximum Number of Targets: 1 people
Another one of Nézhā's most iconic Baobei takes the form of two elaborate wheels that seem to be permanently engulfed in plasma flames. Its primary purpose is like a jet boot where that allows Nézhā to fly through the air at incredible speeds. This mobility can allow her to easily attack her enemy with speeds that most Servants would be jealous of and it could allow Nézhā to deliver fiery kicks and stomps and be used as a projectile if needed if she's willing to temporally sacrifice her mobility.

The Tempered Wrath of the Overarching Immortal Beast
    Sāntóu Liùbì-Luō Xiān Shòu

    Rank: A
    Type: Anti-Army
    Range: 1-10
Maximum Number of Targets: 6 people
The manifestation of Nézhā’s most iconic spell which is commonly thought to be uniquely hers where she grows an extra pair of heads and two pairs of arms to allow her to become more powerful. In actuality, this is an ability Nézhā had since birth due to her being the reincarnation of a Dà Luō Xiān, a being of the highest tier Immortal that resides in the highest of the Taoist heavens, who served the Jade Emperor himself but was weakened after her rage was tempered which applies even now as it was originally Three Heads Eight Arms. As for how a certain Monkey King managed to use this ability... In future Nézhā's own words: "Copycat. Thief. Plagiariser. How was he able to copy this with Magecraft? Unfair."

In this state, Nézhā has 360 degrees vision with the extra heads and with the ability to use 4 extra weapons at once which is handy seeing as her collection of Baobeis that she was previously unable to use in this Class becomes unsealed, increasing her offensive and defensive capabilities. This Noble Phantasm would also make her slightly more monstrous in appearance, be made 3 times bigger, and increase her physical Parameters. This makes her a whirlwind of death with her extra pairs of arms, Baobeis, and increased physicality, making her a terror to her enemies especially when one factor is that she will still be able to use her Wind-Fire Wheels. And if there's anything this has over Nézhā's Berserker self's
The Unstoppable Wrath of the Dragon Slaying Immortal Beast
    Sāntóu Bābì-Luō Xiān Shòu
that is superior to this in nearly all ways, it is that Nézhā can retain her sanity and distinguish friend from foe and have lower Magical Energy consumption to activate and maintain though it is still intensive enough that she should not use this for long.

    Lore & Background
Nézhā, the famous hero and guardian god from Chinese mythology, so much that to this very day she is still worshipped and beloved by the people she has protected. This would have even resulted in an incredibly successful film inspired after her that broke box office records in both China and worldwide in 2019... if it weren't for the bleaching of the planet during 2017.

Originally a minor god named Nalakuvara in Hindu mythology that Buddhism would absorb and then Taoism when the god's story made its way into China where Nézhā would be created. Born as a male during the last years of the Shāng dynasty by the machinations of Taiyi Zhenren by secretly implanting a mystical pearl into him and taking him as a disciple when he was finally born. This unique existence would cause Nézhā's childhood to be one of violence and arrogance that eventually cumulated into him killing a Yaksha when he tried to stop him from washing in the river because he was disrupting the Eastern Dragon King's palace. He then killed the third son of the Dragon King too when he came to confront him about his murder of the Yaksha and even ripped out the dragon's tendons. He even beat the Dragon King himself when he tried to report on him to the Jade Emperor. Greatly proud of his actions, Nézhā would not expect these to result in him and his family being threatened by the heavens themselves and would be forced to commit suicide to save them.

However, perhaps of his special status, his soul didn't go to the underworld and wandered the earth instead. He eventually wandered to the realm of Shakyamuni who noticed his soul and noticed Taiyi about it. Together the two beings collaborated to revive Nézhā with the Buddha offering the materials and blessings and Taiyi created and fine-tuned the body. After his revival, Nézhā now with a superior body (though with the wrong gender) and new Baobeis and armour that Taiyi took inspiration from the technologies of the Machine Gods of the west, immediately went to take revenge on her father Li Jing for everything he did to her including denying her first attempt for resurrection. The two beings allowed Nézhā to go on her revenge, only stopping in to stop her at the very end when the Buddha created a miniature pagoda for Li Jing that's designed to trap Nézhā and have her be continually burned as a way of curbing her wrath and bloodlust. The Budhha also told her that if she will not regard and heed her birth father then she will instead heed to regard the
    Himself
    Buddhas on the pagoda
as her father. With this, the father and daughter (forcibly) made up and went on to fight for King Wu to overthrow the Shāng dynasty.

Centuries later, she would go to fight against Sun Wukong during his twice rebellion against the Jade Emperor and his Havoc in Heaven (and lost every time) and would assist him and his master multiple times during their adventures but those are events that this Nézhā has yet to experience and only has blurry memories of as this version is the Nézhā between the founding of the Zhōu dynasty and the birth of Sun Wukong. Someone who has been a general of Heaven for "only" two centuries or two hundred days in Heaven.

    Personality
Nézhā is a virtuous being who greatly values justice and morals, one who seeks to punish acts of evil. Usually, these punishments are dealt out in the most direct way possible as subtlety, while not something she is foreign to, is simply not her way. She would observe everyone and gauge their morality seemingly as an unconscious behaviour that can be confused for programming. This would ensure that she would never accept most Magi as her master. Speaking of programs, while Nézhā does act quite robotic at times, especially with her aura and how she speaks, she is ultimately mechanical in only the body as she can express emotions and how childish she still acts at times.

Being the protector god of children, she has a soft spot for them and will try to be a big sister figure to them. Harming children in any way is a sure way to get a plasma spear thrusting at you. However, due to the lack of her experience as her days playing with the other children are long in the past and her younger sister has yet to be born for this Nézhā, she will often be found struggling to become her ideal image of a big sister. This is a fragment of the greater social awkwardness that she possesses due to her special status never making her fully accepted by the mortals and immortals alike and this was never fixed after her revival. So it is common for her to make mistakes both small and large when interacting with someone like misunderstanding idioms and not comprehending sarcasm. In other words, she's a ditz when it comes to social norms and complex interactions.

This ditziness also extends to matters regarding Nézhā's gender. While she is very proud of her body to the point of attacking anyone who even does so much as belittling her body as she believes that hers is the best in the world due to it being created by Taiyi Zhenren and the Buddha, she will immediately become silent when it comes to her current gender. Although it has been centuries and she has mostly accepted it by now, she is still suffering from what's essentially gender dysphoria. As such, she will have moments where she forgets she is no longer a male and causes embarrassing accidents because of it. If she was summoned as her older self during the Journey to the West, this wouldn't be a problem for those versions of Nézhā by then.

    Relationships
    To Master:
She would remain loyal to her master through thick and thin and betrayal would not even be thought about by her as long as the master is a virtuous one or if they just have a normal person's morals. If they are the opposite however like a typical Magus... Expect to be stabbed and burnt.

    To Xuánzàng Sānzàng:
"Why do I feel. So annoyed and exasperated around you? And an urge to call you a stupid monk?"

    To Sūn Wùkōng:
"You. Look. Familiar. For. Some. Reason...? 'It's nice seeing me again so do I want to spar?' Questions aside. Bring it on then!"

    To Shakyamuni:
"Wha-Lord Buddha!? What is the honoured one here for!?"

    To Tàigōng Wàng:
Stop your teasings, Ziyá. Or else. Though. It's nice to see you again. Your intelligence and Spells will be a great asset.

    To Èrláng Shén:
"Ah. Yáng Jian. You're here too. Spar? What? 'I haven't changed?' What do you mean?"

    To Tàisuì Xīngjūn:
Yīn Jiāo? Wait, no... You're not him?

To Qín Shi Huáng (Lostbelt) & Xiàng Yǔ:
"Hmm? The technologies of your bodies... Wait. Is that from me?!"

    To other constructs:
Impressive craftsmanship. But not as good as my body of course. Hmph

    To Dragon-Kinds:
"Ah... So many memories of immaturity rush back. Embarrassing. Must. Punch. Younger. Self...! And the wicked dragons present of course."

    To Demons:
"!!! Demonic presence detected! Engaging enemy!"

    Author's Note
Started late and finished late. Sigh. Well, at least this contest has given me a chance to rework a Servant that has always disappointed me with her stereotypical anime Chinese girl design, the lack of details on her Skills and NPs, and her lack of a major contribution to the story despite appearing in three main story chapters. And all of this is increased even more for me due to her being one of my childhood heroes. So I made her more sci-fi while also more accurate to her legends. I mean why make her a mecha if she doesn't even look like one?
