Shrapnel's lack of affect scares me sometimes.
Imagine that the world is made out of love. Now imagine that it isn’t.
Imagine a story where everything goes wrong, where everyone has their back against the wall, where everyone is in pain and acting selfishly because if they don’t, they’ll die.
Imagine a story, not of good against evil, but of need against need against need, where everyone is at cross-purposes and everyone is to blame.

Real Spinach hours.
Hit that like if the sheriff just found your dad's body.
Right?
So, I know it was on hiatus for two years and when it came back it changed from monthly to bi-monthly and even then had breaks here and there because of the author's deteriorating health. Glad to see he finished it. Most likely not how he wanted it to, but it beats never being finished at all.
Didn't see any news of his death recently, if he has indeed passed. Hope not.
As for other MMA manga... there's All-Rounder Meguru and Mongrel.

If this sheds some light, I went in for a doctor's evaluation and was found to have difficulty expressing empathy.

In actuality, I have an excess of empathy.
Well, I mean, self awareness of this is probably good. Didn't mean to make you explain personal medical information or anything. It's just alarming to me because if anything I have an overabundance of empathy that is sometimes borderline debilitating. Some type of empathy shows through in your writing, though, if you care to know that. I read something once (paraphrasing because I can't remember where right off) about how it is said that writers write what they know but that it is not true. That if they did, they would have perhaps one novel, three poems, and so on. Instead, it was said, writers do not write what they know but rather from empathy.

Updated thing worked strangely there. But yes, I see. That makes sense, too. I think I almost compulsively express mine.

Clarifying: strangely in that I actually only saw the part before the updated but when I clicked post the updated part was the only thing that quoted, so I was responding to the former rather than the quoted part which I had not seen? Anyway.

War has changed.
It's no longer about back story, personality, or character development. It's an endless series of debates, fought by weeaboos and neckbeards.
War, and it's consumption of free time, has become a well oiled machine.
War has changed.
ID-tagged characters based off ID-tagged archetypes, use ID-tagged tropes. Moe inside their personality regulate and enhance their popularity.
Character control, tropes control, story control, personality control. . . everything is monitored and kept under control.
War. . . has changed.
The age of plot has become the age of control, all in the name of averting catastrophe from lack of funding, and he who controls the industry, controls history.
War. . . has changed.
When the debates are under complete control, war becomes routine.
i feel like vivienne and i are the only people in this game that dont hate the idea of restoring the circle
edit: i also chose the templars instead of the mages and allied with them rather than merging the order with the inquisition and everyone was mad at me. maybe i should go for an unpopular decision countdown

I've given up on original fiction production as a thing I just don't actually care to do right now. Fanfiction is fun and feels like a way of responding to a work if I'm going to bother liking it. That said, my Empty Gold document is now pressing on toward 29,000 words. Granted, about two pages of it is outline.
I have faith in Captain America to generally be right.

I wanna go but no one to go with
At the Iron Man 3 premiere night thing I went to with my dad, there was this guy who was being an idiot on the dark stairs, horsing around with his friend. He accidentally bodychecked me and made me dump a VERY large Dr. Pepper all over my body. It got on my glasses, too, so I was just standing there, half-blind and a little indignant. But then he was a nice boy and picked up my stuff, tried to help me with things, and then asked exactly what I had and went and re-bought fresh concessions for me, getting rid of the soggy, ruined ones. He was being an idiot, but he seemed nice and was kind of cute but my dad was standing there and I couldn't see, but I always regretted that I didn't talk to him more before running away to the bathroom to get cleaned up before the movie started. There was time, but I just kind of ran away from the most sitcom stupid thing that ever happened to me.
