Came home to find the streaming service I used for years has died

I'm steering clear of anything that enjoys throwing pop ups when I want to watch anime

so, I'll probably start downloading tha good stuff

But how will you know what's good without seeing it? If you trust the general consensus you miss out on all the weird niche shit that might appeal to you alone.

when I say tha good shit, I mean that good shit that tickles my fancy

when I can I try to watch at least one episode (since 3 at this point is becoming tiresome) and see from there.
Funnily enough there are some, uh, "mainstream" anime these last two seasons that I haven't bothered with yet

general consensus is nice and all, but it wont stop me from enjoying silly trash

Heck some of the trashiest stuff has been the best to watch, with and without company

I can't even imagine downloading even just the first episode of most things in a season. Even just streaming it is tiresome, and the mess it would make of my desktop would drive me up the wall.

Actually, that ISN'T why I'd want to kill God. My reasoning is more along the lines of "we humans are already doing fine on our own power, and if you want to come down and interfere, we don't need you, so fuck off."

Reminds me of the end of Persona 2, where you meet Philemon (effectively god) and the dialogue option is to either thank him or punch him. I always picked the latter as it was funnier.

Depends entirely on which God you're talking about, but most capital G monotheistic Gods will tell you they're the reason humanity is doing anything at all. It's kind of hard to argue with a Being whose plans are literally ineffable for your puny mind.
