I think Hanachiku it's 's a mix of the words of 花 and うんちく. After all, these brief commentaries were described as "花のみやこ的うんちく".

Stopping Kishima? At this stage she's like a freakin avalanche so for now taking her head on is not the best idea. The least you can do is re-direct her attacks. Maybe something like Aikido can earn you more time to live through a fight with her.

With the recent chapter out, 's very likely that the events of Melty Blood Act 2 manga happened before Hana no Miyako! takes place.
The setting for Hana no Miyako! is Misaki town right? I remember they have a school named Asagami but that's an all girls school.

That's just the Asagami Academy that Akiha went to in Tsukihime, I don't see what's so special.
There's, like, a whole side story there in KT.

I figure it's the same place; they made the school co-ed between the events of KT and Hana no Miyako! How old was Miyako during the events of Melty Blood? 7 years old?
she was 6th grader in MB so, about 11-12 years old.

At the end of chapter 17, there's a message that says part 1 is done. There've been no more new chapters since then, and there's no news about part 2 yet.
