Eh... Well, I consider Prajnaparamita being able to destroy God Hand (as other NPs). Of course it sounds broken, but considering that it has divine origin and "being able to cut anything" is it's only ability, i don't think it would be cheating.

Well, probably it would be at least chipped. Although it is again unstoppable force vs. immovable object dilemma. I guess ranks would matter (for example, I consider Arondight and Excalibur to be above it's ability).

While the marker isn't human per se, it exhibits a large degree of sentience, and was able to form an agreement with the grail in addition to answering the calls of a summoning. It is not a hero, but is contained within the grail in a similar manner as Gilles De Rais, as they both attained fame by means of the slaughter of a large number of people. It is an artefact of human origin and alien roots, worshipped by a religious group known as the Unitologists. This particular marker is but one of the many red markers created by mankind. It once sat atop the Sprawl, a human colony that exists in the distant future.
Upon being summoned, all aspects of the marker are re-created, including gunk within its curling structure. This biological waste contains multiple colonies of the rider-class pathogen responsible for the creation of the Necromorphs, created from the dead bodies infected by the pathogen. The Marker possesses no control over these micro-organisms, and actively advises its victims to purge the ensuing Necromorph scourge.

Noble Phantasms:

Convergence- Make us Whole Again

Convergence takes the form of an otherworldly, barren landscape, a world initiated within the mind of a single target. It is unknown is multiple instances of the Noble Phantasm can be activated at the same time. It is not a reality marble, but rather the ultimate form of the Marker's ability to manifest its will within another being's mind. When afflicted by convergence, the victim loses all motor control over their own body and is swept into the desolated plane created by the marker. Death within this world translates to the death of the victim's mind, and their body is subsequently absorbed as a part of the Convergence event.
A magnified form of the marker dominates the core of this world, with swirling tides all around. Ghosts reminiscent of child-sized, clawed creatures are materialized at frequent intervals within this internal reality, and they swarm their target aggressively in the hopes of overcoming it by brute force in numbers. If the marker is given enough prana and can sustain a powerful enough instance of Convergence, the phantasms within will possess the ability to rip the victim apart in a matter of seconds, regardless of how much armour that they possess (since they are partially immaterial). Although the victim possesses all armaments that they previously did prior to entering this realm, the plane of horror is self-sustaining, feeding off of the energy that the victim's mind requires to function. It will remain in existence until its host's mind gives out, the host is killed within, or the central marker is destroyed.
Despite the sheer threat that the ghosts represent, the core marker is relatively weak. It is susceptible to destruction by conventional firearms, and especially weak to the Noble Phantasm known as the Contact Beam. The aforementioned Noble Phantasm, if fully upgraded, is capable of destroying the ghosts in a single blast, and is equally efficient at taking out the core. However, Convergence is the marker's means of absorbing another's body, as opposed to being an actual weapon. It is said the true Convergence will only occur if the body of the final 'maker' is absorbed.

Phantom- Faces of the Dead

A Noble Phantasm that represents the illusionary abilities of the Marker. In an attempt to accelerate the coming of Convergence, the Marker utilizes its unique broadcasting ability to make its victims hallucinate. It has been known to manipulate up to five people at one time, but the actual target capacity of this skill may number in the thousands. When activated, the target sees images of their loved ones. These may be copies of people who are still alive, or people who have been dead for extended periods of time- it does not matter. The Marker lulls its victims into a false sense of security and encourages them to believe that these images actually are the human beings that they knew and venerated. These phantoms have two primary objectives- to convince their targets to crush the Necromorph infestation, and inform them about eternal life through the Convergence.
As the means of the creation of these phantoms is non-magical in nature, no prana is required to activate this skill. However, the Marker must still be functional to continue sending out such signals. The results of this Noble Phantasm vary widely, and its field of use encompasses nearly all forms of manipulation.

Abilities:
Mental Interference

Rank: A+

A unique form of mental interference. It is not magical in nature, and therefore other servants with the Mental Pollution or Magic Resistance skills are also susceptible to it. This skill is at such a high level that mere proximity with the Marker is enough to drive Magi and normal human beings insane within one or two days. Servants will take nearly a week to succumb. All victims experience constant mental pressure.
The Marker is actually transmitting encrypted instructions for the creation of the Markers, their blueprints, through its signal. However, not everyone is able to decipher the signal, thus receiving it as mere "noise," images and meanings without coherence, ultimately driving the person into paranoia or insanity. The reason as to why not everyone can properly decode the Marker's signal is attributed to some undefined aspect of the individual's intelligence.
The only ways to protect oneself from this skill include possession of alternate forms of mental protection, or having a uniquely strong mind by nature. Even so, such individuals usually give in after a month. So long as the target is within reach of its signal, it is impossible to defend oneself entirely from the Marker's whispers. However, it it possible to avoid the effects of this ability entirely if one does not possess a brain with which to process the signals.

Mental Pollution

Rank: A+

Due to possessing a distorted mentality, it is highly possible to shut out any mental interference Thaumaturgy. However, at the same time it becomes impossible to come to an understanding with individuals that do not possess an equivalent rank of mental pollution.

Prana Burst

Rank: C

Increase of performance by impregnating one's weapons and body with magical energy and instantly expelling it. Simply put, recreating the effect of jet burst by expending large amounts of prana. At this rank, it is only capable of piercing flesh and bone. Raises defense infinitesimally. The Marker used this skill to incinerate Necromorphs in its original existence, but is unable to employ it as an effective offense against servants. While it cannot do a great deal of damage to other servants, the area of effect is large enough to burn their flesh and weaken them if they get close enough.

Clairvoyance

Rank: A

Superior visual perception. Supplement long-range aiming and increases dynamic vision. Furthermore, at higher ranks it is possible to acquire precognition ("see into the future") and other forms of perception that are beyond normal eyesight (X-ray vision and the sorts). The marker is capable of keeping track of multiple objects within a range of 300 km^2. It is able to 'see' or 'perceive' things around it even if it is blocked by sheets of metal, rock or buildings. However, it has not yet reached a level at which it is capable of precognition.

Autoregeneration

Rank: C+

The ability to close wounds and stitch bones at an accelerated rate. At a high enough level, it is possible to re-create a body from inanimate slush. The Marker reassembles itself after Heroic Spirit Clarke destroys it, demonstrating a relatively efficient ability to recover its original form. At this rank, it is possible to reassemble one's body continually, or activate high-speed regeneration while on the brink of death (but only once).

Charisma

Rank: B+

Natural talent to command an army. Increases the ability of allies during group battles. A rare talent. Above the necessary capacity for a king, and enough for a deep understanding of human emotions.

I remembered seeing a list of the nine servant classes on this forum, but can't remember where to find it. Anyway, I recall references to 'a child who ruled over beast men' and that kind of thing, but I don't think I saw any mention of fair balances and/or neutral observers. I was unable to find the list in the several results that I checked (obtained via a google and forum search), so I can't say for sure though. It would be great if anyone could procure the list. The Marker is a ruler in the sense that it is worshipped by the Unitologists, and they devote their time and every waking moment to usher in the coming of the Convergence. People influenced in such a way will kill heathens of their religion and act as an army of sorts.

I mean, Jeanne led the French army in various military campaigns, and she's also a Ruler. She didn't seem very much like a neutral observer to me.

Also, the most prominent illusion that the Marker uses in Dead Space is the protagonist's dead girlfriend, so it would probably be more appropriate to call it a 'her' as opposed to a 'him'.

Well, it's made by Nasu. And it's not implausible. There is no hard and fast rule to how a person ascertains the boundaries of a Servant class. Also, Five_X has already suggested servants of the Ruler class in this thread, why doncha go take it up with him?

Oh, I don't have any trouble with the "ruler" class at all. I've seen worst (eventual) WTF-servants in this thread and others.
